The 11 Best Frozen Drinks In Houston - Houston - The Infatuation

"The Flat in Montrose almost always has a DJ, dance music, or something happening that will make you sweat, regardless of the season. The best way to cool down and keep the party going is with one of The Flat’s most popular drinks: a frozen mojito. While the drink itself is nothing revolutionary–it’s just rum, lime, and mint–it feels refreshing, especially on the cramped dance floor. Plus, almost everyone else is drinking one, too." - chelsea thomas, gianni greene

11 Houston Spots Where You Can Drink Holiday Rum Cocktails | Eater

"This unassuming Montrose hotspot is perfect if you’re looking for a hidden gem to enjoy a few cocktails with visiting friends for the holidays — you may even mistake it for someone’s house at first glance. Kick back and listen to the DJ spin classic hip hop from their large outdoor patio or one of the tables inside to be closer to the action. To help you get into the holiday spirit, try the frozen carajillo made with Santa Teresa 1796, Licor 43, coffee, and demerara sugar."

11 Frozen Cocktails to Drink Right Now In Houston | Eater Houston

"The Flat’s famed frozen mojito is simple and smooth with a blend of rum, muddled mint, and lime. A mix of wine, rum, wild berry liqueur, and fresh strawberries make up the fruity frozen sangria. And, for those dreaming of tropical trade winds, the frozen pina colada topped with a maraschino cherry provides a taste of the beach." - Baylea Jones

I was recommended to check out your venue by a close friend and was genuinely excited to attend Reggae Wednesdays especially with it being New Year’s Eve. I decided to spend my NYE at The Flat, and I want to start by saying that the time I did get to spend there was enjoyable. The DJ and overall vibe were great, and I was having a good experience initially. During the course of the night, I purchased several drinks at the bar. The first few times, I was served by a female bartender, paid in cash, and tipped with no issues at all. On what I believe was my third visit to the bar, I was served by a male bartender. I paid in cash and informed him that I had given him a $20 bill. He told me I had only given him a $10. I was confused, as I came in with a specific amount of cash and was keeping track of my spending. I initially returned to my table, but after thinking it through, I went back to the bar to calmly inquire again, simply hoping the bartender could double-check the register or the cameras. Instead of addressing the concern, the bartender went to the back and contacted security. Two security guards approached me at the bar and told me, “I don’t know what’s going on, but you have to leave.” I tried to explain the situation to the security guard and made it clear that I wasn’t causing an issue. I even stated that I wasn’t certain whether I gave a $20 or a $10—I was simply asking for the transaction to be checked. The response I received was, “How is he supposed to check what you gave him?” which was confusing to me, especially for a business that uses cash registers and has security cameras. At no point was I yelling, acting out, or being disrespectful. I had purchased four drinks for myself and my partner and fully intended to continue enjoying the night. Being escorted out of the lounge on New Year’s Eve around 11:30 PM over a simple transaction inquiry was extremely disheartening. While one of the security guards did kindly allow me to finish my drink before leaving, the situation as a whole left a very bad impression. Feeling upset and embarrassed, I did leave a Google review afterward because being removed from the venue under those circumstances felt unfair and unnecessary. I live in the neighborhood and had genuinely wanted to return on another occasion to try the coffee and other offerings, but this experience has made me hesitant to spend my money at an establishment where a customer inquiry is met with removal rather than customer service. I’m reaching out because I believe this situation could have been handled very differently, and I wanted to make management aware of what happened. I hope you will take the time to review this incident.

Google
Checked this place out for happy hour. We asked what the happy hour specials were and then asked for a cranberry vodka. The bartender started pouring and asked if Tito’s was okay, we said yes, assuming that was the well liquor that was on happy hour. Nope. Got charged double for a bottom tier liquor. Tried to bring it up when we closed our tab, but they wouldn’t honor it. Make sure you ask and verify if looking for happy hour.

Google
give a security guard the tiniest bit of authority & he acts like he runs the place. he yelled at me & my friends then kicked us out for talking to our friend across the gate by the entrance. all our friends, including her bf were already inside & she was the last one left. the power trip is insane. we were literally just figuring out what to do next & planned on leaving. if this is the type of staff they hire it tells you everything you need to know about this place. the patio is packed, you can barely hear the music outside, people are leaving, & somehow she still “can’t come in.” instead of doing his job, he inserts himself into our convo to tell us we can leave if we’re “trying to push up on him” 😂 valet is also $30 which is basically a few inches pulled up from where we dropped it off on the street. just garbage. i’ve been a few times before & honestly the only positive is the food truck.

Google
If you're looking for a place to salsa, look no further. This small cozy venue offers DJ and live music. Finding parking is a challenge.

Google
What I love about The Flat was the music and the people. The chicken pizza tasted store brought. But the drink was great!

Hernan F.

Google
Pretty small indoors but they do have a outdoor patio. Drinks were decently priced. Frozen mojito was delicious. Inside is pretty cool as well. Parking is a hassle though as they don't have a parking lot, you have to find street parking and that's always a hassle. Overall a cool place

Google
It was nice, even though it was a week day. They had good food, good drinks & nice music. We had fun that nice.

Wow! I'm not sure how I've never visited this place! Everything about it was so much fun. The colorful building is the cutest. BUT THE BARTENDER (Ronal) was by far my fav experience. His drinks (all of them) was amazing, I had the Lavender Lemon Drop & Green Tea Shot (I didn't get a pic - it was so good I forgot to snap one)! He is so creative, knowledgeable, a true mixologist and very friendly too. He alone would be the reason my husband and become forever customers here. Now, let's talk about their pizza ... I can't lie, I was a little hesitant to order food only because majority of the time (that I've experienced), when the drinks are as good as they were, the food is not so good, well, this place tossed that thought all the way out of the window! Our pizza was so good! Really really good! It was fresh and flavorful! I would highly recommend! And to top off all of that greatness they have, it was nice to see that they are still following all of the Covid-19 safety guidelines! I can't wait to go back! THIS PLACE IS A VIBE!

Yelp
Happy hour for days! The Flat is my favorite spot for a good cocktail or frozen drink to just relax. Love their margaritas--it's the perfect place to vibe, enjoy the music, and even get a little work done when you need to escape the house.

Yelp
Popped into The Flat for a birthday gathering. The DJ was INCREDIBLE! We'd planned to stop in, drop off a gift, say HBD, and head to the next stop...but the DJ kept us there for 90 minutes. I was surprised to see Jamaican beef patty and coco bread on the menu. Took forever to come out, but when it did...delicious and well worth the wait. Drinks were delicious as well and their bartenders clearly know how to make a great cocktail. Place feels a little "divey" but the vibes, drinks, and surprising food quality make it worth a visit.
google avatar

Cristal M.

Yelp
Bartenders are friendly, and so are the people. Drinks are solid--they've got frozen mojitos and frozen piña coladas that always hit the spot. The music is... eclectic. Some nights the DJ is on fire, other nights you're just trying to figure out what's going on . They've got some food options plus a food truck outside, and there's a big patio area if you want to hang out. Overall, good vibes. It's not quite what it used to be, but still a fun spot to people-watch and get in a little dancing.
google avatar

Danielle D.

Yelp
DJ Jose, is a grade a DIXK HEAD. Not a real a real DJ. Prerecorded everything. So when you ask for a song he rudely pushes you off, because he's not able to adjust it. Rather than say he CANT play the song, he talks to you crazy & sarcastically. When I say, rude... I mean RUDE & I'm from Houston. He's just rude as HELL. Does not fit in with the neighborhood vibe that The Flat offers. Everyone that works here is KIND. I love coming here because of the staff alone. He's an ASXHOLE. We've been here for hours. Round after round & he's the one off thing.

Yelp
Such a fun spot with great music and amazing drink selection. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking to have a good night!

Yelp
It had been several years since I'd been to the Flat, which must qualify as a historic Houston landmark by now. I went on a Wednesday, which was surprisingly bumping for middle of the week. We happened to go on reggae night, which featured a live band and dj, a Caribbean food truck, and a guy selling oils and Bob Marley paraphernalia. With an eclectic, diverse crowd and it's 70s/80s-esque neon lit lounge, the Flat is definitely an energetic yet laid back vibe. The cocktails are good with unique flavors, though admittedly a bit on the pricey side compared to some similar bars. Service is quick even with large crowds. The inside area is pretty small and hard to hear in with music, but the covered patio is the perfect place to chat and people watch. Everyone seemed to know each other, creating a lively, friendly atmosphere.
google avatar

Jazmine S.

Yelp
Went here one Saturday evening with my friend for drinks. We saw this spot on TikTok and wanted to try it. I'm so glad we went. Great atmosphere and one of the best piña coladas I've ever had. The only thing I didn't like is the parking. There's some street parking available.
google avatar

Rose K.

Yelp
I really love this lounge, just around the corner and upstairs from Anvil when you need a break from the loud hustle-bustle. We were out on a weekday night which was nice because the bar wasn't overly packed. The bartenders were awesome (Okaaay Julia!) and the crowd is always chill and friendly vibes. I love that coming here feels like you're transported to Cuba. Also, dark booths with comfy couches, great for dates and a cozy/intimate vibe, no judgment, great cocktails. The Old Fashioned is always a hit for me.

Yelp
The Flat simply does not miss! This has become my go to spot for pizza and Cold Brew Martinis. It's welcoming when you frequent an establishment and receive the same friendly service each time. If there's a drink that's no longer on the menu and they have the ingredients, you'll get that drink. I like dark cozy spots, the patio is nice too.
google avatar

Malcolm E.

Yelp
My go-to neighbor bar for AGES!!! What's not to love about this place! Extremely laid-back, eclectic individuals and also a great date-night spot with cozy corners. I enjoy frequenting this establishment simply to engage with patrons, dance and let loose! The decor and patio are a staple in the Montrose area. I really appreciate the diverse music, curated by the owner DJ Sun, alongside the other DJ's that switch up the funk every night. Stop by for their amazing happy hour deals.

Rachelle Rare P.

Yelp
This place is a vibe. I came here Wednesday (Reggae) night it was lit. The crowd was diverse and everybody was vibing. I enjoyed the music and the drinks were cheap. I would def come back here. The only drawback is the fact that the bartenders add tips to your bill at the end of the night/ next day. I paid with my cash app card and the next morning my $7 purchase turned into $10. I never tipped so I know someone added it. Luckily $3 isn't that big of a deal to me but if it was more I would've raised hell. Do not use important cards when here use a throw away.

Yelp
Laid back, sexy lighting, live dj. Small and hidden; NOT social media warriors. This place has a very sexy thing about it. Bartenders are great and drinks are affordable! THIS MAY BE MY MOST FAVORITE PLACE IN HOUSTON!
google avatar

maite v.

Yelp
One of my favorite bars in montrose! Perfect for a little frozen marg after work during the day. Then at night it's perfect to dance & have some fun. They have some of the best DJs here I love it. Bartenders are so friendly & make good drinks. 10/10
google avatar

Karina N.

Yelp
One of my favorite hangouts. Love the music, love the staff (shout out to Kali) Love the atmosphere and vibe. I always meet great people here and leave having a great time. Both inside and the patio are equally awesome areas. The pizza is really good too!
google avatar

Carmen C.

Yelp
Nope! Ridiculously incompetent clueless bartenders. Shocking really. I can't begin to explain the experience I had here with the bar staff. I only advise to either arrive intoxicated or skip altogether.
google avatar

SJ K.

Yelp
Love this place! Cozy intimate dance floor with a DJ who always reads the room and keeps everyone on their feet! Every time I've been here the music is different (reggae nights, EDM nights) but the DJ is always 10/10. If you're into music & want a fun night out dancing but not at a massive club, definitely check this place out!
google avatar

Daisy P.

Yelp
I do not recommend this place given my bad experience. I stopped by for first time to celebrate my friend's birthday. When we arrived we only ordered 2 drinks that was a total of $35 max after the tip I left, I paid as it was my friend's birthday. The charge reflects as $82 for 2 drinks!!! I called more than twice and the number provided does not work. There is no website. I reached out via Instagram and messaged them for help on how can this incorrect charge get corrected Their response more than 24 hours later : "Hey reach out to djsun1@me.com He doesn't run this account" To sum it up, they never provided further help. This was extremely unexpected and upsetting as this place is a staple. I was excited to come here but I will not return. Hopefully this does not deter you from trying this place out.. just be mindful of keeping your receipts!!! When paying for drinks so you avoid going through what I did. Ambience is quite small inside and if people are dancing it can get crowded in the bar area if you want to order a drink. I was unable to find the outside patio so maybe if they had a sign up or friendlier staff that would be helpful for new clients.

Joe R.

Yelp
Came here with a big group and we had a great time. music was killer and Agustin was great behind the bar, he makes the best drinks!!

Yelp
Festivities continued and we ended up at The Flat. A cozy, intimate surprisingly entertaining spot with a a lot to offer. Upon entering we were greeted with a lively DJ set. I apologize but didn't get the names but they were rocking. It seems the entire inside is a dance floor with patrons getting it in, in every corner. It really does look some someone's living room. There is a small bathroom corridor, with an outside mirror and sink accommodations. Staff were friendly and my Lemon Drop Martini was yummy. We ventured outside and to my surprise, there is a spacious backyard setting. Another bar, ample seating, and patio heating lamps. It was a chilly night, so the lamps were nice. We took in the fresh air and sipped our cocktails and conversed for a few. We could see the DJ booth through the window and decided to go back in. They were getting it in! We continued to dance the night away. Definitely a cozy, intimate spot for house party vibes inside and chill backyard vibes outside. It's on the list of places to be!
google avatar

Chi A.

Yelp
The Flat is a dope vibe on Wednesday nights (only times I've been) with good music, people, food and drinks. If you've ever been to a basement like party in Brooklyn, this is the same vibe. Located in the Montrose neighborhood, The Flat caters to all. Every time I've been, the crowd is diverse, and that ranges across all ages, race, geographic location and gender identity. It's free to get in and there's plenty of street parking available. There's a Caribbean food truck out front and a guy who makes wings on the outdoor patio. I enjoy being out on the patio because there's plenty seating and you get to converse with other party goers and meet great people. It's also a breath of fresh air to go out in Houston and not have to deal with valet, entry fee or sections.
google avatar

Goldie O.

Yelp
I came here for happy hour once many moons ago and remember really enjoying the pizza and margaritas! These last couple of weeks, I came back to back for Reggae Night (Wednesdays) and really enjoyed myself. It's a nice, fun vibe where people actually dance and enjoy themselves. If you want to sit outside, they have a pretty big patio out there. I notice they have drink specials on certain days of the week so I ordered a Lavender Vanilla Martini and it was soooooo good! A random con for me was the bathroom area. One of the stalls was just way too small for me, like I could barely fit in there. Also, parking in this area sucks so you can either valet or try and circle the block a few times.

Twanda D.

Yelp
The ambiance is set for a great DJ experience with the Flat. The Flat has a very well picked selection of spirits and the bartenders know exactly what to do with them. If you're in Houston and looking for some Reggae Wednesday The Flat is #1. Any other day they have house music that is soulful. And sometimes the owner is walking around with a smile, a hug or a handshake. The Flat is Houston
google avatar

Troy J.

Yelp
I love Deejay Sun and his frozen mojitos!!! Atmosphere is always on point. Pizza is great too!
google avatar

Coorey R.

Yelp
The flat has some miles on it, which is good considering how much has changed in the Montrose area. You're pretty much guaranteed good drinks & service any day of the week. Whether inside at the bar/lounge, or outside on the patio, there's a general chill vibe. Good spot to go with friends if you want to sit in a nice place to chill, drink & cut up. There's always a diverse crowd to; in multiple ways, but everyone is always there for a good time! Easy to mix & mingle groups as well.

W1 S.

Yelp
Long time in avid customer who first experienced this location many years ago. The ambience still great but most recently the DJs were somewhat monotonously flat. Some injection of soulful house music would be more scintillating, and this commence it with the roots of the establishment.
google avatar

Roma B.

Yelp
They have HH 4-7pm on weekdays and 11-7pm on weekends. The pizzas are half off and some of their drinks are discounted too. Got the spicy chicken, banh mi, and the goat pizzas. Pizzas are huge and definitely worth $8-9. The quality of the crust is okay, not the best pizza but the toppings were flavorful. The music is pretty loud since there's a live DJ, so it can be hard to have conversations, but I loved the vibes! There was a wall of vinyl records, surrounding the DJ. Felt like a cool nyc spot.
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
I've been coming to The Flat for my tenure in Houston (~15 years) and it's been consistent with quality drinks and tunes/DJs. Love, love, love the frozen mojito and flatbreads. Bartenders are always nice and welcoming. My newest reason to come is EverythingFrenchToast for brunch on the wkds, delicious!
google avatar

Ana W.

Yelp
I absolutely love The Flat, it was my first time going. Super lively, especially for a Sunday night. It was so full of life, very chill music and vibe. The service was absolutely amazing. The bartenders Nico and Kali are THE dynamic duo! The green tea shots that I was given were amazing! I absolutely love this lively, fun, chill spot. 100% recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
The Flat is definitely not like drinking a flat soda. I stopped by on a weekday for my company's happy hour. The Flat is an interesting spot. You might miss it driving down the road as it kind of looks like a residential house. They don't have a parking lot so you'll have to find parking on side streets. Outside, they have a decent-sized patio if you're looking for more of a casual experience. Once you walk inside, you get hipster-ish vibes. There are some seats at the bar and some tables. The happy hour specials are solid with daily specials as well as happy hour specials. On both food and drinks. They're known for their frozen mojitos and it's one of three frozen drinks along with frozen sangria and pina coladas. The food consists of casual fare like pizzas, fries, etc. We had some pepperoni pizza and bahn mi pizza. Yup, imagine bahn mi ingredients on a pizza. It was interesting and worth trying. At night, they have DJs playing EDM music. A non-pretentious casual spot where you can show off your best moves. I'd definitely come back for happy hour.
google avatar

Demond S.

Yelp
I was visiting family in Houston. My brother and I hungout for a bit. I rattled off a couple places that were closed and we ended up at one his spots, The Flat. It is just that, your friends flat, that has a cool patio, jamming DJ, and a full bar. It is the kind of place where everyone goes to hangout, drink, and just chill for the evening...night. I was pleasantly surprised as I walked in. Bartenders were great and accomodating on mix drink selections. They are not a restaurant, but they do have food items like pizza, fries, etc to help soak up that alcohol to keep the party going. This place attracts a mixed crowd and seems to draw larger crowds after 10p. Great place. Worth the visit.
google avatar

Elia P.

Yelp
Good ambiance. Chill vibes. This location is small but offers both Indoor and outdoor patio setting.

Tatiana G.

Yelp
The drinks are great. I love the craft drinks and the shots. As a Chicago house head though...something is amiss. I move for a minute or two then am sitting down. Listening for something to get me back up again. Can't quite put my finger on it. A tad more soul could be placed in the mixes. Old school house, soulful contemporary house, just...more than what was displayed. If it's supposed to be all techno, cool - but I looked to see who came and went (because they were underwhelmed) and it seemed like soulful house, deep house, old school house, etc. would've been appreciated greatly.
google avatar

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
Just found this place! Amazing happy hour from 11am to 8pm on Friday's!! We got two beers and a pizza for a great price. The pizza was fantastic and so many options for happy hour! Cool out door vibes lots of plants. Indoors is not what you would expect, in a good way. It has a great vibe here as well. Service was great, not a long wait for food or drinks!
google avatar

Xiaoting X.

Yelp
Good neighborhood bar. Lots of student crowd, more like a cafe than a bar. Lots of group hangouts with pizzas and cocktails. Not a wine bar place.

Josie Z.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE! My friend and I came here and ordered 2 drinks. TWO! The total came to $24 and with tip came to $32. Why the heck did we get charged $82??? We contacted the manager and the manager is a useless sack of crap who didn't help at all. Horrible customer service. Horrible seating arrangements, it's crowded beyond belief with no place to sit either. WILL NEVER COME HERE DO NOT RECOMMEND
google avatar

Shea M.

Yelp
I honestly didn't know what to expect when we walked up but my friends reassured me that it was a nice spot to chill at and indeed, it was that. I knew the bouncer so I felt super comfortable in the spot after seeing him so that was a plus! I was extremely hungry when we went so I ordered the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza and it was SO good! Way better than I expected too. Also ordered some fries which were like little wedges and they were good as well. I went with the frozen mojito for a drink and it was kind of minty of course lol didn't go too well with the pizza imo but it was really refreshing. Probably wouldn't order again unless I really had a taste for it. The music was a little different from what I'm used to but I was not mad at all. Everyone seemed to genuinely have a really good time which is rare .. like, actually dancing and enjoying themselves with complete strangers. Not something I usually see when out since it's usually at much bigger places. I could see myself possibly going back if ever in the mood for a "lowkey" outing.
google avatar

Fabian R.

Yelp
Nice night to get out for some drinks and laid back fun. The Flat is the perfect place to show up and find a vibe. No superficial expectations or environment, just good music, food and drinks. There is a great patio area to hang out on as well with plenty of setting. The interior isn't the biggest but it offers enough room to let loose of you like to dance. Anytime I want to just enjoy my night this is a go to stop.
google avatar

Yelp
Hidden gem I loved the outside patio Great happy hr cocktails Very friendly and great service
google avatar

Rocksann S.

Yelp
Our neighborhood gem. My husband and I just moved to the area in February after living in the 'burbs for the past 12 years, and The Flat is a perfect representation of our neighborhood. It's welcoming, chill, electric, diverse and conveniently located to my hizouse. I really appreciate the mixed crowd. A couple of added bonuses: they make delicious pizza and offer a discount for those who live in the area and show their ID. For my hip-hop heads, Friday is better than Saturday, as they play more old school and classic beats. There's a little too much fist bumpin on Saturday (for me).
google avatar

Anissa A.

Yelp
The services and vibes was great and I don't have a reason to give it less than 5 stars. Their Instagram is a leaves more to be desired with their drinks and the pizza was pretty small. Two people probs need to order three to get full on empty stomachs. Interested to go back and try the bahn mi and prosciutto pizzas.
google avatar

Courtney B.

Yelp
This is truly an eclectic place. So many different types of people, great music, lots of open seating and styles. You can choose indoor or outdoor area to sit. One bar area, small dance floor, open bathroom concept. They had good mixed drinks and specials. There are strategic tv's placed around the area outside. Parking is a bit difficult due to residential restrictions but it's worth the walk if you have to make one from your car.

Yelp
Really cute hole in the wall bar. Small. Cozy. Food options could be better. They only had pizzas, but menu says many other different options. All in all, we had fun. Oh, and live music was cool!

Yelp
I've been going to the flat for years!! Never ever had a bad experience here but decided to stop by last night 3/15/24 and had the worst experience. I ordered two old fashions with Buffalo trace, the male bartender working poured bourbon and small ice cubes in a rocks glass and stirred it two times and gave it to me like that, no bitters no orange peel nothing. Okay sir if you didn't know how to make one then don't charge me for one and don't take my order and pretend. I asked him if he could make me an actual old fashion and he said "we don't really make old fashions this is a club" lol uhh this not no club sir! Anyway, I told him I always get them there and last time I received wonderful old fashions from a bartender that was working last time I went ... his rebuttal was a very sassy "that's great! Congratulations" at this point I just want what I paid for so I ask if there is anyone that has time to make my drink? he goes over and whispers something to the female bartender, she eventually comes over and ask me what's up I tell her and she does nothing about it and tells me they really don't have time to make an old fashion. Now they weren't busy and it was maybe us and 7 other people at the bar and not everyone was even ordering. I asked her what time her last call was and she said 1:50 which was PLENTY of time before that so I'm not sure why they were being so lazy! This dynamic duo had madd attitude and had zero interests in making a loyal customer happy... I also just have to add I'm not a rude person I was super nice when I asked them if they could remake my drink correctly and also I have no problem paying for premium whiskey and also tipping generously but this duo sucks and does not belong In the service industry! Absolute trash attitude, drinks and service!!!!

Yelp
I've been here before but I didn't remember that until I arrived. The Flat is great! The parking sucks, but it's great. Oh, the DJ played the same genre of music the whole time, it also sounded like the same song. Some techno or something with no words. Who knows. They have happy hour, even on the weekend from 4-7pm! That's beautiful. They have discounted drinks and 1/2 off their pizzas. The exact discounts are located on their menu. I ordered the house special pizza, which was delicious. My friend ordered a basic pepperoni pizza. Both were $6 dollars. And we both had frozen sangrias. The frozen sangrias, which were $5, were everything! Now I've never had a frozen sangria, baby it was all that! I will definitely be returning back so that I can drink several of them and partake in the happy hour a little longer than I was able to. Too good! The service was good too. If you want water, you can get it yourself which is great so you don't have to stand and wait at the bar. The parking is the only downfall. It just sucks, but I still give them 5 stars. Take an Uber honey, or just ride with a friend, one car is better than two.

Yelp
Worst place in Montrose I've ever been to, the drinks are so mediocre and the ambiance used to be cool but after I met the owner and spoke to me and my friends so rudely and found after the fact that he was the owner really surprised me. The hospitality just was not there and my friends were coming from out of town and we wanted to dance, we happened to move the chair near a table and the owner just yelled at us and cursed us out because he said there was a speaker under the table, which is completely understandable but theres ways also to communicate stuff and that was just not the way. If you want to waste, money, time and get cursed out after being a chill guest go there.

Yelp
Food, Service, and Ambience is Amazing. I wish I could give this place a 5 star but the music was extremely loud. After the live jazz band, there's a dj that starts. It was only 10 people in the place and there were request to turn down the music. The dj nodded sure he will turn it down but did not. Another dj came on and several request were made and the bar tender on staff was even notified. Once again the dj said sure then immediately walked over and told the other person in. The dj booth to crank it up even louder. At this point there may have been 12 people in the entire bar. Too bad our experience as regulars was ruin by DJ's that are in a battle over territory that's not theirs. My crew cut our time short as well as our dollar all because of ego driven immature amateurs trying to make it in this world.

Yelp
Came to watch a few sets (DJ) Stayed for the company. Def a cool place to relax and people watch. People are so laid back. Couches make you feel like you're at home enjoying music and lights.

Yelp
Cozy outdoor deck atmosphere, 70s-hipster chique indoor bar, nice bartenders, and a good happy on cocktails and drafts. Parking is a thing but that's what you get for the cozy bar in a residential area.
