We don't have a flying biscuit where we live, so if we stay anywhere that they do have one, we stop and eat. It was late in the afternoon, but we still could have breakfast. I got the Mr. Big, their take on a big Mac. This is what a Big Mac aspires to be. Add to that, the truffle fries, and you got a really good meal.

The food here was excellent. I was told a 10-15 minute wait, but it was more like 7. I took my 18 month old with me on a “brunch date” and he CLEANED HIS PLATE! The stuffed French toast was SUPERB! I also like the slight, nutty flavor of their coffee.

Google
Small, quaint spot. Went for a late morning breakfast. Had a 30 minute wait (was expected being a Sunday). Our server (Victor) was very pleasant, attentive, helpful, and on point. The food was really good overall. Had to ask for extra queso with the Hangover Hash, as there was only a very small amount on the bottom. Love the apple butter.

I’ve been coming to this location for years… because they provide the best service! Always ensuring that their patrons enjoy their visit! Morgan and Haley specifically have always made me feel welcome and happy! Please be sure that these two know how much I appreciate their efforts! They’re the best!

Google
I finally tried Flying Biscuit and I love my experience!! Our server Sydney (sorry if I didn't spell it correctly) was awesome! The food was hot and delicious, the waffle was soft and moist! I definitely plan to come back again! I only gave a 4/5 star for Atmosphere because the bathroom needs help.

I recently visited the flying biscuit after years. I enjoyed a breakfast with my dad. He enjoyed the waffles and chicken tenders. I tried the pancake taco. It was delicious! I enjoyed all the flavors and it was a hearty meal. My only issue is it was loud. Made it difficult to have a conversation. Our server great though.

Yelp
Flying Biscuit Cafe - A Breakfast Gem Looking for a quick breakfast spot, I realized I was near a Flying Biscuit Cafe--and as always, it did not disappoint. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the host, and it wasn't long before we were seated. Our waiter was just as pleasant, adding to the welcoming vibe. We started with mimosas, and here's a tip: if you're with someone else who's drinking, just go for the bottle. At $19.99, it's a great deal and plenty to share. I stuck with my go-to: the Flying Biscuit Breakfast. It's a perfect plate with two eggs, your choice of meat, grits, and their signature fluffy biscuit. Let me tell you, those biscuits are EVERYTHING! For my meat, I chose the sausage patty, but they also brought bacon by mistake. No complaints--it was all incredibly delicious! And their grits? Absolute perfection. This spot is perfect for any occasion, whether catching up with friends, enjoying a date, or sharing a meal with family. From the vibrant decor to the friendly staff, the Flying Biscuit encourages community and warmth. It's a moment well worth your time.

Yelp
First breakfast (and review of 2025) was delicious! We went to Flying Biscuit the morning of New Year's Day and loved it. It's been forever since we have been to a Flying Biscuit and I forgot how much I loved it. We got there right in time because they got BUSSYYY. We ordered the classic Benedict and the High Flyer. The food came out quicker than expected considering the wait at the front door. The Benedict was delicious and fresh. I wish the hollandaise sauce was a little more lemon like but overall super tasty. The star of the high flyer was the grits. If you love grits go to Flying Biscuit! Their grits are perfect, creamy, fluffy, light, soft, tasty, flavorful. Also, the waffle was great too. Considering they were busy we did have to wait on a few extra things needed with our meal but first day of the new year I was trying to be patient. I forget her name, but our server was amazing. She had a few tables, worked at the bar, answered the phone, and was seating people. Shout out to her.

Yelp
Amazing brunch spot! Came with family and had such a fun time with the menu, the sunny and friendly service, ambience, and portion sizes! We came early in the morning and were able to get seated immediately. The food was so fresh and satiated everyone at the table -- everything was also super reasonably priced, too. I really liked the chorizo hash, and my partner liked the biscuits and gravy and grits (biscuits and gravy are not so much my thing). The chorizo hash was flavorful, punchy, and bright. Would love to come back again.

Jamil B.

Yelp
This is how they keep their bathrooms. Imagine how they keep the kitchen. Very disappointed

Kim E.

Yelp
The creamy dreamy grits are amazing!! I could eat two more bowlfuls! We went at 8am on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. But by 9 it got busy.

Yelp
Recently went to dine in at Flying biscuit and it was my first time. Staff was very courteous and polite. The ambiance was colourful and vibrant, uplifted my mood tbh. We tried their May specials- Churro French toast, so delectable. Hitting all the right spots. Chilaquiles- Must try! Absolutely a perfect brunch meal. Hot-Lanta burger- My new favourite, spicy tangy and delicious. 3 amigos tacos - you wouldn't stop eating these! In sides we had potatoes and enjoyed it. Hot chicken & Waffle - Omg, I can't tell you the chicken was so tender, flavours were bang on Biscuits were so soft and buttery. Highly recommend trying this place for southern style food. Mimosa flights is a great option to pair your food. We liked pineapple and peach The complex has plenty of free parking, they also have a lot of vegan friendly options as well.

Yelp
I used to go to the Mclendon Ave location for years! I took my mom and sister there previously! I used to go to the record store located next door. I recently searched and saw my beloved location closed. I went there for years. The only location I visited because of service and the delicious food! The time for this restaurant is Mon Fri 7:00-2:00 Sat Sun 7:00-4:00. I went here 2 wks ago after work and found out. This new location carries on tradition in service and delicious food! I went on 11/30/2024. My server name is Melissa she took care of me with great service. You can't miss her she has purple hair. I only got the Award Winning Shrimp and Grits from the old location the whole plate or bowl. This time I got a half order a biscuit and apple butter comes with the entree. I also got a water. I also tried something that I have not previously. I got 2 biscuits and 2 chicken sausage patties and I got chicken sausage gravy. Apple butter comes with the biscuits which I put under the top of the biscuits and the chicken sausage gravy on the bottom of the biscuits below the chicken sausage. I made my own little delicious sausage biscuits! The reviews looked great at this place before I visited. I saw reviews at other locations not as good. This is the only location I'm going to go to and bring family and friends to!

Jeff C.

Yelp
I took my aunt here after her Dr's appointment . Service was friendly and prompt . I got a burger while my aunt got the flying biscuit breakfast. Verdict: Great burger and breakfast my aunt loved her grits.Ambiance was cheerful casual with nice sunflower murals on the wall. A very good place ( locally owned, national brand) to eat breakfast or lunch moderately priced in Toco Hills !

Yelp
Wow. The Flying biscuit is not what it used to be. I used to bring friends and fam to a location when visiting. Sadly today will be my last visit. The person who took the order over the phone was efficient and friendly. The food order was poor. The biscuit was old (the sugared top was crusty and hard), the grits were surprisingly good, but the main dish: Salmon scramble was fishy tasting (odd for Smoked salmon) and the filled cream cheese was plopped in lumps under the eggs. So, when you go to eat the eggs from the container, you inadvertently get a fork or spoonful of cream cheese, unless it falls off the bottom of the eggs. No scramble, just lumped. Sad. I called and spoke to management who attempted to take up for the cook, but conceded that the cream cheese should be on top, so it would melt into the eggs. So, if you dare to visit ask for fresh biscuits, the cream cheese to be scrambled into the eggs and sniff the dish to make sure there is no loud fishy scent. Only then, would I venture to take a bite from this locations dishes. The interior seemed fine, the bartender was friendly and helpful. She's why I gave two stars.

Yelp
We had a 25 minute wait... It was well worth it! We were seated in a booth in about 20 minutes. The service was great and all the staff were very inviting! My Dad left his phone in the restroom and one of the staff returned it! We we're grateful for the attentiveness! My Grannie and I spilt the Smoked Salmon Scramble and the May special Chi·la·qui·les -Homemade tortilla chips topped with marinated steak, two sunny side up eggs, white cheddar cheese, sour cream, avocado & cilantro. A fiesta in every bite! Both dishes were really flavorful, fresh, hot and tasty! The grits were so creamy no cheese was needed. The steak was tender, house made chips were crispy and everything worked well together! The biscuit and jam was good ! I look forward to visiting again!

Yelp
So I came in this morning and had a great experience. I was seated a few minutes after walking in. The staff was very nice. The menu has a lot of great options. It honestly took me awhile to decide. I started out with a mimosa flight. Definitely recommend! You can pick your flavors. I did, orange, pineapple, mango and peach. Food came out pretty quickly and everything tasted great! I got the honey hot chicken and waffles. The waffle was so fluffy and the hot honey chicken was good. I also got a side of scrambled eggs with cheese. I don't know what they put in them but it was sooo good! There's no music or anything playing and people were talking at a normal volume. The place is a little small but everything moves quickly. Overall had a great experience and can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Love eating a this restaurant for brunch. Menu items are unique with many options. I enjoyed trying the food on various times I have eaten there.

Yelp
I was here a couple of weeks ago. I had previously visited a Flying Biscuit in North Carolina and was super excited to see there was one in GA where I was visiting. Whenever I visit the south I do so with a bit of anxiety because of the color of my skin. Even more so when I travel solo. I was happy to see that my anxiety faded when I entered this location. There were people, families, groups of multi-ethnic backgrounds. It made a difference! The greeting was a little dry but I wasn't there for that. I was there for some of the creamiest and smoothest grits I could get. My waitress could of been more friendly and more attentive but that's not what I was there for. Grits! Give me the grits! While I was waiting for my order to arrive I did notice another server giving her table all the attention and courtesy she could muster. It was a large party that included 4 toddlers. It seemed the parents were happy to be out of the house because they were paying no attention to the kids! Crayons, eggs, small toys, napkins and a bunch of other things were being thrown back and forth. The server continued to smile during the entire time I was there. The table asked for water, she served it. They asked for more fruit, she served it. Not once did she seem annoyed or bothered. That was the serve I wish I had and because I didn't but could see how dedicated and committed she was to service and serving her table I tipped her instead of my server. She was grateful and it showed through the hug she gave me! I was grateful for the grits I received. We both left happy that day!!

Yelp
Attention all breakfast lovers! Flying Biscuit Cafe just launched a mouthwatering new menu featuring two must-try dishes: Churro French Toast and Steak Chilaquiles. Imagine thick slices of bread dipped in a cinnamon sugar batter, grilled to crispy perfection, then drizzled with warm chocolate sauce and topped with fresh, sliced bananas - that's the sweet symphony of their Churro French Toast. Craving something savory? The Steak Chilaquiles will tantalize your taste buds! Picture thick, homemade tortilla chips simmered in salsa verde, overflowing with melty queso, then topped with tender marinated steak, sunny-side up eggs, and a symphony of fresh flavors like white cheddar cheese, avocado, and cilantro. Of course, Flying Biscuit Cafe is still a haven for classic Southern breakfast comfort food. Their legendary buttermilk chicken tenders are even better when ordered extra hot. Don't forget their creamy mac and cheese, spicy vegan collard greens, the hearty Piedmont Omelet, and the delightful Mini Shrimp & Grits. Bonus tip: Select locations, like the Sandy Springs and Toco Hills locations offer adult beverages, including mimosa flights, for those who want to elevate their brunch experience. The service is always super friendly and fast, and the ambience is chill. Super friendly service and ambiance so relaxing. Flying Biscuit Cafe truly caters to all cravings, with breakfast and lunch available all day long. So, whether you're an early bird or a late riser, there's always a delicious reason to visit!

Yelp
This location of Flying Biscuit is poorly managed. Front door greetings are poorly executed. Customers are run away with over estimation of wait times. Service is slow as tables are not swiftly turned (cleaned). You have lost my business.

Laura S.

Yelp
Stopped in on a busy Saturday morning, we were seated immediately. The waitress was attentive and friendly. I had the garden veggie scramble with grits and a biscuit. I loved my meal and brought home half of it. The grits had great flavor! The scramble was packed with veggies.

Justin N.

Yelp
This was a good place for brunch but certainly not the craziest biscuit place we've been to. We'll be back any time we have guest but it's not necessarily our go to spot solely because of the wait. There's also not the most vegan options at this spot.

Sofia L.

Yelp
Absolute banger of a restaurant. Most people don't like FBC because they see it as a chain, but I think the menu has a wide variety to choose from and every thing I've gotten has always been good. Their prices are also pretty fair, this omelette was $12.99 and it was huge! Loved the biscuit bc it had a sugary topping and the home fries were great. always a good time at FBC

Sarah B.

Yelp
Good service I had takeout but was taken care of quickly even though no one answered phone for takeout pricing and flavor were amazing though tomatoes in grits is strange didn't ruin shrimp n grits on point!

Marv B.

Yelp
A amazing place for breakfast we had breakfast here a couple times the quality and customer service consistently was above par. It was by far one of the best places to eat in Altanta.

Asia E.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with breakfast here! Their grits are my favorite always served thick and creamy. I came on a Friday morning and was able to be seated right away as they weren't too busy. This location like many of the others cozy. I chose the Ga peach waffle breakfast which came with a full spread of 2 eggs, grits, biscuit, chicken sausage and waffle which were all delicious and a great value of under $20.

Brandon Y.

Yelp
Great food for the price. Eaten here a few times. Everything is pretty good. Especially like the grits! Chicken and Waffles were good as well

Carlie M.

Yelp
Good spot for breakfast and brunch! Liked this location because they have lots of free parking! Good breakfast and lunch options

Rae J.

Yelp
So glad a location opened over here! At times, I've ordered to go in advance, because this location can get pretty busy if you're coming at a peak time. It's a very lively space, but the menu is always consistent with traditional southern favorites, with plant based options.

Emma U.

Yelp
Delicious food, convenient location, and a great breakfast spot overall. The service was great, everyone was so sweet and our server checked on us often and kept us updated on the status of our food even though it wasn't taking long at all. The inside is small and cozy but it doesn't feel crowded. The menu is super fun with a ton of options to choose from and the food was quick to come out.

Bryan G.

Yelp
Came to get Breakfast on a Monday , we wait to get sat although the servers saw us waiting and eventually one of them came up to us and let us know it'll 25 min wait , the server suggested sitting at the bar although it was dirty , eventually the bartender came and told us that she will clean the bar , another couple came after and sat next to us , they got service right away , I let the bartender know we were ready , and responded with a "okay" and never came back , it's okay because it looked dirty and servers look miserable , would not recommend if your in a rush

Ashley K.

Yelp
First time trying this location and I throughly enjoyed the biscuits- also read as, I ORDERED AN EXTRA. Lol. I ordered the veggie scramble no mushrooms and it was good. Had to add a little hot sauce though but definitely satisfied my egg craving . The highlight of the meal was the biscuit with apple butter. So light and fluffy but thick and moist- man! I'm salivating just thinking about it. I forgot how much I loved bread lol. Open parking in the plaza with Publix off N Druid Hills. It's definitely small inside though and thankfully we sat at the bar where it was less crowded.

Yelp
As a faithful customer, I am writing because of my recent dissatisfying experience at the Flying Biscuit Toco Hills location. I come here often because the food is good and the service is usually decent as well. I recently came in after placing my online order to pick-up my food. Upon arrival, I was met by the receptionist, who gave me my food that was already waiting. The order was unfortunately incomplete, with a couple of items missing. I showed her my order receipt on my phone and she, confused, said it had not been entered into the system. She did not apologize for the mistake, but just proceeded to put in the order. Although it was not exactly her fault, I guess a little remorse would have been considerate. About 20 minutes later, as I was still waiting for my food, I asked Sophia for a complimentary drink for the inconvenience and she looked at me like I was crazy. She was clearly not doing it and said if I wanted that I would have to talk to the bartender. I went to the same receptionist because she was familiar with my situation already and she seemed to be helping others. I guess she did not want to help me. Needless to say, I had to explain the entire situation to the bartender who was unaware of the situation, and she kindly got me the drink. It was 30 minutes later. I waited around for about 10 more minutes before the unhelpful receptionist handed me my food as though nothing at all happened. I'm really disappointed by the lack of customer service and that I had to wait 40 minutes, while half of my order got cold waiting for the rest of my order to be prepared. The purpose of ordering online and picking up your food is to eliminate the process of waiting. Instead I had to wait a really long time for an order that was supposed to be ready and be treated poorly. I sent an email to the business two weeks ago and have had no response. I identified the receptionist in that email, but chose to not mention her name here.

Shelby F.

Yelp
Walked in to get a to go order, had to wait while several employees made eye contact with me but ignored me. Finally chased down someone to say I just needed to pick up my order. Rudest human ever, gives me my bag without one word. Joke of customer service. Also half of my order was missing, but I guess that's my fault for not checking before I got back home. So all in all, I spent $16 on a biscuit. And even tipped 20% for NOTHING. highly recommend stay away from this place.

Janae W.

Yelp
The service was subpar. The wait staff had no sense of urgency. The host literally walked off once I gave my pick up name and asked someone else to check on my order. Took them almost 30 minutes after the promised time to receive my order. Throughout my wait no one accommodated me, they kept getting my name wrong, and the kitchen also had no sense or urgency. I won't be coming back.

Imperial P.

Yelp
Stop by this location about once a month. Yesterday, I my first unpleasant experience. I will state they were clearly understaffed (I work in service on the side and understand this). What I do not undertand nor will I, is 9 people standing at the host stand and the host not acknowledging any of us for over 10 minutes. She saw us, walked by us numerous times and kept going. Ignoring guests soley because you are busy (mind you she was not rushing at all) is unacceptable. I'll visit the Candler Park venue next time and suggest that to the rest of my office.

Kathryn L.

Yelp
I did not move fast enough with my phone to snap pictures of everyone's food since they were being greedy due to the deliciousness...yet they know better :-) Although it was a To-Go order, Mel, the wonderful employee with her vibrant hair who was posted up at the Pick Up Window had such a dope vibe going on. She was extremely engaging & made sure her area stayed cleaned. I am starting to see many of the exteriors Pick Up Windows & absolutely here for it. I think it is a proactive effort of service for non-dining in people like myself...I am really trying. No shade to my normal spot at the Terminus, yet Mel & her co-workers are friendly, engaging & full of humor. They have turned this shopping plaza restaurant into a fun setting with a quaint patio set up, a few chairs for those To-Go orders & a fountain for the kiddies to splash in. Due to the limited options for the V Crew, I get the same thing - the Tofu Scramble, yet they have added a Beyond Burger to the menu, which goes to show the last time I've been to a FB. Nonetheless, the family enjoyed their Omelets, French Toast, Grits, Sausage & complimentary Bread. The only thing that missing from our order was the sides of fresh fruit. Eh, no worries, sharing a meal amongst my special people made up for it. Never a bad experience & glad I got to finally try this location. To note, FB uses all of the delivery platforms. Thanks again, Mel!

Sid B.

Yelp
Portions too big. Service good Had salmon scramble and cheesecake French toast. And iced hot chocolate All very good Parking is only difficulty

Catalina S.

Yelp
Every time we visit Atlanta we love to have breakfast at the flying biscuit cafe. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. You feel at home and the food is so good. Our server, Onarai, was so kind, friendly, just wonderful. She is happy and smiling loves her job and makes people feel great. Omar I believe is his name from corporate is just wonderful, friendly welcoming. They all work as a team.

Shantal H.

Yelp
I've been to Flying Biscuit numerous times. Each time has been pleasant: good service, good food, and great atmosphere. When you go, you have to try their grits! So creamy and perfectly seasoned. Some of the best I've had. This go around, I had their new stuffed French toast breakfast which comes with eggs, grits, chicken sausage, and a biscuit. To be honest, the stuffed French toast was just OK. I'll probably just stick with a classic breakfast next time.

Richie R.

Yelp
The place was clean and service was great! Waitstaff was on point and no issues there. The problem is the food is NOT GOOD. I had eggs that were overcooked, grits that lacked favor, potatoes that were dry, salty and looked reheated in a microwave. The bacon and biscuit was ok at best. It's been years since I've eaten here and this experience reminded me of why I don't eat here. Again, the waitstaff was great but they need a new executive chef ASAP!!!!!! Worst breakfast I've had in a while!

Christian Viveros

Yelp
Amazing service by Sydney! She was very professional and she gave great recommendations, super nice and friendly. Food was delicious, waffles and biscuits were so fluffy and sweet. Hosts were very welcoming and sweet too and the atmosphere just made us smile! 10/10

Cornell R.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Omelette are a great size with great taste, and the grits are unique and great as well. Definitely recommend

Kathleen L.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated inside. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. The bathrooms are kept cleaned with no contact utilities. Staff is very friendly and has a great vibe. Plenty of vegan options.

Kat G.

Yelp
In the past I've enjoyed the restaurant, but this time was not one of them. It's been some time since I've been in and this visit was a disappointment. Our server, Morgan, was great, quick and attentive. I order chicken and waffles, my husband grits and eggs. His meal was alright, nothing spectacular but hey, it's grits and eggs. My waffle was limp and unremarkable, no golden color and looked like an afterthought, but the three small chicken tenders on top were worse, dry and over cooked, even syrup wouldn't save them. Coffee was good however but not a reason to go back.

TJ G.

Yelp
The food was mediocre at best. I don't expect it to be a fancy restaurant but at least taste good. I got a steak and eggs that looked and tasted like rubber. Zero seasoning on my steak, and my eggs which were supposed to be over medium looked like they were over dropped and scrambled. The biscuit and grits were the only thing worth paying for in my meal. The service was extremely slow for a place that was empty when I got here. But they seemed very understaffed. My server was very nice and apologetic about the food. I appreciate the discount for the bad food.

Katherine E.

Yelp
This is a decent Flying Biscuit location, and even though I've never eaten outside at FB, the outdoor seating in this general area of the Toco Hills center is really nice. This location also has one of the bigger menus I've seen, and doesn't inflate prices on delivery apps (or at least, not a lot). I've mostly gotten delivery from here and it was super fast. Flying Biscuit is a chain, but one I've always had a soft spot for. Their grits are always 10/10, I actually like their biscuits a lot as well, and they're really affordable and various locations have been the morning after of lots of my adventures over the years. I will say this location seems short staffed sometimes when I'm there- I think it may also have to do with the layout making it hard to see the host stand from some parts of the restaurant. I waited at the stand once for like 5 minutes to order to go with no one talking to me, and ended up just leaving, but all places have off days. I'd say order to-go online if you're nearby, and it may be faster.

Grace L.

Yelp
Very standard brunch place located in the busy and cute Toco Hills center. The food is average, but they have a lot of variety in their menu. I would recommend the GA Peach waffle--the flavor was really good but the waffle quickly got mushy.

Crystal H.

Yelp
I come here often. Today i had the Piedmont omelette and it was great. I subbed the bacon for turkey bacon. Biscuits are yummy. My daughter ate two last time we came. The kids love the art on the walls.

Melanie B.

Yelp
Fun vibe with vibrant decor and upbeat music. I ordered the Hot Chicken and Waffles with a side of bacon. The bacon was deliciously crisp and full of flavor. The waffle was delightfully sweet and fluffy. The chicken was definitely spicy but the temp was cold. It threw me off. Service was average overall. We arrived at 9:30 am before the rush. By 10:30 am there was a line out the door. I'd definitely return to give this spot another try.

Benjamin L.

Yelp
This was a disappointing version of the original. The service was good, but for a place that took our cell to text us when our 45 minute anticipated wait would be up, maybe they could dip the French toast slices for even 4.5 seconds rather than simply fry bread. It was terrible. And the eggs on my plate were cold. The grits and bacon and sausage were hot and fine, but that adds up to a lousy, haphazardly prepared breakfast not worth a return trip.

Mykel U.

Yelp
I waited 1 hr to just be seated Rushed into ordering drinks without no drink menu. Got drinks and ordered food since I frequent the other location I know most of the menu. Server was over booked and gave the attention she could give while no one wanted to help her resulting in our food taking another hour to reach the table. By the time the food came out it was somehow cold and burnt at the same time. Server and manager blamed kitchen. Needless to say I'm never visiting this establishment again in the future. I was super disappointed because this was one of my guilty pleasure restaurants. To the manager trying to ease the experience with a tiny discount it wasn't enough to make up for the time wasted and horrific food quality issues.

Miranda G.

Yelp
We enjoyed our brunch at Flying Biscuit. They have a large menu so there's something for everyone! Portion sizes were large and the food was delicious. Service was generally quick, attentive, and accommodating. It was pretty busy on a Saturday morning but everything was great! Would recommend this fun, easy going restaurant.

Jason H.

Yelp
Never again. My wife and I have eaten here many times, we live around the corner. I cannot count the number of times they have gotten my order wrong. This most recent time, the manager did not take responsibility and he failed at his job. Lazy and unprofessional is what I get from this location and will never eat there again. Candler Park location where I grew up is the place to go.
