The Fold Kitchen

To start: the pizza was tasty and no complaints. The bottom was a little overdone. We did a simple build your own with mushroom and olives. The salad was standard. The server and staff were very nice. The reason for the rating: we arrived at 6ish pm, were seated, ordered food. The salad came out reasonably, and then there was an odd 40-45 min of no service and no sign from wait staff. We waited so long the ranch on our plate was dry. Our server didn't check on us in that entire time, and when our food came out, there was no mention of the long wait, no apology or acknowledgement, which leads me to believe that is normal wait time for pizza. If you have small children, probably bring them a snack or some sort of entertainment since you will be waiting a while for your meal.

Having a party of 10 we sat in the patio. Our server was attentive and friendly, my brothers love to joke and she was jovial in return. The pizza selection was great for both a traditional as well as unique variety. We also got a shareable Arugula and Burrata salad was absolutely fresh and flavorful! My favorite of the pizza selection was the Hula Girl. We also ordered the Pepperoni and the Meat Sweat. The brothers didn’t love the type of sausage on the Meat Sweat but it was no slices left so it must have been pretty good! 😌 Also, if you are eating to split pizzas up might want it double cut. Akin to the restaurant name “the fold” the typical slice is hefty and big enough to fold. Bright contrasting flavors on the salad and textures on the Hula Girl. That’s worth the 5 ⭐️ s😋 yum!!

Took us 2 hours to get two pizzas. Our waitress never came around to offer refills on our drinks. We didn’t even have the basic table fare until after our food arrived. The food WAS good however the service has to be the absolute top 10 worst I’ve ever experienced. If you value your time do not eat here. Ever.

Our family heard the Fold had great pizza so we went in with high expectations and I'm glad to say we were not disappointed. The kids ordered slices and the adults ordered the Bee Sting and a couple salads. We also ordered fries for the group. Everything was extremely good. Nice to have a great place to go so close to where we were staying.

My wife an I went here multiple nights in a row. Bee sting pizza is outstanding. Cocktails were insanely good, especially the "huckleberry mule." We couldn't believe a pizza place made cocktails that good. We had our dog with us but they only allow service dogs. So, one of their employees eagerly set up a couple of chairs outside and gave our dog a water bowl. He made us our drinks and accommodated our very specific food requests. He was clearly seasoned at his job and we had a fantastic experience because of it.

They appeared to possibly be understaffed, and the staff seemed to wish customers would disappear. We arrived 50 min before closing and waited over 20 minutes with no acknowledgment. Tables were half empty, and there seemed to be 3 servers and a bar tender. Finally, we approached a server and asked if they were still seating. He seemed flustered by the question, waved us away, and said to ask someone else. Nobody would make eye contact with us, and it was really a horrible experience. We waited a while longer until we realized we weren't going to be able to get food anywhere soon as it was getting late. Their food smelled good, but I'm not sure I would try them again. Also, we were not the only customers who received this rude behavior. If they were not able to service clientele, they needed to let them know or close early.

Fold Craft is a pizza place that ran out of pepperoni and sausage or lighter beers in peak summer season, and took 65 minutes to provide a take out cheese pizza after assuring 40 max. They are understaffed and the lack of food/inventory and turnaround suggests a management team only equipped for October to May, minus ski season, and not up to snuff during peak summer tourism. Really disappointing because pizza was pretty good, but execution was bad. Kids were hungry, and fold craft changed my order twice over 30 minutes before starting my order. Also served their friends before other customers who were waiting longer, which is a pizza foul. Bummer.

Stopped in after swimming up the road, we were greeted by a friendly server who ended up taking great care of us. My pizza was hot, loaded with pepperoni & a generous portion! Highly recommend if your looking for a fast & quality by the slice of pizza!!

Once again, on a Tuesday night at 630 pm, online ordering is shut down so we call but it's busy so we drive over to order 3 pizzas and are told no, maybe later. I like their pizza but you simply cannot trust them to be open and available when you need them. I'd gotten used to that on Friday and Saturday, but now on a Tuesday?

Great pizza! Service not so much, staff tells me it's "so illegal to do that" Drinking a local beer on a private property resort apparently only this can be illegal in Oregon, but using fentanyl and weed is not???? I came in to pick up a pizza not sit down at a table to eat.... Dumb founded! Did I mention the Great White pizza is bomb!

I've been to this location over the last 20+ years with the various businesses that have occupied the space and I think the theme/ambience/whatever you want to call it with the Fold is the best I've seen. Industrial, I like it. Anyway, we ordered the Meat Sweats pizza (great name!) and the Folded Buffy and a raspberry lemonade (yum). The pizza looked great and according to my husband, was one of his favorite pizzas he's had in a long while. I love a pepperoni with a bit of crunch after it is cooked. The fold was good, however, with all the mentions of garlic, it really could have been more garlicky. I come from a family of garlic lovers and let me tell you, if you're going with this idea, you can do more! But the concept of these folds is funny, can't believe I haven't seen it before. Take the pizza crust, throw your toppings on and roll it. Ta-da! Basically a calzone. No complaints here. The main reason this isn't 5 stars is that service was a smidge lacking. Namely, they weren't slammed busy in the in-house eating area, I saw 3-4 employees behind the counter a few times that could have been more actively assisting the dine-in clientele and they weren't. Not sure what was going on there. We would have had additional drinks if there had been more attention. More drinks means more spent which means bigger tips typically. But our server was nice and helpful, even covered herself well when it was clear our order of garlic knots had been forgotten (we ended up getting them after our entrees). Anywho, definitely would return!

We went here during our Sunriver vacation in July. First of all, we go to Sunriver almost every year so I'm not sure why we have not tried this place until this past summer. Anyways, I'm glad we finally checked it out. The location could not be any better. You know the saying....location, location, location--right in the heart of where everyone goes out to eat and shop. It's a great hangout for some pizza and beer! I like the fact that it's spacious and clean inside. I really like the ambiance. We were seated right away. Our waiter was very pleasant and immediately asked about our drink preferences. I really love how they have different designs on the plates they give to each person. They're not the boring plain white plates you get at most restaurants. Just something that caught my attention. I love it! Their fries are really good! So good, we ordered a second order and fyi...they give a lot of fries. Their pizza is also quite delicious! We will definitely go back here next summer!

The Sweet Cheesus pizza is wonderful! It is full of flavor and not too cheesy. Great crust as well. Highly recommend!

Absolutely excellent pizza. It's not your typical Round Table or Domino's style, but that should be a huge positive. Blondie's is still a Sunriver pillar, but do not sleep on this place.

This review is a little bit overdue. I don't think twice about going to the Fold for pizza or anything from. They're not huge but creative menu. Literally the best arugula salad I've ever had. Mild, not better arugula, with some kind of blackberry or Marion berry dressing and giant sweet berries, dropped like pillows of heaven on granola for ( croutons!?). The pizza has crust that is worth eating, more than enough cheese, which I never thought I'd say that ... and a sauce that is flavorful and not just sour tomato's that are b grade turned to sauce to save the crop. Our table ordered about six different pizzas and they all looked fabulous. The restaurant is in a resort called Sunriver and I don't know if people go there just to eat unless they're staying at the resort. But I have to tell you I would and maybe this is the only place that I would drive there to eat at out of all of them. Check the hours, but if they're open and you're nearby definitely go you won't be disappointed . Shout out to the staff, they were hard-working and super patient. Despite the horrible smoke outside from the fires they were all working with smiles on their face. Well done Fold and thank you for being the best meal at the resort!

Ok, I've been through this rodeo before. You look up a restaurant, the pictures and food look amazing but most of the reviews are either very critical or just down right cringe. For me personally I saw a mixture of reviews for this restaurant, and being the spontaneous pizza loving person I am, I decided to give the Fold a try. And boiii I'm so happy I did! Fist of all when I arrived I was seated immediately, I mean this lady could have been Dash Incredible herself. I was greeted by my lovely server within less then five minutes of being there, we got our drinks and began discussing the absolutely fabulous looking menus items, I mean I was pretty much salivating by reading the descriptions of the pizzas and observing others food. By the time our server blair arrived we had made our decision. Caesar salad, pepperoni, bee sting, and a G.O.A.T. After ordering we discussed various world issues while eagerly waiting for our pizza. We had a discussion with our amazing server Blair about one of these world issues: "what is your favorite pumpkin spice treat or product?" I asked her. She was a-bit taken aback and had to think about it for a few minutes, finally she recommended a maple latte at local coffee shoppe Brewed Awakenings and the baked goods from local resident and baker (https://www.facebook.com/treelinebakingco). After our discussion with Blair our food arrived. And I do t think I've ever seen prettier pizza in my life! I'll gevum style points for sure. But, let's talk about taste. I'd give the pepperoni a solid 8/10 it's a classic and I honestly don't personally believe pep deserves more. For the Bee Sting I'd give bout 8.6/10 only because they forgot to add the chili honey. But if you order this pizza GET IT WITH THE MEAT BALLS! And that's coming from someone who didn't like meat balls. For the G.O.A.T. I'd give a 10/10 the flavor combination and quality of ingredients is just *chefs kiss*. The only thing I could critique about my food experience here was the kitchen forgot to make our Caesar, or it was accidentally brought to another table or, idk something. However they did end up bringing it out after awhile and took it off our bill. Ok we've talked about food, service, friendliness. Now let's talk price. Incredibly adorable for a family of for we order 2 pizzas and between us 5 soda fountain beverages. And our total came out to around $60 dollars! And we had leftovers! I know it's been along journey for you, and I thank you for sticking with me up until the end. For the 3 of you still here lest end this review by talking about vibe. The atmosphere of this restaurant is a solid 10/10 and I may be a lil biased because I'm a hardcore plant lady. There was a nice array of foliage including spider plant, monsteras and I believe there was even a fiddle leaf fig in the corner (if you know you know). I would just like to thank our lovely server Blair for making our experience so amazing. I don't think this review would be here if it wasn't for her. Omg! Get the Bee Sting pizza. It was awesome. The staff was nice and they are at number 18 on the map of Sunriver.

Excellent service. Great outdoor seating w pkenty of heat lamps if needed. Ot hee reviewers are spot on re fries. So fresh. Soo good. Soo much. You cld order fries and a beer and that wld be a great meal for 2! Ask for the cilantro ranch w them!! Got bee sting n margarita pizzas too. Both amazing as stated by other reviewers. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. The bee sting is an amazing mixture of different flavors. The honey drizzle on top just pulls it all together. Wow!! The tomatoes sauce tomatoes cheese n basil on marg pizza were piping hot and amazing!! They don't skimp at this place. Come hungry!!

Our family of seven were all impressed, even the baby, who is teething but thoroughly enjoyed getting to chew on a piece of crust. We ordered four pizzas, a shared salad, and drinks. The pizza was delicious, and we were happy we ordered more than enough to have leftovers that night. I've never had pizza from NY, but I imagine that is what these pizzas are like. Service was friendly and fast. It was quite warm inside, so I would recommend sitting outdoors on a nice day.

This was our favorite meal while in Sunriver! Bonus, the staff was incredibly friendly and personable! We had the green beans, best fries in town, simple green salad and meatball sandwich! It was all delicious! We also tried both gin drinks and their version of a whiskey sour...fantastic!! We are here on our last day in town so, sadly, we couldn't come back to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

So good!! Pleasantly surprised. The crust is crispy and not heavy. It's not a little ceasars doughy soggy pizza. This is light and fresh with lots of herbs. Do yourself a favor and don't forget the ranch dressing!! The ranch is so herby and different than any ranch I've tasted. It's definitely made in house. We will be coming back.

For Sunriver, this place was awesome! The cocktails were generous and creative, the service (we love Kay!) was friendly and personable, and the food was tasty. The only thing was that it did take a lot of time to get our food, but Kay was so apologetic and gave us free drinks, so we didn't mind at all! Food: we got the Caesar salad, which was tangy and a good start. We got the Bee Sting pizza, which I thought was okay, but the husband really loved (and it was really more his kinda pie). Sunriver doesn't have a lot of great restaurants. I could see this being an amazing option in the ski season. We'll definitely be back here!

Everything is salty and oily. The pizza we had, a cheese with tomatoes was very greasy, had water on top, and was soggy on the bottom. The idea that you should fold pizza is true of NYC style thin crust. This place isn't like that. Here ya need to wad it into a ball because it's so soggy. We also tried the Brussels, which were too salty and swimming in oil. Overall, it wasn't very good. Wouldn't come back.

Been here many times and always loved it. My only complaint at the time was the pepperoni would be very greasy/oily. It would pour off my pizza. Since then they seemed to have changed to another smaller type of pepperoni which is so much better and leaner. Please stay with this style, it is awesome. All the other types of pizza I have had have been great too. Look forward to coming back !!. The lunches and happy hours are great as well.

Zipped in for dinner and grabbed some pizzas and beer. It's the shoulder season so everyone is working with limited staff and closes as 8. That was the case here as well. We tried to respect that and showed up with enough time to eat and get out. Not everyone was as courteous and the staff was cool about it and didn't make a big deal when someone showed up at 7:45. We took a seat, ordered some pizzas and beer. We got a Sweet Cheesus and Bee Sting. The folded pizzas looked good to. That bee sting was awesome, perf can balance of sweet, savory and spicy. The sweet chesus hit the spot as well. Really solid pizza here, worth checking out if you are in town.

Awesome pizza place with great salads and pizza! Our waiter recommended Fun-Guy pizza with mushrooms and it was outstanding. Great service and wonderful atmosphere!! We will be back!

Great folds which are basically sandwiches. However the service was awful. We never got one pizza and we wait an hour and a half.

Came here for dinner the night we arrived in Sunriver. Got the folded Buffy sandwich and it was super tasty!

We ordered the Crowdpleaser Caesar, the Brussel sprouts, and a Hawaiian pizza. It was $48 before tip and $55 with tip. It was a takeout order picked up and we started eating it within 10 minutes of "ready" time, so minimal travel decay. The Brussels were the equivalent of charcoal. No green left inside. Just char. We picked out a few soggy pieces of bacon and dates, but largely could not eat. The salad, which was GORGEOUS in the pictures on the website, was even more disappointing. It was a few pale leaves with a large handful of breadcrumbs thrown in. It was edible, technically, but was the kind of salad that people who don't like salad complain about. It was also a "side salad "size, not the size that could be a meal by itself, which we assumed it would be based on the price. The pizza was the winner. You judge pizza by the crust and this crust tasted like it had sat under a warmer all day and gone stale. The components of a Hawaiian pizza were all there and the pepperoni "cupped", but the flavors weren't melding the way they should in truly great pizza. It reminded me of the $5 Tuesday pizzas I got in my college days not long ago. This was the most disappointing meal I've had in memory. At least since the world ended... Cannot recommend. Will not go back. Sad.

The Fold was a good stop after a long day of skiing. Our server was very friendly, which was a highlight of our visit. The dining atmosphere is great! Loved the natural light and the window alcoves and thought the barrels were fun decorations that doubled as pizza stands in some cases. The meatball folded pizza was yummy, though I was disappointed there wasn't more meat--it seemed like I could go 3-5 bites without anything but cheese and crust. I'd like to go back, but I'd probably try something else next time.

Been coming to sunriver for years. Was pleasantly surprised to see a new pizza place. Menu looked really good. So good that I actually forgot to read reviews before we went tonight. My wife is an east coast pizza snob and really liked the Funguy mushroom pizza. I loved my simple pepperoni and sausage. Kids were big fans too. The Brussels sprouts and kale Cesar were also excellent. Definitely pricey but that's to be expected here. Will definitely come back.

I was staying in Sunriver for the labor day weekend and on the way out, I wanted to see what their pizza offerings were. This looked like a nice modern but standard pizza place - more than a local joint, and with some artistry, but not crazy. It was fantastic. I do consider myself a pizza snob and as an east coast native, i do tend to favor that foldable slice. I was hoping the name would deliver and oh yeah, it did. This is the kind of pizza I want. Great crust, variety of toppings, awesome cheese blend. If you want light on cheese it might not be the best choice, but I will take all the problems that come with it! I haven't tried enough in downtown Bend to say how it compares overall to the area, but from what I have done and seen I think it has to rate pretty high. There are a lot of great options in Portland near where I live but I would go to this place again if it was near me. Also random notes: there is a full bar. And the bathrooms have a little tribute to Anthony Bourdain which is cool.

I don't know how this place isn't higher rated.. phenomenal pizza, beer and wings. Great service, great salad dressings, great ambiance.. give this place a try

We arrived at 7:55. Waited for 5 minutes to be seated only to find out they wouldn't seat us. They say they are open till 8:30??? If they won't seat at 8:00 then say your only open till 8:00. The person who told us was very rude and inconsiderate. So disappointed in a people business that treated us so disrespectful. We are local Sunriver residents and have eaten here before. Food is average at best and a little over priced but it's close. Will not go back and will tell all our neighbors. So disappointed.

The pizza took forever and was burnt. My son ordered the "famous fries" I think the menu said world famous battered fries, not sure what world they were in but Mc Donald's are better. The servers appeared to want to talk to one another rather than pay attention to the customers. My daughter in law ordered one of the folded sandwiches, it was big and the insides were good but the bread part was burnt. Two burnt pizzas and a burnt sandwich, The toppings on the pizzas was good under the burnt. Since everything seemed to be burnt I'm almost wondering if they did it deliberately and if so they should also tell people. The Burnt Fold pizza and kitchen.

The pizza was good. We came in on a Friday and said they were full because of reservations. So we made one for the next day at 5:30. The food was nice, but we waited almost 20 minutes for a check after we ate and no refills on water or a check in at that time. It would've been okay if there were other folks in the restaurant, but there was only one other party. Darn.

Was excited to try this, the pictures looked great, and had heard good things. In our party, we got two Bee Stings, two maple wings and a meatball folded. The meatball folded lacked flavorful meatballs and the cheese didn't really pop, so it fell flat. The Bee Stings were great flavor wise, but a couple small issues. One had way too much liquid on it, it was pooling in different places. The other issue with both pizzas was the crust in the middle was so wet that the dough never expanded, it was just a floppy uncooked mess. We had to eat the middle with a fork, as it would have been physically impossible to fold it without the toppings falling everywhere. I can't tell if the oven wasn't hot enough or if there just was just too much liquid for the dough to cook. The service was good, wait staff was friendly and fast, the only other issue was that we had ordered a salad that never came. There were a few more pizzas I'd like to try, so I'll definitely be back, and hoping that the other pizzas the crust is a little more done on the inside.

The food was so good. The waiter was great, they had a full bar. The only thing missing was a kids menu, but they had pizza, can't get much more kid friendly than that. I had one of their fold sandwiches, it was killer, and their ranch dressing was next level. We will be back!

Bee sting was on point. Our waitress was super cool and professional. She made some great recommendations and the food was brought out promptly and perfectly hot. Do yourself a favor and try one of the unique pies they make.

Service was outrageous, 3 other groups came in after and got their food and drinks before us. The ambiance was fine clean just would like better service for a good time.Food was fine just better service next time might be more accommodating.

Tastiest breadsticks! I could stop there, because I'd come back just for those. We ordered a pretty wide spread - 2 different salads, 2 pizzas, and 2 "folds". The salads were both fresh, and the house-made Caesar and Champaign vinaigrette dressings were great! The Sweet Cheesus has delicious, stretchy burrata cheese and Hula Girl doesn't just include pineapple, it features large chunks of it. The Fold looks like a pizza in hogie form! But yeah, order the breadsticks. Maybe twice.

Incredible service! The food was incredible and the drinks were even better! The entire vibe of the restaurant is just perfect, very classic, rustic with the perfect amount of modern! Will come back!

Dinner for 4 adults and 4 kids was $400, tip was included $60 for bad service, we had to go to the bar to get our own drinks, dinner took 2 hours start to finish. Save your money and time. Go to sunriver brewing.

We got ours to go and we loved it! Some of the best pizza we've had in a long time. Got arancini, chicken wings, and lots of pizza!

Great overall. Delicious pizza as was the salad we had. Server was especially friendly and attentive. Would go again next time we are in the area.

So this is our first time going out to this place in Sunriver and for the amount of money we paid and the dirtiness of the place as well not to mention we waited over a half an hour and our pizza apparently ripped in the oven so they have to remake it now and all they could say is sorry for the inconvenience the forks are all made from China mismatching plates the cups are the only thing that are on point this butter knives that they supplied are totally different ones huge one small and the pizza sausage provided as well tastes like it's just out of a regular tomato can the ranch is some funky with it products and I thought companies were supposed to use industrial cleaners oh never mind they're using Dollar tree clean product back to the original the pizza is garbage it just like all the toping just slid right off we have to use our silverware to scoop the sides back on it is way too greasy way too greasy and the actual taste of the pizza was completely disgusting and there was no sauce and we had to wait extra time for our pizza for a $45 pizza that is no bigger than a small Figaro's Pizza

I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is trendy but laid back, the waitress was nice and my kids loved the "paws" channel they had playing on the TV. However, we were super disappointed in the food. The fries were good- but thats about it. Pepperoni Pizza was so overloaded with cheese that the pizza was soaked in grease to the point that the bottom of the crust was soaking wet. My kids wouldn't eat it and my stomach hurts after a slice. My husband was equally disappointed in the meatball sandwich as they tasted like frozen meatballs. For the price, we expected higher quality food. We also thought it was odd the food all came out at various times. First the fries, 10 minutes later my husband's sandwich, 15 minutes later our pizza. We might try again in the future but surely hope they improve their food quality.

Really enjoyed our meal here! The salad was huge and the honey sausage and mushroom pies were delicious! We devoured the mushroom one and most of the salad at the restaurant, and took the rest of our salad and other pie to our lodge room for a scrumptious vacation breakfast the next morning. More cushions for the window nooks please!

I ordered a pepperoni and Olive Pizza. When I got home I realized it pepperoni and green olives. Who the hell puts green olives on pizza, it's not a martini. Back to Blondies for our next pizza

Yummy pizza! I asked our server what was the best thing to order here. He said the pepperoni pizza. He said people are always disappointed when he says that. We trusted his recommendation and it was delicious. Sometimes the simple dishes are the best.

Pizza was excellent! We ordered the mushroom pizza and it was very good. The salad was good as well, fun place highly recommend. Friendly quick service.

Ate dinner recently with family, a couple of kids with food allergies. They were very careful to work with these allergies and served a delicious dinner. We had cesar and mixed green salads, a cheese pizza (great) and some wings and the buttered (for us olive oil) noodles (another hit with kids. Wife ordered the fried dough dessert which I wasnt a fan of. Overall, best meal we had in Sunriver and the service from everyone was some of the best ever.

We ate here a couple of times and were not impressed. No atmosphere and their version of pizza is mediocre at best. Some folks like the way they make it but we didn't care for it. We are locals and generally avoid this place with our guests.
