The Food Hall

This place has changed over the past year or so. It still has dine-in seating, and workers are quick to clean tables after patrons leave. There's a Mulan dim sum takeout open til 3pm daily, a bubble tea shop, Korean fried chicken, sushi (weekdays only), a traditional Korean takeout, and two more shops that I can't recall currently. Lighting is dim though.

I haven't been here in a while and was delightedly surprised to see how much renovation as gone into this location. The architecture is outstanding, modern, and all around beautiful. There's a great variety of food stalls offering authentic asian cuisine, satisfying everyone's cravings. The only downside is the limited seating, though given that indoor dining isn't currently an option, that's not much of a problem right now.

A good well spread out hall for large groups. Buffet was generous and varied.

The individual vendors are fine but the food court itself is unusual. They have really nice facades to make the space look modern, but the roof was leaking into a bucket. They have an elderly person that doesn’t speak English well checking receipts by hand at the restroom instead of a code. They do not actually have someone cleaning the restrooms and they are filthy. While I was leaving the staff were yelling at a child that was trying to enter the restroom who didn’t understand that they wanted him to have a receipt in hand. There are several tea vendors and empty vendor spaces, so not a lot of actual food options. Almost every vendor in the food court has other locations nearby.

They have various food stalls where you can have an appetizer at one, an entree, and dessert for after. Even some bubble tea to go. We only had the buns at Long Jie and the Ice cream at Taiyaki. I wish there was a little more variety in the food stalls. There's a lot of space to sit and dine though, so that's a plus.

A little bit of different tastes for everyone.

I remembered coming here during my junior and senior high school years when I went to the Mega Academy nearby. The place has many different stalls and restaurants. During those times, I would usually eat at the Ajisen ramen or lamian place. During my undergraduate years, I went to the Spring Shabu place upstairs where I had to use a different enterance. The place was buzy.

Another great food hall at center of Flushings. This one is a bit more western friendly than New World food court while still relatively legit. There are plenty of tables & chairs inside with a small cleaning crew that kept things tidy. We felt safe in there. There were enough varieties such as korean Tofu/chicken, sushi, dimsum which actually looked really good, kungfu tea & bobba, soft served matcha ice cream in taiyaki, etc... The range of hardcored Chinese cuisine is limited compared to New World food court but still respectable.

新年快乐 almost my Piggy New Year ::oink oink:: The weather was sunny and slightly warmer than these past few days. I came here today to show my support for Black Label Donuts's Pop Up at this food court! My friend and I waited over 2 hours as we inch by inch got up to the register. I saw many of my peeps such as Raymart (luckily was the first batch of people to get their hands on BLD's donuts), bumped into Lesie, and Lillian (so sweet to offer us samples of her 5 Spice Chocolate Hot Cake Donut and Rosemary Lemon Olive Oil Hot Cake Donut...thank you darling) + Harris. This was an enormous turnout and the line was all the way from the bottom of steps by the elevators and side doors of Queens Crossing. When we were so close, someone came over with a sampling tray of 5 Spice Chocolate and Raspberry Chocolate. I liked the Raspberry Chocolate ::sad face:: the last one went home with someone that was ahead of us and another couple. I got a hug from my friend Richard Eng, the magnificent creator of Black Label Donuts. My friend ordered Honey Crisp Chai Hot Cider...beautiful presentation and don't cover it with a lid...I had a sip of hers...very refreshingly tasty I got a Matcha Pistachio Old Fashioned (couldn't try because of my allergies), a 5 Spice Chocolate, and a Rosemary Lemon Olive Oil (I preferred this one over the lemon curd one). I love his donuts with a filling more but the hot cake donuts were yummy especially Rosemary Lemon Olive Oil! This coming July will be marking the 3 years that I have been a fan of Black Label Donuts woooohoooooooo! I love coming here the places of food and desserts are 10/10 also you can sit inside or out. They also have a store that has skin care and another that carries toys , socks , things for the house. I highly recommend to come here.

We had a huge heaping of Taiwanese fried chicken with a bit of stewed preserved cabbage and fatty pork over rice. Was enormous and fed 2 hungry people for a good 2-3 hours. Located right next to black label donuts, where I was only able to witness them prepping for tomorrow's huge lines.

Food court is pretty decent here! It was quite a surprise to see an expansion of the food court! At one point, it was just the area where Kung Fu Tea and Ajimen Ramen was. I remember my college days just hanging out here for lunch or dinner. The expansion brought another favorite bubble tea of mind, Happy Lemon. Get the Fresh Lemon series ones! Ok Lah had been a standard healthy plate choice for me when I am looking for something hearty to take home. I love their mac salad, hanger steak, and salmon. At one point, they had Young Street Poke but apparently it is gone now (thanks Jando for the heads up! :P).

Awesome spot in Queens that we stumbled upon! Although when we went (Saturday 630pm) a few of the shops were closed. :( The shops that were open were great though. We had bubble tea bc we just finished dinner somewhere else and also visited the accessory store. I'll definitely be back when all the shops are up and running! I love seeing more food halls popping up!

The place has changed a lot since it was opened years ago. And few stores has changed, but trashy people are still hanging out at the place for few hours everyday. They don't buy anything at all and ask the paying customers for receipts to use the bathrooms. I'm referring to the people who are waiting for the casino buses and few other trashy people... I feel it's very degrading for the place to have those people.

Really cool place to hang out and eat, variety of food from Japanese, korean, chinese, hot pot and bubble teas. It's clean and the atmosphere is good.
