We had a great time at The Forge! We arrived early and there was no one in the restaurant, so we decided to have a drink at the bar. Once we were seated 30 minutes later, the restaurant began to fill up. We were greeted by our server Richard. He truly made our experience memorable! He asked for our names, addressed us by our names throughout the evening, asked us how many years we were married since we were there for our anniversary which was later presented on our dessert, and made an attempt to get to know us without smothering us. We loved his service. The food was delicious! We both had steak and they were cooked to perfection. We later ordered our dessert which was good, but kind of hard to eat because the bottom later of cookie was very hard. They even wrote Happy Anniversary on the plate for us! You have to check out the bathrooms- they are very unique! The women's restroom has a full makeup/hair seating area in front of the mirrors, and the bathroom itself was very well kept. They had a DJ the evening we went, playing current classy "hits" and it was a fun environment, not stuffy like some high end restaurants. If you are visiting Miami, I'd highly recommend The Forge, and request Richard Delabatt to be your server!
