We really enjoyed the atmosphere and asked to be seated at an outdoor table. Our appetizer the Florida Coconut Shrimp was delicious and the mango salsa had great flavor and nice slow heat. We all got Mahi, one sand-which and two Caribbean Mahi platters. The dishes had great flavor but all the Mahi steaks were overcooked and dried out particularly in the thicker end of the cut. For the price the cook should have been spot on but was disappointing. Our service was mediocre. Overall there are lots of options locally we likely won’t be back.

Google
It was a wonderful restaurant. Our waiter was amazing. And the man with the white hair was so charming oh my goodness! I am so happy I came with my friend here tonight! We had the calamari, the chips and dip, the fried shrimp, and the mushrooms. Everything was cooked perfectly. Not only that, they have great music also I was jamming lol! I hope everyone that either served or helped us tonight have a wonderful new year. Thank you!🙏🏾❤️

We went in on Sunday and were impressed with the menu. I had the Eggs Benedict with potatoes and asparagus. It was tasty but a little cold. My husband had the chicken and waffles and it was great, son had the French dip with the onions & peppers (up charge) and he enjoyed it. All in all, the food was good but it could have been better. Loved the decor in the restaurant and it really was a beautiful place in a great location. Our server was friendly but kept pushing extras a bit too much.

Google
The service was outstanding. The hostess was super sweet. Our servicer was very nice and so attentive. We went for brunch. The food was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles. He has the Caribbean Mahi With Pineapple Salsa with unlimited mimosas. We shared the cinnamon rolls.

Google
Foundry i like the atmosphere. Our experience, the waiter took long to take our orders. Drinks my husband enjoy. Sorry i'm not a drinker anymore of alcohol. Wish more of the restaurant do mocktails drinks. For our appetizer, the spinach dip order was taken, but the appetizer came 10 mins apart from the entrée. Which was not good. Our food experience, did not like the taste. The Caribbean Mahi was to dry for me. And the Tequila lime Chicken was ok. But not yummy. Wish the food was great. I don't like to do, the been there done that. You do want a restaurant where the food was great and you want to go back for more. Maybe I will try something else.

Google
I would like to commend Yasin A for providing exceptional service during our visit. He was attentive, personable, and truly made our dining experience memorable. My family and I drove three hours specifically to dine at this restaurant, and his professionalism and engaging personality made it well worth the trip. This man deserves a reward !

Google
Came back a few months later Service was still great food was a little less exciting but still good Stuffed mushrooms were canned mushrooms which ruined it for me a little. But the truffle fries got me back Jan 2025 Ashley our server was the star of the show ! she gave extra good attention to our group and we all left feeling a little special with all our food and drink needs met personal favorite of the night was the blackened shrimp . they don't serve it alone so I got it on a salad. the Brie was good but the buratta better the calamari I didn't love per say will come back

Google
This was a great place for dinner! Atmosphere was unusual, based on an industrial atmosphere - very cool. Service was excellent, as well as the food. Definitely planning to return here in the future!

Yelp
The Foundry never disappoints. I had the sushi stack, and it was absolutely delicious -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was perfectly balanced and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, making it a great spot for a relaxed night out or a special dinner. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food, great ambiance, and a place I'm always happy to come back to.

Yelp
Some friends and I were looking for a good lunch spot in the area and this place came to mind as I've heard some good things about it, so we decided to give it a try this past Sunday. The restaurant is in a great location, very clean and just a really good vibe. When we sat and started looking over the menu we were a little confused as when we were driving we checked out the website for the menu, but things were not the same once getting there. We asked the staff if there was another menu and they told us they couldn't give it to us until 3pm and unfortunately what we wanted to order wasn't actually available at the time we went, but that was never specified on the website. Nonetheless, we ordered our food, our wing appetizer came out, but we still hadn't received any silverware or napkins since we were seated so we had to ask for that. Wings were very good. When our main dishes came out everything looked very good. Once we started to eat, there was an agreeance that the brussel sprouts were lacking flavor aside from the glaze, but were very bland. The pesto chicken sandwich was also very underwhelming. I think with the confusion of the menu and the food, I was a little let down. I'm not sure if this was just an issue of getting the wrong things, but I would give this place another shot, maybe at a different time of day. This time it just didn't do it for me.

Yelp
Excellent happy hour. They have $7 wine, shots and mojitos. We particularly enjoyed their cucumber mojitos and house Cabernet. I am very picky about my wines and I can tell you their wine passed the test. We sat at the bar for fast service. Our food took maybe 10 minutes to come out. Wings: 4/5 Fries: 2.5/5 (very thin and crunchy) Cucumber mojito: 5/5 Burger Sliders: 1.5/5 Overall, great experience. Great spot to eat at. Looking forward to trying more things on their menu.

Yelp
Updating my 1st review. Came for brunch with my ladies group. Rebecca greeted me & showed me to the area with our lovely tables. We were a group of 25. Service was excellent. Was told they are working on a new menu. I was extremely impressed with my breakfast bowl & I saw a lot of the other food coming out. Lobster Benedict was a special & the lady that ordered it, said it was delicious. Rebecca also helped some of my ladies with the parking app. As to pay by phone! This is going to be a regular rotation for brunch with my group!!! It was so much fun!!! Thank you Frank & staff!!!

Yelp
Saw this amazing art sculpture from the road and decided to check it out. Here is some information regarding it - The owner of The Foundry Grieco had known of Furnari's work for 10 years, and has been wanting a "Lunch" sculpture since day one of The Foundry. Now, Furnari has brought The Foundry a massive sculpture of a famous black-and-white photograph taken on Sept. 20, 1932. The image shows 11 ironworkers perched high above the bustling streets of New York City having a lunch break atop a steel beam on the 69th floor of the Rockefeller Center. The men sit casually, legs dangling into the void. Above them, the skeletal frame of the skyscraper rises, a testament to human ambition and ingenuity. Furnari is known for his sculptures that depict regular, hard-working people throughout history. Transporting his "Lunch" sculpture, he drove a truck 1,200 miles from New York to Pompano Beach. "It weighs a couple thousand pounds, no problem," said Furnari. "Passion and love is what really drove it, and it's currently on top of a truck because it shows that we're all free to move. I also did this because Frank (Grieco) is the man."

Yelp
We were looking at spots for a late lunch / early dinner after catching a musical nearby and so glad this is where we ended up! Industrial / steel foundry decor works well without being cartoonish or becoming the center of attention. Friendly and helpful staff were only too happy to take care of special orders. extra plates, and whatever else we needed. Cocktails were tasty, strong, and well priced. Spinach Dip Appetizer was yummy and came with freshly cooked pita that was somehow simultaneously puffy, crispy, and chewy. So good. Our party had a goat cheese salad, crispy mahi sandwich, and the sushi stack, and each of us was super pleased with our choices. No one had room for dessert so we left, full and happy. Be warned, the outdoors is a smoking section, and they allow cigars, so if you are sitting anywhere near the entrance, you will smell smoke!
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in a plaza with paid parking via the Pay by Phone app. We sat outside on a busy Saturday night for dinner. Be warned it is located right next to a cigar bar so you have to be okay with smelling cigars if you choose to sit outside! The hostess was nice enough to give us this heads up as well. We started with a Grapefruit Basil Collins (too sweet for my taste) and a Hold My Beer lager. The lager was somewhat flat and odd-enough tasting to return. Went with an old fashioned instead of the beer which was also not great. We split a warm goat cheese salad as an appetizer. This salad was delicious! And the server was thoughtful enough to bring us the salad already split amongst plates knowing we were sharing it. For entrees we ordered the Foundry Burger with fries and the Brasied Short Ribs with polenta and green beans. Both of these meals were good. The polenta was my favorite part! Overall, a nice spot with good service and good food but not-so-great drinks.

Yelp
A lovely brunch and fun atmosphere. Our sever was so nice and attentive even when he was slammed busy. I enjoyed the French toast. The buns were a little stale for my liking. Bottomless mimosas and some ice cold lemon drop shots after were a nice way to finish off the meal. I enjoyed the decor here and def can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Omg! I have been coming to Foundry for YEARS, and chose to bring my family for dinner tonight. We arrived at 7:50pm and were told at 9:13pm that they still had not started our food and that we were 3rd in line. No updates, no "hey we are a little behind" AND they were not very busy. So, we had to cancel the order as at this point everyone is starving, and opted for McDonalds! I am so embarrassed that my family in town had this experience. With all of the options in the area we chose you and this was a huge mistake. Won't make this mistake again. Shame on you Foundry :(

Yelp
Fantastic large outside patio with a long bar that peers into the restaurant where there are colorful wall murals and replica photos of the iconic Chrysler Building. The hostess, Nancy, should get a raise and the owners should be pleased with her outgoing personality - I literally thought at first that she was a manager. She took me on a tour of the restaurant and provided information on the incredible decor. We sat at the patio bar and met with the bartender, Todd, who was not enthusiastic but provided quick service and explained the happy hour options. We ordered the Margherita Flatbread $8 (very good) and craft beer $6. Great conversation with other patrons. The bathroom was super clean with glossy wall tiles and ceramic tile flooring.

Yelp
First time trying out the Foundry and we were impressed! Our server Nixon provided great friendly service and recommended a couple of burgers that were perfectly cooked and full of flavor (Foundry burger recommended). Short rib flat rib to start was nothing special with a small portion but it was happy hour pricing so we enjoyed it nonetheless! For meals, recommend their prosciutto pizza. Crust was softer than I was used to, but it tasted SO good. Lastly, highly recommend the hibiscus mule to drink. Notes of ginger beer with the sweet hibiscus flavor was perfect and I'd order it every time.

Yelp
LOVED IT! Party of 8! Great food! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Awesome atmosphere! Our server, Jason, was awesome! We were seated outside, great weather! Music level was just right! The hostess who greeted us was very nice! From the time we walked in we were treated nicely! The hostess, server and food runners were all so nice and extremely pleasant! Which is a major plus at any establishment! Days before we went to The Foundry I called and had the pleasure of speaking to the owner, Frank who was also very nice and had a great personality! This place is a major hit! We'll definitely return!

Yelp
After sightseeing in Pompano Beach all day, we decided to find a place to have an early dinner. As we are driving, we see this very wild group of men sitting on top of a restaurant roof! We are now intrigued! We pull in and see that it's a restaurant. And those men are statues of foundry workers from the early 1800's. How cool! Inside the place is huge! Lots of seating available indoors and out. It was packed! We didn't have to wait long and we were seated. Our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Foundry burger and my daughter got the Sliders. Both meal were very good. We didn't stay long because we had to get home but it was fun there and we would definitely go back! Parking was available in front and to the side of the Foundry.

Yelp
This restaurant and bar is my type of place. The Chrysler building NYC decor added to the atmosphere and was perfect on a cool night on their patio. Happy hour offered many choices of apps, beers and cocktails. I had a mojito which was too sweet for my liking but beautiful presentation. Easily switched it out for a cold beer. The bartender needs to up his game on personality, but the hostess Nancy was a rock star. Stayed here for a couple hours met others and had fun.

Aaron C.

Yelp
Man, I can't say enough about the food quality quality quality. Was greeted by the owner promptly sat outside on a beautiful patio with my little dog they even brought him water. The atmosphere in the place could be high-end or sports bar beautifully decorated service was good everyone super friendly happy to come back and celebrate their 10 year anniversary. A must try no doubt.

Yelp
So I stated I will try a new restaurant out in my neighborhood as I been here for almost 4 years. Let's say my family and I enjoyed the food. The service was great and felt good outside to eat and mingle with my husband and kids. The service was not the best but wasn't bad either. The blackened mahi was too good and I didn't get a picture or the spinach and artichoke dip but my family loved it. We will come again for brunch because I want those sticky buns lol.
google avatar

Yelp
Peeped this spot before crossing the bridge to Pompano Beach. Food, service, and ambiance (patio seating) was great. Brunch "ends" at 3p but the waiters look out past the time & make sure your bottomless mimosa glasses are top off or put in another round for bourbon. Highly recommend
google avatar

Jody O.

Yelp
set at the bar today to have a glass of wine and some late lunch service was horrible. The car was pre-empty and she should've given me really great service but she didn't. That's why she got 3 stars. however, my foot was very good and everyone else was very nice.
google avatar

Cliff H.

Yelp
Very cool place. Great service super good food. Great cocktails. Awesome decor on the corner. Open seating outside open seating super cool place. Highly recommend recommended.
google avatar

Charles K.

Yelp
I ordered a blacked salmon. It was good, came with Brussels sprouts and spaghetti squash. The service was alright. Great ambience all around. The music was a little loud but it didn't bother me much.
google avatar

Lisa H.

Yelp
It was early Friday night and game night so the bar was loud and crowded. We were seated immediately in a booth in a quieter area. It was happy hour and we were told of the bar bite menu available until 7pm which looked good. Maybe next time. Our server appeared quickly and took our order from the dinner menu. We ordered the Greek Salad, Marghita Pizza and Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. We really enjoyed our meals and will come back for the salad and pizza along with some items from the bar bites menu. Prices were fair and service was very good. There is paid parking in the lot, but we found 2 hour free parking on the street!
google avatar

Tyler C.

Yelp
The food itself was decent, but the service was so bad we wanted to get out asap, probably had two meals worth of leftovers but wanted to get out before waiting for boxes. The hostess was very rude to my girlfriend and I upon walking in. Our waiter came over a single time after we ordered, and only after we asked another staff member for help. Can't say I would ever recommend this place to a friend and I definitely won't be going back. I don't think I've ever left a bad yelp review, but felt like I had to this time.
google avatar

Billie M.

Yelp
Very chill, laid-back environment. We stopped in for a late brunch before heading to spend the afternoon at the beach. The food was filling but not too heavy.
google avatar

Christopher Z.

Yelp
While staying on the beach for the weekend, we were looking for a bite to eat and most places were closed. Luckily The Foundry was still open. We came in to get some dinner and drinks. Food was good, but service was a bit mediocre. It could have been an off day for our server. The star of the show is the ambiance of this place. Super cool aesthetics. Drinks were also good. Check this place out if you are in the area.
google avatar

Kendra W.

Yelp
The Foundry is consistently good. I have been for brunch, happy hour, and later at night. I will say, brunch is my favorite. Definitely try the breakfast pizza, and ask about the chef's special. Oh and of course, bottomless mimosas. Each visit, the staff has been friendly, the food has been tasty, and the drinks hit the spot. I definitely recommend a visit.

Mars W.

Yelp
Went with some friends. Of the 4 of us all said the food was not good. It was for brunch. The typical breakfast was okay. The French toast looked good, but one person sent her back. This is our second visit. We will not return.

Matt R.

Yelp
Was super excited to try this place. Food is good, atmosphere is chill. Strawberry mojito was terrible and tasted like lighter fluid. Service was atrocious. No personality, no friendliness in his voice, took our order and came back once we were finished. Took forever to bring the bill and take payment. It's way too slow for mediocre service. Plenty of other places with similar food and atmosphere with phenomenal servers and bartenders. Restaurants need to start hiring legit employees and fix their service standard. Food and drinks aren't enough to maintain guests.
google avatar

Arlet A.

Yelp
I visited The Foundry with a group of 12+ people on a Friday (with existing reservation), and we were treated so well. Our server was very attentive even with serving such a large group. The server helped to guide us through the menu and made the specials of the day very appealing. He encouraged us to also take advantage of the happy hour menu, which had great options for both small bites and drinks. I had the chance to try the surf and turf, cooked beautifully, the steak sandwich that was seasoned so well, and the beef bolognese, which was my absolute favorite and even had some veal in it.
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
This is another favorite place for Happy Hour. They have a large selection of food and drink items to choose from. The downside is that every parking spot near the restaurant is a pay spot...not more free spaces for customers. The usual for us is to get a few beers, some wings and a flatbread. The service has always been very friendly and very timely. I like this place and it's a great place to watch some sports if you want to sit inside or to enjoy the nice outdoor patio area.
google avatar

Jimi J.

Yelp
I was with a group from work for a meeting. We had a large table and we could easily communicate from end to end. We had on waiter who handily took care of everyone in our group. We ordered a total of 16 dishes and shared amongst ourselves. Not one complaint! My new favorite are the bacon wrap dates...they are a must! All in all the great experience, wonderful food any fun atmosphere.

Yelp
The Foundry offers a very enjoyable eating experience. I arrived on a Monday at 5 pm. The restaurant was only open for an hour at this point, yet the large indoor/outdoor main bar was already full with patrons enjoying the Happy Hour menu of discounted beers, wines, cocktails and small bites. The bar area is large and inviting and it fills up the front of the restaurant. I sat in a booth with my neighbor for an early dinner. The service could not be better with our server checking in with us regularly as well as check ins from the general manager and a young, energetic food runner. We stayed 90 minutes. I was unfamiliar with the house wine but my server gave me a wine taste. It was crisp and dry and very adequate. At $6 a glass, the pour was generous. I ordered a Greek salad with salmon. It was quite fresh and yummy. The arctic salmon was nicely grilled. The 5 ounce fish added $10 to the $16 dish. The salad portion was generous. My neighbor had the French Dip and he loved it. It was a large, tender sandwich and he took half of it home. Food is very good here! Parking is ample and free. There is valet parking as well. Even motorcycles have their reserved parking near the front doors. The Foundry offered a pleasant dining experience at a reasonable rate. I'll be back to try some of the local brews on tap!

Yelp
Eat out in Pompano Beach when I have guests from out of town or a special occasion! Houston's is across the street from The Foundry, steps away! Although The Foundry has a wider menu than Houston's, the service was lacking. We celebrated a birthday, on a weeknight, so there weren't a lot of people dining. Our server seemed to hate his job or maybe he was tired or going through something, but he should have taken the night off. Slow, inattentive service. He had no recommendations for anything! Wanted a sweet tasting cocktail-No suggestion! Someone else wanted a cocktail that wasn't sweet-No suggestion. The best thing on their menu was the eggplant meatballs! U don't even taste the eggplant, for those that say they don't like it! Liked it so much, one in our party dug up a recipe & will try to recreate it! Sent back the season-less spaghetti squash! I've had better at Farmer's Table in Boca. Had the mashed potatoes & again, just blah, no seasoning. I'm taking this restaurant off my list! There r much better restaurants in Pompano, right on the beach or intracoastal!

Yelp
Update: I went for brunch, and the brunch menu is pretty good. Benedict was good, so was the chicken and waffles, cinnamon French toast was bomb too. Bloody Mary was ok but bottomless and stiff. Bumping this a star for that.
google avatar

Kaylee S.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing. I was honestly so surprised because I wouldn't have thought to come here. My parents and I came on a whim and may I just say it was the best choice we've made. The service was outstanding, everyone is so nice and attentive. I also really like the vibe of this place it's so cute. 10/10 recommend this place. I will be coming back
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
We got there around 6:30pm and it was busy busy but we were seated right away. This place has nice indoor / outdoor and bar seating. Our drinks took a minute but they were busy so no big issue. We ordered the eggplant meatballs appetizer (amazing). Caesar salad( meh). Truffle Bianca pizza (the star of the show) we really enjoyed our meal. Not being rushed and a great waiter. If you go try the truffle Bianca pizza it was incredible.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Friday evening. Was a nice day out so pretty much every spot outside was taken and inside was empty. We were able to get a table pretty quickly. Our server was on point and friendly. She had lots of tables too !! Food was ok, just basic. Nothing to crave. Drinks were on par. Nothing stood out besides the actually service. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

Yelp
Great Idea with the beer assortment. Now just work on great Food! 1. Maybe Good hamburgers, chicken and salads Yes Getting better every day Many people don't go to you place because of that Musk black and yellow Piece of junk you park in front of Brewery! Seriously?

Jerry Bob E.

Yelp
Sat outside on the patio for happy hour for a gorgeous evening. The service was excellent from the whole staff and Danielle was very attentive. The happy hour bites were delicious and the mahi mahi was excellent.

Yelp
The Food was delicious, service is great and the ambience is amazing. I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
A bit pricey but the food was decent. Service however wasn't the best. We waited 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. For a high end experience with a keener attention to detail search elsewhere. Hope the best for this establishment.
google avatar

Harriet M.

Yelp
We were in the area so I had read about this restaurant so I thought we'd try it. I didn't know it was there for nine years. I guess I read about a long time ago. It was indoor outdoor seating. It was a Sunday evening so it wasn't too busy I did have reservations. The inside is an old building that they convert it which makes it interesting. I had a goat cheese salad, which was good, but Small also an order of spaghetti squash with feta which I enjoyed. We also had a hamburger which was good and we had the pasta beef Bolognese, which was also good. The waitress was professional and helpful. if you're in the neighborhood it be a place to stop for a drink or a casual dining experience
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
Great service, nice vibe on the interior and good food. We stopped by and we're seated immediately. Had a nice booth and the menu looked good from the start. Enjoyed a spicy pineapple margarita. The French dip sandwich was good. It was a little dry (good for dipping however in a great au jus) and could've even used a bit more cheese. The fries came out hot which was great. The key Le pie was a hit too. Not too sweet or tart. Just in that sweet spot. We started with baked Brie which was fine though unremarkable. Server was very helpful and prices were moderate. Solid American place.

Harry G.

Yelp
First time for brunch The short ribs were delicious the French toast n lemon crème was yummy Food hot n tasty, service timely Craig mgr welcomed us, felt nice to be greeted, he had to run, in the weeds! All good be back soon Harry Dale , Liz n Tiffany

Yelp
First time dining here. I ordered the flatbread appetizer which came cold. We were also not given utensils or small plates so we ate the cold flatbread on our bar napkins. Also ordered the tuna tower which tasted funky. The atmosphere is great but the food was not good.

Frank B.

Yelp
Just had a fantastic filet mignon tonight with some great wine from the selection at the Foundry. Great portioning, great ambience, great pricing, and stellar service from the bartenders. I highly recommend this place for all, solo dinners and pastries.

Joe B.

Yelp
Management recently changed and the place now sucks. Bad food, bad service. It's gone way downhill. What a shame.

Yelp
Dinner date in Pompano beach on a Friday night! I had this place on my bookmark collections for a minute and finally got a chance to check this place out. I made reservations on Open table but when we got there, there was a good hand full of table open. We decided to sit inside to avoid the humidity outside. Inside was nice and cool, too cool for me so we moved tables cause the AC was blasting on me. Our waiter was quick with the talk and seemed busy or in a rush but she was informative and got attend us well. Drinks: strawberry ginger-jam Margarita it was a bit sweet, but I hit the spot after two. Appetizers: sushi stack so freaking yummy I almost didn't want to share lol and that sauce Omg love it! Must try if you like poke bowels and or raw sushi. I'm not a huge fan of raw sushi/poke too much but this one was a good amount and delicious Entrees: chef special 10oz steak with baked potatoes and grilled asparagus with a side of peppercorn gravy, boom! (I wish Yelp had emojis to express lol) Also my date had the sixty south salmons, so juicy and thick with glazed soy sweet Brussel sprouts and interesting butter spaghetti squash, wow take about flavor. The place has dime lighting so nice for a date or even girls/guy day or night out to watch sports on the TV at the bar and just converse.

Yelp
My friends and I dined here twice while they were on vacation in Pompano. Brunch is fantastic. Bottomless Bloody Mary's and mimosas for a great price. Happy hour prices are great - the cocktails are quite strong, so you get what you pay for! Wonderful experience. Great service. Ambiance was nice with outside seating.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious, eggplant meatballs are a great choice if your Looking for a vegan entrée so flavorful. Flat bread was good and shrimp and grits was a dish to remember. I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage and they had no problem doing it. Hibiscus Mule is my new drink bc it was fantastic. Great service and will return.
