"One of the great surprises of 2018 is James Blunt opening not just a pub, but a credible one. The Fox and Pheasant — or ‘Fox and Fez’ to loafer-wearing locals — is posh, obviously. But just as Blunt has a spectacular sense of humour, so too does his pub. Alongside the standard snacks of chilli squid and cod cheek scampi are plump beef shin croquettes and buttermilk fried guinea fowl. The chips are great and so is the service. Don’t overlook it." - Josh Barrie

It’s kinda like a beautiful country pub in the playground of London. You come off the busy Fulham Road and immediately feel the village vibes, with dark wood furniture and the loveliest team and beaming smile from my friend Dan at the bar. If you choose to venture further into the pub, like entering the wardrobe to Narnia, you’ll find a vibrant, earthy restaurant in the back, which I highly recommend too. I have tried now quite a few pub classics executed to perfection, like the fish & chips and the pie & mash before, but on this occasion ventured further into the menu. You’ll always get a canapé, which is unheard of at a pub and quite brilliant in setting the scene. Dan was great at giving us recommendations, where we’d not eaten all day, which led us to indulge in a shared lamb croquette the size of a babies arm as a starter… the largest monolithic dish with delicious melt in the mouth pulled lamb, that will forever be etched on my brain as the godfather of starters. It was lucky then that we opted for two mains if the torpedo starter hadn’t already taken us down ;) Veal Schnitzel took me back to Germany and my grandmothers pile of amazing schnitzels she gleefully used to continuously cook. We attached it to a fried chicken burger side main, that I heard has connections with the gents at Fallow in its creation. Both really great fun and knocked our back wheels off that we were amply full and ready for a happy food coma. I really do love The Fox and Pheasant. Its not only an incredible foodie pub, with fantastic energy and a lovely team, but it has a lot of great family memories I can’t ever repeat, only go back for more. Thanks lovely Dan and team!

Super friendly staff, we were sat in the area at the back of the restaurant and as it was a sunny day they had the windows back and the roof open, which I'm sure will be lovely as we get more into summer. We had the scotch egg and found it a little too salty, although the general flavour was delicious and egg was cooked perfectly. The ham and cheese pie was excellent. Not pictured but the "Say When" pudding was also to die for, and they didn't mind us sharing it between a couple of us!

My favorite neighborhood pub! Love the vibe and the food. Also love how they update the menu all the time so I always get to try something new whenever I go!

Omg. Incredible pub. I think it’s now my favourite pub ever. All of the food was amazing, and the chipolatas and truffle toast were probably the highlights along with the mousse. Cocktails were fabulous too. I can’t wait to go back.

I was in London on a business trip in December and for our last business meeting/meal I sneakily chose The Fox and Pheasant because 1. James Blunt has been my Apple Music number one most listen to artist since I was a tween, and 2, everyone asked to have something at a pub. Everything about this place was 20 out of 10. The service, the food, the drinks. I was with a party of all male Americans, and each one said it was the best meal we had for the entire trip. Thank you F&P crew for a lovely time and meal! J.B. Your pub is Beautiful, it’s true.

The food and service at this pub was amazing ! We came for the Sunday roast and it didn’t disappoint. The pork, especially, was a stand out. Would absolutely return :)

Google
Excellent little pub! If you’re looking for homely cooked food, the stuff that gives you a big hug this is the place for you. Great, cosy environment with excellent service. I could sit there all day drinking beer and those scotch eggs! We will be back to try out the Sunday roast for sure!

Lively place, nice pint of cider. The fish & chips were tremendous as was the wee salmon canopé that I was given. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Next time I come down to London, I'll be back.

Yelp
Wonderful place. We first planned to attend their Sunday Roast and had reservations. That morning I woke up sick and had to cancel before the 24hour limit and got hit for £20. They refunded it because of the circumstances. We returned for dinner where we enjoyed a pint in the pub before heading downstairs to a glass-topped terrace. We received perfect friendly and attentive service and great food and drink. If I lived here, I'd be a regular. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We came to this place our first night in London. It was so so so amazing. I got the tomato risotto stuffed pepper and it was the most amazing stuffed pepper I have ever had. Their mashed potatoes were extremely extremely flavorful too. Our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Outstanding fish and chips! Perfect mashed peas. Delicious coleslaw. Great beer selection. And be sure to get the poppyseed cheesecake-- uniquely wonderful concept, perfectly executed. Cheers!

Yelp
Wow this place is amazing and such a gem. The service is great and the food is amazing. We tried the fried Guineafowl with garlic aliol and it was wonderful. We then went on to the burgers that both my husband and I felt were in our top 3 ever - the onion jam put this burger over the top. Then for dessert we had toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and all I can say is Wow. We stumbled upon this place before a Chelsea game and only wish this hidden gem was near us in Florida as we were be here frequently. You won't reader coming here.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal! We stopped by this on a whim and we're not disappointed. The ambiance was beautiful and staff was easy to work with. We had a burger, chicken sandwich, pork belly, and beef roast but all were amazing. Highly recommend

Yelp
This is such a cute place. I love the fireplace and the ambience is so adorable and comfortable. Drinks are sooooo cheap even with UK prices and it's nice to just hang with friends. They also have different kinds of beers on tap and you can even try them if you've haven't had them. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone that is in this area of London.

Yelp
Ok... increasing the star value since this would be my ideal local. We ended up frequenting this little gem 3 times while staying in London. It is a very warm place to sit down and have a chin wag and a pint. The Irish bartender was extremely personable and even remembered what we drank. They do offer some hot lunches during the week, but not on the weekend. I did notice that they also received some Indian Delivery when I was there so I guess they don't mind if you have something delivered to you. They have the footie on the telly.... I always thought that when I retired I wanted to own a pub.... this would be the exact pub which I would love to own one day. On our last visit as we walked in.. the barkeep looked at us and said.. "Let me see you need two Kronenbourg's, a Strongbow and a I have no Fking clue.." the mate we dragged in there with us had not been there yet... loved the honestly and the surliness was perfect.. I will miss you guys!

Yelp
Great little local place. A bit of a dive but in a charming way. If I was back in Chelsea, I'd go again.

Yelp
Long may pubs like this remain - traditional and full of what pubs represent in local communities. The outstanding characteristic of the Fox is how different the pub is on Chelsea match days as compared to the rest of the week. Been drinking here for 40+ years so I should know!
