The Frenchman's Dough Review - South Street Seaport - New York - The Infatuation

"The food at this Italian restaurant in the Tin Building is a mixed bag. We’re fans of the fried calamari that’s blanketed with lots of shredded parm and comes with a salsa verde instead of a boring marinara. On the other hand, the bucatini with clams and grated broccoli is just too salty. It’s nice to sit at the counter that faces the open kitchen, especially if you’re coming in from the cold, because the heat from the pizza oven will warm you up in seconds. Speaking of the pizzas, they’re thin, crispy, and generally fine, but you’re better off heading to —less than a 10-minute walk away—if you’re in the mood for a pie." - Kenny Yang

Wow. These folks earned every star ✨ The SERVICE was consistently phenomenal from the time we walked up to the time we left. There are few times I've had service this good. The food was amazing too. I tried the ever-popular Crispy Calamari appetizer and the Truffle Shuffle pizza. Delicious! 🤤 The vibes were calm and welcoming, a warm and relaxing respite from an otherwise busy city. 😌 This restaurant is a part of an indoor collection of shops resting by the port. There is a good view of the Brooklyn bridge from the other side of the building. 🌉 I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Bring friends and family because they could use a little more love!

Of all the things we ordered at Frenchman’s Dough, I really loved the spicy sausage pizza and the shrimp scampi. Both were super flavorful and even better with a sprinkle of pepper flakes. The pizza was meaty and had that sweet oniony kick I love, and the pasta had a generous amount of shrimp with fresh noodles (I know they were fresh because I’m basically an adopted Italian, lol just kidding). The atmosphere here is super posh but still relaxed. It feels upscale without being stuffy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. So why only 4 stars, you ask? They really need to step up their game with the appetizers. On our first visit, we ordered the calamari and it was overcooked and way too salty because of the parmesan. This time, we tried the yellowfin tuna tartare and it tasted overly green and grassy to the point that the freshness of the tuna got lost. It feels like they’re still figuring out how to let the main ingredients shine in their apps, which is a bit of a letdown. Also, the napkins. They were so linty. Everyone at the table ended up with lint on their clothes after putting the napkins on our laps. This seems like a small thing, but it’s the kind of detail that really sticks out. They need to change their napkins or at least fix whatever is causing that issue. All that said, I’d still come back for the mains. The pizza and pasta are more than worth it.

The Frenchman’s Dough is located on the second floor of the Tin Building! Got the mushroom pizza but forgot to take photos. Pretty good but pretty pricey. Plenty of seating on a Wednesday around 1pm. I think most restaurants in the Tin Building are pretty empty during lunch on weekdays. Service was solid, our servers were great. Note that the restaurant is in the “open” part of the Tin Building, so depending on where you’re sitting, there could be lots of people walking by. The squash appetizer was interesting, I’d recommend! I thought I was biting into a fried mozzarella stick (but it looks like an onion ring).

I had the pleasure of dining at Frenchman’s Dough inside the Tin Building this week, and I can’t stop thinking about how delicious everything was! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The open kitchen vibe added to the charm, making it feel like an immersive dining experience. The food was absolutely amazing. The calamari is hands down the best I’ve had in NYC, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. It was light and flavorful, without being greasy at all. If you’re a fan of seafood, this dish alone is worth the visit! But the real standout for me was the Truffle Shuffle pizza. The combination of rich truffle flavor with a perfectly crispy crust made each bite feel indulgent and satisfying. The flavors were balanced so well, and the toppings were fresh and high-quality, making it one of the most memorable pizzas I’ve had in a while. I’ve been to the Tin Building multiple times, but this visit to Frenchman’s Dough really stood out. Whether you’re popping in for a casual meal or enjoying a special evening out, this place has it all: delicious food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area or looking for a great dining experience in the Seaport!

Had dinner at Frenchman’s Dough after a colleague recommended the Tin Building. Great atmosphere both inside the Tin Building and around the area. Service was great from start to finish. Got a seat at the bar and was able to watch them stretch the dough and assemble the pizzas. A little dinner and a show action. Definitely recommend checking out when back in town.

Google
My visit was on a quiet yet cold Sunday. It proved to be a perfect time to grab a table for two for lunch. The staff was very professional and as usual the service was on point. The only real issue we experienced was that the bread we ordered with our appetizer was served almost cold. It would have been so much better served warm or hot. That said, the Frenchman receives a 5 star review for utterly delicious food. Our shared elections included fried calamari, fresh bread and oil dip, Ceasars salad, and branzino. We finished our meal with a Basque cheesecake and an affogato. Highly recommended.

I was nervous about dining alone because my guest had to back out at the last minute, but I’m so glad that I decided to have a solo adventure. Your team was very welcoming. Made me feel right at home and checked in with me often enough that I didn’t feel all alone the food was delicious. I got great recommendations from the staff, and I felt like a valued customer. I will absolutely be back!

I had an amazing experience at The Frenchman’s Dough! The calzone was absolutely delicious—perfectly baked with a crispy, golden crust and a rich, flavorful filling. It was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The service at the bar was just as impressive. Camilo took great care of me, providing friendly and attentive service that made the experience even better. His professionalism and hospitality truly stood out. I can’t wait for the moment I can come back and enjoy another great dinner!

Yelp
Convenient location of going to the pier for a concert. We wish we had a little more time to explore the entire Tin building. Lots of different food choices including a little market. We had reservations at The Frenchman's dough. Seating promptly, service was great, cocktails also great. Pizza was nice, thin and crispy. We had the pepperoni pizza and ventured out of our comfort zone and tried the lemon pizza and not were we surprised at how much we liked it the pony suggestion I have would be to serve it with hot honey. We had the panacotta for dessert, which was small but perfect for us to share. Our bellies were full from the two pizzas. We didn't feel rushed at all and the place was busy. Very enjoyable dinner before the concert.

Yelp
Came here on a weekend night and was able to be seated at the bar fairly quickly. The service was great and the ambiance is quite nice, I'd describe it as a place for an upscale date night (dim lighting, modern fixtures, etc.). The service was great and I thought that our waiter was attentive and the food came out quickly. I tried the limone and argula pizzas as well as the yellowtail crudo to start. I really enjoyed the crudo (thinly sliced raw yellowfish) as it tasted super fresh. The vinegary topping was a great addition and complemented the delicateness of the fish. The limone pizza was unlike any other that I've had before. It comes with sliced lemons on top and ricotta cheese. The hint of citrus and brightness that the lemons brought to the pizza was nice, but I wasn't a big fan of the crust and felt like the pizza was falling apart. The argula pizza was another solid choice and a great option for those who are lactose intolerant. I liked the chili oil and peppers that were on top, but I again wasn't too happy with the crust. Overall, I liked the flavors here and thought it was super fresh, but the pizza crust was just a little thin for my liking!

Yelp
Came here with the family to celebrate Mother's Day. I had a reservation and didn't have to wait to be seated. Service was friendly though a bit slower at times (e.g., saw staff holding our bottles but chatting with each other before bringing it over). We all enjoyed the food. Started with calamari and caesar salad and then had 2 pizzas and 2 pastas. My favorite were the bolognese and margherita pizza which were great. The truffle pizza and scampi pasta were not my cup of tea but others at my table did enjoy them. The location is cute being on the second floor of the Tin Building in Seaport. Good atmosphere and energy. If you're in the Tin Building and looking for a bite, I'd say definitely worth trying.

Yelp
The service was top notch, super friendly and engaging. My friend can't handle anything spicy and the server was so thoughtful when taking our order to mindfully remind us that the pizza we're ordering has a sauce that has a little heat to it to make sure we felt comfortable with our dinner choices. The pizza came and it was paper thin, so thin it collapsed in my hand! I think it's their specialty but I kept wondering "where's the rest of it?" I love a thin crust normally but this felt like a crepe. The pasta was very good and the sauce was substantial but the shrimp felt under seasoned and slightly over cooked. Loved the cocktails, they were refreshing and almost juice-like. The restaurant is located on the second floor and there was a lot going on with all the different dining options side by side. Very cool vibe, would come again.

Yelp
We were a large group and ordered one of each pizza. It was a great way to try all of them. The lemon one was by far my favorite. The staff was great, extremely attentive and very personable. It's a great atmosphere with different areas of dining choices from casual to a little more upscale. They also have fresh products and flowers to buy downstairs. If you haven't been to Jean George Tin Building you really should!

Yelp
I love their Shuffle Truffle pizza. The best truffles pizza and the thinnest pizza in NYC. I must have been here a dozen times. Their salads are also good plus their meatballs! Everyone I have taken over to eat their pizza - rave after and go back!

Yelp
Had a dinner here a few days ago. Located on second floor of the Tin Building that was old Fulton Fish Market building on the pier 17. This completely renovated building is nicely tenanted food hall and full of great food establishments. The Frenchman's Dough is one of very popular one. We started with beer and wine with the calamari and tomato salad. The calamari was a little over cooked but still not tough and came with great avocado dipping. Tomato was fresh and good dressing. Both pasta and pizza were great especially this thin pizza was great balance of dough, sauce and cheese. Chicken parmigiana was good, i never experienced texture of this chicken breast though. Which was still good and we enjoyed. Staffs are knowledgeful. Overall, we enjoyed this dinner here. Give them 5 stars tonight.

James Y.

Yelp
Taste not so good. The service is poor. There aren't enough space to seats. There are several restaurants in this building, and some places are not comfortable.

Yelp
Grabbing lunch with friends on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, she recommended we try this place. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess and were immediately seated at a both. The place is clean, modern and classic. The decor was during for the modern Italian theme. The waitresses immediately came over, introduced herself and took our drink orders. While my friend recommend pizza & pasta, I decided to go with baked eggs from the brunch menu because I was craving eggs. My friend's ordered the Rita pizza & bucatini with shrimp. Should have gone with their recommendation. The eggs were colorful and tasty but it was not filling. Wished it came with some sort of bread or facaccia to complete the meal. My friend commented that get shrimp were overcooked though the pasta was delicious. I have to say the pizza probably was the best looking but can't comment on taste since I didn't have it. I was a little disappointed because the food I had want the best I've had comparatively to other places I've been. Final conclusion, I love the ambiance & service and would need to come back to this place and try a pasta or pizza dish which is more for what they are known for.

Yelp
Located inside the 2nd floor of the tin building, this spot offers traditional Italian cuisine with a French twist. The service was professional and on point. The ambiance has a touch of Jean-Georges' style. We ordered their truffle shuffle pizza to share and it was so good that I can eat the whole pie by myself. The crust was thin and the flavor was perfect. Not too heavy at all. Will be back.

Yelp
Popped in here pre-show at Pier 17. I've been so many of the Times Building spots and this one is very good. We sat right at the pizza bar, got a full show for eyes while we filled our bellies. The cocktails are very good. The pizza was on point. That crispy center meets pillowy, yet slight charred crust! My fav! Toppings are inventive and well seasoned. I will definitely be a repeat visitor!

Yelp
As big fans of The Fulton nearby -- especially its pasta -- my husband and I felt compelled to try Frenchman's Dough recently. Overall would call the experience good, but not great (and the Fulton is great). The restaurant is casual and open in layout on the second floor of the tin building, with an attractive bar and fairly big seating area (reservation still recommended). Service was friendly. We ordered the house bread (very good, though getting butter for it took a hot minute), then the tuna tartare, radiatore w meatballs and shrimp scampi linguine. The tuna was high quality but any of that fresh taste was completely overpowered by the far too acidic vinaigrette and overdone chopped up Kalamata olives mixed in. Disappointing, though thankfully it came with a little dish of fresh pizza bread that was actually delicious. Pastas were variable. The linguini was cooked well and generally fine if not super memorable. Radiatore pasta was over cooked and on the tough side, though the tiny meatballs were quite yummy -- only wish there were more of them! The pizzas here looked really good from afar and seem very popular, so we'd give TFD another chance for pizza purposes.

Yelp
Sooo yummy! We ordered the Limone Pizza, Arugula Salad, Penne Pasta, and Chicken Parmesan. The Limone Pizza was such an interesting pizza, but it works. The slight bitterness and sourness from the lemons was a nice cut to the cheese of the pizza. It goes really well with the Arugula Salad as well as there are hints of citrus in it too. Highly recommend getting the Chicken Parmesan. The dish itself isn't too saucy and the chicken comes out as crispy as can be, even when topped with a layer of cheese!! We were super surprised and loved the dish. This one pairs well with the Penne Pasta as a more basic dish. All 4 dishes were amazing, will definitely come back!

Yelp
Frenchman's Dough is one of the restaurants inside of the Tin Building by Jean-Georges. It's an Italian restaurant, but Jean-George acknowledges the fact that he is French, not Italian. Hence the name of the place. As with all his other restaurants and pop-up restaurants in the building, the level of service is impeccable. Everyone's very friendly and attentive and food is amazing. Fried calamari: Perfectly fried and topped with just the right amount of high quality parmagiano reggiano, served with a creamy tangy pesto dipping sauce. Some menu items are unmistakably French but with an Italian twist. This tuna tartare was made with olive oil and had chopped calabrian chili and olives. Served with freshly baked flat bread which was AMAZING! The Frenchman knows how to make dough! :) Bucatini with clams: Perfectly al dente with ample amount of fresh clams in perfectly seasoned sauce. Their version supposed to come with grated broccoli, but I opted out of it. Very tasty dish! Cacio e Pepe spaghetti with pecorino and parmesan: Perfect amount of pepper. Another great dish! Three cheese mushroom pizza with a perfectly fried farm egg in the middle. The egg was expertly cooked so that it was runny in the middle but not dripping so that it was easy to eat when the pizza was cut. Amazing. If you're expecting a traditional Neopolitan pizza or Italian pasta, this isn't the place. But if you're willing to venture out and eat a delicious Italian/French fusion meal, this place is perfect. It was so good that my son went back to take his girlfriend the day after.

Yelp
Such an amazing restaurant , in a impressive building. We were greeted by the friendly host who sat us down quickly. The calamari was a standout appetizer. For entre I would recommend the shrimp scampi and the pomodoro and meatballs. Overall a great place to have a relaxing lunch. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Late August, i went to have pizza at The Frenchman's Dough. Located on the second floor of the Tin Building, I was keen on trying yet another restaurant in this food hall. As I hadn't made a reservation, I sat at the bar where I discussed the merits of preserved lemons with a Moroccan server. Why? Lemon Pizza was my selection. Out of the eight pizzas, the lemon with the preserved lemons, ricotta, Parmesan and Fontina seemed unusual. It arrived and glistened royally. I breathed in the rich heady citrus aroma. With a first bite, ripples of delight flooded my body. This was truly orgasmic! I closed my eyes to savor each morsel as that is often what I do to enjoy and etch it in my memory. The marriage of the lemon and ricotta gave this pizza royal status in my book. Water seemed the best match as it didn't deter the flavor of this pizza. I took two slices home and still enjoyed it a day later. Two weeks later I returned to have this very same pizza to see if continued to delight. It did. I was thrilled with it and hope that it remains on the menu for a hundred years. Service was efficient and kind. Both the lady servers were happy that I liked the lemon pizza which was popular.

Yelp
Came here on Friday night with a friend for dinner. The restaurant is located in the Tin Building by Jean-Georges which houses a number of different restaurants, bars, and shops. The restaurant offers a cozy seating area with direct views into the kitchen and is well integrated into the rest of the building. ⁃ Limone Pizza (3.5/5) Interesting to try but felt like an entire pie was a bit too much ⁃ Rita Pizza (4.5/5) Delicious thin crusted Margherita pizza; would definitely order again ⁃ Ghetti Cacio E Pepe - (4/5) Pretty good pasta ⁃ Passion Fruit Chili Sparkling Soda (4.5/5) Delicious and refreshing ⁃ Wood-fired Cheesecake (4/5) decadent and delicious! Lots of delicious options at The Frenchman's Dough, will definitely be returning! Service was a mixed bag, some waiters seemed experienced, others were training. They were all helpful and welcoming

Maddy A.

Yelp
Holy moly....this place was sooooo good. We went on a Monday night & it was packed! The chicken parm was my favorite ever! The limone pizza was packed with flavor and not overpowering. It was soooooo yummy. They were out of the shrimp scampi so we tried the bucatini w/ clams was great. Highly recommend this spot and obviously the most beautiful space. Sooo happy this Tin building opened and added so much to our seaport neighborhood.
google avatar

Lily M.

Yelp
This is upstairs in the tin building and has a cute cozy ambiance. We chose to sit here and order food directly from here. The service was very attentive. The kale pizza was delicious and the star of the night. The shrimp scampi linguine was good but not a standout.
google avatar

Jeff O.

Yelp
There's lots to like at this French-inflected pizza-and-pasta spot, which somehow manages to be comfortable and pleasant despite barely being cordoned off from a bustling scene on the second floor of the Tin Building. Service is cheerful and professional, tableware is characteristically stylish of Jean-Georges, and if you're lucky and so inclined, you can opt for a counter seat with an up-close view of noodles and sauces being tossed and swirled in countless pots and pans. The pizzas are properly blistered, have ultrathin crusts and are generously blanketed in cheese almost all the way out to their edges (the latter two attributes evoke a faint resemblance to Alsatian tarts). I'm still swooning over the salty-sweet enchantment of the white pie with preserved lemons and ricotta. It was good enough to compensate for the beet salad featuring dull cubes of feta, duller ribbons of romaine and an uninspired red wine vinaigrette, and it was all the excuse I need to visit the Seaport more often.
google avatar

Chithra V.

Yelp
Pretty good place if you don't prefer crowds. It's inside the Tin Building in NYC. We ordered the kiwi Margherita and the pomo Margherita for drinks and both of them tasted good. Even the food was complementing especially the Bruschatta and the pesto egg Pizza. Haven't tasted egg on a Pizza before but it was very good. There's also a place behind with cute yellow fish bone hangings decor for photos. Can definitely visit once.

Yelp
The Frenchman's Dough is inside of the Tin Building in the South street seaport area. It's a food hall that has 2 levels. The Frenchman's Dough is on the 2nd floor. It's a very nice, cute spot for lunch or dinner. I went for lunch a little after 12 and it filled up around 12:30ish. The staff was very nice and took my food allergies into consideration. I got the LIMONE pizza. Yes you heard that/ saw that right LEMON on a Pizza! Some may think it's very strange! I did at first but when I saw it on tik tok and other social media platforms, I just had to try it! I am glad I did but not sure I would get it again. It was a bit too oily for me but the lemon slices on it did make it taste a bit bitter. The waitress said it comes with chilli pepper flakes, so I asked for it on the side. But, when the pizza came out I saw some flakes on the pizza. I didn't think much of it. When I had the 2nd and 3rd slice of my pie boy did I taste the,! And I am not a spicy person at all. This and that it was a bit too oilly for me is why I am giving this place 4 stars. But, I would come back and try something else out. Everyone who walked by my table saw my pie and said how amazing and delicious it looked!
google avatar

Kelly M.

Yelp
So delicious! And the servers are all very nice - though slow. We ended up not getting our drinks until after we finished the salad and pizza.
google avatar

Caitlin D.

Yelp
Service was great, everything we ate had amazing flavor, the space was full and yet we couldn't hear other peoples conversations. It was just a really pleasant environment. I'm not a big lemon fan per se but I would happily get the limone pizza again. Couldn't recommend more. It's also fun to walk around the marketplace after, get a drink in another bar and just enjoy.
google avatar

Dong K.

Yelp
just don't. host asked how many and said the table is getting ready then walks away for like 5mins. felt abandoned. another person checked in with us but by that point we were ready to walk away. maybe i'm just impatient. what's even more unforgivable was very forgettable funghi pizza. flavorless dough. could've gone to a dollar slice shop and might have had a better pizza. never again for me

Neeta A.

Yelp
I wish I remembered the name of the pasta- (it was the first on the list of pasta though). This pasta was amazing- although simple in ingredients, it was perfect. Thinly sliced jalapeños, garlic and ricotta-that is all that was needed for this carb filled bliss. The margarita pie was also delicious! Definitely coming back to their other dishes.

John R.

Yelp
Very sad to see a restaurant decline like this so dramatically,. Servers are well meaning but inept. Food is greasy. Place is expensive. At this point it is just a tourist trip
google avatar

Sanghita B.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday afternoon with kids, amazing service and scrumptious food! We had to order the calamari again as the kids ate it all! The pizza was out of the world with high quality mozzarella and lemon, a very different taste altogether a most go! Will try the pasta next time, this place will give some of the known pizza joint run for their money in nyc. Overall the Tin building has a unique ambiance with options for multiple kinds of cuisines. Overall a very kid friendly place

Tiffani D.

Yelp
This was embarrassingly awful pasta. We ordered the cacio e pepe and the scampi. Too incredibly easy dishes yet someone they were both bland and lazy. Would not go back
google avatar

Dayo E.

Yelp
Location is inside the tin building. Upstairs. Seating is definitely a little tight as there are really no tables that take more than 4 maybe 5 people. However we made it work with the help of the staff. We got quite a bunch of appetizers including the burratta, calamari and tuna tartare. All of which were really good. The tartare was definitely heavy on olives. For our main meal we got truffle shuffle pizza, rigatoni and meatball, cacio e Pepe, chicken parm and lobster ravioli. We actually had to go back to get more rigatoni and meatball cuz of how good they were. Also the chicken pasta was very crispy and not soggy at all. Was very impressed. If you're in seaport make a stop

Cathi C.

Yelp
Fantastic! The staff were very friendly, the decor was lovely, and the food was delicious. We shared pizza, meatballs and a salad. Everything was great! Wished we were locals so we could go there all the time!

Yelp
Friendly and Great spot by The South Street Seaport. Food was great and fresh . Will definitely be back .

Yelp
Wonderful evening, as always! Visited with friends and appreciated the host's calm as we finished our drinks at the Cocktail Bar. Our server was also great and made good suggestions. Loved the Tini pasta, the Angel Pasta, the Lamb & Polenta and the chicken parm. We shared all and could not decide what we liked best! Loved the calamari and the burrata to start. Wonderful Vermentino wine as well. Thanks for a lovely and delicious evening!
google avatar

Allie A.

Yelp
First time to the Tin Building by Jean-George. We ordered the Limone pizza and the arugula & fennel salad. The pizza was very unique and unlike any pizza I've ever had. The lemon adds a tangy flavor that complemented the ricotta. I'll definitely go back again!
google avatar

Yelp
The Frenchman's Dough is one of the full-service restaurants in the Tin Building and is located on the second floor. Overall, the servers were very friendly and the food was good, but nothing blew me away. I probably won't return since I think there are better options out there at this price point. My friend and I ordered the Truffle Shuffle pizza and Paccheri pasta. Again, they were both good, but they weren't the most flavorful, didn't come out warm/hot enough, and were a small portion.
google avatar

Vicki C.

Yelp
Went exploring @tinbuilding after work, and the food at Frenchman's Dough was amazing! Accurately described as "Italian with a twist". The pizza was super flavorful with the truffles, and the egg and cheese was a great balance. The pasta with ragu has a kick of spice, and the pasta itself was very chewy and sophisticated. Loved it so much!

Lana M.

Yelp
Amazing pizza, fast service but don't expect it to be high end restaurant more casual place with good interior and atmosphere
google avatar

Ana D.

Yelp
I love this place! I've been here several times. Every time I have to get truffle shuffle pizza. It's delicious. I also enjoy Toni Al's meatball pasta. I've also had the burrata and the tuna tartare. The first time I had the burrata it had cinnamon on it and I wasn't a fan. They change up the appetizers a bit. Service is also pretty good and I love the tin building in general. They accept reservations and also do walk ins. Recommend!
google avatar

Kim I.

Yelp
Delicious fresh salads and pizza. The pizza was thin and crispy and the dough was so light! We also had the Greek beet salad that was delicious!
google avatar

Jessie K.

Yelp
I can't recommend this place enough! The ambiance is incredible and you would not even know you were in a giant food market. The food is incredible with such an amazing marriage of flavors and very allergy friendly. Our server, Reika (I hope I spelled her name right!) was so sweet and accommodating. Everyone here is amazing and suggest it for your next outing. (Also one of the best slices of pizza in the 5 boroughs...hands down!)

Ken M.

Yelp
The Chicken Parma (served without pasta, really) was an absolute joke. The chicken breast was burnt and dry. In addition, the service was lackluster to say the least. The 4-1/2 star rating is misleading.

Cheryll F.

Yelp
Nice casual atmosphere with upscale food. I would recommend for a business dinner or to meet up with friends.

Yelp
love love love! the food is sooooo delicious and the service is great..i love this place for the perfect date night! the penne and the chicken parm were really the stars of my order..including the sparkling cranberry cocktail, the ambiance is a highlight too, the food was super fresh and this was my first time dinning in (the first time i tried the food was with takeout) it was very busy but we were seated within 10 mins and were greeted with an attentive and enthusiastic waiter!! 10/10 will be back continuously

Raquel M.

Yelp
I was overwhelmed with immense satisfaction while dining at this exquisite establishment. With no particular expectations in mind, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the delectable cuisine. My companion and I opted for the irresistible limone pizza, a truly essential choice. The harmonious fusion of flavors, combining the fresh ricotta with delicate lemon slices, was an absolute delight. Additionally, the Paccheri dish surpassed all expectations with its extraordinary taste. To complement our meal, we indulged in a selection of delightful cocktails, while the chocolate pudding we chose for dessert proved to be a scrumptious finale. Our server, Arthur, proved to be a wealth of knowledge regarding the culinary offerings. When I inquired about the secret behind these exceptional dishes, he revealed that all the ingredients originate from France and employ French cooking techniques. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this establishment and personally look forward to returning in the future.

Yelp
Great food, calming ambience, pleasant service. We ordered the truffle shuffle pizza, calamari, and angel pasta (suggested by my server) and it was absolutely amazing! Large portion sizes definitely suitable for sharing. I will absolutely return.

Yelp
Tasty and unique pizza - loved the lemon and ricotta pizza and added some chili oil on top. Parmesan and arugula salad was good too but a bit too sour. Pizza was very thin. Tasty but nothing too special. Fun location too in the Tin Building. Very friendly and efficient staff

Yelp
I recently came here with a friend. We sat at the bar which was pleasant although pretty hot since the pizza oven is nearby. If you tend to run hot choose your seat carefully. There was a nice choice of wine by the glass and good choices of pizza and pasta. I got the cacio e pepe pasta, which was good but not as good as what I've had at similar Italian restaurants. My friend had pasta with clams which she said was great. We finished with the cheesecake which was truly outstanding. Service was great, super friendly and efficient, always there when needed but not overbearing. I'd absolutely return when I'm downtown, just not sure if I'd go out of my way to come back.

Yelp
Went to the Tin building on Sunday Labor Day Weekend for an early dinner, we were immediately shown to our table by the manager Ryan who was super friendly and very attentive and our server was Emily who always made sure we had everything we needed. I just want to say I would definitely go back. For appetizer started with their fried calamari, one of the best I've had, with grated cheese on top, heirloom tomato salad and squash arugula salad, everything fresh and delicious. Main course we had the Truffle Shuffle pizza and the shrimp scampi. Everything was perfect, delicious and brought out on time. For drinks had their Vodka Thyme lemonade and it was so refreshing. The music was also perfect not too loud. 10 out of 10. Definitely will go back to try other plates.
