The Frieze Ice Cream Factory Review - South Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"Frieze is an ice cream shop that’s been open since Miami Vice was on the air. It’s that kind of charming neighborhood scoop shop with bright fluorescent lights, hypothermia-inducing AC, and a staff exclusively made up of teenagers. The ice cream is kosher and they have non-dairy sorbet made with real fruit. There are no ridiculous flavors or sundae monstrosities that exist only for photos here - just mostly cups and cones you can take with you down nearby Lincoln Road." - Ryan Pfeffer

I loved the amazing selection of homemade ice cream and sorbet flavors they have here. They’re so generous with samples, you can try them all! And the staff is super friendly and helpful. Oh, and if you can’t decide between two flavors, they even offer split scoops!

Amazing ice cream and very friendly customer service! He explained how the ice creams are made, the ingredients and recommended flavours that work great together! Just fantastic and worth the visit!

Fantastic ice cream, best in Miami South beach. Natural ingredients with many (and vegan) options and very friendly service! The lychee sorbet is amazing! There is an option for everybody. Definitely a great recommendation for any ice cream lover!

The flavors were basic and the scoops were the size of a golf ball. The picture you see is supposed to be 2 scoops. I barely ate any before taking the pic. My choice was butter pecan. The sugar cones were made fresh but very thin. Had to ask for a cup to put my cone inside. The cone was good so 2 stars is given. Don't look for any big scoops here. The trip is not worth it or the $7 they charged. If you're hot and need something cool, 7-11 will show more love than this place.

SUPER disappointed in this place! My parents flew in to visit me here in Miami Beach and I took them here for ice cream. To say I was disappointed is an understatement! WAY OVERPRICED, and the serving size was laughable! My pictures attached was a regular cup and over $7!! I got more ice cream on my two sample spoons that I tried before picking my flavors. I even asked the man working, “Wait, THIS is $7?” If I wasn’t in utter disbelief, I would’ve told them to keep it! It wasn’t even a full ice cream scoop. I’ve never seen something so ridiculous in my life. $25 later for 3 cups that looked like this.. Never again!

If I can give more stars I would! Not only the best ice cream but hands down the best customer experience. I was met by the owners who were so inviting. They told I can try any flavor, but I knew what I was there for. lol I was offered a sangria dairy free ice cream and I couldn’t believe the flavor coming off that little tester spoon. Then I was able to try the dairy free peanut butter and Dulce de leche *chefs kiss* everything was rich and tasted fresh like it was made that morning. After I finished my 3 scoops i went back in for 2 pints 1 - dairy free peanut butter and 1 - Dulce de leche - and they packaged it up for my long car ride home. I can’t wait to go back! This is the only ice cream spot to visit in Miami!

Google
discovered this gem on our after dinner walk while staying in Miami Beach. It struck us as a hidden neighborhood gem just off Lincoln road/mall and we're glad we stopped in. Small batch hand made ice cream and sorbets; flavors were wonderful, creamy definitely a must try for any ice cream lover.

Yelp
I was in the mood for ice cream and had recently heard the Ice Cream Factory had recently opened in Lincoln Road. It's quite bare inside in terms of decor but was excited to try the ice cream. I ordered one scoop of cookies and cream and one of peanut butter. The cookies and cream was the better of the two and was pretty creamy. Staff was nice and friendly!

Yelp
every time i go in this place, they say they havent filled the soft serve machine yet? Not matter how late in the day I go - this is the third time its happened. Not sure if staff is just not being proactive or what??

Yelp
Friendly and knowledgeable staff... quick service. This is a small walk-in ice cream shop with counter service. They have good variety of ice cream, gelato and sorbet. The ice cream base does not use corn syrup! (I have an allergy.) Today I had a very thick chocolate shake... so delicious, with an incredible dark chocolate flavor. The owner told me the chocolate is sourced from Europe. I'll definitely be back... just a block off Lincoln Road.
