The Frisco Bar & Grill

Visiting the city on business. I do not normally leave reviews but I felt I needed to on this occasion because of the exceptional customer care. My server was Heidi (apparently English not Australian 😂). From the happiest welcome and all throughout our time there she was a credit to the bar. She couldn’t do enough for us even finding out recommendations as to where to stay in England for a trip we have planned. Nothing was to much effort. Would absolutely recommend the bar and for Heidi to be your server when you do. Mark

A great local place to meet up with friends and coworkers! We recently found this location and keep coming back every week because of the fantastic and friendly service from Heidi! The food and drink specials are also great. Highly recommend!

I went to this place on a Sunday and watched a 9ers game. It was very fun to see the excitement. The service and atmosphere were great, I never had to look for wait staff as they were well prepared. We ordered wings which seemed to be precooked then reheated when ordered which made them a little dry. They weren’t bad by any means and it’s probably for obvious reasons but it’s just one of those things I noticed.

5 stars for Heidi! Not only was she friendly and engaging from the start! But she made sure we were taken care of. I had a really hard day yesterday at work so my brother and I decided to grab dinner and hang out! Im so glad we went to the Frisco bar because Heidi was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and anticipated our needs. Ive been in the food service industry for 10+ years and I can definitely say you have a star in Heidi!! The food was delicious and I will be back! Thank you!!

Always have a great time here!! The wings are my favorite. Love that they put the sound on for the games (especially the Sooners), fun karaoke and live music. Heidi was amazing!! Her first week there and never let us go with an empty glass! Very hospitable, friendly, and funny !!

Relatively small location that can be noisy and packed at one time and then empty the next. The food a nd drinks were not that impressive (medium=well done). Nevertheless, the Neighbors Band was there and they were spectacular. That was why we stayed, and probably why we will ever return.

The food & service were outstanding. I had the turkey wrap with tator tots, and my partner had the BBQ burger with sweet potatoes fries. Both were served hot and fresh. We weren't sure if we would dine in or take to go, so they served in to go containers. We had drinks and ended up eating our entire meals there. Will definitely return.

Parking is ample for the corner piece that it is, step inside it is a really decent looking setup with about 15 High tables and about six or seven regular seating tables and some stools in front of the bar, I'd say about 15. The only reason for the mediocre rating and it's probability for a four-star is the bar is nice but onelike this that doesn't have tomato juice to make a Bloody Mary or any kind of cream or coconut blend to make a pina colada ( Yes I know you need a blender too)? They are not that hard and maybe they have the vodka and Gins and such. Jacob was taking care of us and is an exceptionally friendly person and made decent suggestions that I'm glad he was able to tell us. Pretty knowledgeable on the inventory and food that they have available My friend had a sangria which was a little strong and sweet which was the target for that and I got a hold of a dollar beer that they're trying to get rid of which actually tasted good and smooth. One weird thing is going to the men's restrooms as you open a door there are the urinals right in front of the door so if you ladies will like a peep show just casually walk past there or close your eyes whichever turns your fancy but terrible design. I'm probably going against the grain with this review, but expect a little more out of , who's to say that this isn't a place you need to visit at least visit once.

Where I go when I want decent food and service. Lumpia still good. Drinks decent. Home nice and sober!

I decided to give this place a second chance, specialty since the owner came out to introduce himself and was so gracious. I ordered the wings (jerk) which were great. Also ordered the sliders with sweet potato fries, very tasty and perfectly cooked. The Bartender Brook was so welcoming and simply so pleasant to speak to. Happy to have returned. The place is filled with many locals, which was very comforting. The vibe was pleasant and noise very comforting.

Was okay. Not the best service but they definitely had the exceptional lemonade I love. Appreciate the that for sure .

I'm from out of town and this was my first time at the bar. The service was amazing. Brittany made sure we were taken care of and was super friendly. It was karaoke night and the ambiance was awesome. I would definitely recommend this bar for a night of fun with friends. The food was tasty also.

Service was speedy, food was good, and atmosphere was laid back. I had the Cobb Salad and I was the last one done eating because it was a mountain of food. The Steak Fries and Fried Pickles were decent. Bartenders, servers, and patrons at the bar were all pretty chill and cool. It's a good place to watch a game and unwind.

I've only been to Frisco bar on Wednesday because they have karaoke and it's a lot of fun! The food is ok, nothing spectacular, I mean it's bar food, but no complaints. The staff is nice and attentive, they do a really good job checking on you. I wish the cocktails were a little bit more elaborated but they make a good crown apple and cranberry, so I'm happy with that. Definitely visit on karaoke nights!

My home away from home. They have a good following of 49ers fans that gather here for all the games. In fact, they give away jello shots for each touch down that the niners score! A keeper in my book. If you're looking for a sports bar, just beware that all of the seats might get taken up by red and gold. Parking wasn't too bad. Got lucky and found a spot right at the entrance. Don't worry they play nice and will let the occasional cowboys fan sit down as well, lol. Also be sure to do a yelp check-in for a free order of appetizers! Got a plate of nachos here and they're tasty. The bartenders and wait staff do a fantastic job getting everyone's order in. A keeper in my book. This place gets loud and is not the right place for kids. Leave your little ones at home. A bar is no place for babies to hang out. I'm looking at you with the crying baby.

Do NOT order from this place! They will cancel your order at th3 last minute. The food is mediocre at best anyway

One of the worst pizzas I've ever had. My husband ordered his wrap with no tomatoes and it came smothered in tomatoes. Wanted a credit card before we even ordered? Won't be back!

Stopped in for a drink and a snack during the 49ers game. WOW! The place was packed! Tons of energy! Service was fantastic! We sat at the bar and ordered the veggie plate and a pizza. We got the veggie pizza and added pepperoni. It was great! Loved the veggie plate! So fresh! Go see Alyssa at the bar!

This place is a little sketchy but the food was ok. Came in with my 11 year old son around 6:00 on a Saturday, hoping to watch the Rangers and get some wings (this places was recommended). I got a burger, kid got wings since that's what he wanted. I get that this isn't Buffalo Wild Wings and you don't have 100 different seasonings, but when the server said they only come one way, I was a little surprised. She said the sauce was mild, but my son said it was way too hot for him and he usually likes hot stuff. My burger was fine, nothing special but it was cooked right and tasted good, and the margaritas were above average. On to the music. At 6:00 on a Saturday with other families and kids in the restaurant, I wouldn't expect to hear explicit hip-hop at a high volume. I could see another family with little kids and they looked uncomfortable as were we. I asked another guy if he could change it and he said it was being controlled by customers and they were picking the songs. The crowd was mostly older and white, so I found this a little surprising, but nothing we could do about it except suffer. A few country songs came on, then more hiphop, not the clean, radio version, the nasty n-word, b-word, p-word versions. I asked again if they could at least turn the music down and another person (manager, I think, had green hair) did something on her phone and it seems like she was able to skip past the really profane songs. Also, why do you take someone's credit card when they first sit down "to get you started." This seemed weird and I've never seen this done. I told the server I wasn't starting a tab, we were here for dinner. She said she does that so I don't have to wait for her at the end. Strange, but ok. Obvoisouly the bar can't control the music their patrons pick, but maybe just a sign somewhere to save the nasty hip hop until after the families left. Then there was a the guy swearing up a storm outside; my son was passing by to get something out the car and his GF said "hey, calm down, there's a kid over there," to which he replied he didn't give a F who was around. Super classy. I think this was the same dude that was having sex with his GF in the car in the parking lot was we were leaving, at 7:00, broad daylight.

Went with family for karaoke on Saturday night. Got there and sat down and was asked for my id. Indicated that I was not drinking, so wondered why my id was needed? I asked why and Adam indicated because they were a "private establishment" they had to scan id's. Brings back the id with a piece of paper and pen wanting us to sign it to give them permission to hand our information over to a third party. If this is your policy, fine but it should be noted somewhere in your information about your business that this is a practice and in detail how this information is being used and who it is going to. Will not be going back due to not feeling comfortable just giving my information to a third party.

Bartenders were on point! Brooke was never behind and kept everyone in good spirits. Service and food were great. Neighborhood vibes, for sure! Happened in on Wednesday Karaoke and was not disappointed.

I'll start with the service, bartender was awesome. She was busy stocking but was very attentive. The BLT was good, but needed another piece of bacon or 2. Onion rings are always good. Draft beer was cold.

I work at Hall Park and wanted to eat lunch today. Walked in and seated myself. I sat for 5 minutes without seeing any servers or bartenders. There were many customers seated and I noticed that no one had food. Since I have a limited lunch break, I walked down to Pure Poke and was immediately greeted and had a great lunch. How do you do business with no one taking care of business? ‍

A late night post-Rough Riders drinking binge at the most local of watering holes this side of the DFW area. The staff was pretty flexible with our last minute al fresco dining decision. They seemed to have some band/karaoke situation on a random weekday, will need to head back again.

So I went with my sexy boo on the Vespa to have a beer and watch some for football. It's next to one of my favorite coffee shops so thought we would explore a bit. The place seems to have quite a few locals, but they seemed pretty friendly. So the bartender, a Chucky blonde with long hair, did not crack a single smile once..... Pretty bad when you are working for tips. We didn't even order food.... Just seemed like a chore to take our order. The music was a bit loud and not a lot of big TV's for sports. There are so many other places to go to watch a game....... Probably would not return.

What a fun place to catch up with friends and have a few cocktails. The live band that played the day I went were really good and fun. The fried pickles here are really good. Definitely a fun place.

Britney the bartender is awesome!! She owned that bar no matter how busy it got. The loaded fries were meh. The ground beef that you pay extra for, came out in a few chunks, not crumbled throughout. Won't order it again. If I ever return, I hope Britney is still there!!

Wow trying to be fare but they make it hard to give them 2 stars. The live band sounds like they have never played together before. The waitress brought my food no napkin or silverware, I had to ask for it at the bar. No salsa nor sauce or flavor on the quesadillas. Luckily the bar hop came and cleaned the crusty, sticky table half way through my meal. Now I sit here, no one has been by for over 27 minutes meanwhile waitress across the room visiting, laughing living her best life! I guess I will ask the bartender for my ticket, I don't know?

This may be a slightly biased review as the Frisco Bar is also a 49ers bar during game days! It is awesome having most, if not all the tvs on the game with sound. The group here is great and there is a waitress that tends specifically to the fans (as well as some more waiters). I've been here several times, only on game days though, and I must say, their service has improved every time I have been there. I tried their turkey wrap this past game day and it was really good. I needed some kick to it so they were more than glad to add some jalapeños in there for me. Note this is a bar so they carry all sorts of bar food (burgers, wraps, pizza, wings, etc) but also items like lumpia. The food for bar standards is great!

If I could give The Frisco Bar 10 stars, I would. This is my favorite bar, mainly because the service here has always been incredible. Our server, JoJo, was SPECTACULAR. We had a pretty large group with us and he took care of each and every one of us. His kindness and his attentiveness does not go unnoticed!!! I also would like to point out that the food here has always been so good. I tried out the nachos this evening and I think I fell in love. Also, the sliders are delicious: fresh and delicious! Most of all, I love the service that The Frisco Bar provides because it is exceptional.

The Frisco Bar and Grill is my new go to for watching sports and having a cold beverage. The appetizer sampler was the perfect amount and variety including house made lumpia rolls. The bar and grill was properly staffed, the service was superb, the food delicious, and the drinks were reasonably priced. The bar and restaurant area had new decor and the bathrooms were clean.

Was sitting at the bar for 15min I walked away to go to car they looked at me I came back and sat there for 10min r min and NOTHING it was not even busy and no service

Management, well, 'cept for Tony , food, servers, atmosphere are all second to none. Great hangout with great food and peeps! I always get their Buffalo chicken Sandwich (dope), but my baby wanted wings last night... they were the real deal! See ya soon brother.

It was simply okay! The drinks were generous but average. The fried pickles were salty! Server was nice and attentive.

Best 49er family! If your interested in having a good fun time with 49er fans, this is the place to be. Family's, kids, everyone is welcomed! They even have the best raffle prizes!

First time to the new location. Still a nice bar to visit. I went to see a band. I don't think the stage area is any bigger. In fact I think it's a little smaller than before but I could be mistaken. Staff were friendly . I've not had a chance to try the food yet so looking forward to going back for another visit to try the menu.

Always a good place to meet local friends for drinks and appetizers - right combination of "dive bar" and "fun, energetic atmosphere". On Karaoke Nights, there are some really good singers - but I watched them encourage those who were "not yet there" but were courageously trying. Appetizers are done very well - l recommend grabbing a sampler with friends and then reordering the ones you like. The service is courteous and fast - I've never had to wait long to get a drink. The management and the owner are frequently there and walking around to make sure people are having a good time - true sign of a well-run establishment!

Recommend for the karaoke. Only local place to go now. The staff is great. The KJ is awesome. Snacky bar food is good for fried munchies.

I always come here after work or for a casual lunch meeting. Service is great, owner is fantastic, food is good, and I really have no complaints. Will continue to be a regular here.

My girlfriend and I stopped by this place Because it's close to our work. It Looks very nice and spacious. Great looking patio and the Appearance of the restaurant looks great. The servers are nice and the food was great all around. Kinda pricey for anything food related. But there drinks are fair and it makes up for it well. Overall a great experience

Really appreciate the response Adam. I agree that there was a communication breakdown on both parts. We stopped back in this afternoon and truly had the "Where old friends meet and new friends are found" experience. I appreciate the ongoing specials and will be sure to clarify any new or updated pricing up front in the future. Thank you!

Here's what kind of bar this place is. We went there and suggested they add some comfy couches. A group of us explained that we want a place as comfortable as our homes. Three weeks later...a whole bank of couches are lined up. What?!?! Frisco Bar management listens to their customers. Pours are healthy. Staff is great. I never need another pub. Join is!!!

Coworker wanted to go here for lunch yesterday so I tagged along. It's within walking distance of our building so super convenient. Hardly any vegan options. And I can normally find or tweak menus. The typical go to vegan items: fries, salad minus certain toppings and chips and salsa. It's kind of like a Chili's or Applebee's. Our server was rude. We walked in and the place was mostly empty but we seemed to have interrupted his conversation. I ended up getting chips and salsa and added a side of guac. Wasn't awful but wasn't great either. Other coworkers got cheese fries, chicken tenders, salads. Half seemed okay with the food. The other half said it was meh. If I had to go here again I would with coworkers. But I wouldn't suggest it.

The sole purpose for our trip to Frisco Bar was the karaoke alone and it did not disappoint. This past week karaoke was on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday starting at 8:00 and I'm not quite sure if it's the same each week. When it first started the crowd seemed pretty thin but around 8:45 it really got packed and fun! Jason was the DJ and he did awesome keeping things exciting. Can't wait to go back and sing more songs with the Frisco Bar family! FYI- their Moscow mule is delightful and refreshing.

First week of school done! We survived and it was a success! Of course we decide it's time for happy hour right after school (or as we call it: "choir practice") Someone chose this place so I'll head over not knowing where it was but thanks to wase I got there pretty fast. I noticed there weren't a lot of parking spots so I had to park a bit far and walk. I get inside and the place it's pretty full at 5:30pm on a Friday evening. It's also pretty loud. I find my group and of course I check in on yelp! I immediately received a free appetizer with the purchase of two drinks. WIN!! Thank you yelp! I ordered the nachos with "sirloin steak" and a beer. Others in the table ordered the loaded fries and the quesadillas. Let's just say that I was extremely happy with the fact that I didn't have to pay for those nachos. The value was 12$ and honestly they were garbage. The cheese felt so processed that we couldn't even get one chip from the plate. The "sirloin" felt like a very cheap taco meat and the guacamole was worse than taco bueno's. My friend ordered a 10$ mojito that wasn't more than a glorified lemonade. She told the waitress the drink was too weak. The waitress takes it back, no apologies btw, and then after a while someone else brings her a new drink that was a little better than the first one. She of course was charged the whole 10$ for that drink. We didn't understand what was the hype about this place. Food - crap, service- blah and ambiance-loud. Then we heard this place tends to be a "meat market " lol. Which explains why the food was so bad- no one really goes for the food!!

Great local pub !!! Fun, convenient, food good and drinks are cold !! karaoke and live music are always great here !!

Just a bar. Nothing fancy but not a horrible establishment. $15 beer Bucket. No matter where you get a bucket, the price will suck. Waiting for the place that gives 6 beers in a bucket. A man can dream.

Been coming here since Day 1 of there first opening. Great neighborhood bar. Meet the staff. Owners/managers = good people. Cheers!

Just popped in for some appetizers today, unfortunately nothing too special (frozen Ben-e-Keith stuff). It wasn't bad by any means, just kinda standard. However, our server, Matt, was on the ball and super personable! Great personality. The restaurant is clean and there are plenty of TVs! We will come back, new location is great and next time we will order some "real food" and give it a shot.

Drinks were yummy! Food was blah. There was only 1 waitress for the entire restaurant and attention to detail was lacking. May go back for drinks, but not food.

Fantastic service! Great manager! Great food! Couldn't ask for better service from the staff. If we had an issue they were there to fix it within seconds. We're new to the area and will definitely be back time and time again. Thanks again to Manager Adam!

This is the best place to have a drink and just chill! Good crowd, awesome bartenders and the pizza is killer. If you like an old fashioned, get Chuba to make you one behind the bar. Best you'll ever have!!!

Food was fresh and well prepared. Sweet potato fries were excellent. And beer was very cold. Sat at the bar and service could not have been better. We will be back!!
