Front Room was a very cute and cozy restaurant in the heart of West Loop. It had a strong New Orleans influence that really made it a unique spot.
The food was all quite tasty, again it was their take on New Orleans cuisine I did wish there was a little bit more of a Cajun oomf to it, but it was all quite delightful.
Their cocktails were well balanced and strong, but I did feel they were overpriced for the neighborhood while the food was very fairly priced for the amount of food you received.
Finally, there was live music which is both a delight and a drawback. The group we saw while there was great, but the space was small so when they really kicked it up it got extremely loud and you couldn't hear the person you were dining with at all.
Would I go back? Yes absolutely, but I think I'd do things a bit different next time I do just learning from the first visit.
