This place truly exceeded my expectations. At first glance, I anticipated an average experience, but The Garage proved to be anything but. The food was fantastic—my wife and I both created different burgers that were outstanding. They were grilled to perfection, juicy, and charred just right. The fries were sublime, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The beer selection was excellent, served ice-cold, and the cocktails were a delightful surprise. Despite being busy, the bartender managed everything superbly and even took time to chat with us. We’re definitely planning to return!

First time being here in years and it was so freaking delicious. Everyone that works there is super nice as well our food came super fast!! Best bar and grill experience I’ve came across.

Great food and absolutely amazing service from Melissa B the Bartender/Waitress. This was our 1st time and when I asked if I could substitute next time from one of the predesigned burgers from pork belly to bacon as my pork belly was a bit fatty. She apologize for that and offered to take off the cost for the pork belly. I told her it wasn’t necessary because pork belly can often be fatty, but I really appreciated the offer and her willingness to try to make a happy customer, even if it wasn’t necessary. That gesture will have me coming back. The rest of the burger was great, so was my son’s. The been was cold and it had a laid back atmosphere. Love it. New favorite burger joint.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've had a burger that actually makes me so happy to eat over and over again 😋If you want a good burger or a great place to chill while you have a couple of drinks! Then this is the place! They are so welcoming when you come in and their food always will make you satisfied when you leave! So please stop into the garage and I promise you won't leave unsatisfied!

Can’t wait to go back. Fried pickles were excellent - different than your typical batter. Pepper Jack squares and Jalepeno bites were just ok. Fried ravioli was pretty good. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. So many options, but the Whitewall Hula was excellent! Flavorful stuffed patty cooked perfectly and all the toppings worked so well together! I liked that you fill out your own menu - helped to keep the orders straight. Service was great and everything arrived to the table perfectly.

First time going there. The. Burger was really good. Just could of been cooked a little more. I usually only eat half a burger, but it was so good I ate the whole thing. The gouda bites were awesome.

The kitchen manager needs to get off his high horse and listen to his staff and make actual good burgers of the week instead of recycling old ones and just doing ham and cheese stuffed burgers every week. There's only one good cook that seasons food correctly. The bartenders are great. They all need to be paid more. The garage really isn't what it used to be and it's sad to see what it's become.

I used to frequent this place, at least once a week being I live a few blocks away. Food was much better before the fire. The first month or two after being re-opened, I expected some hiccups and kept coming back. The new kitchen staff, with the exception of Calvin, just don't seem to be too experienced. From overcooked burgers to almost completely rare burgers, you never know what you're gonna get. The "burger of the week" seems to have lost the creativity they once had. Also, why doesn't your flat top grill get cleaned DAILY??? I've been in right when the place opened and the stainless steel flat top is black. Those things need to be cleaned every single day, it's not a Blackstone that needs a seasoning layer. As for now, I'm unfortunately taking my burger needs elsewhere. Maybe I'll give it another shot 6+ months from now. I've maybe eaten 3 or 4 good burgers out of probably 20 since they re-opened. Sad to see such a great place go so far down hill. No wonder the parking lot is almost always empty, except on bingo night. Lol

Stopped in with my mother to try something new. The place is a little darker, but nice for a meal. There is a full bar, but we did not order a drink. We ordered chicken strips, a hamburger with fries and a pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw. We got our meals, but no coleslaw. It's ok we enjoyed our food. The serving size was enough to have some left over to bring home. Our server Brianna was attentive and kind. Knowledgeable and happy to offer up her favorites and best seller.

When we arrived the place was empty. We ordered our food and waited. First out was the Pretzel Basket with cheese. These were served hot and were delicious. Then the meals a burger no filling with fries and a pork sandwich with lettuce, tomato, raw onions side of fries and coleslaw. The place is a little dimmer which is nice for relaxing when eating. Our server was nice, food was hot and tasty, but it's kind of a turn off when employees are on their phones a bit too often.

It is such a cool place. The staff were so awesome. I loved that you could actually order yourself exactly the kind of burger you want. It was a little shock that you are charged for almost every item you want to put on your burger but it was not outrageous. The fries were awesome. Next time I will definitely do the Parmesan fries. The beer was delicious after all everyone loves a Blue Moon with an orange slice of course. Absolutely 100% will be back again.. So what are you waiting for?! You will be glad you did.

This place isn't the cheapest but well worth the money. Delicious burgers - and one of the few places that actually can cook a burger medium rare. Friendly attentive staff too. Was great before the fire and even better after the rebuild. If you're in Ktown and looking for a good burger, stop in here.

Was in the area with my friend and decided to check this place out since they have good ratings. We were not disappointed! The place was packed and we loved the burgers we ordered. Burgers were very filling and we had a hard time finishing it all. Staff was very nice and the place seemed like a great location to meet up with a group of friends.

I normally don't go into bars' but this place was highly recommended, so we went. It was the nicest place I've been in, in a long time, service was great, I had the best burger and fries ever, and the prices are reasonable.

First time visit and I'm meeting and I'm meeting my kids. This place is a bar... but their food is not just bar food. It's really good. The service was great even though the bartender was also the server. He was patient and positive. Great attitude and friendly. The bar is bar like... very bar centric. That is ok. Not what I was expecting but it was nice and it was clean. I liked this place. I'll come back. You should try it.

Food was amazing the ambiance even better. Karaoke night was a blast. I would love to have this place right around the corner to enjoy more often.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner and had another great experience. This was our second visit, and I'm glad we decided to return. I had a cheeseburger, and she went with the pulled pork sandwich--both were delicious. Hats off to the chef; my burger was outstanding. Our server, who was also the bartender, was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. The service was quick, making the whole experience even better!

Food and service are both awesome. The burgers cost a little more but every time it's so good and cooked to perfection.

We recently moved to the area and found The Garage when my 84 year old mom was craving a burger. They truly delivered one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! The outside was seared to perfection with a nice crispness and the burger was so juicy. Our family has already been back multiple times necessary it truly is the best burger in the area!

Amazing burgers! Amazing service! We were recommended this place by a bunch of locals that visit our casino. So of course, always in search of good food we checked it out on a Friday Night. Ample parking, easy to get to, and just fun. Amazing bartenders! Amazing music selection! A fun wheel spin for prize drinks! We started with a sample platter because we wanted to try everything. The Mac n cheese bites with the zesty ranch sauces were so delicious! The mozzarella sticks, crispy shell, and perfect cheese melt inside. Deep fried pickle fan!? Perfect texture and taste! No mush! Poutine!? Yep they had it, thought I was in Canada! The menu order list is always fun to read and find out what combo of burger to put together. I tried the Burger with cheese on the inside! Yes inside the burger! With fried ravioli on top! It was perfectly cooked! And the taste.... I can't wait to go back to try another.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Phenomenal stuffed burger made to order that were bursting with cheese and toppings. The hand cut fries were piping hot and well seasoned. You also Can't beat a $5 draft. Great service and delicious food!

I went to try the burger of the week. After requesting no jalapeño ranch on top, I was told that any changes made disqualifies me from getting the burger of the week entirely and I had to get a different burger. An absurd rule that not only disallows reasonable accommodations but also disregards any potential allergy concerns. Btw their online ordering allows you to add anything to the burger of the week. So glad to know I could have added peanut butter and an egg, but asking for no ranch is strictly forbidden.

They are reopened and back to normal business! Delicious juicy burgers, great sides and apps also. Recommend highly if you are visiting Kenosha.

First time here. I had a burger with grilled onions. My husband had pulled pork. Both were really good and seasoned well. We will be back.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I had a burger from here and it was dry. For the moment I'll only give it 2 stars for the size and cooked well done. I will try it again one day seeing how people from Kenosha like this place.

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday based on some reviews and photos we saw on Yelp. Cool little place right on a corner of a busy street. Staff was very friendly. We ordered some drinks, poutine and stuffed burgers. I really loved the poutine, the gravy is what made super delicious. The stuffed burgers were good, however it was disappointing that the stuff inside was not hot and melty. I've had an original juicy Lucy in Minnesota and what made it amazing was the hot molten cheese that oozed out of the middle. These burgers would be amazing if the insides were melty delicious. Although the menu states the burgers are cooked medium, I feel that a stuffed burger needs to be cooked longer to melt the stuff on the inside. Overall experience was pleasant.

I have been really looking for a great burger and the garage definitely has great burgers. My server was excellent great energy wonderful welcoming.. great atmosphere!

We love our burgers in the Midwest. Beef, bread, cheese, any of these things we will gladly cape-up and defend at a moment's notice. The coasts just don't understand them the way that we do. To this day I firmly and truly believe that. And so I am not surprised that there are places like the Garage serving up delicious meat slabs stuffed with cheese on toasted buns that you could easily drive right on by without even noticing at all. Let's talk about it. My family lives in Kenosha. So I have heard tales of local dives that I absolutely must check out. Most of them are simply meh. But not The Garage. The first thing that I noticed about this spot is that they have beer. Lots, and lots of beer. Local, craft, commercial, there is truly something for everyone. I have asked the wait staff for suggestions based on a couple of different preferences and each time they have delivered exactly what I am looking for. It is quite impressive. The food is also really, really good. For some reason everyone in the Midwest now defaults their burgers and steaks to medium-well. Which seems super weird to me. But whatever, we will make sure ours never comes to the table a sniff of well. I usually order the regular patty stuffed with cheddar and topped with bacon and onions, medium-rare. And I have to say, it is not the best burger that I have ever had. I am not entirely sure it is even in the top 10. But it is absolutely dripping with flavor. And grease. While it is a fantastic bite, I will say the one list of mine it undoubtedly does top is greasiest burger I have ever had. Make sure that you get a lot of extra napkins. You're gonna need it! Overall I think that The Garage is my favorite joint to check out when I visit the fam. The staff are great, the food is delicious, and the beer is absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for an affordable, tasty, and filling meal in the area, I think that you would be hard pressed to top this spot. Check it out!

Extensive menu with awesome gourmet burger options or build your own. Loved that you could make it a mash bowl or lettuce wrap. The kids loved the chicken tenders!

This is a great little bar with delicious hamburgers, they just reopened not that long ago and still hits like it used too. Be careful it can get pricey with all the add ons.

Yah boy. Got there right when they opened. Grill was getting fired up. There was only myself and another guy so try e bartender took care of all our drinking and eating needs. Food was delicious and lots of it. You won't be disappointed.

After shopping at Premium Outlets, the choices were - have lunch at Culver's (down the street and not bad), eat at Gurnee Mills (they closed my favorite Mexican restaurant there) or drive back and eat someplace close to home. Or, should we try something different, something new? On Yelp, the Garage has a respectable rating and reviews for burgers and it was just 4.3 miles away on zero traffic roads - yes why not!!! Located on a corner and with plenty of parking, it was a breeze to get in. We were given a friendly greeting (I had my Chicago Bears hat on) and we realized that it was 1) Cash only and 2) you check off a list to order your burger. Plenty of seating and at least 3 flat screens to watch a few games. As for the food, the Plow burger had pulled pork, an over-easy egg, raw onion and a nice sized patty - I devoured it!!! The coleslaw was more tart than sweet, I like KFC coleslaw. The burger of the day came with cheese curds and a brat sausage on top - that was really good too. The sweet potato fries were a dollar extra. A little pricey but the ambiance, decor and scrumptious burgers - all made it an awesome visit. We'll be back for more, after enduring our Premium Outlets shopping.

I'm so glad the garage is back up and running. Their burgers are the best. The staff is courteous and food comes quickly.

You cannot get much better than this place, even cooking at home. This was my first time here as one of my great nieces wanted to go here and I was pleasantly surprised about "The Garage". I had the stuffing of jalapeno peppers and pepper jack cheese and they made it rare the way burgers should always be served. Needless to say I will be going back again to try some other combinations. Eric was our server and he did a great job with all the orders we had placed. Bring CASH or use the ATM as they take CASH only.

Amazing burgers, I've never been disappointed. Restaurant is not very big and can be loud at times, but definitely worth it! This is one of my favorite burger places in Kenosha.

Basically all their burgers are stuffed. The only problem is they don't seem to grill the burgers long enough to melt the cheese or meat that's inside of said burger. This is extremely important... Aside from that, this place seems to be more show than go. Nothing really notable aside from their schtick. Better food means more stars. Sorry.

I love how you could have your burger on a salad or a wrap. Customized with everything or anything you want. Stuffed or unstuffed burgers. Service is always pretty quick and the employees are all nice.

If you love burgers, you need to try this place. Wow!!!! Amazing. You can pick one of their creations or build your own. You pick what to stuff inside (that's right INSIDE) then you pick what to place outside, the sauce, and the side!!!

So happy The Garage is back! Service was great, food was yummy! We had the pulled pork nachos and fried pickles appetizer delicious! Can't wait to go back and have a burger when I'm hungrier! Beer selection very nice, something for everyone!

Oh I love a good cheeseburger, and my fellow yelppers never disappoint. I drove there thinking where in the heck are we going, as it felt like a scene from the walking dead set where everything was abandoned and the city was taken over by zombies. Ok so into the Garage, forget driving to Minnesota for a Juicy Lucy, they make them here and The Garage version is better! We got a Hawaiian Burger and holy Maui it was awesome. Grab the slaw and Parmesan fries and sip it down with an IPA. The beer selection was extensive and their mixed drinks come in Mason jars, Yes Please! They only take cash, so be prepared. That's it for me I'm in a burger coma. Peace love and Beef be with you.

Terrible service, and place looks terrible, and food was just ok. Probably never go back, but seems like a lot of people love it. That's why I checked it out. Good luck.

First timers... Found on Yelp, figured we'd ck it out for a casual drink and nosh. A little, indiscreet place with, what looked like, mostly "locals", (because many knew eachother) with some bar and narrow bar-height stool seating, brings you up-close-and-personal with other patrons. Loud music, a few TVs showing Brewers and MMF along with some wall kitch, gives the visitor lots of stimulation. Ordered a stuffed burger with the jalapenos and pulled pork, topped with an egg... it was really good, and tasty. I would definitely order that again. The home fries were somewhat disappointing. It looked as if I got the bottom of the barrel. Also ordered one of the fried appetizers that included three different sauces to dip in. Call this one above average. Beer draft selections are small but decent, covering most beer categories. Make sure you bring cash because they do not take any credit cards.

Okay, but nothing here is "to die for." ;-P These people are trying. But on a Sunday afternoon when some people might still be nursing a hangover ... just sayin' ... the music was too loud. The burgers were okay, but not great. And a little undercooked for the suggested medium doneness. The draft beer list was short and uninspired, and at up to $6 for a 12 oz. serving in a mason-type jar, really pricey. Bottom line: for $40 for two burgers, two beers, and tip, I'm looking for a lot more joy.

Everyone there was super friendly and inviting. The build your own burgers were so much fun! So many delicious toppings/fillings options. Burgers were all cooked to perfection. Smaller place with a cozy feel. Can't wait to come by and try out another burger.

This place is still open for carry out. Honestly the best burger I've ever had in a long time. They also serve other sandwiches, and various other bar bites. Staff is courteous, and serve generous portions. They have a full bar (closed until this virus pandemic is over), outdoor seating, and plenty of parking available. Can't wait to try this place and "dine in"after these trying times. A must try! They open at 11:00 AM.

Everything I had here was really good. I got my burger as a mash bowl which is basically no bun. I built my own with bacon and cheese inside the burger and some BBQ sauce to go with. The burger was very juicy and the seasoning was really good. I didn't feel like I even needed the sauce. I had sweet potato fries as my side. Also good and a large serving of them. I would definitely go here again next time I'm in the area.

I have wanted to eat here for over a year and was excited to finally stop in for lunch. I was disappointed. 1. My burger was raw, not rare but raw. When they cook it again they forgot the toppings and the cheese stuffing melted out. 2.The "seasoned" fries have only salt on them like normal fries, no seasoning. 3.The beer selection is minimal and the don't tell you they have other cans of beer behind the bar. The waitress was nice but the experience was bad. For a similar menu you are better off at Grabs or Captain Mike's.

BEST BURGER EVER!!! The Bronco burger is the greatest burger I've ever had. The combination of burger, pulled pork and BBQ sauce is heavenly. The wife loves the El Camino. Five Stars!!! BRING CASH!!!
