The Glampisphere @ The Air Conditioned Lounge

A true hidden-gem venue in San Diego! Do not hesitate to book for your party! My husband and I hosted a baby shower party at the Glampisphere this past weekend, and cannot say enough great things about the space, the booking/coordination experience, and the actual event experience on the day-of. The space itself is full of bright colors, natural light, and was perfect for our rave-themed baby shower. We were able to use both the Glampisphere patio and the main indoor Air Conditioned Lounge space during our event, which offered flexibility for us and our guests. We had about 40 people attend, a full taco bar setup, and still had a ton of room for additional guests if we had needed it. Many of our guests commented on how awesome the venue was. The bar packages were really flexible, drink prices very reasonable, and the drinks were delicious! They even had a full mocktail menu, which I appreciated as the momma-to-be. :) Gary was such a star in this whole experience as well. He was a pleasure to work with leading up to the event and on the day of. He was always responsive to my questions and you could tell he truly cared that we had a successful event and a great time. He was very helpful during the event, helping direct our couple of vendors as they arrived, and getting us setup with the bar sound system. He even went out of his way to remember many of our guests names that he met on the day of the party, which I thought was really kind and thoughtful. The Glampisphere was the absolute perfect space for our unique baby shower, and I hope to have an excuse to do another party there in the future. Thank you for everything, Gary!!

I worked with Gary to plan and execute a 50th birthday party this month. It was a great experience. Gary was extremely communicative, easy to work with, and was overall a great partner. He was a teammate to me and we worked together to make all of the client's requests come to life. We troubleshot AV issues together and worked dynamically as the night went on. And not to mention, the space was perfect. I could not recommend working with Gary and The AC Lounge more!

Gary and his team are absolutely fantastic! I booked the Glampisphere for an office celebration, and it was truly the perfect venue to hold an event. The space was vibrant, spacious, and had everything we needed to make the day special. Gary generously let us use the entire venue, which gave us so much flexibility with our setup and activities. From start to finish, the event was seamless thanks to Gary and his incredible staff. Everyone on the team was extremely helpful, friendly, and wonderful to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests were well taken care of. I couldn’t recommend the Air-Conditioned Lounge more highly for any type of event!

I was lucky to have Lorena be the event coordinator for my 50th Bday. I was running late with my set up and she went above and beyond to help me get it all ready before my guests came, as well as the rest of the evening. My guests, as well as myself had a great time and I couldn't be more appreciative. My guests were also stunned by the venue, even those who had been to AC Lounge before. Having the event and how it opened up with incredible access with the bar inside was incredible.

I was fortunate enough to be able to host a celebration here for about 50 of my closest friends in July 2024. From when we first reached out to Gary to when we were leaving the venue, the friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. Communicating with the owner was easy as he was very responsive to all emails, providing clear answers to every question we had. If we needed to tour the space, he was more than happy to show us around. This level of communication made the planning process smooth and stress-free. The venue was also very accommodating, allowing our food vendors to arrive early for setup, even though it wasn’t required. This extra flexibility made a huge difference and contributed to a seamless event. Some venues are very strict on when they let people in so if one of the vendors came early, they would have had to just wait around. Gladly this was not the case! The staff were cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the space right up until the time the event started and then left us alone to do our thing. The host would occasionally check in on us to make sure if everything was going well or if we needed anything from him. The venue does have a small charge per person if you bring outside food vendors, but it gave us the flexibility to bring in food that we knew the attendees would enjoy. They have multiple options for drinks at the bar, we went with setting up a bar tab and when that limit was reached, people paid for their own drinks which is simple enough to manage. Overall, I do not have any regrets about booking my event here. Everything went smoothly and we all had a great time.

We recently had our holiday party at this venue and it was amazing! The Glampisphere is a great space to host your event! Lorena set up lights, the fire pit, and heaters for us and it looked so magical. She went above and beyond by snapping photos of the group all night and made a great IG reel for us! Lorena made planning this event so simple and was there for any needs throughout the whole event. 100% recommend this venue for your next event! We will be back!

I used the Glampisphere to host an event, and it was perfect. The spacing is great in both the indoor and outdoor areas. The bar and drinks are also really good and the staff. Several of my guests asked about renting out the space for their own event. So, I think it's an awesome spot overall.

You can easily enjoy this space for any type of occasion, from an engagement party to birthday party, it is a great spot to escape your troubles and enjoy your celebration entirely.
