"Part art deco bakery, part homage to Alice In Wonderland, The Glass Knife is a new spot in Winter Park that serves just about every sweet you can imagine, from pistachio orange donuts to a chocolate raspberry tart. Each of their baked goods is decorated by hand and you’ll likely see a lot of people taking photos of their desserts. However, if you come with someone who isn’t really into sweets, this place also has a full brunch and lunch menu with things like breakfast sandwiches, salads, and flatbreads available for the savory-only people in your life. photo credit: The Glass Knife" - Maddy Zollo Rusbosin

During a recent visit to Winter Park, we stumbled upon this charming spot. The exterior alone caught our attention, and after reading glowing reviews, we were eager to give it a try. Upon entering, the atmosphere was just as beautiful as we’d hoped—bright, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The presentation of the baked goods was impressive, and the little shop featured some lovely items for sale. One of the standout features was that they’re pet-friendly, which was a pleasant surprise—this is the first place I’ve seen that welcomes. Plus, the bathrooms were adorable, with a large mirror perfect for taking a few photos. Unfortunately, our experience with the food didn’t quite live up to the high expectations set by the ambiance. It’s possible we arrived later in the afternoon, but the donuts were disappointingly dry, stale and overly sweet—mainly tasting of sugar. My coffee, too, was served cold, which was a letdown. However, there was one shining star on the menu: the hazelnut pastry (I believe that’s the name of it but for reference I put the picture). It was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors that wasn’t too sweet, allowing the richness of the flavors to really shine through. It was the highlight of my visit, and I’d definitely recommend it. Overall, while the atmosphere and some offerings were lovely, I hope to return earlier in the day for a fresher experience with the baked goods and coffee.

I had an exceptional dining experience at The Glass Knife. Our server, Sky, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Not only was she friendly and attentive, but she also took the time to help me choose dishes that fit my dietary needs. Her recommendations were spot on, and her knowledge and thoughtfulness truly elevated the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for the fantastic service and Sky!

The Ruth Chris of donuts! I ordered a dozen donuts for a meeting and they were a show stopper. Wow what presentation, each donut is a little masterpiece. So pretty you don’t want to eat them. Very intricate details and flavors. My favorite was the apple fritter.

Google
A cozy and elegant spot. The crème brûlée coffee is a must-try. I don't know its their signature coffee but should be ! Not great place for having full breakfasts, but ideal for relaxing with a treat. The menu is very limited, yet is a good spot for coffee, light work, or just unwinding. The service was ok for the flow of the restaurant. That's why I put two stars 🌟 doesn't mean it was bad.

We were in the area for lunch and wanted to find somewhere for a good cup of coffee. When we parked and entered The Glass Knife I was a little apprehensive about our choice. I thought, "oh no, is this just a sit down cafe?" No! It's not! Feel free to go right in and up to the cake/treat countertop to order yourself a multitude of freshly made drinks: coffee, hot chocolate, chai latte, matcha, spiced drinks, tea, etc. While you wait for your order, you can browse the cute knickknacks. As it's close to Christmas, there were beautiful ornaments and other festive decor to choose from. All in all, this was a happy find. I've saved it to my Google maps foods to come back and eat a light brunch and enjoy some of those amazing looking pastries.

Google
Definitely encountered some pros and cons today, but ultimately I still think this is a good place for a weekend brunch experience. The pros: the crème brûlée cortado is the best and prettiest coffee drink I’ve ever had. I love everything about it! Cracking the brûlée was satisfying and the flavor and texture of the cortado were top tier! The banana fritter was amazing— nice natural banana flavor, and I loved the peanut butter cream which complimented it perfectly! My server was very friendly and checked in on me just the right amount. The cookie butter donut was also delicious! The cons: the eggs Benedict really did nothing for me. The biscuit was dry, there wasn’t much ham (and I would have preferred it sliced thicker), and the hollandaise was way too tart. I know hollandaise is supposed to be a lil tangy, but this stuff was so sour it almost tasted spoiled. I also didn’t love the crème brûlée donut. The brûléed top was soft (unlike the brûléed top on my cortado which I was able to crack with my spoon) and the donut was overly salty tasting. As much as I enjoyed the banana fritter, I do wish there was more peanut butter cream on it (and I’m also not sure why the dollop on my donut looked so messed up). Lastly, my server forgot to bring me silverware and I had to get up and find someone to bring me some.

I came here with my husband for brunch and the food, service and atmosphere was perfect! Sky was our lovely waitress that made the experience a pleasant one for us. The wait to be seated and for our food was minimal. I had the pimento cheese croissant as well as the pumpkin latte cake and the flavor profiles were amazing. I have been here before and had a similar experience and plan to come back again!

Google
Considering moving to Winter Park just so I can come here every day. No, but seriously everything was amazing. The ham and cheese croissant was the best croissant I’ve ever had in my life. The coffee was delicious and the pastry was heavenly. Bonus was our server Sky was so pleasant and helpful!

Yelp
Great service and food. Our server (Sky) was excellent. The outdoor patio provided a comfortable environment with a good overall vibe. The brownie was delicious.

Yelp
Taste: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 The Glass Knife offers beautifully crafted pastries, cakes, and desserts that are as delicious as they are stunning. They also offer a variety of breakfast options, sandwiches, and quiches, making it a great spot for weekend brunch. Food was tasty and beautifully prepared and our server was very friendly. The interior is sleek and modern, with a bright and inviting atmosphere. They offer both indoor and covered outdoor seating and dogs are welcome outdoors. They also have cute items for sale, I happened to pick up a puzzle on my visit.

Yelp
This pastry was really out of this world. The texture of everything was truly wonderful, from the creamy firmness of the chocolate truffle surrounding the deliciously juicy - not overly sweet, but just right and tart - raspberry purée. The biscuit casing was well made, not too crumbly, not too sweet, not excessively rich either. This was excellent and though I could not eat the whole thing at once, it was one of those desserts I cannot say I will be soon to forget. The Glass Knife is a wonderful restaurant, very clean, festive, and the service has been pretty wonderful most times I've been there!

John M.

Yelp
The Glass Knife is an amazing place for desserts with an amazing ambiance and vibe. The service is top notch and the whole experience was as a whole pretty spectacular. If you are looking for a truly amazing experience, I would definitely recommend the Glass Knife.

Taylor M.

Yelp
First time at The Glass Knife and I left a little disappointed. The food, once we got it, was amazing! Lots of options and the flavors were spot on. The service was lacking though. It felt like we were ignored. We got there right when they opened and there was only two other tables there. The restaurant soon filled up and people just arriving were getting their drinks and food before we had been greeted. When we finally flagged someone down they stated our server was not at work yet and that's why we were waiting. Hopefully they fix this problem for future guests.

Yelp
I haven't' reviewed this place in five years. That's my statute of limitation, so here I am again. I came here one day after dinner to get some donuts. I heard this place had pretty good donuts. Ambiance is luxury-chic. You definitely feel fancy when you're inside, but in a chic way, like you should be holding a mimosa. Service was good. We did the counter service, but they were friendly. And at those counters were gobs and gobs of displayed desserts. Little cakes, donuts, whole cakes, various pastries. You'll want everything. The donuts themselves were pretty good. The PB&J was a work of art, complete with racing stripes down the middle. Just the right amount of jelly within, peanut brittle for perfect texture on top, a really good donut. The Cracker Jack one was a little bit of a let down. The Cracker Jacks and pretzel pieces it was adorned with got really soggy in the chocolate and cream they were stuck on, really killing the idea of the texture it was supposed to add. And on top of that, the salted caramel cream on top was lacking on the flavor, leaving the whole thing bland. So, to recap, PB&J amazing, Crack Jack leave it behind. I will still give this place five stars, because I have stopped in a few times over the past five years, and they always have given me five star experiences. This was honestly the first time it let me down. So please, come give them your business.

Amanda S.

Yelp
This past week my friends and I went to The Glass Knife for our book club and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxing yet classy. The music added to that vibe. I had the Chocolate Big Wheel which was exactly as it sounds. :) I paired it with a Blood Orange Mimosa and the bubbles from the champagne paired well with the chocolate! The servers were quick and brought the food to the table after your order is placed at the counter. Highly recommend for a date night/girls night!

Brittany N.

Yelp
Pros: The ambiance is very luxurious. Everything is covered in glitter and gold. VIP booths. Perfect cakes staring back at you from display cases. Service is very prompt and doting. As for the donuts themselves, perfect. Not too little, not too much. Really nice, quality donuts. Cons: Not a single con. Some people might say price, but you do get what you pay for here. Tips: The donuts were really good, but if you're deciding between some, don't get any donuts were there are pretzels stuck on cream. The pretzels get really soggy and unpleasant.

Yelp
We recently visited The Glass Knife and tried three of their desserts. Two of them were great while one was lackluster. I ordered: * Pumpkin Spice Crème Brûlée Donut: A (Excellent! So silky and flavorful) * S'more Verrine: A- (Decadent, multi-layered winner) * Cookies and Crème - petite cake: C- (Mediocre, like what you'll find in a grocery store) There are so many supposedly delectable options in their menu. Some gorgeous desserts... Will be coming back!

Maya P.

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday after brunch and loved the atmosphere. It was a bit of a wait but that's expected on a weekend. We really enjoyed the homemade pop tart, strawberry pastry and brownie. I was very impressed with the selection and how cute the restaurant and presentation here is. I'll have to come back for brunch soon!

Aylin R.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning (10 am) & it was such a wonderful brunch!!! I ordered the croissant sandwich & it was soo flavorful (not spicy). I also ordered a lavender latte (it wasn't bad but the lavender flavor was all pooled on the bottom). I really like how there is a bakery & coffee bar so you can order those items without dining in! It is a little steep price point wise but the atmosphere is more on the classier side so I can justify it.

Rebecca V.

Yelp
Glass Knife is an amazing brunch spot if you know what to order. I avoid their sweets typically because they're overly sweet for my taste, but they have the best BLTs in town and their smores cortado and cookie butter latte have my heart. The staff is always uber friendly and welcoming and the store gives off a classy vibe whether you're sitting inside or out. It was a rainy day when I went and we were seated inside, but their is an automatic retractable awning that completely encases the outdoor area on rainy days.

Sarah W.

Yelp
A cute little cafe with some really elegant desserts! I went for dessert and drinks in the evening and tried the autumn sangria as well as the pumpkin latte cake and salted caramel brownie. The brownie was by far my favorite, it was sooo good and perfectly chewy. The pumpkin cake was also amazing but could definitely be shared, it was very sweet and indulgent. The sangria had great autumn flavors and was really enjoyable.

A. E.

Yelp
Swung by here for the first time to grab something sweet and loved it! I got a slice of the coconut cream cake. It was such a hard decision to make because everything looked so good but once I heard it was one of their most popular items I figured I had to. It was really good too. Staff was very friendly. Smaller inside than I expected. Excited to come back and get a treat and hang for a little bit.

Marie G.

Yelp
Truly one of my favorite places to get some coffee and pastries! I went right when it opened, so it wasn't too busy and parking was still good. The pastries and desserts were stunning and tasted good as well. The amount of sweetness was great, and it wasn't too heavy.

Cindy D.

Yelp
Cute cafe serving up drinks, lunch items, knick knacks, and desserts. The perfect cafe to get some work down and it has a designated parking lot! Strawberry matcha drink was delicious. The strawberries were fresh!

Delaney S.

Yelp
I have visited here in the past to get just desserts. However, this time was for lunch with friends. At lunchtime on a Monday, it was pretty busy inside. We all ordered the grilled cheese with tomato bisque, and I ordered an Arnold Palmer to drink. We took our number to an outside table and drinks and food came shortly after. I was worried about sitting outside on a hot summer day. However, the outside patio it completely covered, shaded, and breezy with all the fans going. It was quite enjoyable. The Arnold Palmer was one of the best I've ever had. The grilled cheese bread was extremely soft and thick. The cheeses were very melted and plenty. The bisque was flavorful and perfect for dipping my grilled cheese into. After a while, we decided to try some desserts. I ordered the chocolate coffee dessert. It was visually pretty and had a nice richness to it. The chocolate mousse was thick and creamy.

Thomas G.

Yelp
Glass Knife was pretty good. The desserts looked amazing, but the flavors didn't quite live up to the presentation. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was solid, but overall, it didn't really stand out. Worth a try if you're looking for an impressing looking dessert.

Anna T.

Yelp
Love the glass knife, located right on Mills 50, they have a nice large parking lot and lots of street parking so very accessible. The options are incredible and they have great drink options like tea, coffee, wine and beer. The desserts are delicious but a little on the pricey side so be prepared but I think it's worth it to get some works of art. The interior is beautiful and I have a large nice patio to sit outside as well. The service is great and they bring your selections to your table.

Austin K.

Yelp
We came here on a weekday night, and it was about half full so we could get a seat right away (5 of us). It was very comfortable. However, we thought that the desserts were overpriced for what it was. The blueberry dessert in particular was too cloying and we couldn't even finish it. They do have a points program and I wrapped enough on my first visit (I was paying for my friends) to have enough for a free dessert, so I tried a donut the next time, and again, not bad but overpriced.

Colette L.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try The Glass Knife for a while and I will say it did not disappoint. The inside has a cozy, kind of retro/luxury vibe and is super unique. You can order to go or be seated for full service. We opted for the full service to grab a meal and dessert. Our server was lovely and the service was efficient. I got the Cheddar Biscuit Sandwich Plate and Strawberry Lemonade Petite Cake. My boyfriend got the Pimento Cheese croissant. The food was amazing!! Everything was delicious and I highly recommend both the Cheddar Biscuit and Pimento Cheese croissant. Very filling and just so yummy. The cake was good, but not sure if I would get it again. However, they have a huge selection of desserts so you can definitely find just about anything you might want. We will definitely be back soon as the service was great and the food was fabulous!

Yelp
Celebrating National Doughnut Day at one of my favorite local establishments. The customer service is always great.

Mallory B.

Yelp
A fantastic spot that combines great food with a modern, chic atmosphere. The desserts are nothing short of spectacular, with creative and beautifully crafted options that taste as good as they look. The café's sleek, contemporary design creates a stylish and inviting environment, perfect for a relaxing treat or a casual hangout. Whether you're there for a coffee, pastry, or a full dessert experience, Glass Knife delivers quality and style in every bite. Highly recommended for those who appreciate fine sweets in a trendy setting!

Viktoriya M.

Yelp
Great brunch place with so many beautiful and delicious deserts! So hard to choose among all of the pastries. Savory dishes were great too.

Freddy B.

Yelp
A rainy day, we ended up at The glass knife... it's been a while and they never change. Great service, awesome pastries and for me a great cup of coffee. What made a difference was the service from Sky, Ask for her, she will make sure that you get what you need quick and with a smile. Today I had the affogato, the gelato and the expresso were perfect, and a warm croissant hit the spot!! You will enjoy your visit.

Amy F.

Yelp
Amazing, Absolutely Amazing. Delectable, Deliciously Delectable. Wonderful, Welcomingly Wonderful. All that describes the clean exterior, outside seating with multiple overhead fans, THE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN RESTROOMS, streak-free countertops, bakery displays to drool over *and* our food was like OH MY GOSH...so damn good!! My daughter and I swapped one half our sandwiches with each other so we could have a greater experience and again, OH MY GOSH. Everything was perfect including the staff (friendly but not intrusive- we dined in peace) and other patrons. The staff because they kept the dining area clean as diners left and other patrons because they offered smiles and conversation. And the bonus is the learning we gained on The Glass Knife, an instrument dating back to the early 1900's. If you've not been here, you should; and if you have, like my daughter and I - I'm thinking you'll return. THANK YOU TGK for providing a five star experience.

Torquiose W.

Yelp
Can we talk about the spooky donuts at the Glass Knife? The inside of the donut was literally purple! The Glass Knife is always a vibe and so is the service!

Nat R.

Yelp
the vibes, ambience, and food are nothing short of phenomenal and cozy - def would visit again

Erin S.

Yelp
How i adore the glass knife!! it can be a little crowded on the weekends so if your dropping by just for a coffee and pastry there is a to go line. We often sit down for breakfast and this is the best avocado toast in orlando. perfectly seasoned with a drizzle and salad on top!! 4 stars because it's really overpriced and the coffee is 7 dollars and a donut (although delicious) is 5 dollars. will i keep going back, yes am i aware it's overpriced, yes lol. The ambiance inside resembles a normal coffee shop, but the outdoor section is very nice especially in the morning! The irish cream iced coffee and the lavender espresso are my personal favorites.

Lucero S.

Yelp
The Glass Knife stands out as one of Winter Park's most sophisticated dessert destinations. Its allure is undeniable, both from the outside with its captivating exterior and inside with its elegant ambiance. Whether you're planning a girls' brunch or seeking a mid-afternoon coffee pick-me-up with a loved one, this spot delivers on atmosphere. However, while The Glass Knife offers a delightful experience, its prices leave something to be desired. While their coffee and desserts are certainly enjoyable, they don't quite reach the "wow" factor that justifies the high prices. Don't get me wrong; they're decent, but not the kind of treats that make you exclaim, "Oh my god, this is the best dessert I've ever tried." If The Glass Knife's desserts truly stood out as unparalleled delights, I'd gladly overlook the steep prices. But until then, there's room for improvement. Overall, it's a lovely spot with potential, but it falls short of being a top-tier dessert destination.

John P.

Yelp
Their cakes are beyond amazing ... They are the epitome of OMG !! Their only downfall, (if you can even call it that), they are very proud of their cakes and I absolutely abhor having to order online instead to talking to an actual person. But the food is unparalleled.....

Lena R.

Yelp
I have a confession. I've been keeping this place a secret, but I've had a change of heart! It's time for you to indulge your culinary curiosity at The Glass Knife (TGK), where each visit beckons an exploration of the entire menu. It's my personal mission to try everything on the menu! With an ambiance reminiscent of your favorite cinematic romance, TGK exudes an aura of culinary excellence. I've drove up to Orlando/Winter Park should I say about 6x as the allure proves irresistible, drawing me back time and again despite intentions to venture elsewhere in the area. On a recent rainy Saturday excursion, I found myself ensconced within TGK's enchanting atmosphere. Despite my best efforts to diversify my selections, I remain steadfastly loyal to the BLT and Roasted Turkey Club sandwiches. The BLT, features a crisp applewood smoked bacon, Bibb lettuce, marinated tomato, avocado, and peppercorn aioli delicately embraced within garlic toasted French bread, that simply elevates itself beyond the commonplace, asserting its dominance within its culinary category. I mean there's a lot of restaurants that offer BLT sandwiches, but this is like no other. Equally captivating is the Roasted Turkey Club, a ridiculously great masterpiece comprised of sliced turkey breast, cheddar cheese, Neuske applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, arugula, peppercorn aioli, and honey mustard, all embraced within a pretzel roll. The sandwich is accompanied by mom's icebox pickles, even a professed pickle skeptic such as myself finds a newfound appreciation for--seriously I hate pickles but these are great! While my commentary on TGK could easily extend into an entire dissertation, it would be remiss if I did not mention the desserts. The Hershey dessert tantalizes the taste buds with its richness, while the strawberry cake, despite its sweet appearance, surprises with its nuanced flavor profile. For those passing through Orlando/Winter Park a visit to TGK is imperative, offering not only an amazing array of sandwiches and desserts but also salads and coffee of commendable quality, according to my family and friends. Personally, I eagerly anticipate returning to try these offerings in the near future for myself. The Glass Knife has complimentary Wi-Fi It is smoke-free with a pet-friendly policy. TGK extends a warm welcome to all patrons, ensuring an unparalleled dining experience. Bon appetit!

Natalia C.

Yelp
We came in with our baby on a Sunday morning for breakfast and some sweet treats. Everything was delicious. Our waitress Sky was attentive, and so sweet to our baby. The Glass Knife never disappoints and we can't wait to come back.

Jackie T.

Yelp
Best place to relax with a friend or alone . The atmosphere is so relaxing & comfortable. Pastries & Sandwiches to die for! Hard to make a choice . Staff very friendly & helpful...cute gifts I'm from AZ but will visit again and again as I visit my granddaughter who lives in Longwood, FL She finds the best Cafes & Restaurants !

Merlys M.

Yelp
Fantastic place! Great service! Even better food both savory and dessert. Absolutely coming bavk, also if ur a coffee lover order the Monarch expresso... ur welcome

Maheen M.

Yelp
I came in for brunch and had a great time. The ambiance is wonderful and relaxing. The food and dessert are delicious and our server, Sky, was great. I would come here again 100%

Andi P.

Yelp
5 Star update for excellent customer service and brunch that made me forget about their decadent desserts! I recently thought of The Glass Knife when searching for a good Saturday brunch option that wouldn't have a wait. Luckily, there was plenty of room for us on the patio (the weather was TOO GOOD to be outside). If you're looking to be seated, wait at the hostess sign and they'll get you sorted in no time (versus going through the line). Once seated, their menus are accessible through a QR code on the table (or their website) as they don't have paper menus. My sister and I ordered the pimento cheese croissant and the ham and cheese croissant so we could split them and get the best of both worlds (don't make me choose). They were AMAZING. The croissants were buttery and flaky, but held up as you ate the sandwich. The house-made pimento cheese is wildly good and packing the flavor. I can't pick my favorite of the two, because they were equally divine and equally gone by the time I awoke from my feasting fever dream. It's also worth mentioning that our server and the hostess were phenomenal. They laughed with us and helped us with any needs (including putting a wedge under one of the table legs as it was wobbling). They were a pleasure and made the experience that much better. Overall, a great spot for lunch, brunch, etc. NOT JUST the desserts! (But those are phenom too.) ***Previous review from 2019: 5 Stars for really over-the-top fabulous patisseries and savory dishes that will surprise you! Here's the thing-- Yes. The Glass Knife (TGK) is gorgeous. Everything in it is highly curated perfection. Every light fixture and chair makes you squeal and wish you had the decorator's sense of style. It's made for Instagram. But not in a bad way where the food is just for show. You've definitely seen the glossy desserts across your Instagram and Yelp feed by now. The desserts are, thankfully, as delicious as they are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I've tried many, but the cakes are my current faves (though the little patisseries, donuts, and macaroons are divine). What's been most surprising, though, is their savory options. Like many, I'd assumed they were more of a dessert and wine spot to visit after dinner. But this last time I was in I made sure to try the chicken pot pie and a flatbread a friend got and both were impressive! I'll definitely add this to my lunchtime rotation! Lastly, check out the espresso bar for a great cup of coffee! I'm not a coffee drinker, myself, but have had a few people tell me they go out of their way for this coffee.

Emily H.

Yelp
So delicious! What I call "Lick your plate good"! We went for brunch. I got the eggs Benedict, my friend got the salad with salmon. And we split a pumpkin croissant because how could we resist!?! I would absolutely return for brunch, every bite was divine!

Alycia B.

Yelp
I've been a fan since the place has been established. My go to order is the avocado toast and iced chai tea latte with oat milk to be exact. I absolutely count it as a treat to visit here. They also have very cute and trendy trinkets that are worth seeing!

Ginnie R.

Yelp
Would you like to delight your eyes and tingle your taste buds all in one go? Then look no further than the Glass Knife. Located in the Winter Park area of town it is upscale. Perfect location for a date or to grab dessert after eating at other restaurants - all within walking distance. The library is close by too so if you want to grab your dessert, sit outside, and read all your quiet Sunday dreams can come true! They have a regular offering and then a rotation of pastries based on the season. I hear the brunch is lackluster as compared to the price. I would agree. The clear stars of this show are the pastries and coffee. This is where they shine. If you are a coffee nerd you'll be delighted to know their house coffee is Onyx roasted coffee made specially for them. They also sell Onyx coffee too. https://onyxcoffeelab.com (I welcome sponsorships) You may have to wait for seating. This shop gets very busy especially at peak hours. I never thought about reserving but you can try. There's a very cute booth everyone loves which has blue velvet on the walls so if you are gunning for that special spot (there's only one) come at an odd hour. Service is good. Noise levels, ok. Outdoor and indoor seating available. I believe the outdoor space is dog friendly. I think this location is also family friendly. I admit I haven't seen as many families here because you are paying for the crème de la crème prices BUT I think sweets are made to be shared. Treat yo'self and your tribe too. They have a parking lot out back but if that is filled up there are several parking garages located within walking distance. What to try? Everything. If you're a purist and like to judge a restaurant by its most basic staple try the croissant. Delicious. Easily 5 stars. They don't need my help though. They have a great thing going here. Looking forward to the next location. Feel free to open one closer to Lake Nona!

David P.

Yelp
We went for Brunch and I was totally disappointed. I had high expectations. To start, service was terrible. Our waiter was barely around to the point other tables that arrived after us paid before we could even see our waiter again. I ordered an espresso which sounded amazing in the menu. It was the worst tasting espresso I've ever had. To the point I couldn't even drink it. Biter is an understatement. Tasted as if they hadn't cleaned the machine in quite a long time. For my main I ordered the Biscuits and gravy. No flavor and just mediocre. The only reason I gave this experience 3 stars is because of the delcious blackberry cobbler donut (forgot to snap it) I took home. That was the best part. Otherwise, I probably won't be back.

Ariella V.

Yelp
Hands down, favorite spot. Such a magical spot but also so so delicious! Never leave without a donut and a coffee. It's has the cutest ambiance and the love that goes into each item that is made is really special. Crème brûlée donut is apparently life changing, per my husband. Ordered the chocolate chip cookie this time around too. Had them heat it up! It can be pricey, I am not going to lie. Half a dozen donuts at almost 40 bucks is kind of crazy to some people, I get it. It is beautiful inside and the service is just as wonderful. If you're looking for somewhere to unwind and relax and really enjoy yourself, please go to the glass knife. It's worth every penny and the peace it brings to your soul is just as important!

Jimmy T.

Yelp
Our daughter and son-in-law got a latte and cookie. Very tasty and they loved both. I love the decoration and style around the store. Very nice and clean. Service was friendly and fast.

Yelp
Vegan donut! Omg! Hubs surprised me with this today! So hard to find delicious desserts that actually taste amazing! They did it! Delicious maple glaze donut with two teeeny tiny sticks of chocolate. Absolutely scrumptious! I can only imagine what they taste like fresh.

Yelp
We came as a group of four on a Saturday morning without a reservation and were seated promptly. The food was very tasty and came out shortly after we ordered. We enjoyed our food but after paying the check we were kindly asked to leave due to another party needing our table which was kind of a bummer since there were plenty of other tables available. No biggie but we know not come here again with friends if we have intentions of wanting to take our time to catch up.

Yelp
A. MUST. GO. I've been to this spot before, but it was for a baked good and a cup of coffee about 2 years ago. However, I was in the area and came back for Weekend Brunch (Saturday & Sunday from 8AM-4PM) because I was in the area for a wedding. BOY OH BOY, they are just as good as I remembered from the food to the service to the aesthetics. This place has got it down to a science. I ordered the Cheddar Biscuit Sandwich Plate and the Pumpkin Cheesecake Cold Foam. WOW, if I could marry a sandwich...this might be the one. So delicious, it's a must re-order (but also super curious about the rest of the menu)! It's so flavorful, the egg is so fluffy, the biscuit is soft with a nice cheesy crust finish, and paired with perfect sides for a good balance (seasonal fruit and potatoes). I tried my friend's baked good (chocolate croissant) and super yummy as expected. Every time I'm in the area, best believe that I'm coming back. Keep up the amazing work and service.

Yelp
We were running errands in the area and stopped in for a Monday brunch. Having just returned from vacation it was a much needed pick me up before the return to reality. I had the quiche which is always delightful and hubs had a biscuit sandwich and there were no complaints from him. We split the crème brûlée doughnut which has a brûléed top as the name suggests. It crackles perfectly when you bite into it. The patisseries here are always decadent and unique. As per diem I wanted to buy everything in the well curated gift shop.

Yelp
Today was my first time trying out The Glass Knife, which my friend has been raving about! We decided to try out their weekend brunch which thankfully was not too busy when we arrived. While waiting for the table we looked around in their gift shop that had products from Winter Park's local businesses. After a short wait we were taken to a table inside and the hostess went over how to access the menu via QR code. I've noticed more restaurants switching over to this form of menu which honestly makes the process so smooth. Our server was very nice and answered questions we had about what we wanted to order. We finally decided on the pimento cheese croissant (who can say no to avocado and bacon jam???), and the cheddar biscuit plate. Both were incredibly filling and delicious! To drink I ordered the s'mores cortado which might be my new favorite way to enjoy coffee! After our meal we had the macarons and the oatmeal cream pie, then went and grabbed some donuts to go! The atmosphere here is so chilled, but still has that more elevated feel that restaurants in Winter Park offer. If you're looking for a great brunch spot or somewhere to grab pastries and a coffee, then The Glass Knife is where you need to be! I saw they make wedding cakes as well, so brides to be need to check this place out!

Yelp
The Glass Knife has one of my favorite avocado toasts! Whenever I'm craving them this is the spot to go. My kids love their donuts and my daughter decided to try the Oreo petite cake this time. Food was yummy and our server Sky was fabulous
