"There aren’t a whole lot of spots to get barbecue on the strip in EAV, so you’ll always find us at The Glenwood for their cornbread and collards, brunswick stew, and BBQ sliders. While they can't compete with , it's still a solid stop when we want smoky meats and the summer nostalgia of licking our sauce-stained fingers clean. It’s relatively low-key here on weeknights, where you’ll find a few EAVers playing darts or shuffleboard and watching soccer on the TVs above the bar. On weekends, they have DJs who bring a party vibe, in which you’re more likely to see people ordering shots than mac and cheese. " - Juli Horsford

This place is solid. My bf and I come here sometimes when we want good food late. I am mostly keto so it’s hard for me to find stuff to eat. I get the pulled chicken ( no barbecue) with green beans and fried okra ( I cheat on the breading :-)). My bf doesn’t eat pork so he normally gets the pulled brisket sandwich and loves it. Also, when I’m cheating, I have the Brunswick stew. It’s amazing! Beat that you can get from a restaurant. Service at the bar is always good and the drinks are a good price and they aren’t weak. Please please please save your money Came in and seems if not a local they could care less about you. Waited well.over 25 minutes to get a beer than was told by waitress had to go.to bar to make food or drink order. Have waited now over 50 minutes for food. And locals.have gotten food after I ordered and drinks. Guess my money not good enough. Save time and money and stay away from this place

This place is tried and true- I've been coming here since at least 2012. The vibe is chill even on football days and it's not real smokey like some places. The food is good and drinks are strong. Minus 1 star because the staff isn't always attentive unless you're at the bar.

We needed food after a concert on a Thursday at 2am and man, this was a true treasure! Called at 2:20am to ask if they were still serving and they assured us they served until 2:45. We sat down, and the bartender was happy to serve us. Karaoke was still going, food was perfect, lively atmosphere. This is a typical dive bar, a little scruffy, some wobbly chairs, but had the best bartender, great food and cool people.

Great food. Waitress was less than desirable. After acknowledgement of your guest, you should give them a menu for review while you assist others. No, not here. Plus, there is a $.50 to go charge and gratuity has been automatically added. Read your check and check your order before leaving!
