Touring New Orleans's Hidden Bars: 'Walk With T+L'
"Finally, Taylor arrives at Good Trouble Lounge, but fair warning — this private spot is truly a modern speakeasy. Taylor, a.k.a. @chickenandchampagne, lets viewers know they will need to private message the lounge on Instagram for any hope of being let in on this secret. Once inside, Taylor steps in to show viewers how to make a classic New Orleans cocktail, the daiquiri. She says while most people think of this as a frozen, blended drink, here, it's served straight up. Coconut simple syrup adds a bit of jazz, and Taylor ends the tour with these departing words of advice: drink responsibly and always tip your bartender." - Travel + Leisure Editors

"“Where good times meet good people,” says the Good Bar, an easy-to-miss spot in a not-so-hidden area of the city, the French Quarters. After a visit to the adjacent French Market, stop here for a friendly vibe, oysters, cocktails, and hookah. It’s also surprisingly good for breakfast — build your own omelette (or try the Cajun version) or go with the French toast." - Lynn Wesley - Coleman
We really enjoyed our time at the Good Bar. Jess, the bartender was fabulous! She gave us great suggestions for events happening in the city and gave great conversation! Even joined in on our musical debates. The drinks were yummy and I had the lemon pepper wings and ranch fries which were both delicious. The wings were fried hard just like I like them. We will definitely be back next time in the Big Easy!

Wife and I spent a great afternoon here back in June on our anniversary. The drinks were great, a great vibe, bartenders were super cool and the food was good. It was like an oasis. I hope y'all hang on through the pandemic, we would love to come back for a visit.

Would rate the food, but me and my home girls were never served :). Service was awful it almost felt intentional that they didn’t want to serve us? We are from out a town and thought the ladies working/ vibes seemed super fun, but literally they refused to even acknowledge us even after pretty much begging people to acknowledge us. I’m and extremely disappointed and will never come back here/ won’t recommend. Talk about southern hospitality:) also people were shamelessly not wearing mask like we aren’t in a middle of a pandemic still :)
Also to clarify I did come here in may I just was randomly thinking about how awful and ridiculous this service was. Makes sense why they got shut down there was no regards to the pandemic :)

Stopped by this hidden gem while shopping in the French market! I was drawn to the yellow doors and super trendy decor. The drinks are great, reasonable prices and great vibes. I recommend The Good Platter which was shrimp, crabs, sausage, corn and potatoes.

When we arrived at 4 pm there were 5 people the restaurant. Was told they were out of daiquiris. We decided to stay, after we order our food it started to get a crowd. We waited over an hour for our food. When we seen others around us that came after us start getting their food we asked about our order. After asking the wrong food was brought twice. We then asked for a refund and had to wait for it.

THIS PLACE DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE. They've got someone impersonating them on Doordash and I have no clue why. Super frustrating to wait 45 minutes for food only to have a delivery driver call to explain that the restaurant isn't even on doordash and has a different name.
