This place has an odd vibe - they’re going for 90s retro but can’t fully commit. A bunch of random thrifty decor, it’s like Logan Square Applebee’s. Does not seem like a place that should require reservations.
The food was decent, and the prices are actually relatively affordable which is very refreshing. The fish dip, hummus, bang bang cauli were standouts. But the menu is quite limited, very few veggie options.
Drinks - I ordered a dirty martini without realizing it had orange bitters in it. Not great! No one in my group was super impressed with their cocktails unfortunately.
We went on a Friday and pub trivia was just starting - again, kind of an odd choice for the night and the layout of the place.
The best part was the service, our server was lovely and attentive, as were the bartenders/runners/et al.
This could be a cool spot but as is I don’t think I’d go out of my way for a second visit.
