I absolutely love this neighborhood favorite. I highly recommend the pizza’s and it’s so nice you can get a slice or more all day! Daily specials never disappoint and the menu is full of delicious choices. Don’t miss out on the desserts or rotating goodies they have inside at the counter. I find myself here 2-3 times a week for lunch or dinner.

While visiting my sister, she introduced me to a charming little gem in Playa del Rey, her go-to spot for a delightful lunch and cozy evenings with friends. Nestled in a small outdoor space, the restaurant's atmosphere is both romantic and quaint, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely meal. She also let me know that sometimes they’ll have love music. We opted for the daily specials, and I am particularly hoping the cacio e pepe becomes a regular menu item. It was creamy and perfectly seasoned, a true delight. However, the real star of the meal was the penne arrabbiata with sausage. Spicy, tangy, and rich in flavor, it was simply outstanding. Beyond the food, the ambiance contributed to a wonderful dining experience. Though the outdoor area is small, it feels intimate rather than cramped, and the overall vibe is friendly and inviting. Whether you're looking for a relaxing lunch spot or a cozy place to enjoy sangria and pasta with friends, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Had an absolutely amazing lunch. We found it randomly since we had a meeting down the road and we were hungry. I'm so glad we stopped here. It was a little awkward to figure out the seating arrangement but overall the staff are very friendly, and the food was on point. We will definitely be back if we have want more meetings in the area.

Went here for my birthday it was nothing a disaster. They the customer service, food was awful. I hate to say this, Olive garden has better food and service, than this place. What's advertised on the IG account don't expect to order it. I was told by the rude waitress it's only there for show.🤬

Today, my two friends and I had an awful experience at “the good pizza”restaurant. We parked near this restaurant at 10:40am and went inside to order three sandwiches. While we were inside, someone scratched and spat on our car. When we approached the owner, who was sitting outside, to ask for footage, he became enraged and started threatening and harassing us. He claimed we had no right to park there and said he didn't need our business. We called the police to report the incident. The owner, Nando De Stefano, tried to intimidate us, screamed at us, and used racist slurs, telling us to "go ride our horses and camels." This behavior is completely unjustifiable, especially towards customers. We have filed a report with the police and the Better Business Bureau. Camera footage and pictures have been shared as well. It's deeply disappointing to witness such behavior from a Playa Del Rey local business owner, one who is a product of the immigration to America.

We love it here! The pizza, pasta and dessert are all made from scratch! You can absolutely tell they use fresh ingredients! We have never had a bad experience here! Wish I could give them a 10 star! They also sell crackers and cookies from 🇮🇹 Italy. Yum! If you want to dine out they have an outdoor area with live music on Friday and Saturdays.

Wonderful place would give it 100 stars 🌟 🤩 ✨️ if I could. Owner is a giant sweetheart and his warm smile is always a pleasure to see. His amazing staff follow his lead with kindness and attentiveness with a smile. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Freeking good pizza 🍕. Don't you dare drive down this street without getting some of that goodness. Fat meat, thin crust, and those curves. The supreme has chicken so basically it is a healthy choice. Come eat in a tent on the street just like New York and dodge those cars the best you can. Long story short, the sign doesn't lie, the good pizza.

This place just keeps getting better in taste, service & vibes. Been a fan since the Westchester location, and thrilled to see the evolution of the PDR location. Bravo to the Chef & crew for the consistency of quality. I've had most of the menu from apps, pizza, pasta, & dessert and was recently impressed with the Focaccia sandwiches and all the fresh pastries & desserts. You're the best Good Pizza, eating here is always a delicious & uplifting experience.

I love LA. Since I moved here from the East Coast a thousand years ago, the food scene has really blossomed. It's relatively easy to find world-class restaurants all over the city, as long as you can afford an arm and a leg and don't mind eating at 5:30. And you will almost certainly have a great meal. But the true joy is to find a local spot that delivers great food and provides wonderful service for a reasonable price. If that's what you're looking for, The Good Pizza is the place for you. After kicking off date night at Playa Massage, we walked across the small parking lot to the surprisingly elegant and cozy outdoor dining room. The young woman who greeted and seated us was genuinely friendly and welcoming and that set the tone for the entire meal. We started with the prosciutto and melon appetizer, which was drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Simple dish, but hit on all cylinders. My wife ordered the spaghetti with shrimp. She allowed me a bite and it was terrific. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the shrimp was on point and the sauce was redolent with garlic and just the right amount of crushed red. I got the chicken piccata, which was served with mashed potatoes. It was flat out delicious. The wine list is small but ridiculously reasonable. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio that paired nicely with everything. We also ordered a slice of margherita pizza and some garlic fries to bring home for the kid. She said they were great. I wouldn't know... The Good Pizza is a definite neighborhood gem and we'll definitely be back.

Should be called THE GREAT PIZZA cause it is! Not to mention Top notch imported Italian cold cuts and a high quality selection of Vino. Also when it's desert time, their Cannolis & Cheesecake are WOW. We're so fortunate to have this little gem in our neighborhood. Thanks Nando!

This place is very unassuming as it looks like a store front. But if you turn and look across from it you'll see a very nice outdoor sitting area where a server awaits you. You are immediately greeted with a smile. The pizza and melon were delicious. The chicken was really good as well but was missing something. I couldn't place my finger on it but nevertheless it was really tasty. The cone around the cannoli was left to be desired. It was mushy where I am used to a crunch style roll. The Italian beer however was great and the price was on point.

Well, The Good Pizza is a clean restaurant with friendly staff; online ordering system was very easy to use. The presentation of these pizzas was great! The pizza looked amazing and came in big bright yellow pizza boxes. It's weird to cut the pizzas off center: each slice was a difference size, but everything looked good at least. However the crust was really thick. Doughy, but not undercooked. Chewing each piece was a flashback of me being 14 and biting into a New York bagel with braces and loosing a bracket. I felt the toppings were kind of bland and the cheese was a little too firm. I personally like eating cold pizza left over in the fridge the next day, but because they only kind of splash on the tomato sauce, the pizza was overall very dried out by this point. Kinda disappointing. Anyway, who cares, it's just pizza. As mentioned before the presentation and service was great, and along with the store having an easy to access parking lot, I'll prob be back for more.

Good pizza for a small chain. It's such a tiny spot and I must admit that I didn't think much of it, but I was pleasantly surprised when I préfères one Friday night because I didn't feel like cooking. The pizza was the perfect size! Delicious, fresh, and priced well. The garlic knots are certainly a hit!!! My daughter loves them.

This place was so good that we just had to come back!! After leaving a 4-star review for a takeout pizza, Boyfriend and I took the business owner up on his suggestion to dine outside in their delightfully cozy and festive patio space across the parking lot. We ordered the fried ricotta-stuffed squash blossoms appetizer, the lobster ravioli, and the shrimp and spaghetti. Everything was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and polite, and we got to have a lovely and lively chat with head chef Nando, who came around to every table to see whether we were happy with our meals!! Nando is an amazing person with a huge heart and is obviously passionate about what he does. I loved him immediately!! Mille grazie!! We shall definitely return!!

The good pizza is definitely good pizza. I like how they sell by the slice- I ordered the capricosa and margherita. Both very delicious and tasty especially the margherita. I didn't try any pies, but will be back.

Stopped here for a slice, pizza was good, met the owner who was very friendly and made time to have a conversation. Service didn't disappoint, ambiance was laid back. Would definitely return and try other items.

The restaurant owner presented on the picture was the main person behind his racism action toward my friend because of his skin color. He spit on my friends car and he also damaged it by scratching it. His actions took place because after him he believes that we parked wrongly and we blocked his truck which is not true and the camera footage are under police investigations. Instead of addressing the issue, he chose to deflect and make personal attacks. This only perpetuates the problem and creates a toxic environment. It's unacceptable that the owner was subjected to such hatred and discrimination. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of our background or identity. It's crucial that we stand together against racism and promote a culture of inclusivity and acceptance. We called the police and we reported his behavior and we need to stop people like person for not doing the same thing to others. I hope that the restaurant bureau takes immediate action to address this incident and ensures that all customers feel welcome and valued.

Best pizza in Playa del Rey! This is our weekly pizza spot. Service is fast, reliable, and the food always tastes great. The owner is super friendly and sometimes has samples when they are trying out new pizza toppings. Our favorite is the Hawaiian (I know, some find this offensive, but it's really good!) I've only done takeout, but they do have some covered outdoor seating and I've seen live music performances on the weekends. I imagine it would be a cute date night spot. There's a parking lot out front. Sometimes it can be tight, but there's usually enough spots if you drive further down (away from the liquor store.)

Let me just say that Nando, Cindy and the rest of the staff are incredibly hospitable, kind, and loving people. They truly go beyond treating people as customers. Their food is also amazing! Would definitely be back in the future! God bless!

I would not recommend this place. My boyfriend got a slice of pizza and I got the pasta. Forgot which one but I assume the problem spans to all. The pasta I got was from the microwave. The chicken was rubbery and the noodles were hard. If you do go to this place, only order the pizza everything is a waste of money. The place is cute though.

I ordered for delivery at the Playa Del Rey location. They now have a Westchester location but I always went to the Playa Del Rey location so wanted to try it again. Delivery was quick. I ordered some old favorites: eggplant parmigiana with pasta; chicken Marsala; small side Caesar salad; and a cannoli. The eggplant parmigiana was good but not as good as I've had in the past. The eggplant parmigiana was a single layer, small portion and was on top of the entree pasta. In the past the eggplant parmigiana was good sized and multilayered and came with a side pasta rather than an entree pasta. The chicken Marsala was drenched in a soupy, heavy oiled gravy, with mushy mashed potatoes. Nevertheless my husband liked it. The salad dressing for the small Caesar was delicious. Lastly, the cannoli (or more accurately cannolo for one) was excellent as I remembered it and no I did not share it. Hopefully the lackluster food preparation was due to it being an off night. Looking forward to trying the Westchester location for comparison.

When I first moved into Westchester, I used to get the Fettucine Bolognese from the Good Pizza all the time. Hands down, best pasta Bolognese outside of Vito's in Santa Monica (and way less pricey). But then the pandemic happened and Good Pizza moved to Playa. I hadn't been since 2020. Sunday night my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try again. It was FANTASTIC. Now they have a cute little outside patio, too! The beer and wine was under $10 (unheard of on the Westside) and the pasta Bolognese was just as wonderful as I remembered it. Service was perfect too. I am so happy...!

Such a cute place. Got a delicious slice and a side salad and woofed it down in ten minutes. They are super quick and friendly even with it busy. Definitely try it out. Was really clean too and lots of parking.

Restaurant is aptly named. Good pizza. Good salads. Good atmosphere. They haven't taken down their Covid outdoor area, which remains fun, but alas, it adds to the already annoying parking. Good music. Good workers. Good good good. A woman fell over and hit her head and the waitress ran along side myself and fellow patrons to help her. Luckily she was fine, but I'd heavily advise not to pick up a head trauma victim right away.

I did a large catering order and the experience was really great. The food was all ready when I arrived, they helped me to get it into my car, and most importantly it was all delicious and everyone loved it. I ordered Caesar salad, caprese, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine Alfredo, meatballs, and penne arrabbiata and then cannoli and tiramisu for dessert. Everyone loved the food and I would definitely go there again for catering or an individual order.

It is indeed good pizza however if you order a single slice be prepared to be underwhelmed. They are tiny

Yesterday I was in the area in between meeting clients, and had 20 minutes to kill, and kinda hungry. So I stopped by The Good Pizza to see what they had. the slice of their Supreme pizza was calling my name. oh wow! I haven't had a pizza this good in a while. Perfect dough with the right amount of sauce and toppings. This is now my local favorite.

4+ Small little neighborhood Italian spot located in a strip mall in Playa del Rey. Lots of different options for different budgets and a good pasta menu as well as pizza. Other than really good pizza and pasta that I've tried along with friendly service, I'm scoring this place high because it reminds me of some small restaurants close to where I grew up. It truly has that neighborhood gem feel. I've had a bunch of jobs when I was younger and this feels like one of those places I probably would have worked at, had it been close to where my parents lived. I was housesitting and dog sitting in the area and my friend gave me some gift certificates (as a thank you) to this place so I ended up going two days in a row. On the first day I opted for their two slices and a drink deal and ordered an extra slice on top of that. I got the Margherita, Salsiccia, and Capricciosa. (3rd slice I ordered on top of the deal). The prices were really reasonable especially for the size and the ingredients that you get. All three were very tasty in their own way. A nice crisp to the dough a d fresh toppings. I got take out so I could go back to the house and spend time with the dog :) On the second day, I decided to dine in and sit in the outdoor closed off area. I ordered the black ink linguine with a glass of Chianti. The waitress was super friendly and super helpful. I ordered and a few minutes later I got my drink and in a few minutes after that I got my pasta. Super savory and garlicky. Exactly what I was looking for in that dish. Had a good sized portion with a healthy amount of fresh seafood. Paired nicely with the wine. A wonderful place in an area that doesn't have a ton of options in the near walking radius. Parking seemed always easy to come by. Would definitely come back, especially when I housesit again.

East coast pizza snob approved. Some of the best pizza I have found on the West coast and thankful to have them here. It's a cozy little place to grab a quick slice for lunch or bring a date. They made genius use of covid allowances (I think?) and have a nice little tented area out front where they have live music I think on most or some Fridays/Saturday evenings. Pizza by the slice is always great as an option but they do a bunch of other items well. Very good Tiramisu. One out of every 10-20 times I go, my pizza is a little soggy in the middle or the crust is slightly overcooked, but honestly it's still some of the best pizza and the quality inconsistency is rare enough that I wouldn't even take a point off for it. I bet if I ever cared enough to complain they'd make it up to me, in the past I would sometimes get an extra free slice randomly when doing my usual "2 slices and a drink" deal. 5 stars. Enjoy some Good Pizza.

I met Nando at a CRA event. He really cares about his customers' experience. His hands tossed pizzas are nothing short of amazing! He uses quality ingredients despite inflation.

The place is good, I've tried the pizza, salad meat balls, sandwiches and so far the food is good. The service though it's a little slow, there is a girl that works there she's super nice and always provides good service. But I have sat down couple times and waited 8-10min just for someone to come take water order or say hi. But overall they been nice about it, it's close to my workplace so I'll definitely be back to have some salad.

Order for delivery @ 6PM.. should arrive 6:45-7:00... the out for delivery app shows in transit. 7:20 PM I call to ask for my traveling, hour plus late pasta.. I oferta to hago pick it up, when I arrive I get attitude form the male employee, no bread, napkins or cutlet offer or included. They complain to me that could not deliver because We did not provide a full phone number, they are missing a number.. They have one job, take orders and phone numbers to match. I am hangry and with no cutlery or bread to eat the sh$$ty pasta. $30 plus dollars for this? Can't even eat it. Food is about service, I feel robed today.

I want to congratulate the chef/owner on the unbridled success of his restaurant in Playa Vista. It's so successful that they no longer have to be concerned about staff yelling at the customers while the inside staff watched and did absolutely nothing. The waitress completed her rant at the customer and Jose at the and other staff just watched. Not ok.

Like a little Italian wine bar nestled in a Roman piazza, Good Pizza is wedged within a Playa shopping plaza. Sure, there's wine... and Peroni and pizza perfection, too. Slices are beach gourmet and don't forget salads and dessert. Al fresco or to-go. Service (generally) with a smile.

Good slices, I like the fresca. Fast service, nice people, good place. On a busy road with a busy parking lot sometimes, but they do some good dishes like their pizzas and the italian cheesy fries. Friendly hard working staff.

Great lunch spot, with lots of sandwich options as well as pizza by the slice. There is a tented patio in the parking lot with outdoor seating, but between traffic on Manchester and the parking lot itself, I usually prefer to take my food to go.

Really delicious pizza, and they were very generous with toppings. A bit pricey but every single thing was delicious (the wings too) and I only wish there had been more beet salad! I placed my order over the phone and it was ready in about thirty minutes. Will absolutely go again!

I stopped by for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised to have one of the best chicken parm sandwiches I've ever had. From the bread to the sauce to the cheese to the chicken preparation, it is an absolute knockout. The integrity of their ingredients and care in preparation provides a delicious experience WELL-worth the cost of relatively quick artisanal cuisine. Nando and his staff treat patrons as if they were in their homes, and in LA, this is a beautiful refreshment. Support this business!

The Good Pizza is an aptly titled restaurant. That's exactly what it is, it's good pizza. It's my go to for when I want classic, quality pizza at a fair price which they deliver on consistently. They don't have the boujie one of a kind pies you might find elsewhere around here. They have big heaping pizzas and slices loaded with cheese and toppings. Sure the crust might be a little over done every now and then but I've never been disappointed. Also - the only time I ever had any issue with an order they replaced the pizza for free and gave me a coupon for another one as an apology even though the fix only cost me an extra 10 minute wait. Indoor seating is non existent but they have a nice covid style outdoor seating area on what used to be the sidewalk that seems chill. Great lunch's specials. I like to get 2 slices and a soda for like $7.50 - and the two slices are usually more than enough for me. If you get a whole pie, you better be hungry cuz they only have large. 4.5/5 but I'm probably biased.

Great food and service. Ive had Good Pizza mostly via delivery but this time we decided to eat at their outdoor patio (dog friendly). We were there before the dinner rush, so the patio was pretty quiet. They have whole pizza (one size- 18 inch) and slices available. For 2 people, if you are ordering the whole pizza, you are definitely taking home leftovers. This particular day, we ordered a pepperoni pizza (double cut) and a side Cesar salad. The food was so good. The pizza is not too oily or greasy. The crust has a great crisp to it and the cheese to sauce ratio for me was perfect. The vibe was great especially since we had our pup with us. Parking can be easy or difficult since they are located on a strip with other businesses. This place is definitely worth the try.

Well today wasn't my best day. But, I reached out for an early delivery dinner frim the Good Pizza, and was met with Kindness Extraordinaire. The food deliciousness and quality are always superb. Cindy, the mgr, acknowledged me by my voice and went above and beyond by asking about me. That sure made a BIG difference. It was a genuine gesture and super kind of her. Then, most eagerly, my food arrives on time. I'm greeted by Ana a newer delivery person. Welcome! What a sweetheart. Organized and detailed, she's got a ready and willing smile. She cares!! TY ladies. I'm so grateful. Blessings for a nice holiday season!

been many times but this last time, food was cold, wait times for everything was 30 minutes, had to ask the bus boy to call the waiter, arrogant waiter. had to get up and pay at door because the waiter just forgot about us. Not returning I don't think.

This pizza is amazing. We love coming here after pickleball for lunch and the food is always solid. I love some of the wraps too along with the pizza and the pasta is tasty. The owner has recognized me for years and always greets people with a smile and now with the outdoor seating, this place is even better. When my family comes in town to visit, they always want to come here. Highly recommend this amazing food in such a local gem.

One of the worse pizzas I've had in my life. It was doughy and burnt at the same time. The watered down sauce had made a pool in the middle of it. The mozzarella sticks were microwaved. How do I know? The rubbery cheese was on the outside of the styrofoam container. The container was deformed the way a styrofoam container does when microwaved. I called the store. They adamantly refused it. But offered store credit. What's the point of that?

These bastards make a solid pizza. Not reinventing the wheel. Just a solid god damn slice of pizza. Their crust is sourdough (I think) and it's just a great little nut tap of flavor. If you're a whiny little B, this ain't your spot. You want some goofy ass pizza, hit up some other pretentious spot. You want a standard pizza that's consistently dope, here ya go.

Really wanted this place to be the go-to spot for my friends and I since it was so close to my place but its been a disappointment every time :( Every time I order I get a pepperoni and sausage pizza by the slice. The last handful of times I went it was pretty consistent with each slice only containing 1-2 pieces of sausage, with the pizza itself was thin and lackluster. The very last time I ordered from them I explicitly asked for extra sausage and I was given a slice with maybe 4 pieces of sausage and no pepperoni :/ I can never recommend their pizzas, but will admit their garlic knots and cannolis are incredible. I'd definitely go back if I wanted a dessert, but the pizza is just not good :(

Called Good Pizza for a reason. It's good. I actually liked the well done crust. Held the pizza toppings well. Really great cashier who was super helpful, nice, and just the right amount of conversation (Jesse).

Probably one of the pizzas we have ever had. I searched a place to grab some dinner to watch the sunset. This place came up after everyone voted for Pizza!!!! I ordered and picked up this huge box with giant slices. Got Pepperoni and sausage. It was unreal. The sauce perfection! The dough! Omg it was the best dough ever. The sausage was unlike any other, I think they either import or make it in house. Who knows. We were in pizza heaven. So so good can't wait to go back.

Ordered two pizzas at the Playa Del Rey location in Manchester - one vegan with lots of toppings - no Pineapple. A bit pricy, but my past order was great, so I decided to reorder again. I started the order by saying this was a VEGAN pizza, so no cheese. They made the pizza and I looked and saw tons of toppings with arugula on-top, so thought all was well, until I got home and found mozzarella and pineapple under the arugula on everything! Definitely not VEGAN and not without pineapple! Very disappointed considering what I paid for it and could not eat it!!! Did I mention they closed up shop so I could not even return it if I wanted to. Not a fan and an unhappy customer.
