Where To Order For Dessert Takeaway & Delivery In London When That Last Chocolate Rice Cake Just Isn’t Going To Cut It

"No, you’re not going to mush up some quark and a Freddo and call it a cheesecake. Have some respect. Order one in from The Great British Cheesecake Company instead. They started as a food market regular, but now they deliver across London from a whole bunch of places from E14 over to NW3. To all our big kids out there, they also do a Kinder Bueno number." - heidi lauth beasley

We have only had positive experiences with this company ordering through deliveroo. We have ordered 3 times now. One time we did receive one slice that wasn't the freshest, but other than that, we have enjoyed all slices. They even included a positive message tonight on our order during these tough times.

Excellent cheesecakes, order them to surprise my husband for our wedding anniversiry. And got a free Lindt chocolate. It's like they know me 😂♥️ Would highly recommend!

I have been given a delicious looking salted caramel cheesecake and was very much looking forward to eating it. The first half was very tasty, as expected. However, I then bit into a piece of garlic. I was very surprised to say the least. I continued eating thinking it was some sort of mistake. Until, I bit into another piece of garlic again. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my cake, the taste of garlic took over the taste of the caramel. So disappointing!

Ordered a variety of cheesecakes through deliveroo. Courteous staff called up to change one order as was out of stock and delivery was quick and items well packed. The original vanilla was surprisingly good, as was the Oreo.

My partner ordered 3 cheesecake slices for us last night - salted caramel, regular cheesecake and ore cheesecake. The salted caramel wasn’t too fresh and the Oreo cheesecake was kinda ok, the Oreo itself was a bit lame so I didn’t eat that part. We left the regular cheesecake in the fridge overnight and we were both left unsatisfied. Today we took the regular cheesecake out of the fridge and realised the use by date was 5 days old. I’m horrified a restaurant with so many 5 star reviews could send an expired product. I will not be ordering from here again obviously and I would strongly urge anyone reading this not to order from here either unless you want to take the chance that they won’t send you expired food! UPDATE: I have read the follow up comment from the owner, and sent them an email but haven't heard back. They have since deleted their response to my review, accusing me of lying essentially which is quite offensive. I try to leave positive reveiws wherever I have a positive experience, but I didn't have a positive experience here unfortunately. I appreciate it’s a small business and I wouldn't want their reputation ruined, but my review still stands. Its unfortunate because I try not to leave just negative reviews, but to also give a positive one when I have a good experience and obviously I don't want your reputation to get damaged. We didn't know we were not ordering from your company directly. As a customer, we don't really care about the semantics, we care about the food. We don't need the other details. If you don't have an issue with Deliveroo, then that is fine but they are using your name on their app to sell your food to paying customers. It doesn't matter if Deliveroo say they don't send expired products out, of course they're going to say that!

Amazing cheesecake. Best we've ever had. We went directly to the bakery itself in Wimbledon. Fabulous, small independent family business, working every hour to produce the best cake we've ever tasted. Huge thanks!

I ordered Lotus and New York cheesecakes and they sent stale ones. Their cheesecake had no distinguishable taste, the crust was too soft and it basically crumpled. Super disappointed.
