I really wanted to like this place as I watched the restaurant grow and evolve into what it is today. Though I was highly disappointed, the restaurant itself is nice visually, and we weren't rushed with our booking which was pleasant. The lady serving us did her best to accommodate to our needs too, so I cannot fault her. Though the service for food itself was extremely slow. My friend had something on her ice which was immediately replaced as the waitress noticed. The food was very very bland, there was no flavour whatsoever, the only thing that had flavour was the stuffing ball. I had to put lots of salt and pepper and kept dousing the food in gravy and paid for an extra gravy pot but was still lacking depth in flavour. The gravy itself was so watery which was off putting. The menu also states you are served roast potatoes with your dish but you only get 1 bland potato, which lacks crispness too. The desserts being £10 each was insanity considering the tiramisu was awful, it just tasted like cream and bitter coffee. The sticky toffee pudding was nice but far too sweet and the crumble I'd say was just right. The whole bill for 3 people and 1 child was £175 which I find extortionate and I'd be happy to pay those prices if the food actually had flavour, would I return based on the same experience? Unfortunately not.

What an amazing experience. My husband and I booked for our wedding anniversary as we were looking for a chilled vibe and comforting food. We got both and more. The food was outstanding from starters, mains to desserts i can’t fault any of it. We never visited the previous venue but I can say this was worth the travel and money. The portions and quality of the food are worth the price and the experience, you really can’t go wrong. To top it off service was impeccable, and seeing the chef cook live was brilliant, chef Karhan checked on us regularly making sure we were happy with the dishes. 10/10.

After months of looking at this place, we finally tried it and it did not disappoint! As it was a Saturday their menu was only for Roast dinner. We were a group of four and ordered Rosemary Confit chicken leg, slow cooked Lamb Shank and two aged Sirloin roast. We requested one of the Sirloins to be well done as my friend is pregnant and they did it perfectly. The portion sizes were great, we were completely stuffed at the end! Thoroughly enjoyed it all. Only downside was the stuffing was delicious but there was only one small ball, could have done with one more at least. The drinks were really lovely. We had a friendly waiter and the service was quick. It was nice to be able to have the table for 2hrs and not be rushed. I look forward to visiting again and trying the mid week menu and dessert!

I had such high hopes for this place as I absolutely love the concept but the food really needs improvement! Visually it’s very appealing and large portions, but just so incredibly bland. I ordered the lamb shank roast and my partner the rib eye steak and it was honestly so disappointing. No seasoning or any flavour, at least my partner had gravy for some flavour but the sauce my lamb shank came with had no taste. The desserts were really good - we got the sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble which really felt good to eat after consuming a bland main. I’m hoping feedback is taken onboard to improve the taste as the atmosphere, wonderful service and location is just brilliant.

Great experience, I ordered the lamb shank roast and tried my friend's beef - both were lovely but I preferred the latter. The portion sizes were very generous and tasted very good. Service was exceptional, I was very impressed as every server was very friendly and helpful - I hope they get recognised for this, especially the blonde Arab lady and the mixed race gentleman (sorry I don't know their names). I also really appreciated the prayer space. We tried all of their desserts - my favourite was the crumble, it was light, tart and not too sweet (would have preferred a slightly higher crumble to fruit ratio though!). The tiramisu was also very good! Only downside were the drinks, I just don't think they were worth £9.

I saw tiramisu on Instagram. It was very tempting. It's right around the corner from my workplace. I got takeaway. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. This is very good. But the tiramisu was not good. The portion is small and 11 pounds. The most expensive dessert I've ever paid locally in this country. But my coffee has no taste at all. The environment is very nice. Open kitchen. You can watch the chef while you wait. Either there should be a change in price or version length. Since it is a stylish place, I think it is the effect of rents. But it offers a nice environment for halal eaters. This is great.

I really wanted to love their new location. Came for a celebratory meal and wanted something nice. Unfortunately, we were severely disappointed. Starters aren't shareable. Menu mentioned Scallops (plural) infact it is only one scallop with a steep price point. Don't mind paying if it tasted amazing, but it didn't. Beef skewer starter is accompanied with a layered potato (pommes Anna), not cooked right, potatoes felt hard. Next we ordered the steaks for the mains, and they were barely seasoned, were underwhelming in texture and taste. Should have been accompanied with "Roasted tomatoes", I'm fairly sure they were placed from bag to plate and very stingy portion of 2 tiny tomatoes. Chips were not cooked on the inside, very starchy and dry. Both things we asked to fix but honestly it shouldn't be the case if you're charging high prices like this. Drinks, also, mid. The waiter was lovely and very understanding, the only redeeming quality about this place. Did reach out to them via email to give feedback, it's been a week and no response. I hope things change for the better, won't be coming back for a while sadly.
