The Greats of Craft - LIC Warehouse

We had our wedding on the rooftop of Greats of Craft in September. We COULD NOT be happier with how the event turned out!!! First and foremost, Joe & Stella are awesome to work with - such friendly and genuine people. They made the planning process as stress-free as it could be, by being communicative, dependable, and accommodating. We already loved the venue, but meeting with them made it an easy decision to choose GoC. We held a mini-ceremony and the reception on the rooftop for 60 people. We wanted it to be less formal (like an “elevated party”) but still trendy, and GoC checked all the boxes. The vibes and setting were PERFECTION: the backdrop of the Queensboro Bridge at dusk for our ceremony; cute string lights with a brick wall and large screen for our slideshow, perfect weather, plenty of room for people to mingle, sit down to eat, and dance. The ENTIRE GoC team/staff were amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and took great care of us and all of our guests. Shout out to Trey and Eddie!! We went with in-house catering for the food - Chef Chris is the best and everything tasted delicious!!! We got SO many compliments on the food from our guests. We still continue to rave about GoC being such a gem of an event space. Trying to find a reasonably-priced, high-quality wedding venue in NYC is difficult and sometimes discouraging. We feel so fortunate that we were able to have our wedding celebration here, it felt like a complete DREAM!!! Thank you, Joe & Stella and the whole GoC crew!!

Excellent coffee shop & pub. I’ve just discovered this place and I am so happy! The service is so great— everything looks so clean and inviting. I’d recommend ube matcha(might be seasonal special) and cappuccino. They use the best milk option out there for almond milk(numilk) which I am a huge fan. Get the almond milk cappuccino!! You can also shop ground coffee, special tea blends, candles, honey, coffee mugs etc which I love! We got house blend coffee to take home around $17(smells amazing) and chamomile tea which tastes so rich and relaxing :)

Pretty good vibes here! The rooftop is absolutely beautiful with two TVs. The food isn't great- in need of seasoning and flavor - but I think most people home for the drinks. Great variety of craft beverages. Also note that is is a tricky place to get to- you need to walk through some sketchy side streets to get here from the train.

First time here. My buddy and I work in the area. Decided to come after an early shift and sat at the bar around 3pm. The young girl tending was great. We ordered tap drinks and some light fare. Drinks were fine. His dog was good. My chicken sandwich was lacking IMO. More bread than filling and fries were a separate cost for the money spent on the sandwich. Rest of the place was nice as we explored the upstairs area. Maybe evenings are a different vibe.

Amazing breakfast - thanks Chris for modifying the ricotta toast to produce a fantastic dairy-free option featuring house pickled vegetables. Great spot for espresso as well.

I had a great time at this bar! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the music created the perfect vibe, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The drinks were well-prepared especially the cocktails, which were both creative and balanced. It’s a great place to relax with friends or unwind after a long day. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to!

Greats of Craft is an awesome spot — tons of variety, with something for every kind of beer drinker. The selection is always rotating and super fresh, and the staff actually knows their stuff without being pretentious. Perfect place to hang, try a few new brews, and just enjoy the vibe. Definitely one of my favorite beer spots around.

I absolutely love this spot! It all started with a cup of coffee… then I added the nutella banana bread… then a mocktail… and eventually, I hosted one of the most important events in my life here with 25 guests! When I say “these guys can do anything”- mean it :) There’s literally nothing to dislike about this place: the atmosphere is super chill with a real NYC vibe, the rooftop is open and breezy, the food and drinks are always delicious and the staff is incredibly polite and responsive. Of course on busy days the wait time can get a little longer but what do you expect? Everyone wants to be there :) When we were planning the menu for our event, everything went so smoothly. The kitchen was even open to making dishes that weren’t on the regular menu which was so nice of them. I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate this place for all the days I sat at the bar, chilled on the rooftop or read a book in the sun with a cup of coffee. And I’ll always be grateful for the memories we made during our event. Huge thanks to the staff who helped make that day so special, cozy, funky and just… great.

I absolutely love this place! Excellent service, spacious bar, plenty of fun events. There is another location in Midtown that I have never visited, but I am glad I finally checked out the Long Island City location. The Greats of Craft has a little bit of everything. They offer more than just beer; they also serve cocktails, coffee, hot dogs, breakfast, and more. Their draft beer selection is actually fairly extensive. They also have nice spirit menu. Try the hot dogs - I just ordered a plain one with ketchup & mustard, which was really simple but satisfying. I think they also had a rooftop bar. For me, it's a very high four stars, rounded up to five.

Greats of Craft at this location is on 43rd Street in the Long Island City section of Queens. Greats of Craft LIC is across the street from the hotel that houses Newsroom (speakeasy lounge-style establishment) & Lost In Paradise Rooftop. It is also walking distance from. Local Gallery NYC, Otis Finn Barbershop, etc. Greats of Craft LIC has 2 floors - The 1st floor has spacious-enough indoor dining & some tables for outdoor dining. The 2nd floor has outdoor seating & beautiful rooftop-style views. Gorgeous skylines can be observed on a lovely, sunny, weathered day. The gentle breeze coupled w/ the breathtaking views can make one be there for hours - lol. Craft Beers, Wine, Cocktails, Coffee, etc. as well as food (ex. sandwiches, wagyu burger, fries, etc.) is available for purchase. The Wagyu Burger (sorry, I ate it so fast & forgot to take a picture-lol) melted in my mouth & the french fries were good. Although I am not a beer-kind-of woman, Greats of Craft has such a cool selection of beers on tap, I was intrigued. So, I got their Tap 20: Blushing, which is a sour beer from Foam Brewery that is in Burlington, VT. 12oz. was $10. Blushing had notes of fresh berries w/ a hint of lemon & it was light, refreshing & smooth. Special Shout-Out to the fantastic Greats of Craft LIC Manager. The manager & staff are all so hardworking, friendly, kind, give great customer service & provide such a warm, inviting atmosphere. Merch is available for purchase on the 1st floor - includes hats, shirts, snacks, sweet treats, coffee, water bottles, their signature tote, etc. The manager shared that the 2nd floor will be turned into a heated rooftop area for patrons to enjoy during the fall & winter season. Interesting cafe/beer bar/cocktail bar combo of a place. I tried a frozen pina colada, which had good flavor and alcohol content, but it was blended in a really creamy way that was like...too creamy? Beers were great. Fries were fine. The roof is a vibe. They also carry single-serve Caffe Panna ice cream in the cafe downstairs, so bonus points for that. Mostly rating for rooftop vibes and good beers!

This is one of my favorite spot to work remote and/or hang out with friends! It's incredibly spacious, and also has an upstairs rooftop outdoor deck that's perfect for relaxing, especially over the summertime. I also appreciate their support for local businesses!they offer a great selection of local craft beers and locally made products. Additionally, this location is ideal if you're looking for plenty of seating & outlets. The coffee & drink menu offers a variety of options & the service is fast. The staff members are always friendly & courteous, so it makes the entire experience great. I would recommend this place to any friends who wants to check it out!

Back at GOC, and this time for breakfast! Their morning offerings did not disappoint. We started with two perfectly brewed cappuccinos, just what we needed to wake up. The whipped Ricotta toast with salmon and the caprese sandwich (made specially for us ahead of its availability) were both delicious. GOC is an ideal spot for gatherings, especially for large groups. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a fantastic neighborhood gem!

I love this place. Great roof. Great speakeasy. Had s lot of fun here. Food was great too. Lots of seating choices. I still have the little cards they give out for the speakeasy up on my wall. Very classy.

Beautiful place in LIC. 2 floors. Spacious. Rooftop is gorgeous. Music gives it a nice vibe. They have a decent amount of finger foods on the menu. QR codes at the tables and you order from your phone and everything is brought out to you. 32 different beers on draft. Don't have many pictures cause I was here celebrating my nieces bday. But I will return. Had a really nice time.

Note: They are moving trivia to Mondays! My friends and I came for their last Thursday night trivia, which was a blast. There were 4 rounds, 10 questions each. It was a perfect length - there are some trivia games that last more than 3 hours and it can get a lot, but this was a little less than 2 hours. There is no Happy Hour menu :( but the drinks are decently priced. It's a more upscale-vibe than a local brewery, and it had great AC. Overall a fun experience, and I'd come again!

Serving up great vibes, beer, wine, and cocktails. The Greats of Craft's second establishment in LIC is the place to be on a nice day. Spanning two floors, this place is expansive with tons of seating. The rooftop is perfect for hanging with friends on a warm day. I'll definitely be back for more pours.

One of my gals held her birthday celebration here & I love the space that the Greats of Craft has! I love the open concept with the exposed brick. Brunch & drinks were delish (not to mention quick!) and it's the perfect place to play games as well. I will definitely make the trip back!

The Greats of Craft has opened in Long Island City, occupying a two-story building with a gorgeous rooftop that is perfect on days when the weather is nice. A big draw of this establishment is the extensive selection of craft beers, including many drafts to choose from and a variety of cans and bottles (avoid the corkage fee by taking them home). There's even a cafe, brewing up coffee and espresso drinks as well as teas and the like. The food selection is a bit of a work in progress. I suspect they're still figuring out how to best make use of their space, or maybe the menu is at an intermediate stage. It also appears that they've been a little short-staffed, so hopefully after these initial growing pains the whole enterprise will run smoothly.

Nice rooftop chill/easy spot for group hangout. Cocktail are batched so we just went with wine. Fries was rebaked which gave a nice burnt scent surprisingly.

Pros: good vibes and view. Great space. Cons: cocktails were decently priced but laughably watered down. I'm not convinced there was even a drop of liquor in any of our drinks.

Beautifully done space! Multiple seating options ( inside or outside bar, sidewalk or inside table, rooftop). Multiple drink options ( beer, wine, coffee, cocktails). Small food menu. Staffing on a Thursday afternoon was more than adequate. Wish there was a similar place on the south shore of Brooklyn.

New GEM in LIC. Love the ambiance as soon as you walk in. Ordered a pizza and a margarita to start. Both items were delivered to the table so quick. Enjoyed the margarita and espresso martini. Definitely stop by and check it out.

Disorganized. Waited forever during a night that is not even busy. Couldn't get into the rooftop next door so we checked out this venue. Turned out to have no views. Save a trip

What an experience! We were honored to attend the soft opening on 4/28/24 of the new Greats of Craft,Long Island City! 36 beers on tap, wine and drinks are just the beginning . Many beers available in the cooler too. GOC has three distinct spaces: first floor, Bar Enzo and the Rooftop. The first floor has lots of tables inside and out. Bar Enzo was not open yet but we peeked inside and it promises to be a cozy "speak easy" vibe bar. The rooftop is roomy with a great view of the Queensborough Bridge. A big 12 foot tv screen will be installed in May. Staff was friendly. GOC will be a great addition to the neighborhood!

Imagine opening a coffee shop and then only playing thrash metal. They just don't go together. I came here expecting a relaxing atmosphere, especially given the importance of ambiance in a beer spot. Unfortunately, the music was a disaster. The merengue and salsa played were loud, jarring, and completely out of place. This isn't the vibe one expects when wanting to chill and enjoy a craft beer. The music made it impossible to relax and detracted significantly from the experience. I won't be returning unless the music selection improves drastically.

The drinks were great and the ambiance is fun and chill lots of space to sit. I would totally recommend

This is a great addition to LIC. It's spacious and the vibe is giving! The interior design is well thought of. They have a large collection of beers. The owners and staff are friendly. Continue to be great!

I get that the name of the joint is "Greats of Craft" (beer), not "Greats of Food", but these guys really need to step up their food game. Cold fries, cold and small chicken tenders, cold hot chocolate, cold matcha, cold buffalo wings. Come on, guys: it's not that hard. Pleasant servers. Nice roof deck. Good beer selection.

Awesome addition to the neighborhood! Had an amazing Chai Latte & Egg Sandwich here today. Delicious! Loved the ambiance. Service is great. Will absolutely be back for more food & drink. Highly recommend.

As someone who's been a regular at their first location in midtown east in Manhattan since it opened in 2019, I was thrilled when they launched a second spot located in LIC -- and it doesn't disappoint. This new location is much bigger, with plenty of space for any group size, whether it's an intimate hangout or a big celebration. But the real highlight is the rooftop--amazing city views, a great vibe, and perfect for both day and night. With a larger drink menu, a kitchen with a solid menu of bar bites, and the same friendly service, now with even more room and those unbeatable views, I'm officially hooked!

It's a new place and in the industrial part of LIC. Has nicely designed interior and great rooftop. Good place to meet up for drinks and take in the sun and city views. Tremendous selection of brews and decent wine and spirit selection too. The drinks are affordable ~$12-16 a drink. The food selection is not good and not tasty either. We had the fries, wings and grilled cheese. The Grilled cheese was all Ciabatta and not much cheese and a bit over toasted too. The wings were heavily breaded and soggy. The fries were ok but nothing special at all. The worst part unfortunately were the bartenders. They acted like they didn't to tend the bar. Drinks stayed empty and they had to be flagged down. Note for newcomers, upstairs they have water at both ends of the bar and you re expected to go and pour your own. This is not a problem if you are told this but the bartender acted like this was known. However when I asked for water the first time he got it so I thought like any normal customer this was the norm. But upon asking for a refill I was told you see it down there don't you, fill it yourself. They weren't packed so there was no excuse to be rude about it. But hopefully he was just having an off day. I would stop through here is on a bike ride or jog and wanted a quick pint with fresh air.

After a recent Sutton Place to LIC move, we have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Greats of Craft LIC. We were frequent patrons at the 54th and 1st location (loved the trivia), and so nothing was stopping us from visiting on opening day. They truly nailed this place in every aspect. The food and drink selections are phenomenal, so much to choose from both on tap and canned. The sandwiches were delicious, both of us were talking about how we will 100% be ordering the same things again. The merch selections were great, my husband got a T-shirt and I got the tote bag!! Can't wait to rep! To top it all off the overall vibes and decor of this location really take the cake. Keeping to the LIC warehouse/industrial vibes the main tap room is cozy but open, and will be a great spot to sit by the open window and enjoy a beer. The rooftop speaks for itself, but since I'm here might as well express my excitement for many summer sunsets up there. 10/10 in every way; you can tell a lot of thought and love went into it and that it will be thoroughly enjoyed by the community it's calling home!

The beer selection, cocktails, food & service are all 10/10! The staff goes above & beyond to make every customer feel like a priority. Great place for a chill hang or a special occasion. Definitely try one of the hot dogs!! Especially the beer cheese.

The warehouse vibes are strong with this one, as is the beer selection. Can't say enough good things and was grateful to see the place humming during the soft launch. Guy who owns this spot started with his first location around 1st and 53rd. He's very good at making his places truly about the neighborhoods they're in, and that shines through. This is 100% going to be a day-date, work event or summer lounging go-to for me. Check them out.

Such a gem. Everything here is thoughtfully crafted. The decor, the vibe, the drink (beer, coffee, wine, cocktails) selection, the food selection. It is spacious, modern, and clean. The upstairs is so nice, with the outdoor seating, and it is great really any time of day. I regularly work from GOC LIC, or go on date night there, or just come by with some co-workers for happy hour. In any event, I cannot say more nice things about this spot - highly recommend!
