"The Queensboro Bridge doesn't get enough credit for how pretty it is, but you only need one drink at The Greats Of Craft in Long Island City to start singing its praises. In addition to great views, the rooftop bar here has tons of seating. (Should the weather refuse to cooperate, there’s plenty of space inside.) Grab one of the three dozen different beverages on tap, including some interesting beers, ciders, and hard kombucha, as well as wine and cocktails. And if you get hungry, there’s also a small selection of bar food classics—even an ice cream sandwich they’ll stick a candle in for your birthday." - bryan kim, molly fitzpatrick, will hartman
"A Midtown East craft beer spot has a second location in LIC, with a rooftop that looks pretty exciting. At Greats of Craft, you can get all sorts of local brews, including an opening collab with LIC brewery Fifth Hammer called Queensboro Pilz-a. There’s a full coffee program in the mornings, they’ll have bagels on the weekends, and Caffè Panna ice cream in their grab and go." - will hartman

"Tom Colicchio’s flagship restaurant Craft — now celebrating its 20th anniversary in the Gramercy Park neighborhood — has always enjoyed an intimate relationship with mushrooms: roasted, buttered, sauteed, or pureed. There are always a number of mushroom choices among apps and sides, depending on season. Delivered in a pan, the restaurant’s classic assortment of mushrooms is on pandemic hiatus, but at press time, there are roasted black hen of the woods flavored with shallot butter with herbs as well as butter-poached morels. You can blow more money on mushrooms here than at most other restaurants in town." - Robert Sietsema
