The Green

I’m always looking for a nice and low-key date night or girls night out spot and this place has it all. There are professionals that come in to practice, but for amateurs like me, I still feel like I have a place. There are arcade style games that I can play to learn the game and how to swing. While teeing off you can also order food and drinks that come right to your bay. It is a bit pricey, but if you come with a group of friends, that’ll help with the cost. Parking is free and secure (not sure if that’s only for a certain amount of time). And it’s in a great location.

This is such a fun spot for all ages. Went here for the first time and had a great experience. The Green is an indoor immersive golf - simulation experience that you can enjoy alone or in a group. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a novice like me , this is the place to tee off in style. There are so many different arcade style games you can choose from. They also have a nice food selection , we had the Margherita flatbread, bruschetta and chicken sandwich. All three of the items were delicious and are perfect shareable. I love that they covered parking available in the same building. Check it out for your next date night, GNO, or family time.

Really fun place! Welcoming atmosphere for people who do or don’t play golf. Service, drinks, and food were great. Shout out to the manager, Nick, for being so welcoming. This was my wife’s first time playing golf and she loved the experience. We are looking forward to going back!

I will be the first admit that I’m not the biggest golfer and !not really any good at the game of golf. However, from time to time I will go to the driving range or the odd golf Simulator, like this place. I recently visited here with my sister, who is much better and bigger golfer than I. First, I loved the atmosphere. The vibe is very mid-century modern with the furnishings to match. They also have a nice bar with many TV screens with sports playing. They even have a TV screen in the simulator bay should you want to watch a game during your golf play. Second, the food is good. Most food at golf simulator places is little more that reheated microwave food. The Green seems to be different. We ordered buffalo chicken wings and the margherita flatbread. While I don’t actually know if they made it or just reheated it, the food definitely tasted better and more like food made in a kitchen than other golf simulator places. Four, they have good cocktails. I tried the Long Ranger and the Sneaky Transfusion. If you don’t want beer or a hard seltzer while you play, their cocktails are a must. Five, parking is free and in a covered garage on site. This was a nice touch as there is no street parking in that area. Six, I enjoyed the golf simulator play. Again, I’m not a great golfer, but I still enjoyed myself. I like that the hitting surface has a variety of options to simulate a real golf course, such as two types of rough. I also like all the great courses to choose from and the driving range option. A another nice feature is that after you take a shot there is a video replay of your shot from a above the head of the club and a side view of your body mechanics. What sealed the deal for me was the mini games. If don’t want to play a full round or go the driving range, these games are a fun alternative. For example, I played a game where you hit the ball to smash windows. In all, this is a must visit golf simulator.

Best in town. Don’t waste your time anywhere else. The Green is where it’s at! The best simulator technology in Chicago paired with amazing food, great drinks and an incredible staff. What else could you ask for? Perfectly priced and parking available on site. They can easily accommodate both a big group party and just a couple of friends having a good time. I can’t wait to come back!

The Green is by far the best indoor golf experience in Chicago. They have state of the art technology in Golfzon (immediate feel/response to your shot, I prefer it over Trackman), a great staff and awesome leagues/events. When/if something goes wrong, the staff always find a way to address the issue and make it right. People often comment on the automatic ball retriever - a simple fix is 1) have enough balls queued on the side you’re hitting on or 2) reshuffle the balls in with your club. Pretty simple. I’ve seen them host birthday parties, groups of veteran golfers, first-timers and beginners alike. The staff goes above and beyond to make the experience fun. My buddies and I still enjoy the other options in Chicago to mix it up from time to time, but The Green is by far our favorite.

Perfect for beginner golfers to learn in a judgement-free environment. Everyone has such a fun and teaching spirit and happy to help you improve your swing! Every dish I've tried on the menu has been impressively tasty!

Had my birthday here in December and the staff were extremely helpful in putting it all together! - Had a group of 12 and after booking online, the staff ensured I had side-by-side bays for my group, since the limit is 6 people per bay. - Booked it for 2 hours and it still didn't feel enough! Could easily spend more time here, as the games and virtual driving range are very addicting. - Food is about what you would expect in terms of bar food. Wasn't blown away by the quality. Ordered an espresso martini that was on the stronger side and less flavorful.

Actually managed to win some! @ & + Huge 10,000 sq ft with 8 bays (6 ppl each) Good cocktails & food to share , Happy Hours Mon to Fri 5-6:30 for $5 draft & $6 old fashioned  Parking available (2 hours free per 24hr) Simulator has 7 different games to play like color blocks, golf darts, or shot for points There's easy , medium, hard levels you can sign for so that everyonr has fun! I started with easy and gradually went to medium - Swing plate has 24-position that adjusts  - Full rounds of golf available  - 6 week rolling leagues available to join - You an even chip & putt here with 5 different hitting surfaces - 2 hours game play (went by so fast!) - darts & frozen castle game (I played easy then ended with medium, Ben played medium then hard) - Tequila Aperol Spritz, Kiss My Putt - Warm pretzel with beer cheese, margarita flat bread . Catching up on Yelp reviews and I visited the Green back in September. The space is extremely nice and I think the technology is better than Five Iron Golf. I loved how the lie angles changed, you have different shots from the sand & rough, and you can putt. Prices are tiered exactly like Five Iron Golf as it's more expensive during prime time. There is a parking garage within the development where you can get your ticket validated. The turkey club and tots are pretty good! I enjoyed the Old Fashioned as well. Overall, I thought the Green is a very good golf simulator and a nice option to compete against Five Iron Golf!

Was a member with "Founding Member" status, in writing. This status protected members, who joined early, from rate increases and changes in benefits. Management decided to introduce tiered memberships, and remove everyone's Founding Member status, regardless of what was sold to them, because the previous employee who sold that membership was no longer with The Green.

Gorgeous and ginormous oval quartz bar, sexy indoor fire pit, great sound and lighting - this place is fantastic for cocktails, Kobe beef hot dogs (yesss!) televised sports and generally cool hang-outs. BUT, it's also the best golf simulator spot I've ever seen, hands down! Huge bays with clubby seating, even a VIP bay. Brand new, super slick clubs really upped our game. The ball pops up out of the floor each time so you don't have to chase it into the pit, you can hit off fairway, rough and hazards AND the floor moves to simulate a real-time lie. There's even a floor light to help line up your putts. I was amazed. For less embarrassing golfers than me, soon you can upload high def video of your shots directly to your social media! Did I mention there is also on-site garage parking?

This business does not honor commitments. Do not sign up for any commitment. They changed rules on me a couple times during the one year period that I was a member at The Green.

What a great spot. With rain in the forecast we decided to get out for some golf. The simulator is state of the art. Chris started us off and gave us some tips on how to operate. Better than others I've used in the past. They had clubs for us to use and we had a blast. The interior is beautiful and they've got a full bar and menu. We'll definitely be back.

This place was great. I booked an hour to hit my new clubs and the simulator was one of the best I've seen. Hit in a slope, a bunker, or off the auto tee! Staff were very welcoming, checked in on me several times, and beer was served in an ice cold glass. If I wasn't moving away I could see myself buying a membership. Parking tip: it's covered parking in the same building. However, it uses the shared building's parking system (qr code). There's a validated parking option and they have the code to use. So park, remember your spot number, go inside to grab the access code, and start your session.

My BF and I have never even held clubs before but we went here for date night and it was so much fun. I was a little nervous but the staff was amazing and helped us settle into games that were more our skill level. Drinks and snacks were great. The place has a great atmosphere. Would def go again with a group of friends or even as a work outing.

One of the better simulators out there. Auto ball tees up for you. It has different hitting surfaces, rough, fairway, sand trap, etc. And the hitting surface adjusts its angle depending if you are not on flat ground. Cool retro vibe inside and food has been good every time I've come. They have parking in back and good quality clubs to use.

Every time we come to this place "they are closing" it's always an excuse. Since i feel this is a race thing the little fat bartender guy is always the one telling us these things. We come to spend money something this business needs, but no he always tells us they're closing . I give this place the maximum of 2-3 months before it shuts down seriously shitty service good luck.

Absolutely love this place. The best golf simulator facility I've ever been to and I've been to a ton - design is incredible, food and drinks are amazing and tech is perfect. Highly highly recommend. Blows 5i and x golf out of the water.

Top notch equipment, friendly staff, and an overall great environment. I have read the reviews, but I also have been a member for months, played in the leagues, and spent more time here than I probably should. I originally joined to work on my golf game. I was an every other weekend golfer and never really got any better so I joined before a client tournament so I could practice (in hopes of not embarrassing myself). It definitely helped. More importantly, I really enjoyed it. I can't spend 6 hours on a weekend with little kids at home, and so this fits the bill. 6 hours in a week, and I can play 9 rounds. The space is purpose built. The simulators have seating, tables, tv's, and outlets. The simulators are very accurate, have a hitting platform that adjusts to reflect your lie, and have different surfaces for rough and sand shots. You can download the app and track your scores, stats, and even watch your swings. The swing feedback shows the club face angle, swing speed, and other relevant details. The video also captures your swing path, which can help identify why you are slicing or booking. There is ample seating, a big bar, and some other common areas (good for an event). The food has evolved a bit and all the food I have had has been good. The sandwiches in particular are quite tasty. The staff all know me be my name and have always been helpful and more than accommodating. They don't have tons of staff all day because that isn't needed. If you go early, expect to be surrounded by the same regular members who don't need any hand holding. They staff up quite a bit at night when they have a boisterous, more causal, crowd. So, if you want a party atmosphere, go at night. If you want a calm, quiet space to practice, go before 4 (they are open early). And to those complaints about simulator availability and overall rudeness, the former is handled by booking the required amount of time up front, which is easy (and can be done online). Playing alone, you can play 18 holes in an hour easily (I have done 36, but that isn't recommended). 2 people will need about an hour and a half to get 18 (or perhaps a little longer, depending on skill). Four people who are drinking and chatting may struggle to get 9 holes in 2 hours. As to the latter issue, I have never experienced any rudeness (and, again, I have probably been 50 times).

Looking for a spot to hang out with friends or date night? The green is a golf simulator perfect for all levels. From golf darts to playing a full round of golf there is a game for everyone. I'm not very great at golf and we had so much fun. The bar also offers a large collection of drinks with cocktails, beers, and a shot list.

Easily the BEST indoor golf in the city. Great staff, fantastic food and drinks. I come weekly because it is that good.

We booked a charity event for about 50 people with the Green. The entire night went incredibly well. The bartenders were extremely attentive and nobody had to wait for a drink. They let us decorate the high top tables and even set up a table for silent auction. We rented out 5 bays with more of an open floor concept. Three bays were used for a scramble, one was set up for a dart board and the last one was a driving range. At the end of the night, we had a closest to the pin and longest drive competition. Overall, the Green hosted a fantastic event!

This place is so cool and high tech! I came here for my birthday and had a blast! The screen is VERY realistic when you putt, full swing, or chip. On the green they have a leveler (so sometimes you're hitting from a hill), there is also spot that feels like sand (so it feels like you are actually on a golf course), and even a place where lefty's can hit! The golf clubs that are provided are very nice and new (right and left handed). The food is pretty good, nothing bad to say! (There is also parking that is free for the first two hours you are there!)

Nice place. We had a Groupon, and we were not pro golfers by any means. Just there for some fun, and we enjoyed it. But the staff was unfriendly to us the entire evening

Honestly disappointed overall though unfortunately. -pros: Great simulator technology and a and equipment they supplied. - the service we would occasionally receive was OKAY. Cons: - lack of food choices. - lack of service (even though it was not busy). - one server was very unprofessional and I assume he was trying to be the "fun" employee. But used too much profanity and lack of knowledge on their drinks/food. - very expensive (in my opinion) - lastly - they charged us a large party fee (7 guests or more) @20% on top of our tab *we only had 6 guests. Toward the end of our time we were pressured to leave because they apparently had more reservations coming in - even though there were more than 2 bays open the entire time we were there

The Green is top notch! We watched the Masters here on Sunday and it was such a fun environment! Great service, amazing food and just good vibes.

I would like to Review Golf the Green. Don't invest and spend your money there. Here's why. I was shocked that after providing feedback to an employee who then spoke to the Managing Partner, Matt, called me to tell me don't come back and that I should consider going over to 5-Iron Golf because it was a better fit for me. Perhaps he didn't care for the feedback. Perhaps he doesn't care for anything negative. He told me that my monthly membership was rescinded as well, for the same reason. A twelve-month Membership is $250 per month and $3000 per year. So, imagine playing one day and at the end of the session, telling the day manager, Chris Trylong, that I was purchasing a Membership and I would like the session applied to its first month. He acted as though I was interrupting him. His reply was that he couldn't do that as they have a completely separate system for Membership. He told me that I would need to email Matt to see how to do the membership. I was surprised that I was told that they actually didn't have a way for me to purchase the membership while I was there. I have never seen a 5 month startup turn down a monthly cash flow. Ever. I sent the email to Matt requesting information on Memberships. I had a session the next day and afterward saw Matt and asked if they could credit the current session to the first month's Membership fee. I was again told that they used two different systems, but he said that he would credit it. I asked also about the prior day since that was when I asked to buy the membership. He replied no and I then asked how about a credit for it instead. No Customer service. It was as if they were doing me a favor by letting me use their facility. He said he would buy me lunch which turned out to be a lone sandwich. Might as well have slapped me in the face for the insult. Since I still needed a place to practice and Matt had offered me to use The Green as a place to provide golf instruction, I signed up for the membership anyway. After I did, I sent him an email telling him. and asked how he wanted to handle the refund. He sent an email back asking for a number where he could reach me. He called right back and banned me from his public establishment. I still don't know why. Could be age. The opportunity to teach there ended as well and that does have an impact on income. I didn't think that any company with a Vendor License in Illinois could just ban a paying Customer or anyone that they choose. The Green isn't for golfers. It is just a bar with a few golf simulators. I am Senior Citizen, golf writer, golf book author as well as a golf instructor. In my previous career, I was the Founder of a software company and a few other companies as well. I mention my golf life so that the golfers that read this know, that here, there is little focus on golf. @golf_by_the_book

This is one of the most high-tech golf simulators in the city! We had a blast checking out The Green & would love to take my dad here sometime soon!
