The Green Room

One of my absolute favorite bars downtown! It is such a cool unique atmosphere here and you can meet so many different personalities! All the bartenders have been helpful and polite. Matt is awesome at making up things to your preference if voiced. Always a clean atmosphere and never really any fights or drama like other downtown bars. Can be a little noisy especially on weekends so if that is not your vibe don't go otherwise it is a place you can genuinely go and enjoy your drinks and have a great time.

Solid drinks, good service, but overall the atmosphere felt off. Not exactly the coziest place to meet friends out for drinks.

Nicely appointed and comfortable bar. The cocktail menu is impressive, and the specials change regularly. We tried a couple inventive specials and were impressed. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We went in the afternoon on a weekday so it wasn't very busy. There will be outdoor seating available once it warms up enough. Very close to the Orpheum and other downtown attractions.

Not really food there but it's a real chill place to hang out at and it stays open late Update: they have the same bartenders which is a good thing they are all great at what they do even with the college world series they are all so chill just getting it done. Try the old fashioned

Hip and vibacious, trendy drinks that are so good. This is a place for the unique drinks, you won’t get your standard margarita here. But a definite must go and spend some time playing board games, darts, pool or just hang on the patio.

Was out exploring the city and I happened to walk across this bright green block. Immediately caught my eye. And being that it was about happy hour time, I walked in. It wasn’t packed, and I sat by the bar. Good vibes. Great drinks. Great staff and very helpful with recommendations—loved the Baby Unicorn drink, softly sweet with a kick! Would definitely be coming back.

Green room is good bar for most part until recently. Matt and Chris seem solid for most part but the females are snobs. I love everyone for most rather like me or not but these attitudes are something. It all changed when I tolled someone om not liberal or conservative Im independent. Although i wont go back there know more because i know where Iam not i will say it wasnt bad while it lasted. Theres a bunch of non woke bars out there so no love lost. Peace Out!

Had a great time at The Green Room a few Fridays back. Had a little too much fun and enjoyed the clarified espresso martinis a little too much. The waitress was awesome and super friendly and even offered to smoke my espresso martinis after I commented how good it smelled across the bar. Played some pool, met some people. Great time!

Great stop for drinks before a show at the Orpheum or for a night out! The Green Room has amazing specials for any type of alcohol you like and they mix it up every once in a while so it stays fresh. Depending on the time, it can get a little packed which makes the service a bit slow, but it's always worth it. Any bar with board games/darts/pool is also worth it in my opinion!

This is overall just a really cool bar! The decor is freaking awesome and all looks amazing, and the staff was all super duper friendly and welcoming. I totally recommend this place

The best cocktail bar in town. Chill bartenders and a solid crowd. Definitely your downtown young professional crowd.

Parking is metered. Clean environment with plenty of seating at bar and tables. Pool table. Two couches. Drinks were hit and miss. Friendly service. No food offered.

Really chill vibe here, which was beguiling on arrival. It looks retro, throwback, 70s funk meets NY speakeasy. We didn't know what to expect, but this exceeded it. The cocktails were all pretty good and well-crafted, especially the mezcal-based one with thyme oil. Service was that middle distance where they mainly leave you alone but they're very helpful, friendly, and personal when they do engage. Music was fantastic. Exactly the right volume, with beats that made you feel alive and happy at an almost subconscious level. I'd be interested in stopping back in for some off the menu cocktails and see how those go. This could well be an under the radar 5-star lounge.

Perfect place to grab a drink with chill vibes and great drinks! I've been here several times now and have had a good experience every time. I most recently got their coffee cocktail, and it was to die for. It was a great location to be able to grab drinks before a show at the Orpheum. Highly recommend!

The bar is a larger open space with bar in the middle. The decor vibe is a relaxed upper scale; nice low chairs with tables, high tops, bar seating, a pool table, and patio. We were quickly waited on at the bar and given options on a Friday night at 8pm. We grabbed the last patio table and by the time we got settled, the bar had filled inside. Prices were moderate but ingredients appeared to be inline. They also offered snacks for purchase behind the bar if you want a nibble with your drink.

Stopped in here for a quick drink after dinner after hearing about it from some friends. This place is known for their absinthe with I think 8 or 9 different options. My partner had always wanted to try absinthe so what better place. The bartender helped him choose an absinthe and he really enjoyed it. I didn't dislike it but really would only want a sip or two and then be over the flavor. They have some other signature cocktails as well. I tried Ma Bagge which was very unique with a slightly fizzy orange creamsicle-like flavor. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet and was truly not like any cocktail I've tried at other places. We will definitely be back but I'll probably stick to my normal gin and tonic in the future. I did notice they have a ton of different options for their liquor, including my favorite gin, grey whale, that most bars don't have. There's lots of different seating options as well with even a couch and games. Fair warning that it is a little pricey but they are truly unique cocktails that you can tell a lot of ingenuity goes into This will be a common spot for drinks when we're in the area!

We stopped into the green room for a cocktail before an event downtown and enjoyed the drinks that we had. They make their take on an espresso martini with peanut butter liqueur, which was quite tasty. Overall, a decent place to stop in for a drink downtown

Matt was such a bad bartender made me not want to be there ! Go anywhere else ! Was very rude and hostile towards everyone

Laid back atmosphere and some unique drinks; this was a pretty cool place! The bartender was super nice and answered my silly questions too.

Was leaving a concert downtown and looking for a place to have a few quick drinks and spotted the green room and thought it looked cool. My friend and I both loved all three drinks we tried. They have a unique cocktail menu. Their favorite was the Purple Nurple but I LOVED the Dr. Tan-Tang-Sinthe..not going lie I thought about asking for the piece of candy that was in it to go..This is the type of place you question if the drinks were made strong because of how good they taste..then you stand up and say "yes, yes they were"

Be careful using your cards in this place. I made the mistake of using my debit card and now have to dispute the transaction because the owner either hasn't been given my messages or is ignoring them. I was charged twice, I went back twice, spoke to 2 different bar tenders and no response or rectification. I only had 2 drinks so this is an expensive price to pay and I will not be returning to the Green Room.

What a fun time my first night out in a Omaha!! Great music, good vibes. Reasonable price drinks, and cool environment. In walking distance to other local bars located downtown area, service was good. This is a place I would come back to visit whenever I return to Omaha.

I loved this place and cannot wait to return. The bartenders were all attentive and friendly, and the prices were really reasonable for downtown. They have a pop up food thing on some Fridays and often have "kick the keg" type nights featuring local brewers. The noise level is typical so this isn't the place for a full deep convo, but if you want something low key with good vibes, this is the spot!

Lively | Hospitality | Options Lively - we went on the Wednesday before thanksgiving. It was packed. A lot of people were there and they had a mobile food service in the back. The overall spirit was positive and people were defínelo trying to push it up. Hospitality - all of the people working were very nice and helpful. They were knowledgeable about all the drinks and the associated pros and cons of each. I was especially impressed by the service of Matt. He had great vibes and gave us the low down on the area. Options - they have one of the most impressive drink menus I've seen in a while. They have great depth and breath of options at an outrageously affordable and reasonable Pro tip: they have live music every Friday around 10pm Pro tip: every Wednesday night they have a pop-up food vendor in the back of the establishment

I cannot tell is this place is kind of pretentious or if perhaps my friends and I are all just uncultured because every time we come here we all spend $14 on a drink that we can barely get down The menu is very fancy... like cbd infused ice cube kind of fancy. We usually end up trading drinks between ourselves till we find the one we dislike the least lol. I do love coming here to play darts and they've also got pool and an outdoor seating area. I wish I was fancy enough to enjoy the drinks, they clearly take a lot of craft, but they're just not for me. I need to stick to my vodka cranberries. If you aren't into very fancy cocktails, you could probably skip this spot. This bar has a great setting for meeting up with friends. There is plenty of seating and the darts and billiards are fun for a group to enjoy. If you want a bar you can sit down and enjoy a drink and really talk to one another, this is a god spot.

Loved the atmosphere at the Green Room but the noise level was loud for 10:45 PM IMO. They had a dj playing music, which was good for the most part, but it was very loud. You have to shout to be heard across the table. For that reason, our group stayed for one round of drinks and decided to move on somewhere a little more casual, as that was the vibe we were looking for. I imagine a little bit later on this place would be more fun. They had a nice variety of very creative cocktails. Not the cheapest, but not outrageous either. One thing they did was put a lot of very small pellet ice in the drinks, which was unique. It's kind of like that easily crushable ice you get at the fountain pop machine at a gas station. I've just never seen it before in cocktails.

Fun, friendly, good drinks, outdoor seating. Pool, darts, cozy. Would visit again when visiting Omaha.

Quickly and easily becoming my favorite bar in Omaha! The prices are what you would expect for the downtown market and this caliber of establishment. They have large doors that open to the outside but are screened, so you can enjoy a breeze inside without pests. There is ample seating with booth/table type seating as well as comfy bar stools and dreamy emerald couches. The staff was extremely knowledgeable of their menu and were happy to provide great customer service and recommendations. My favorite drink is the Dignified Delight - a riff on a French 75. I am excited to come back and try out Eden's Secret.

The green room is a very intimate and awesome bar for drinks and hanging out. You can go there with a group of friends and get a table or sit with your significant other as I did at the bar which was a great experience. The menu is constantly revolving (every 6 months or so) and the drinks we tried were fantastic. The bar has a pool table and an "alley" to play darts. I would definitely come back again!

Bouncer is a goof ball. Massive group of 30 year old wedding guests and he wouldn't let the bride in who didn't have ID.

Very cute, clean, fun and hip bar in the outer old market downtown Omaha. A block away from the Orpheum it was a PERFECT place to stop for a drink before Wicked! Bartender was very nice and knowledgeable! Good prices!

I've wanted to check this place out for a while now and the stars finally aligned on a recent Saturday night. I will say...the crowd was young, the overwhelming majority being in their 20s but the cocktails and ambiance were amazing. They were packed but service was great and we were able to find a comfortable place to sit. I recommend the drink with the whipped pea foam top, sooo good. When I am downtown, I will defining come back!

I went here shortly after they opened and I really liked this place. At the time I went, they were advertising something like high-class drinks at dive bar prices, which was definitely not the case. A smaller old fashioned was like $11, which wasn't necessarily dive bar prices. I see that since then, they updated their slogan to 'Classy cocktails. Humble prices.' Which definitely makes a lot more sense. The old fashioned was pretty good. I asked the head bartender to take me on an adventure. He asks you a few questions and created a completely custom cocktail that you've never had before. My drink was herbal and super delicious. The inside is pretty cool with laid-back seating and a couple dart boards. I would go back just for the 'Create your own adventure' experience.

Absolutely love this bar & it's location close to the Orpheum Theater! It's easy walking distance to have a pre-drink before the show or a nightcap afterwards. Even though it's only been open a week, the wait staff know exactly what they're doing! Since they're still working on a drink menu, I asked for something based on my likes & the execution was perfect! Props to the Mixologist! He had everyone happy at our table, so much so we all ordered a 2nd round. There's a lot to be seen at this bar, with their Retro décor, a hint of Green everywhere & big picture windows to watch the busy traffic go by. I was able to talk with the manager; Andy said the garage doors will open in the summertime to patio seating. Sounds inviting! This will definitely be a stopping point every time I'm in the area! I was impressed.....check it out!

Craft Cocktails Great Seating You can ask for your favorite "baseline" to be turned into any drink and POOF it's Bliss Good Vibe Clean, Safe, it's a good place to visit and numerous locals attract to the place after working the downtown industry scene

I truly enjoyed my visit here, so much I went back a second night in a row. To start off, this place had a hip feel to the establishment and featured good rock/ punk music while I was visiting. They elevate cocktails offering a rotating menu of great hand crafted drinks. Not to mention a fantastic bourbon list with great allocations. I will definitely be back next time.

My spouse and I are visiting for a cousins wedding. We found this place by chance on Yelp. I'm a bourbon fan, so my go-to is usually an Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned I had here was one of the best I've had. The bar tender is a true mixologist who cares for their craft. And the ambiance was A+. Great music, totally chill vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting a time or two again before we leave.

So in my exploration for seeking out the bars in Omaha, I found a gem. The place is cool with nice ambience. They even have an outdoor patio. It has open seating concept and you have to get the drinks from the bar. The bartender was amazing. I just asked him that it is my first time here and I like whiskey based cocktails and then I trusted him. The drink he made was great, it was a combination of whisky n blueberries. The add on to this amazing place is the board games section. It's is cool place to hangout with friends, you can play and enjoy your time with amazing drinks. I will definitely be going there.

I've known Matt for about 7 years since he was a bartender at The Hive. The man is a genius! Green is my favorite color. The delicious cocktails, friendly staff & comforting atmosphere is the reason I recommend The Green Room to all my new friends. They just dropped a new menu... I tried Merlin & 59'ers Ghost... but LET ME TELL YA Merlin is a WIN legit one of the best cocktails I've ever tasted... and I've tasted many in my day IM OBSESSED

Green room is a great place to hangout with friends. They have a ton of games, billiards, and darts. They are always changing their cocktails which are all really good and creative

Such a fun environment! If you're looking for a cool spot, with good music and good drinks... You just found it. The atmosphere is always so great here and so is the staff. They also have board games and a chestboard! My favorite time to go is the summer when the patio is open...it is so beautiful but it's a great spot year-round!

This was a surprise for me. I was early for a show in downtown Omaha and to kill some time. Ordered a green cocktail and it was yummy and strong. The place friendly and laid back on a Thursday evening. I will be back. Ice vibe.

I really like the design & decorations here! Service is really good, staff here are really friendly! But I do think if they have more cocktails on the menu would be better!

The GR, what a pleasant surprise! The patio looks great and seems to be uniquely placed on edge of Old Market. Drinks were great, knowledgeable staff and worked diligently to make sure everyone had something they wanted and liked. The menu has some surprises, give it all a chance. They had live music last night (Friday) which was great to hear and had been missed. Felt good to be out amongst people but not feeling like we were pressed to be in and around the crowd. I recommend to give it a shot.

Not good, not worth the money. Sadly I was let down by the entire experience. Hopefully it gets better

Went here last night with some coworkers for a few drinks. Felt an interesting vibe. Was not busy at all. Service was great, prices were descent. Was hoping it would be busier but I guess I can't expect much on a Tuesday night. As a visitor from out of town it has appeared to me the entire city is like a ghost town. Not much of a city life here but I would suggest the place to others.

This is HANDS DOWN the best bar in Omaha. Matt makes the best cocktails and you will have drinks you've never heard of or seen before that are all AMAZING! My FAVORITE bar every time I'm in town.

Great bar since day one, amazing craft drinks and fun/interesting staff. I honestly cannot think of a better place to cut lose and have a few drinks in Omaha. The owner selects a very tasteful collection of live performers and always makes an effort to engage everyone in conversation. So grateful they stayed open during Covid-19. I highly recommend checking out the green room.

I've been to Tge Green Room and have enjoyed it every time. The atmosphere is a little upscale but also very comfortable, they have some TV for watching sports, the bartenders and staff are attentive and always on top of their game. This is becoming a regular stop for me.
