Oh My Goodness!!! what a classy and Fun place. My friend and I were in search of a place that has live bands. This place did not dissapoint! The owner, waiters, food and bartenders were so attentive to details. The lamb meatballs were Amazing along with the Korean Wings. Our main dish NY strip steak and pan seared Salmon was cooked to perfection. The live band was a cherry on top of our evening. I will definitely be back and will be bringing more friends with me. Came to the Green Room to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation for 8:45pm and we were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. We were taken to a table in the back room where the band was playing. It was loud, but the music was enjoyable and we were still able to hear each other talk. The restaurant is beautiful and definitely sets the atmosphere for a date night. We started with the calamari and it was hot, fresh, and delicious. The dipping sauce was perfectly seasoned and had a kick to it. We had the cucumber and tequila drink which is very similar to a margarita. We added spice and it was delicious and well made. For the main course, my husband and I both ordered the short ribs which were served with mashed potatoes and roasted rainbow carrots. 10/10 delicious! The meal tasted like it was made by your mom on a Sunday. The band played two sets and sang me happy birthday, which was really special. Then, the waitress came out with a birthday cheesecake slice. I really enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely come again frequently!

Overall rating: 4.7 Super cute place, but I wish this place was just 20% cheaper. Same prices as Manhattan hurts my soul. I came here on a birthday party & can tell this is more of a date spot than anything. Items I loved in order: - Calamari 6/5 - sooo good and I will come back for this - Truffle Fries 6/5 - amazing - Beef sliders 5/5 - good & a great meal replacement if you’re not looking for anything heavy - The morning after 4/5 - good - Korean chicken wings 4/5 - eh, nothing special - Bitter sweet symphony 2/5 - this is not an espresso martini. Mine had some type of cream/ baileys, but the ingredients don’t imply that. It was very weird. This will definitely be on my rotation for date bars in my area.

I visited The Green Room a few times. Me and a feiend had calamari and the chicken wings for starters and I had the salmon and my friend had the mushroom pasta. We both enjoyed our food. John is the new Berverage Director and Head Bartender. John makes the best drinks! John's drinks have layers and levels to them. His drinks don't skim on the alcohol and somehow it still taste amazing. The owners are very friendly. They make sure that everyone feels welcome and has everything that they may need. I will definitely be frequency returning!

I didn’t try the food but it looked pretty good and I heard great feedback from my friends. I ended up here to watch the Super Bowl and when I walked in I was not disappointed at all decor amazing, energy amazing, and the drinks were so good. I wasn’t doing hard alcohol that night but my friends had some amazing drinks! Blood orange Margarita, and I had a Blood orange Bellini. They have a great back room for events and catering too! I’ll definitely be back, thank you to Huggy and the entire staff for such a great night and service!

10/10 Definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning. The service was great, the drinks and the food were phenomenal. I had the short ribs and mash potatoes and Im not a fan of ribs be these were exceptional from the seasoning to the tenderness. I also had the Korean chicken wings which were crispy and delicious, as well as the calamari, truffle fries and lamb meatballs. Live band was also great. Went out with a couple of my coworkers and a time was had. Definitely a date night spot as well.

Went to the bar to have couple drinks with my best friends. The atmosphere was definitely giving chill grown vibes, like laid back and just relax mode. Didn’t get any bites but the drinks were delicious

Now this is how you create a bar/restaurant. The attention to detail and the interior is really beautiful. The music selection was great. The design of the bar down to the wallpaper is gorgeous. The food was delicious. The drinks were strong. I think we missed happy hour, but the brunch looks promising everyone there was having a great time. It was very mixed young old all backgrounds And the bartender was really great. The food was a bit slow, but I understand staffing across the city is an issue

I had been eyeing this place way before they opened. I thought I wrote this review months ago and never posted it! So I decided to check out the menu, taste a cocktail or two and grab a bite to a while back, like months ago a while back. When I initially posted them on insta someone loved it so much they decided to use the venue for a reception event. We had a prefixed menu and everything was so flavorful and filling. I had the short ribs with mash potatoes and it was insane. Other folks had the duck confit and I was kinda mad I didn't order that. Super tender and delicious! The cocktails are potent and the staff are so nice. I love that this is a BIPOC owned business and they also feature live music on either Friday or Saturday nights. It's definitely a go-to spot in my neighborhood and its interior is beautiful for sipping on a cocktail or hosting a party or event. Love this place and its space!

12/17/24 Last minute drink with friends. Great neighborhood bar. Friendly staff. I didn't partake but friends enjoyed immensely. I plan to return so as I can partake.

The Green room did not let me down at all, I must say I walked in with high expectations and was greeted with a above and beyond outcome. As you enter the ambiance just captivates you, a very dim, classy, warm and welcoming feeling. It feels like you've stepped back in time with a more modern feel to it. The classical jazz music playing with a live band that goes on stage and plays , it's definitely giving date night. Grab who you're talking to, your girlfriend, your wife this is the place to romanticize. I started off with the blood orange margarita, it was perfection, well balanced and strong. I really couldn't get over how good it was I had to order two. I also followed up with the Bahamian rhapsody which was equally flavorful and strong, let me not forget the drinks are of quality liquor. For food I had the Curry chickpea and I was in awwwwwwwww the entire time, for someone that doesn't eat me it's a gem to find places that offer a good amount of vegan option. The curry chickpea was well season and cooked, I enjoyed every single bite. My entree was the mushroom linguine, I'm a major fan of mushrooms and was ecstatic to see that within the ingredients. The pasta was boiled to perfection and the mushrooms and tomatoes was packed with flavor, it was the overall perfect combo. The service was on par, the staff was very attentive, informative of the menu, outgoing and receptive of personal space. Overall I'll give The Green room a 10/10, if you're into finding a very classic, grown, calm vibe this is the place to be.

I've really enjoyed the addition of The Green Room to PLG. It's a unique space with a railroad layout each room bleeds into the next. The decor is lush and the ambiance is sexy. The back room has a stage for performers. The IG keeps up with posting all the events. My favorite dish is the chickpea curry with garlic crostini. My husband also loved the lamb meatballs. Cocktails are strong and pretty. The service is always great, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Glad PLG has a great oasis for these cold months ahead!

I came for an event the first time here and it was top tier. So I decided to come back and check out brunch. I came in on a Sunday and it was quite and no wait for a seating. We sat at the bar area which was good. The service was excellent and the drinks were tasty. When I went there was no brunch drink specials. I order the shakshuka with a side of bacon and it was delicious. The brunch menu is small but still worth trying.

Came here for brunch. I was so disappointed with the food and portion sizes. I found the prices to be too priced. , I ordered the pancakes - but they were more like the size of silver dollars (mini pancakes). The pancakes were only ok, nothing special and I had to wait about 5 minutes for syrup. I also had a salad to add to the meal and it was more like the size of a side salad. I will not be back for brunch. Not the spot to go to for brunch.

The Green Room is a new addition to the neighborhood that has potential, especially which a good selection of live music. The interior is beautifully decorated following the green & gold scheme to the small details. The service is very friendly and clearly strives to provide a fine dining experience in a bar style setting. The cocktail list includes some interesting creations and the small bites list is very appealing with good value for money. The gazpacho was particularly good. The entrees on the other hand are overpriced, despite being well executed and tasty. For $28, I expect more creative dishes with at least two side elements, not just a cup of rice with duck leg or a few stalks of asparagus beneath a filet of salmon, and a sauce dish should be wiped on the outside before leaving the kitchen. Strawberry chutney finger prints are after all not very appealing and very messy. Maybe sticking with a tapas style menu of small dishes only would serve better for now.

Amazing cocktails and good happy hour price (20%off drinks and apps) and food was good as well. Loved the simple garlic sauce mushroom pasta and lamb meatballs. Very delicious. Already went back! Staff is very welcoming and courteous.

Went here recently twice, it is very cute and clean inside. Nice vibe, they have a back room where there is jazz and different music being performed sometimes. The drinks are solid--the only thing is --if the musicans are in the back playing, staff then turn up the speakers in the front and it's hard to hear the person sitting next to you speak. Food is good, and the service was great! Will for sure be back

I found a GEM in Brooklyn!!!!! Not only was it Black-owned it was one the best restaurants I have been to in a very long time. Huggie greeted us with a smile, ensured we understood the menu and made sure we were comfortable. Bre the bartender is amazing and recommended several delicious drinks which was refreshing. My main dish (baked salmon & asparagus) was amazing. Be sure to try the varieties of hot sauces offered you will be in for a treat. The ambiance was beautiful and matched the personalities of all the employees. The location was easy to get to, parking wasn't bad and the quality of music was superb!!! I will definetly be back very soon perhaps this weekend :).

Went to visit family in Brooklyn who raved about this restaurant. After visiting, I can say that it's a great addition to the neighborhood. The decor, vibe, music and food were top notch! The bartender (sorry, forgot the name) made great drinks and the sliders were some of the best I ever had. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area!! Thanks for the great experience!

This was our last stop on our bar crawl and we were welcomed with open arms! Huggie was so kind to me and the girls and the live music set was amazing. We ended staying until the bar closed because we having such a time. The food was amazing, drinks amazing and the staff were amazing. The inside is beautiful! I highly recommend, I'm so happy for this new addition to the neighborhood. Looking forward to many more nights here.

Ok so I found this spot on Rogers a few days ago. It was open mic night, the ambiance was good , staff attentive, food was great and the drinks epic!! My brother and I had the smoked mezcal old fashioned! . Very nice!

First time coming to this beautiful restaurant. What caught my attention is that it offered a happy hour and it was promoting Hispanic heritage month. The place has a beautiful ambience. They had live entertainment, and the food was amazing. We can tell that the food is fresh, delicious and the presentation of the food is on point. My friends and I had such a good time. The staff at this place is very friendly and very attentive to our needs. This will become a regular spot.... great food, beautiful ambience, fantastic life band and the prices are very reasonable. The drinks are not weak and delicious!!

I went this past weekend and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and easy street parking. The Apple and Almond salad was fresh and delicious. The Calamari was fried but airy and light rather than greasy. The boneless Short Ribs plate has fall apart beef over creamy mashed potatoes. The service was great, attentive, and food arrived promptly.

Not sure where to start. This was an afterthought to check the box tonight and it stole the show. I dropped in to see what this place was like and the pictures don't do it justice. The band was playing jazz in the back, the game was on in the front without sound and the environment was welcoming. I ended up staying until close, when the light came on. I saw the detail even more, details that had already transplanted me back to the heights of the Harlem renaissance in crown molding, upholstery and aesthetics. Everyone on staff made it a point to introduce themselves and make sure you were seen, acknowledged and assisted. This establishment on a Thursday night, gave the intimate and rapport building sweet science that is no longer experienced anymore. I want to go back tomorrow night and just might. Bring the wife and then when possible, bring friends. From tap, to cocktails, food and smooth jazz. Best of all, staff that appreciates you more than the dollar in your pocket. This is a new Brooklyn gem
