The Green Room

We had a fantastic experience working a holiday event in the Green Room. The space was well-equipped, comfortable, and offered a great environment for the event. While parking can sometimes be a bit tricky in the area, offloading equipment through the service elevator made the process smooth and hassle-free. The staff at the venue were exceptional—always accommodating and easy to work with, which made everything run seamlessly. We truly appreciated the professionalism and warmth of everyone involved and are already looking forward to coming back for future events.

A great venue for guests and wedding couples. The space is so luxe and regal; a truly a hidden gem located right in the heart of SF. Attend a cocktail hour outside and you'll have a beautiful view of city hall. When you head inside the room for the reception, the room is that gorgeous Tiffany's box green with ornate gold trim and grand chandeliers. It is such a classy venue. As a floral vendor working at the Green Room was easy with a ramp for easy load in and out. The staff are friendly and helpful.

San Francisco Senior Centers held their annual fundraiser at the Green Room of the War Memorial. It is a comfortable and accessible place to have a celebration.

The place is gorgeous! I was here for the Jewish Film Festival opening night party. So this is where the grownups mingle. Located in the War Memorial Veteran's Building, it's upstairs on the second floor. If you're wearing fancy heels I recommend the elevator vs elegant staircase. From the loggia you have an unobstructed view of City Hall. At night it feels so swanky & cosmopolitan. This is a rare opportunity to feel underdressed in your standard San Francisco issue down jacket, polar fleece & sneakers. Wait, this room is in an administrative building? I thought I was standing in a mansion ballroom. Suddenly, your party has been upgraded to a soirée. The Beaux-Arts architecture makes a great canvas for the creamy mint green walls, flourishes of gold leaf, chandeliers, and grand curtains. And so I dusted off my party dress and hid the Uniqlo ultralight in my bag. I could definitely see a Bridgerton theme party here.

The Green Room is the jewel ( or maybe the Tiffany Box) of the city. It's an event space within the Veterans War Memorial Building across from city hall. It was an ideal location for a company event, so we booked the space. The event coordination managers and team were so helpful and honestly came through when needed. I had to schedule a few walkthroughs with coordination staff and caterers and they were beyond amazing at coming through to support our event. I highly recommend booking far in advance, not only for availability but the cost was not as much as expected. This is a great event location for any event, including weddings. I could see someone getting hitched at city hall or on the balcony here with that view.

The Green Room in San Francisco is a hidden treat. We went to a wedding here as I said and then I came back twice and it was fantastic. I came for Litquake and a gala recently. Any excuse to go to the Green Room is a good excuse to taste San Francisco history. The Green Room is in the War Memorial Opera administrative building. It's fantastic and a treat.

A lovely historical venue. Can hold a lot of people. Echos a lot so if you want to bring in sound - either make it loud or bring things to push the sound down. The balcony offers an exceptional view.

A friend of mine hosted his wedding here last week. What a beautiful venue. The Green Room is one of many rooms within the main building, directly across the street from City Hall. It's on the second floor in a well-maintained old building, hardwood floors, stained glass windows, curved staircases and all. You can guess why it's called the Green Room. Yes, the walls are green. Sort of a pastel teal vintage 1950s shade of green, with intricate gold wall paneling and luxurious chandeliers, all accenting its beauty. Th room isn't meant for a huge ceremony but perfectly suited our party. Possibly the best thing about it is the balcony. It offers a place for the wedding party to discreetly enter the main hall, but also gave all of us a place to mingle while the caterers magically changed the main hall from ceremonial seating rows to lovely dining tables. Also, the view (of City Hall's gothic architecture) from the second floor balcony were to die for; the people-watching was amusing (it's San Francisco, after all); and there was a surprising amount of protection from the Bay's relentless wind. Stunning venue.

We went to a wedding at this venue, and the room is LOVELY, but while the wedding party took pictures, there was a fabulous cocktail hour on the veranda. Cool breeze and lovely views... great food and beverage choices. The problem is that there was NO seating, and people had to stand for a little over an hour with one bench that would seat 3-5 people. Older guests, along with several pregnant women had no place to sit. It would have been nice if the venue had some seating along the wall for people who cannot stand for an hour.

Jameson has the most awesome customer service! Love his quirkiness! The cooks did an amazing job with our food. Will definitely be back again!

Great venue for an event! The view to city hall from terrace is unique! I enjoyed the space.

Beautiful venue, but the acoustics are terrible. If you have an event here make sure to have rugs brought in to absorb some of the noise.

Bartender odb Michael kills it. This entire place provides some sick tunes and awesome times! Definitely recommend checking it out down here in key west
