"If Coin-Op downstairs fulfills your dream of being an 80s kid in an arcade, The Grid fulfills the dream of being sucked into a video game. The reservation-only bar is based on the movie Tron and is built to look like the world in the movie called the grid (get it?). The room itself is pretty cool and the music isn’t limited to the Daft Punk soundtrack they made for the sequel. If you’re both movie geeks, this is a good stop on a date for a cocktail or two. All of the drinks in the bar have Tron-themed names, like the Forced Prize Fight with tequila, or you can go with the Grid’s Choice and the bartender will make you something custom." - Will Kamensky

Great fun here on an awesome track. The elevation changes really give a very different experience compared to most tracks. We drove an hour to try it. I was not disappointed. It was worth it. Staff was great, very polite. Carts are well maintained, no problems at all with any cart in our group over 3 races. I can't say that for other places. Seems like their is always one just like at the supermarket.

I had an awesome first experience with my son and girlfriend. We definitely need to come back! The people we were racing with SMOKED us. But it's a lot of fun. I definitely recommend checking it out!

7 of my friends and I came to the grid to celebrate a birthday. For several of us it was our first time ever. At the beginning of our first race there was a crash that made the employees slow down our go karts. That’s completely understandable but after that all but 1 of us were never able to get back up to full speed. I personally ended with my fastest race time being 1:20, with my pedal to the metal the entire time. For reference, my car worked properly the second race and my fastest lap time was 1:03. However one of my friends was still slowed down and repeatedly got hit by someone from a different group throughout the race to the point of breaking her nails and her bracelet flying off of her. The player that hit her was never slowed down or removed from the race. One member of our group went to discuss the matter to see if we could get a refund or another race because the first one was so bad. After 30 minutes of arguing they finally agreed to give us a free race next time, but many of us live several hours away and may never come again. I finally decided to just email the grid about all the issues we experienced and I received an explanation of what they think happened but they simply didn’t seem to understand my frustration. Since my race was just slow and not cut short, all I received was another free race. For some reason they seem to think I have any desire to come back, but I don’t. ALL I WANT IS A REFUND!!! AND MY FRIENDS DESERVE THEM TOO!!!!

Came here for date night. Definitely glad we did 2 races. The staff was helpful and friendly and makes sure everyone is safe and follows the rules. Brought my son back with friends and they loved it!

If you’re looking for high-speed indoor fun, The Grid absolutely delivers. The electric go-karts are fast, responsive, and way more powerful than I expected. The track is super well-designed—tight turns, long straights, and elevation changes that actually test your driving skills, not just your foot on the gas. The facility itself is clean, modern, and really well-run. The staff were cool and helpful, making sure everyone understood the rules but still kept things fun. They’ve got a solid timing system, so you can track your laps and get competitive with friends (or strangers). Bonus points for the lounge area, arcade games, and snacks—it’s a good spot to hang out between heats. Whether you’re racing for bragging rights or just blowing off steam, The Grid is hands down one of the best indoor karting spots around. Highly recommend for birthdays, group events, or just an impromptu speed fix. 🏁🔥

We went to a company party held at The Grid. The racing was fun and well organized. We got to play the arcade games and the lounge had a cozy living room, but art deco vibe. There were cubbies to store your belongings in while you race. And the track has 2 tiers, which was fun and exciting after a few times around and you could get oriented. It was an overall enjoyable evening.

Google
This is a REALLY COOL venue with an arcade and electric go-karts. The building is gorgeous and huge! They were adequately staffed with VERY friendly and knowledgeable workers. The arcade was fun even though a handful of machines need to be fixed up a little. $20 in the arcade got me some games on half-price night but if you plan on staying for a while, plan for more $$. The go-karts were fast, responsive and definitely worth the trip. You cannot make the other drivers obey the rules and it would be helpful to have better explanation of how the passing flag works to the group because I was stuck behind a line of cars having to slam on my brakes but they didn't heed to the flag. Oh well, it was a good use of a night!

Check in was a little confusing cause we had to finish out a couple waivers in person for our group. We were told to do it on the iPads, but not told we needed to return to the desk to finalize check in until about 5min before our assigned heat time. After check in we waited 30min or so without knowing when we would actually be racing and had to ask at the front desk again. They were running behind, but luckily it was the next heat after we asked. Would've been nice to have clearer directions of when it would be and where to go and wait. The racing itself was a blast. Heats are about 8min, and are a little over 1min each depending on how fast you go. We did the 3 heat package and were able to improve our times each heat! 1 heat would definitely not be enough. We definitely plan on going again sometime in the future.

Michelle L.

Yelp
They had both tracks open. The go karts were fast and fun! 2 members of our party were late and not allowed to race, BE ON TIME! They wouldn't refund me for the missing racers but they do credit your account. There isn't really room to pass so they have people hold up signs to tell you to move over which is nice. You are allowed 12 racers at once. Pricey but fun. They also had an arcade with prices. You get a free race for your birthday too!

Rebekka B.

Yelp
If you have hips at all, you won't fit in these cars. Although they had 5 sizes of helmets, they only had one option for car seat, and they are rigid plastic so there is no give at all. They really should have some sort of indication in the lobby on whether or not you'll fit in the seat BEFORE you spend $100 on a race. Also their arcade was ridiculously expensive. I spent $40 on 3 basic arcade 2 player games. Every game is a minimum of 10 - 15 credits. This is also the only option you have while you're waiting for your race after they make you show up a 30 min early, and wait between races.

Sizzy P.

Yelp
This place is shit car turned off and they didn't let me go again and pretty much a waste of my money, tried to give me 20% off next time I go there

Rebecca N.

Yelp
This speak-easy meets electric racing cars is just what we needed. The whole experience felt very adult, while the go kart racing made us all feel like kids. The check-in process and reservation system was a little arduous but it all worked out for our group of 8. Would definitely come back again.

Morgan F.

Yelp
So much fun! The staff were super helpful. They helped me shave 2 seconds off my lap time.

Caleb S.

Yelp
Great karting experience! I've been to many of the K1 and other gas powered tracks and this three level track is both well taken care of and a ton of fun! Karts have been in great condition for each of my visits, the place gets busy, so be sure to book your race ahead of time in their website.

Taylor R.

Yelp
Wow-such an original and unique place in Pleasant Grove! It's a very nice building on the outside and even better on the inside. We came and did the racing and was so impressed. Electric go-karts that go up to 40 MPH. How can you not want to do that? The track is two levels and you go up and down the whole time. Really fun and cool place for a day or night activity, date, or work party! They said they have a few things coming soon like a restaurant and axe throwing. Can't wait to see what additional services they provide. We will definitely be back!

Sean W.

Yelp
A little pricy but a great time! I have done other go karts like K1 speedway and this experience was much better. There are multiple levels and lots of interesting hairpins and descending s curves. The carts get good speed and you can use a boost every lap. Other than racing there are still things to do so come early. There is an arcade with unlimited games for 15 min that was a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend as something new to doing

Carson F.

Yelp
JC at The Grid was a ton of help and was super willing to what he could to make it a great experience for us. The arcade was great and the racing was a blast.

Conner C.

Yelp
Always such a great time at the grid! Gotta give a huge shout out to Connor and Kioni for always helping me improve my lap times and being super positive and fun to be around!

Lucy K.

Yelp
OMG. Best go cart racing. Awesome course, love the 3 stories. The lobby is really awesome, super cool ambiance. They also have an arcade and an area for parties. Super cool, would definitely recommend.

Megan P.

Yelp
was kinda confusing and really expensive. it was super fun though! just sorta not all that worth the price.

Annie G.

Yelp
I just went here for the first time and had so much fun! Like I said, first time and totally clueless. Every employee was super nice and super helpful and explained everything very well! 10/10 recommend!

Kevin L.

Yelp
Can't say enough about this place, but mostly the staff. Well... mostly EVERYTHING. Had a rough start to things, as I made a reservation for me and my 13yo son online, but the website didn't mention anything about non-driver licensed people not being able to drive without a qualification race first... let's just fast forward, because we ended up driving all the way down there then had to reschedule for the next day, blah blah... I was a little pissed that I blocked off the afternoon and got denied, but we figured things out. This track is outSTANDING! Seriously. I though K1 was the "best" around, but K1 seems 1975 compared to this place. Yeah... not a snowball's chance in Hell are we ever going back to K1. I want to point out the staff, particularly Les (I really hope I remembered your name correctly). Regardless, Les is the Track monitor with the shaved head. This guy made my afternoon. He was genuinely excited about The Grid, and you could tell he LOVES his job. He was a blast to chat with and never, not one single time, rushed me out because they had the next Heat coming in. Really, he made me feel like I owned the place. Sounds strange, but it's true. The guy completely made us want to come back a hundred more times. ***If Management is reading this, keep an eye on this guy... he will prove extremely valuable if Sales positions open up!*** Anyway, this track is grippy and the slicks on these karts are 100% legit. The karts themselves are SPOTLESS. The track and karts looked like it was opening day. The building outside, inside, lighting, ambiance, it felt like something out of Disneyworld. It really did. The race was phenomenal and the boost buttons on the carts were awesome! THREE LEVELS of track!!! Up, up some more, then a DOWN slope that makes you hold your breath! I'm actually a bit speechless right now... so many descriptions that I can't put them into words. I asked about a membership (because we are ABSOLUTELY going back!), but the girl at the desk said they are revamping the memberships and they aren't available just yet. But just KNOW that you have to try this place at LEAST once! Les!! Thanks again, brother!!!

James M.

Yelp
Super fun and long course I had a great experience! Kinda expensive for one race but gotta pay the bills somehow I get it. Will go again Nascar out of F1

Jessica G.

Yelp
I paid for an arcade card, only to learn that they aren't giving any redemption for tickets. At no point did they mention any of this. I was excited when I won a jackpot, only to learn there's no tickets and no prize. They would not return my money. They tried to justify it by saying there was a crane game. It's not even about the money at this point. It just seemed very dishonest to me. I'd expect this from a sleazy used car salesman, not an entertainment center.

Mosiah M.

Yelp
Rude staff for no reason at all. Had a little incident and the staff handled it poorly

Jason H.

Yelp
Super fun! We came here for a company team building event and everyone had a great time. They let us bring our own pizza and they provided drinks and gave us an hour in the arcade too! I'd definitely come back!

Christeen M.

Yelp
Cool place and a ton of fun for special occasions or out of town guest. It's pretty pricey though, your membership fee only lasts on year and it took me over 40 minutes to get my group of 8 registered online to race together. They need to smooth out the system & get you much shorter registration codes to speed up and simplify that system

David T.

Yelp
A fun experience but the hidden fees pissed me off: after you go through the fairly lengthy sign up process and go to pay, you are THEN told there is an additional $9 fee that was never disclosed at the start for "membership". What a bunch of crap - just a pure money grab after you've done everything. Not impressed.

Jeff N.

Yelp
I've been to a few indoor tracks but this is the first time going to one with multiple levels. I like the low light modern feel. They are very organized, staff very nice and answered all the questions I inquired. Check it out, it can be packed so go reserve a heat with your friends/family.

Gavin R.

Yelp
Way over priced. It's $27/person and then they charge you $100 for a membership which they don't tell you about until you check out. Our race lasted about 12 mins. Not worth it! Plus you have to let people pass you. You can't keep them from passing.

Holly B.

Yelp
BEST DAY EVER! The grid will make you feel so alive!! I hadn't done anything fun in a while and the grid was definitely the way to break my boring streak. I felt such a rush! It's like no other go cart place I've ever done before. Ya, it's pricey but the races are long and well worth it. You go up and down hills, around right turns and hit high speeds. It's the best!!! Also the facilities are clean and stylish and they have other arcade games and stuff for an extra while you wait if you want. They have good discounts on Mondays

Takeya C.

Yelp
Wow, again I say, wow! What is K1 speed???? Nothing. What is The Grid? EVERYTHING! Talk about an adrenaline rush. This place is legit! I definitely do look forward to returning. The staff were friendly, the track is LIT (in more ways than one). I love, love, love it. Only one note. I was stuck behind another woman for a majority of my race that would not let me pass. Based on her driving, I could tell that she was nervous, and I didn't have it in me to force it (my own problem). I remember how scared I was the first time I ever raced, and I didn't want to cause her to spin out. Welllllll, let's just say my husband doesn't have that problem. He was as annoyed as I was, and she spun out. LOL I wish the staff on the track were a little more proactive and signaled to her to move to the right. Maybe they saw two women and thought we were comfortable like this? Again, my fault for caring whether the girl spun out or not. I learned my lesson and was much more aggressive in my next race to make sure I didn't get stuck behind another Nervous Nell.

Ryan K.

Yelp
We had an absolute blast at the grid. We decided to go last minute as a group from work and it was so much fun. Fast go karts, clean, and the staff was friendly. We went on a Saturday night and still were able to get a time quite easily. Very easy to get into their system. I also loved how they emailed your heat results immediately. I haven't been to a lot of go kart places, but this place was certainly dope. Easily location off the freeway. Go support this locally owned place!!

Kyler D.

Yelp
So. Much. Fun. Been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally made it, my only disappointment is that I haven't been sooner! The karts are very quick and the track is amazing. It has ascents, descents hair pin turns and so much more. The staff is friendly and helpful too. Over all just a great place! I will for sure be back!

Paige D.

Yelp
The online experience was a bit confusing. One race made me think we'd be on the track for 2-3 minutes. The front desk was not helpful. They told us to wait in the waiting room and someone would come get us. We barely made our race because no one came to get us. As a first time customer there was no welcome, or do you have any questions, or this is how this will work. We just awkwardly sat and guessed. The race was fun! I would return for the activities and I look forward to future items they will put in this business. I would recommend a "how to" on customer service. Also the yearly membership fee is a little silly to me. Overall I'm happy we went, it was a new experience and a fun date night.

Craig L.

Yelp
We had a company team building event at The Grid and it was great. Super fun and very well hosted by the staff.

Sione H.

Yelp
They force everyone to purchase a yearly membership. Accidentally bought an extra ticket. They don't do Refunds. It's pretty Scammy. If I knew they were gonna nickel and dime me I would've gone somewhere else.

J E.

Yelp
I've now been to the Grid 3 separate times, all with different groups of people with varying interests and each time we've had a blast. There are two indoor tracks, each with a good mixture of technicality and speed making for an unbelievably good time when they combine the two tracks on Tuesday's and Thursday's. The staff is helpful and considerate, doing a good job of making sure that slower racers give way to faster racers so they can be ensured faster times and stay on pace for their record attempts. Safety is important to them, as they state in their pre-race briefing but in my case in attempting a pass I loss track of my line and where the kart was heading and impacted a wall pretty hard. Not only did one of the techs check on me immediately during the race, allowing me to continue the same all out push, but he also approached directly afterwards to make sure I was all good. Super kind of him. All in all, if you're looking for a good time in a kart, this is the best option in Utah Valley by far. Highly recommend.

Megan H.

Yelp
Went to this place specifically for the go carts and it was a ton of fun! We used the arcade while waiting and it made for a great date night!

Daisy P.

Yelp
Great bougie lobby and cool large arcade and overall concept, great for big groups and work parties but staff is disorganized and made us wait an hour as a penalty for coming on time before our reservation (20 min before reservation as advised) in order to lump us in with a larger group behind us. Told the staff who responded we were set for 15 min after our reserved time, then told the front desk, who told the staff that was incorrect but it was too late already. I expect Nordstrom treatment when the lounge looks like Nordstrom. Acknowledge you messed up and apologize or offer to comp us and make it okay. Very annoyed. Not cool. Track is amazing, facilities are clean (bathroom includes) and ambiance is like you watched into an episode of Queen's Gambit. Though side note: they really should change the 1930s music to some pumping jams but that's a personal preference. Overall feedback: Retrain your staff again for mess ups and hopefully the morale and customer service reflect the beauty of the premises.

Joann O.

Yelp
This was the funnest thing I've ever done! Me and my boyfriend had the best time! It was kind of expensive for a short amount of time but the experience was SOOO worth it! The place feels soo nice and expensive. We WILL be coming back!

David F.

Yelp
great front end staff. shout out to Sydne and Antoinette.

Ryan G.

Yelp
I went to the grid tonight with four other guys (two of them Nascar drivers) and paid for all of their rides. I paid for 2 rides for each person and it end up costing around $300. We had an awesome time and even mentioned having our company Christmas party there with our 70 employees. We decided to do another ride and go for a 3rd time. If you buy a pass of three rides it is cheaper and I simply asked for a discount. The Manager (little blonde girl) said absolutely no that she was not able to give me a discount. I said to her that we just got finish with our second ride and this was just like going three times. She said there was no way for her to do it...which I responded and said "this will be the last time I come here". She had already processed my credit card for the third ride and said you are being rude and That she was not going to allow me to ride anymore. She then gave me back my money IN CASH (not that I had a problem with it) but if she could give me back cash then why couldn't she have just given me a discount? I told her that she should not be the one to deal with customers and that she doesn't know how to take care of people. It's sad when you are willing to spend money and simply ask to pay the same amount as if we were doing 3 rides and deal with a girl that can't do anything. I would not recommend this place as apparently it is all about money to them! I mean it would have been the same thing as if I paid for 3 races for everyone in the first place! That girl should be fired for sure. If someone came into my place of business and spent $300...believe you me I would have given them the discount... The same amount as they would've paid anyway.

Shelby W.

Yelp
This was so fun! We had a group of 6 driving the super track! We booked our time online, it was super fast and easy. Once we got there we checked in, got to go back and get helmets, and then waited a few minutes to get into the go-carts. As a short person it was nice bc the seats are adjustable and the petal are too. Overall, super fun, super fast, we will remember this date night for a long time.

Bailee S.

Yelp
Fun place! Although if you get stuck with another group on the track you better pray they aren't horrible drivers or a-holes, because staff will do nothing about it.... Even if you get pit maneuvered

Danielle H.

Yelp
This place is awesome!! We were visiting some friends and they took us here. Jedson was a huge help in explaining the track and expectations. It was such a good time and two stories. When we visit SLC again we will sure to be back. Highly recommend for parties and/or just a fun night. Customer service was amazing and everyone was so friendly.

Mark B.

Yelp
Went here with my wife for a date night. When you walk in the front doors the place is impressive. Fill out waivers on some large touchscreens and then you get the option to do the red track (faster and 2 levels) or the blue track (more turns, technical, 3 levels) when you pay. Was about $25 for a race plus $7 for a membership fee. We did the red track and it was intense and FUN! We plan on going back with other couples and want to try out the blue track. They also have arcade games you can play while waiting.

Erin L.

Yelp
It's awesome to see places like this pop up in Utah County, especially when the next go kart place is in Sandy. The main lobby is really nice and open with plenty of lounge areas to chill out while you wait. There's a couple arcade games in the lobby, the Pac-Man was missing the joystick. All the games in the lobby and in the arcade room are freeplay. That's really cool they offer that while you wait for your turn. I would highly recommend you go in early and pay for your group because it's been and hour to hour and a half wait for each group that comes in. Right now they do have candy you can buy, but I imagine they'll be expanding soon since this place is new. They are electric cars. If you have kids under 16, check the website to make sure you are not going on a stealth night because they only allow under 16. Go on the website to fill out the form and register before you go. This is helpful when you have a large group. It's a little pricey, but worth is cause they go up to 40 mph.

Jacob H.

Yelp
Awesome! Everyone should try it. Big track and leGit!! The go carts are electric and have a boost button you can press to pass other drivers. Go up and down 3 levels. I feel like you catch air going on the down hill

Ali W.

Yelp
Went to the ER, got a concussion/whiplash from turning one of their corners and hitting a barrier. Not a crazy driver either. I wish they wouldn't make the track in the dark, it's hard to see when some of the turns are coming up and it makes it pretty dangerous. Just worried for other drivers out there. My best friend crashed in the same exact spot as me and has a hurt neck as well so be careful my friends! I'm racking up medical bills right now.

Baylie C.

Yelp
We came here when it was first opened and we had nothing but good things to say about it. There was a super long wait to do the go carts, but while you were waiting you were able to play in the arcade for free. SAD NEWS! Now there are no free arcade games and you just have to wait.. The go carts are already expensive in itself.

David B.

Yelp
Pros: racing is really fun as the carts are very quick and fun to handle. The atmosphere is cool with lots of areas to lounge while you wait. Staff is friendly and courteous. Cons: price is high for a 12 minute ride. The first time you go it will cost $60ish for 2 people for 12 minutes. They don't enforce the rules so you can spend the entire 12 minutes stuck behind a slowpoke which makes the $60 fee hurt even more.

Christopher L.

Yelp
Had a blast and the guy helping me at the track was amazing!!!! Can't wait to come back when I'm in Utah

Nate E.

Yelp
Literally the worst customer service ever. I called them around 20 times and on the 21st time they answered and it seems like it's just run by a bunch of high school girls. Super inconsiderate workers and difficult to work with.

Mike E.

Yelp
Customer service is horrible. Tried making reservations for a private group event here. They don't answer phones so you have to leave a message. IF they return your message they say they'll get back to you and never do. Sent numerous e-mails, same thing. They must be doing really well bc obviously they don't want the business.

Craig M.

Yelp
I would like to ask them some questions before driving down there from Salt Lake. I have been calling for a week and nobody has ever answered the phone. Their website says that they answer their phone during business hours, this has not been my experience.

Meghan S.

Yelp
Amazing idea and potential but absolutely horrible customer service. I went in tonight to ask about reservations because I can't get anyone to answer the phone when I call. I have called numerous times over the past two days with no answer. When I went in there were Thre girls gabbing and no other person around- I asked if they ever answer their phones and one of the girls responding with "not when we are busy" they literally had no other person in line or on the phone. Will never go back because of their attitude and lack of professionalism.
