The 24 Most Fun Dinner Spots In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Brazilian steakhouse in Belltown can be hit or miss in quality, but it’s still a good time. There's (usually) Bossa nova music playing and (always) a nice view of Elliott Bay to admire when you're not distracted by servers dashing around with giant slabs of beef. The restaurant offers a rodízio service—an all-you-can-eat parade where meats are carved tableside with flair. Red light-green light cards on each table come in handy, because if you don’t pause, you’ll wake up at night in a cold sweat screaming, “For the love of god, no more tenderloin." Pace yourself, stick to the sausages, lamb, and ribeye dripping in juice, and you’ll be fine." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente

The Grill From Ipanema is fun, but the meats are inconsistent - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Brazilian steakhouse in Belltown can be hit or miss in quality, but it’s still a good time. There's (usually) Bossa nova music playing and (always) a nice view of Elliott Bay to admire when you're not distracted by servers dashing around with giant slabs of meat. The restaurant serves a rodízio service—an all-you-can-eat parade where those slabs are carved tableside with flair. Red light-green light cards on each table come in handy, because if you don’t pause, you’ll wake up at night in a cold sweat screaming, “for the love of god, no more tenderloin.” Pace yourself, stick to the sausages, lamb, and ribeye dripping in juices, and you’ll be just fine. (Other cuts, like flank steak, are bland and trend greasy.) Also, make sure the warm slices of pineapple coated in cinnamon hit your table for a refreshing respite before flipping that card over to green again. Food Rundown Brazilian Cheesebread & Fried Bananas The light, toasty mozzarella balls and flat sticks of even toastier fried fruit make for a great appetizer combo. Salad Bar Despite some decent scoops, like a summery mango mix, this is only a hair above a cruise buffet. Stick to the meats and cheeses. Rodizio Some of the carved meats far outshine others. There are excellent slices of lamb and ribeye—and stringy shrimp and underseasoned flank steak. If all else fails, douse the meat in chimichurri from the salad bar. The food was average, there were pieces of meat that were clearly not fresh and resembled a shoe sole. The atmosphere is pleasant at first glance, but as soon as you focus your attention - it is dirty and dusty everywhere. Everything is old. The place clearly needs a general cleaning. Service is also not the strong point of this establishment. They did not take away dirty dishes, although they clearly saw it. Snacks with which it is customary to greet guests also had to be asked separately. For such service you should be ashamed to include a 20% tip in the bill. I do not recommend this place.

My husband and I came here last night for our 11th wedding anniversary dinner. We've been here several times before so we knew we were in for a great experience, and we weren't disappointed. There were plenty of excellent choices from the salad bar, and I partook in a little bit of almost everything. The dish with black beans and meats (I forget the name) was also very good, and somehow they cook their jasmine rice to mouthwatering perfection. The cuts of meat came out quickly and regularly, so we were never left hanging. Lamb, salmon, shrimp, and several cuts and styles of beef, pork, and chicken were all in the rotation, so there was plenty of delicious variety. The fried bananas and cheese bread made for a nice divergence, and of course the pineapple is always a favorite. Our server, Patrick, was kind and attentive. He even asked if we were here for a special occasion, then took our photo and offered a dessert when he found out it's our anniversary. We chose the cheesecake with raspberry and mango drizzle, and it was so good that we finished every last bite despite already being stuffed from dinner 🤤. We've been here before and we'll certainly be here again!

I like the food and atmosphere is not to bad. Respect should be mutual though. A manager there has to relax on his attitude. I was fighting somebody there most step of the service process being in there all I was doing was aking about the food and pricing there. He also was rushing us to make our orders and it ended up not looking professional at some point. I had someone there so I was trying to stick it out and enjoy the night. Please be more courteous to your customers if all they are doing is asking about pricing and service.

Our family came from out of town and heard about this Brazilian ayce steak house. Yes, news travels all the way up north to Vancouver bc folks. We came for dinner. Yes I can understand the premium price. You are getting 17 different cuts of meats and seafood is included like the salmon and prawns. If your a foodie and love variety this is a great place. I certainly enjoyed it with each bite smiling away. If you just want the salad bar you can opt for that and the price will be cheaper. The bar is nice too. From stews, rices, many types of salads, cheeses, and meats, it’s hard to disappoint patrons. My family and I definitely loved our first experience here. My favourites were all the meats and seafood. The grilled pineapple also hits different. Smokey and savory. 4 adults and a 3 year old child. Came out to $66 each plus $10 for the child before tax and 20 percent gratuity. The service we had is incredible. The staff was very attentive. We were served by a young gentleman and a pretty slim lady with dark hair. I would definitely return here again. I don’t care if I have to drive from Canada.

Went for my birthday and the whole experience was worth it. The crew all took care of me and made sure I had a good time . Food was a 10/10 couldn’t complain if I wanted to .

Google
Omg, what can I say, but absolutely amazing. Renee was the best server I've had in a very long time. AND the cinnamon dusted pineapple.... absolutely delicious (and this coming from someone who doesn't like the texture of pineapple) I ate alot of pineapple. Everything was just fantastic. Highly recommend! Will definitely be returning. I ate my weight (and I'm "robust") in meat. Good lord left uncomfortable but happy. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

TLDR: Meats taste amazing. This location feels understaffed which Lead to a close to unpleasant experience. However the manager made it up to us and accommodated for our troubles. Nice view Upon arriving with my party of 5 some of us came late. But we did. It have someone check up on us for close to 20 minutes after initially sitting down. After flagging someone down and getting that sorted out we started getting our food. Understandably so. This place felt understaffed since they had the same 2 individuals bringing by meat sometimes every 5 minutes and sometimes every 20 minutes. During the long period of not having someone check in on us we felt we were missing out on a lot of the other meats that they had to offer. One of the staff members seemed to also be new and there was a little bit of a language barrier which is okay. But compared to other steak houses where they give you many options on how we can choose to cut the meat or how much. It seemed like we were limited to only the cut size and quantity that the new individual seemed a little confused. None the less the meats tasted amazing. So far one of my favorite tasking steakhouses. Fortunately an individual with longer hair tied up and white top. Seemed like a manager came up to us and apologized for us not having as much attention and gifted us a free slice of cheesecake. Very thoughtful and generous. After he noticed our table we immediately got more service and the rest of the night went much better. This restaurant is very nicely decorated and the ambiance felt cozy. The window seats have a pretty nice view as well. 4/5 stars because the food tasted great. Environment was clean and beautiful. Service was spotty but they did what they can to improve and I appreciate that.

This is the worst Brazilian rodízio ever been Husband is brazilian so I know what it’s a Brazilian stake house, Starting with the salad bar every single salad had onions on it except the lettuce the variety of the salad bar was so poor I think they had like 6 salads at most, and the extras cheese and some other things, lets go to the meat All of them were uncooked and burned from the outside they don’t know what a medium well looks like, the sausage (linguiça in Portuguese) it’s from India, that was the worse thing ever tasted like curry with some spice added horrible thing, that day there was a party of 25 people in a table and every time they bring the new meats they started there and for us there was no meat left we had to wait 10 minutes every time they brought a new meat because that table finished everything, I explained that to the server and thankfully he heard and started the cuts from smaller tables first, they said there was filet mignon and requested several times but I think we got scammed, lol ; the meat they said it was didn’t even get close to a filet mignon, to a rodízio as Brazilian you expect 10/10 because you go for the meat not for the chicken or saladad bar, but this restaurant was so bad in all aspects, they just have pão de queijo tiny little balls as extra, nothing else. I’m giving one star because of the pineapple good, the picanha, good, one only time they brought the beef ribs 1 uno, literally one time only, the service was medium and the place was to old and dusty Paid $210 for 2 people 20% is obligated to pay for gratuity and they want extra tip, hahahahha not for us, be careful with this don’t get scammed and over tipping Like my husband said this place is never going to be a close to a Brazilian restaurant, and never going to see us coming back. 07/24/2025

Yelp
If you have ever wondered "how can I go to dinner and try steak 8 different ways", here's your answer. If you asked me to pick a favorite I would have to go with the ribeye probably because I like a good deal of marbling. Don't sleep on the salad and side bar, you are going to need some starchy mashed potatoes to help counter balance all the proteins. If I had one pro tip it would be to make sure and get a cup of the chimichuri sauce, it is perfect on some of the leaner cuts of beef.

Yelp
If you are purchasing a Groupon read on before you sting at at the this place. First - yes you can purchase two Groupons per person -- but read in the fine print u can only use one for a table of two. So prepare full price of $69 you are doing buffet plus whatever u spend on the Groupon $25 and don't make mistake I did and buy two or ur money will be stuck in your Groupon account as Groupon bucks (unless u have two more friends ) cause u can only claim one 1 Groupon per party of two. Second prepare for terrible service (other than the lovely girl that comes by with the meets/etc) the waitress will be rude. She will sit you without saying anything and u will sit there confused not sure if are u supposed to start getting your food or what??? Waitress's wont visit your table much until u have to pay (and then u will be lucky to find out that your card was automatically charged 20% tip) which the service was for the most part 1star not what u was planning on tipping and wasn't planning on paying for the tip on my card so was upset to be charged an additional 20% on $140 dollar meal!! I did complain with the manager and he took it off my bill but overall left with a bad feeling over the situation. I will say that if it wasn't for the terrible service the food was delicious I really liked all of it. Would have liked to receive more shrimp but other than that yeah food wqs good: I won't return food was great but 1 star service for 70 a meal considering I do understand I got a discount for one of the meals was still around $80 excluding my Groupon for the two of us (no drinks just buffet). And I did complain to Groupon since this should be a disclaimer with the purchase. Update: my account still shows full 20% tip was charged ... I hope that 20% that I was told would be taken off is and it's just showing up slow from my end.

Yelp
Went here on a weeknight and did the meat + salad bar combo. I visited Brazil last year and ever since then, I've had a big craving for churrasco! The Grill From Ipanema was pretty standard for a churrascaria -- meat and other dishes coming to your table that you can select, plus a salad bar. The meat itself was mid-tier. It was decent, but nothing mind-blowing. The standout dish that I was not expecting was the cinnamon pineapple. I've never had that before, but I loved it! Service was good as well, as our waitress was helpful and funny. However, the vibe of the restaurant wasn't it for me. Maybe it's because we went on a weeknight, but it was really empty and it felt a little awkward because of it. Plus, sometimes the music would cut out, and that added to the pressing silence. I'd be willing to try this place again, though, but I'd probably only go on a Friday or Saturday, or one of their live music nights.

Yelp
Sis, Mom, and I celebrated our birthday here. I had a $70 Groupon for $25 so why not. The place has a beautiful dining room with lots of light from the large windows. We had planned to pace ourselves, so we went light on our first (and only) pass of the salad bar and then we turned our card over to bring on the meats. Lesson for me- never waste stomach space on chicken, even if it's wrapped in bacon, because it's all about the steak. They serve 14 different meats that come out served on a spit so we'd hoped to make it through all 14, but I think we stopped at 12. Try as we might, we just couldnt eat everything. The food is clean and fresh and very good. Not the best brazilian barbecue I ever had, but we were very happy that we got to mark another lap around the sun in such a pretty place.

Yelp
Highly recommend scheduling dinner reservation in advance. AYCE Brazilian Rodízio includes 16 different selections and salad bar at $66 pp ages 12 & older; $30 pp ages 6-11; $5 pp ages 5 & under. Ambience appears and feels more upscale. Depending on where you're sitting, it's possible to catch a beautiful view of the lake. Help yourself to salad bar line. Clam Chowder with Bacon tasted like a cheese soup which I disliked. Potato Salad with Bacon and Pasta Salad tasted fresh and complemented variety of protein. Face green circle up at edge of table when you're ready to eat or face up red circle up when you want to stop. I've tried in the following order: Tri Tip Rib Eye Garlic Steak Pork Sausage Filet Mignon Pepper Steak Tri Tip w/ Cheese Garlic Cheese Bread Beef Rib Lamb My faves were garlic steak and Tri tip with cheese because both were very tender and bursting with flavors. Garlic cheese bread tasted crispy on the edges, buttery and cheesy in the center. Water with ice is complimentary. Beverages and desserts cost extra. Staff were very helpful, friendly, customer service oriented, and efficient. Staff offered dessert; however, our party of five politely declined because we were full.

Yelp
Terrible service, average food, and a dark dining environment. Also, be cautious about the conditions of the Groupon coupon. Kit, who claimed to be the owner, was extremely disrespectful and insulted a customer over the phone. Check out their responses to lowest reviews, you'll understand this business doesn't respect customers. I purchased two coupons because the Groupon offer stated a minimum of two people. However, upon arrival, I was informed that only one coupon could be used for two people. We didn't complain and simply decided to save the second coupon for another visit. We ended up paying for both coupons ($30 each) and $130 for two people (including two drinks), averaging $95 per person. The meat options were limited, and the salad bar couldn't compare to other Brazilian BBQ restaurants in the region. The grilled pineapple was a highlight that other places didn't have. My Old Fashioned cocktail was served with grapefruit, which isn't a common ingredient and wasn't mentioned on the menu. I pointed out to the server that many people can't consume grapefruit, so it should be noted on the menu. It seemed that the employees didn't understand English well, so I didn't explain further. Paying was another frustrating experience. We were given the wrong checks multiple times. The servers were friendly but seemed unaware of how the Groupon coupons worked. They eventually took my Groupon order number from my email and said they'd figure it out. Later, I realized that the restaurant had redeemed both of my coupons when only one should have been used. I called to clarify and was transferred between three different people. The last person, Kit, who claimed to be the owner, didn't give me a chance to speak. He insisted that only one coupon could be used, which I already knew. When I pointed out that his employees seemed unfamiliar with the process during my visit, he accused me of insulting his staff, saying I called them "STUPID." I told him I never used that word, and I respect people and always leave tips. He dismissed my explanation and responded sarcastically until I asked for his name. At that point, he fell silent and then finally asked for my coupon number. I continued asking his name till he answered. If Kit is the owner, it's disappointing to see such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. It makes me question how he treats his employees if he's willing to INSULT CUSTOMERS and MAKE FALSE ACCUSATIONS and handle customers so poorly. Unfortunately, there isn't much I can do except report this to Groupon. I hope others read this and think twice before supporting such an unethical business.

Yelp
I'm currently writing this review in a state of food coma. I really really went in today telling myself I'd stop when I was comfortably full. But they just kept constantly bringing new cuts of meat I couldn't help to try. There were a few tougher cuts but they also continuously brought out some really good cuts too. It really was nonstop. I really liked the garlic covered one, the beef rib, the chicken drumstick was surprisingly good, the cheese steak, and obviously the picanha. But there have been so many different types I can't keep count. I'd pass on the bacon wrapped one and the shrimp - they weren't great, and there were a few others I didn't try. My friend loooooved the grilled pineapple and they were so nice about bringing over more and more and giving her a LOT every time lol. In general service was great and the restaurant has such a great view over puget sound too. Also, for a discount, there's a Groupon you can use to effectively get half off (limited number of people though)! I think the full price is a bit too pricey for this.

Yelp
Even tho on Valentine's Day , we were skipped by some skinny big back dude thinking he all that with his big ego and his girlfriend that looks like she gets beat up by him everyday and works at aurora almost had to beat his As* aka tag team with my boyfriend. The food was absolutely amazing ! I will definitely come here again not only for round 2 but for the delicious food :)

Yelp
This place is ok. I had a group of 4 with me. I believe it was like $70 per person and I paid for us for both the salad bar and meats. I recommend getting the Groupon for $35 off and you can get a Groupon for every 2 ppl. Otherwise, I don't think it's worth the full price. I'm a bargain foodie. Food was ok. They come around with different cuts and types of meats. They were friendly. I went on a Sunday. I wish they had more variety in the salad bar. There's some 2-4 soups you can choose from as well. It's all you can eat. I go like once a year.

Yelp
Wow! Great value! And they even played Girl from Ipanema. We've been wanting to try this place, so we stepped in on a Friday night right as they opened. I believe we were maybe the second people there. We Trent really interested in the salad bar although we would go back to try it sometime. They sat us at the bar. We grabbed the 4 pc rodizio, which is a big ol platter of meat for $15. Like WTF you can barely get a burger in Seattle for $15! My favorite was definitely the beef. There was an optional option to go through the salad bar for an additional $5 but I was too stuffed. Along with our plates we got a few caipirinhas ($7)!! Boozy, fruity, you can't go wrong. I imagine this spot would be really fun on a bustling night. Would definitely go again for the good deals and to explore more meats :)
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
I used to love going to Ipanema but I went last night and everything disappointed me. All of the steak cuts I received were either too fatty or almost completely raw. And our drinks didn't even come out until we were 3/4 done with our meal. The salad bar options didn't look as fresh as it used to. The Caesar salad was drenched in too much dressing and then sat there. This is not worth $66 a person at all.

Yelp
We had a big reunion here. The place is fun, decorated meticulously, with great service. The staff was polite, attentive, constantly checked on us for drinks. If you don't already know, this is a Brazilian steak house. An endless stream of delicious cut of meat just came our way all night until everyone was completely satisfied. One of our guest was a native of Brazil and he gave this place a very high mark.

Yelp
I wanted to try something different and found a place that was better than Fogo de Chao, in my opinion. This cute little place on 1st Avenue gives you the feel of a Brazilian steakhouse was lovely decor. The name itself is a play on words, but the food and service did not disappoint. Our server was super friendly and explained the process, even though we were quite familiar. I tried the Caipirango, which was the strawberry version of a Caipirinha. The drink was flavorful and very lovely. If you've ever been to Brazilian steakhouse, you know they have a salad bar with people bringing you endless different varieties of meat until you turn your card over. That didn't stop them at this place, and we didn't complain. We liked how the salad bar gave you plenty of options. They had different varieties of salads, pastas, meats, and cheese. What put this place above Fogo was the offering of pineapple and shrimp... in addition to the normal cuts of ribeye and filet mignon. The only meat we did not like was the house special. Overall, the experience left us full and satisfied. Will definitely go back when we return to Seattle.

Yelp
Fresh salad bar - yummy meats! So many meats!!! Drinks and service excellent! Will be back for sure

Yelp
Service was attentive and the food was delicious. I don't understand some of the reviews that said the food was raw...you tell them how you like the meat cooked. If it's too raw tell them you want a medium well or cooked more. You may get a piece of meat with some fat....that's ok...it's all you can eat. I like the ambience. Job well done guys

Yelp
We had a wonderful time! We went here for my son's graduation & being a meatlover and regular of Brazilian restaurant.. one thing stood out- their cheese bread! I can't recall how many tines we ordered for more. Their meat is well seasoned, too bad not too many selections. Service is exceptional & ambiance is good.

Yelp
So we went here for Christmas Eve dinner. Nothing special at the location. They do have live music which was fun to listen to. Meat was good. Gauchos were great and host was good too. Only weird thing is 20% gratuity is mandatory with a weird disclaimer at the bottom stating that they belong to the business but that they share with staff which was odd. Idk never seen it but it was good meat and good salad bar. They have a very different cheese bread. Banana were solid and nicely coated. Pine apple was superb. Picanha and Garlic steak were top. So was the lamb. Very good meats.
google avatar

Yelp
I think, in heaven, there will be angels walking by every few minutes with a succulent skewer of steak or parmesan pork or bacon-wrapped filet or lamb every few minutes, and you just lazily reach up and grab and incredibly delicious slice to feast on. And when you're feeling a little less carnivorous, there will be an ample buffet of delicious Mediterranean dishes. You can get a foretaste of this heaven at the Grill from Ipanema. I'm not sure there will be a guy playing pretty solid renditions of 90's tunes on his guitar in heaven, but you can have that too at Ipanema.
google avatar

Lea M.

Yelp
We went about an hour from close. The cuts came out quickly and the server was great, but some of the meat was a little more well done than I would have preferred and their cheese bread had a filling I wasn't expecting. I'm sure some folks would have loved it, but it wasn't my preferred rodizio experience.

Cene T.

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal. The staff was exceptional!!! we had an amazing experience. The ribeye was my favorite. The pineapple was delicious and I must try.
google avatar

R And L T.

Yelp
We went to a fairly early dinner and got seated right away. I'd say 6-8 couples eating at the same time. My wife only eats the salad bar and it was lacking. If you want to create a general type salad forget it. It was a single line salad bar. I actually took nothing. The meat was alright but not over the top. The cheese infused beef and bacon wrapped beef was really great. We were in the middle table and seemed to get the last choice. The choice where the cooked part is gone. Our server was great and attentive. Now the added gratuity of 20% even when deserved irks me. Tip in my opinion needs earned and we generally tip 20% or better. We reward great service and appreciate it. But let me decide!!! I'll be skipping this Brazil grill in the future. $135.00 for two of us and one meal was salad bar only with waters.

Yelp
This is going to sound so weird, but I would go here for everything but the meat, when I return. Recommendations: Brazilian cheese bread balls Orzo salad Good wine selection/drink menu From gaucho service: Garlic steak- the most delicious meat here. Brazilian pork sausage-close second Cinnamon pineapple - could sub for dessert omg Grilled drumstick - a little sweet and smoky Grilled Salmon - perfectly cooked Sirloin wrapped in bacon It's an absolutely beautiful atmosphere, and our server was cool, but with regards to the meat it's 2 big issues: 1) we kept getting served overcooked meat. Maybe 3 times they got it right and it was great. Most of my meat was well done. My favorite dish is Picanha, and it was so well done it barely had flavor. The sirloin wrapped in bacon was good but again, steak well done. 2) uninterested gauchos. 2 seemed nice, but there was one in particular, a bald gaucho, who really stood out. He skipped us more than once, then went all the way around the room then stood with his back to us. We tried to get his attention he turns and goes "I see you. We return to the kitchen to cook the meat and come back out.") I understand sometimes spaces are understaffed and as for chefs there's good nights and less good. Overall I enjoyed it, and perhaps our experience is unique. I still wanted to include a balanced review so you could be aware of the possibility

Jason C.

Yelp
I generally try to support single location non-chain restaurants like this and virtually never give bad reviews. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this one at all. I give credit to the meat selection and taste. The steak staples such as ribeye and picanha were seasoned lightly, not too salty but still tasty. This includes non-beef choices such as garlic shrimp and grilled pineapple, as well as garlic bread that I assume was fresh baked. The gauchos generally were prompt as was the kitchen. Salad bar had hot soup (clam chowder in this case) and typical fare compared to similar churrascarias, but no smoked salmon. Their corn bread comes as balls the size of a large marble but otherwise tasted within expectations. Note they do not have polenta or grilled onions/jalapeños like other places do. At a per adult price of $66, on the high end of competitors, expectations are high. Physical ambiance was satisfactory but the music is loud. Parking is by paid lot or street, there is no dedicated lot. The service was terrible, probably in the top 5 worst experiences in my decades of eating. They were understaffed and we rarely saw our waitress, who apparently was the only one for the entire restaurant. We had to flag down the water refiller for requests, but he declined to help and kept referring me back to the waitress. When she did arrive at our table she was brusque and obviously not in good spirits. Despite this, I still tipped 20%. They add this mandatory gratuity to all checks regardless of party size and despite your actual service experience. When I asked for a manager, I was told he was not available. Don't bother with this place.

Yelp
Food was great! Server was the only one for the whole restaurant but he was working so hard! We sat by the window and the view was beautiful. Very nice atmosphere!

I never write reviews but the experience sucked so bad I feel inclined. It was our first time in and the systems of the buffet and Rodizio were a bit confusing. Our server rushed through her script and became visibly annoyed and rude when I asked clarifying questions on how it worked. Her response: "yeah, I just said that...". From there, they serve freezer food quality appetizers which are complimentary and a mild range of salad bar choice options. The actual Rodizio was okay. Some good meat cuts and liked the variety. However, the quality was inconsistent. $200 for overcooked and salty meat with a side of rude service and over the top music. Shameful...

Yelp
They snuck in a mandatory 20% gratuity. It's not listed on ther website and not posted anywhere. I disputed it and they said they will call me. I called several times and they hung up on me.

Yelp
This place is okay. Wanted to like it more, but there are some issues. We ended up here because the four other rodízio style restaurants (3 Brazilian and 1 Argentinean) in the region were busy, and we made a fairly late decision to go rodízio. So, they could accommodate us, and that was good. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside. It's a nice and comfortable space that is clean. The meat here is top-notch. It's as good as and in many cases better than the other four places. And that is why this review is three stars. Superb meat. So, why not five stars? First, the salad bar selection is small compared to the other spots. This is driven by the layout to some degree, but this restaurant had the same issue years ago when it was in its smaller space down near Pike Place. It could have designed to fix this issue when it moved, but it chose not to. So, this limited selections on the buffet line is intentional. Sad. Second, the service. The meat servers were all superb. Our waiter, not so much. Distracted. Bothered. Inaccurate. And did I mention bothered? Yeah. Not cool. Kind of ruined the whole evening. And the owner? Meh. My Brazilian daughter-in-law began speaking with him in Portuguese, and he cut her off and told her to speak English (he obviously spoke Portuguese, though his English accent suggested Russian heritage). Most of the meat and wait staff are Brazilians, so we spoke Portuguese and English to several of them, and they were all cherry and happy with it. The owner seemed very formal, stiff, and a bit grumpy. Overall, despite the EXCELLENT meats, we will probably wait and go to one of the other four restaurants next time the rodízio bug bites.

Yelp
This place was awesome ! Very similar to Fogo de chao. We got here closer to closing not realizing that but they still were able to get us lots of meat before closing. The salad bar was slim since it was closing time but still delicious

Yelp
Upscale but cozy with excellent friendly servers! Meats come by quickly and the options rotate frequently, but beef cuts are a little on the small side. Salad bar is tasty but the options are limited. Every meat here is very well seasoned, and each cut tasted different yielding a new experience. However, the tenderness of each meat varied greatly, some cuts were juicy and tender but others were very tough and dry. My favorite meats here were the beef rib near the bone, the pork ribs, the lamb, the sausage, and the cheese steak. Both beef and pork ribs were especially tender and juicy, and they were, in my opinion, the best things here. My least favorite cuts were the turkey, the pepper steak, the outside of the beef rib, and the picanha. They were all very well seasoned but very tough (maybe I just got a bad cut). However, the meats come out quickly and I recommend that you try everything! Everything at the salad bar was delicious and the cold salads were light and refreshing. The feijoada was very meaty and had an amazing flavor but was a bit too soupy for me and there was no farofa. I really enjoyed the plantains but you have to ask for more because they're not at the salad bar. If you're getting dessert, the flan here is nice. Very silky, smooth, and not gelatinous. It has a deep toasty caramel flavor which was great but almost too sweet. I also enjoyed the caipirinha. It was sweet and you couldn't really taste the alcohol, so if you're like me and hate the taste of alcohol, I highly recommend it.

Yelp
It's been several years since I've visit this place but food is still pretty good. Took my brother here for his birthday last weekend and we had a good time. Salad bar had a great selection of things plus sides of rice and soup. The day we went they were also offering SRW for $50 but you get like 7 or 14 types of meat vs the 17? I kind of didnt' catch the exact number but that's a pretty great deal for the amount of food you're getting but we just did the rodízio. I really enjoyed the different cuts of meat. There were some that was a bit dry and overly salty but I guess that's why you should have it with a bit of rice or mash. I would not recommend the frijole soup though, it was soo salty the day we were there. I took 2 bites and could not finish the bowl. I'm hoping it was an off day for soup haha. I had a good time overall and I think my sibling and cousins did too. Service was really good, our server was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Yelp
Definitely the most expensive Rodizio I've ever had. Food was good as expected if you've been to a Brazilian steak house before. Drinks good Salad bar was fine A solid option if you're looking for a walk from the ferry, but there are equally good options for less if you're willing to drive

Yelp
How have I not been here before? I'm a fan of the all-you-can-eat experience of Brazilian steak house restaurants. But this place takes it to another level with how well they season their meats. You have a coaster that you either leave on the green side to let the Gauchos know to keep coming by with their offering. The red side tells them you are done or need a break. The hot and searing meats came by at a decent pace and they shaved off small and tasty sized portions of meat to try. I appreciated that for many of the meats that I wasn't sure whether I'd enjoy or not. My favorite cut of meat was the garlic steak. Every bite had an amazing amount of garlic flavor accompanied by the wonderfully tender prime grade of beef. The cheese steak was injected with some type of delicious cheese that made the beef slice even more juicy. They also offered salmon, lamb, chorizo sausage, picania (sp?), ribeye, chicken, and many things wrapped in bacon. The staff was so friendly and nice. When my favorite garlic steak came by, I asked for extra slices and they so kindly accommodated me with that. One server even came back a second time, since she knew our entire table loved that specific cut of meat. I don't think I've been that full in a very long time. I literally had the "meat sweats" when I was finished. I'm so going to be back here again in the future. Thank you Grill from Ipanema!!

Yelp
Delicious food. Great place to gather with friends and family. You're gonna want to bring a big appetite the portions are generous. Service is great and very attentive. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Absolutely don't recommend after getting food poisoning. We avoided the buffet area for obvious reasons but still got sick. First red flag was seeing the waiter pour water from a used decanter on a table of a party who just left to an empty tables decanter. Meat was really fatty or had a strange frozen taste. Very disappointing for paying $173.

Yelp
Was probably my 4th time here, but it's been a while. Was part of a party of 4. Restaurant had maybe 15-20 guests. Prevuous visits were pretty good, but seems it's been declining. Today was rock bottom and all I can do is laugh. Never been to a Brazilian steak house leaving still hungry for steak? There were 2 guys serving the entire restaurant. They seemed pretty new to the carving meat thing. They were literally slicing off a 2 inch paper thin slice and would ask if I wanted more. Yes, please. Then another shaky 2 inch shaving. Rinse and repeat. By the end of our patience, we probably had 4 ounces of steak in total. Had to fill up on the salad bar since we were so hungry salad bar choices have also been cut down noticeably. 20% automatic gratuity and pos machine asked if I wanted to give more tip. Total damage for 4 people, $350 for a few plates of salad, 4 ounce steaks of dried meat, and probably 4 glasses of water from the over saltiness. This place is on its last legs. Stay away and let it die in peice.

Yelp
We had a reservation tonight, Valentine's Day at 6:45. When we arrived there was a line of people who also had reservations. They overbooked and were not prepared for this evening. We ended up waiting in line but decided to leave after standing for over 30 minutes. What an awful experience on a day that was supposed to be special for my girlfriend and I. Shame on you!!!

Yelp
The Grill from Ipanema was not the best. It's unfortunate because the service is really nice, and they try their best with everything. The meat selection unfortunately tastes burnt and overtly smoky or like gas. In addition, with the food rotation, people who get seating at tables further away might not get to try as many meats. I liked their mashed potatoes and beets, but that was probably it from the salad bar. The salad bar mostly has some salami, a soup, rice, some premade salads, and cold vegetables.

Yelp
Took 30 minutes to get seated and I had a reservation. Even after being seated the server took 10 minutes to eventually come to the table. Had to ask 3 different staff members to order a drink and took 30 minutes for each round. This place beats the Applebees in south center for worst place to get a steak in Seattle.Restaurants that are objectively this terrible are a rare breed.

Yelp
Anytime I'm in Seattle this is my first choice for steak and a night out with friends and family. Definitely worth the money.

Yelp
They can bring back the grilled/seared lines on pineapple without smothering cinnamon on them. Bring the real madoro/plantan with out a cinnamon covered banana. Do offer well done meat (not all of us like medium rare meat.) more importantly at the end of the meal don't double dip when it comes to a tip. Don't do it. Sad to say we will not be going into to dine here again. It used to be our favorite place. But after today not anymore. Was it under new management? Didn't see the regular waiter's there either just the one woman was still there.

Emily M.

Yelp
Not worth the price in my opinion. Also, a 20% automatic gratuity is added to all parties. The quality of the meat doesn't match the price you pay. Personal preference but most meat that came out was more on the rare side.

Yelp
The food AMAZING! Never had or been to a Brazilian steakhouse before but this food was IMPECCABLE! The salad bar was tons of fun to walk through and try different salads. The cuts of meat are just the perfect portions! The cocktails are amazing. ESPECIALLY if you ask to get a margarita by Alberto! Never had as tasty as a margarita before till I had one from him! As well Alberto is an awesome hosts and made part of the dine in experience tremendous. Alberto is the MAN!

Yelp
Service - Was slow and we were ignored often, I think because the server was the only one on shift and he had (in the end) 10 tables. Food - Excellent, delicious and filling. We love the salad bar and the meats! All you can eat buffet and meats? Who wouldn't!

Yelp
Food and service has gone downhill over the last few years. Every piece of meat we had last night was over cooked, even when we asked for more rare pieces. We both had stomach issues after eating here too. Some of the meats tasted good and the salad/cold bar was good, it wasn't all bad, but most of them were just far too tough or overcooked. Our service was very poor-- took forever to get any meat, cuts were all bad, and my partner did not get her wine for more than 20 minutes into the meal (the waiter had just forgotten it). They never asked if we were looking for any specific meats (they weren't even very busy), and it really felt like they only ever had the cheaper cuts readily available. They also auto-gratuity 20% here, even for parties of two, which I would not really mind, except they included the price of the drinks into what they took 20% of. That is not common practice anywhere, and just feels cheap and slimy. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The variety is not worth the lack of quality and the poor service. It used to be great, but like so many other places has inched its price up and quality down to the point of making it a bad experience.

Yelp
Amazing food. I miss the live music from before the pandemic. Incredible service from Alberto!

Yelp
This place automatically charges a 20% gratuity regardless of your party size! When I asked about it, they said it shows on their menu. I pulled up the online menu and it shows 18% gratuity added for parties of 6 or larger and showed it to the server. I asked to speak to the manager and was told to wait. The manager never came to us he was too busy fooling around with the computer or whatever it was he was doing on the register. We got tired of waiting we were thinking of just walking out and not paying this almost $300. Bill for a party of 3. But we're just not that kind of people.. paid the damn bill and just left. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Never eating here again that's a big ripoff and not to mention they don't serve all the kinds of meat shown on their website! Total BS!!

Yelp
The ambience was nice, but the meat was too salty on my behalf and the salad bar was missing some choices that I usually have at the other places I.e palm heart. Anyway the price was reasonable. I would come again.
