The 25 Best Albuquerque Restaurants

"For the better half of 20 years, the Grove Cafe has been committed to serving its guests first-rate breakfast favorites in Albuquerque’s East Downtown neighborhood. When it opened, there wasn’t anything quite like the Grove, which highlights sustainable and locally sourced dishes, like a croque madame or a breakfast burrito with Tully’s Italian sausage, goat cheese, and green chile. Today, those classics are joined by seasonal items on always interesting menus. Don’t forget to grab some cookies or pillowy English muffins from the market to tide yourself over until your next visit." - Justin De La Rosa

Wonderful all around! All the workers were very nice and helpful! love the warm, inviting atmosphere! We got to sit at the table that Walt sat at in breaking bad that was cool! The avocado toast was incredible! Had a nice kick of spice as well as sweetness from the pickled onions. the hot vanilla latte was perfectly sweet and strong. the burrito was devoured by my husband needless to say he loved it! In his words “one of the best burritos I’ve ever had”. No complaints! Definitely a 10/10 spot. We came around 11am and it was a full parking lot but they still had tables available and it was very quick getting through the line and getting our food

Google
We stopped by on a Sunday at about 1245. The restaurant was crowded but we got through the line to order our food in 7-8 minutes, had no problem finding a table for two and the food came in around 10 minutes. I had the breakfast burrito—a nice burrito, not too spicy and my wife had the sweet potato hash which she liked a lot. Somewhat expensive but a very enjoyable lunch.

Google
Food was great. Don't be scared off from a crowd, they do a great job getting people through fairly quickly and have more seating than you first think. Really enjoyed it, highly recommend.

Google
Still one of my favorites. I've been a grove customer since day one and I still love it. The food is great but very there early before the rush! And I love the coffee with a yummy pastry.

Jenna Davis

Google
The menu was diverse. I had poached eggs with bacon. The kale salad honestly was my favorite, it was so good!! The chai tea was special and tasted homemade. I also got a chocolate chip gluten free cookie, with pistachio glaze. I loved their gluten free selection and knowledge! I came to work and have some lunch, it was a perfect location!

Priscilla Garcia

Google
This place never misses and has become a regular spot for us. Food has me feeling good all day which means they must use high quality ingredients. The service is also amazing and please try their signature hot sauce!

Google
I love the atmosphere here. All the natural light and plants are so beautiful it was very clean and tidy inside.. I was so excited when I saw the menu. So many varieties from mimosas to whit coconut cupcakes. It was hard to pick one entree. The prices are a bit upscale but for the quality of food you receive is well worth it. The staff was smiling and very kind. The food came out rather quickly. I recommend this cafe for all to try at least once. You will return.

Google
Had a very nice lunch at the Grove Cafe and Market in SW Albuquerque. (I hope I spelled Albuquerque correctly.) There's indoor, outdoor, and hybrid seating. We chose the hybrid seating. You order at the counter, and they bring the food too your table. That worked well I had an excellent Three cheese grilled cheese sandwich. It could have been better if the cheddar cheese was port wine cheddar. There's free parking out front. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Servers are efficient and personable. The Grove Cafe and Market is open for breakfast and lunch. It closes at 4 PM. I recommend it

Yelp
Came by for a birthday brunch recently. This place was cute, aesthetic, trendy - perfect for a date, group brunch, or family outing. There's indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of it. Staff was quite friendly, partner asked about the calories in his pancakes and the whole staff went above and beyond to get him an estimate. Chai Latte (5/5) - Great chai flavor. Breakfast burrito (5/5) - Loved that the tortilla was thin. Loaded with ingredients, the in-house salsa was so good altogether. Grove Pancakes (5/5) - This was quite a sweet breakfast! I could definitely taste the raw maple syrup. Fruits were sweet.

Yelp
The Grove is popular for a reason. The food is good and Albuquerque just loves brunch. I've had a variety of the offerings and you really should try as much of the menu as you can. I did try something new on my most recent visit, it was the Chia pudding. I really liked it and it was very filling. I picked at it for days after basically because there were so much food. One of my favorite things there is their house made English muffins. They do such a great classic breakfast. If you come on popular times, you can expect a wait and sometimes a really solid wait. It's a good option for off hours though.

Yelp
I haven't been here in years (precovid). The food is as good as I remember it being. The service was quick. Cashier was friendly. Order at the counter then sit type of service. The place was packed, but we found a table quickly. The food was out fast as well. The spices honey glaze on the sandwich was spice and tasty. I'll be back soon and not wait years again

Yelp
The Grove is always a treat. Food and service were great! I had the Croque Madame. It was yummy.

Yelp
Super filling, amazing flavors, great atmosphere along with very kind staff all the way around! I've wanted to try this place for a long time and I'm so happy I finally got the chance to try The Grove!

Yelp
Such a trendy and fun eatery! I came in for brunch on a Sunday and it didn't get busy until 930 AM. I was a big fan of my omelette and the salsas that accompanied it. Everything felt fresh and wholesome. Would go back!
google avatar

Lorena G.

Yelp
You order and find a seat after. Service was great. The food and drinks were brought out pretty quickly. The food was amazing and the crepes are like nothing we've ever had before. Topped with a butter-yogurt mixture and fruit. Would stop here again. The atmosphere was cute it had a lot of open windows kinda like a greenhouse.

Yelp
The raving reviews of this place do not disappoint. I was only in town for a half day and this was a great spot to grab some brunch. I couldn't decide between the pancakes or the pesto and mozzarella sandwich....so I got both! You can add a side of a pancake for like $5 - worth it. The pancakes seemed closer to crepes to me, still as delicious. Came with a nice amount of fruit on top in addition to the crème and syrup. I didn't even use the syrup. The sandwich was tasty but small. So if you're looking for a more filling meal you may want to go the route of adding something else. It does come with a small kale salad which was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately I didn't try any of the cupcakes but they all looked great. The setup is a little different- more like cafeteria style. You go up front to order your food, they provide you with a number, and bring your food to your table. There's seating inside and additional seating outside - fully covered and partially covered spots. Parking lot is quite small and is a one way route so be careful and may be easier to park on the street

Yelp
Possibly my favorite brunch spot in ABQ! I've visited twice now and each time the food was great. I was a little timid visiting because I've been told it's always busy. There are tables inside and outside however, you are not allowed to save a table before you order. Surprisingly enough, by the time I got through the line and ordered, there were tables cleaned and available. The second visit, I sat outside with my dog. Recommend
google avatar

Sabrina F.

Yelp
I thought the food was very fresh and delicious. You have to go early, if not you will be waiting in a long line (for Sunday); however it is organized well to get people in and out. The atmosphere is also very rustic and cute. Perfect place for a girls brunch or date.

Yelp
If you're looking for a healthy meal to start your day in Albuquerque, look no further! I was in town for a conference and decided to stop by with my colleagues for brunch. I ordered the sweet potato hash bowl and iced vanilla latte. My meal was fresh and hearty. We loved it so much we ended up coming back two days later and ordering the same thing. It's in a prime location since it's walking distance to various hotels. You order at the counter before finding a seat either inside or on their outdoor patio. Although the lines can get pretty long, they move quickly. Once you finish your meal, you leave your plates at the table and the staff is quick to clear it for the next guest. I would definitely stop by again if I'm back in town!

Yelp
First visit--tried their special Passionfruit French Toast. The passion fruit reduction was great, wished it was a bit more tart to pair with the whipped cream. It ended up being a lot of the same flavor, sweet passionfruit reduction, with sweet whipped cream, with even sweeter maple syrup. I hardly used the syrup cause it was too much sweet. If the passionfruit reduction was tarter and there was more whipped cream on top would have perfected this dish. Also for an entree this was quite a small dish and wished I would have ordered a side to go with it. My friend ordered one of the breakfast sandwiches and I wish I would have ordered that! Will for sure order that next time.

Yelp
Stepping into the Grove Street Cafe in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is like being whisked away to a quaint European village cafe, where the charm of the old world meets the vibrant pulse of the city. With its impeccably clean bathrooms, the cafe makes a stellar first impression, ensuring that every aspect of your experience is nothing short of comfortable. The wait might stretch a little, given its popularity, but it's a small price to pay for the quality and ambiance that await. The outdoor seating option adds to its allure, offering a perfect spot to bask in the Albuquerque sun with a delicious breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere inside is equally delightful, with wooden ceilings that add a touch of rustic elegance, reminiscent of a cozy European hideaway. Grove Street Cafe's approach to service is modern and efficient. After ordering at the register and receiving a number, guests can choose their seat, letting anticipation build as they watch the open kitchen where chefs skillfully prepare meals. The menu, presented on a chalkboard, is easy to read and promises a variety of mouth-watering options. For those who love to start their meal with something sweet, the Jasmine Green tea macaron is a revelation--perfectly baked, its flavors are both delicate and pronounced. The Fancy Breakfast Sandwich is a masterpiece of breakfast cuisine: two over-easy eggs, melting Gruyere, crisp bacon, and peppery arugula with a dab of mayo and fancy hot sauce, all encased in a soft English muffin. Accompanied by a side of kale salad, it's a meal that balances indulgence with freshness. The golden milk latte, with its soothing and aromatic qualities, is the perfect beverage to complement such a feast. But Grove Street Cafe is more than just its food. It's an experience. With a selection of candies, hot sauces, jellies, and candles among other items, it invites guests to take a piece of their visit home. The music, a delightful mix of Spanish and French tunes, sets a backdrop that's both relaxing and invigorating, enhancing the cafe's unique European vibe. Whether you're a local or just passing through Albuquerque, the Grove Street Cafe offers a slice of European charm with its exceptional food, inviting atmosphere, and thoughtful touches. It's a place where every visit feels like a special occasion, and every meal is a reason to return.

Yelp
The Grove Cafe is such a nice spot to just relax, have some food, and get a nice latte. They have plenty of seating and a nice patio area if you want a bit of fresh air while your meal. I was also pleasantly surprised by their little kale side salads. I don't often like eating kale, but it was quite good.
google avatar

Farrah A.

Yelp
The Grove is a popular cafe in ABQ known for their brunch, pastries, mimosas and "breakfast all day" offerings. They actually ranked on Yelp Albuquerque's "Top places to drink" list in 2023. I dined there with a colleague, and it was the perfect spot for lunch and lattes. All the gourmet salads and sandwiches sounded great, like the "lemon herb turkey" made with roasted turkey, avocado, fresh herbs, sprouts, lemon, and herb mayo. I opted for the "tuna toastie" which comes with a side kale salad and housemade pickles. Paired with a sparkling water and a matcha latte, I was in good shape! Know that it's counter service and it's a very busy cafe, but the tables turn fast. I noticed a female manager helping out her staff by bussing tables, which diners like myself can appreciate!
google avatar

Yelp
Flawless. Yes flawless. The food was amazing, service friendly and the place was warm, fresh, and inviting. Could not have asked for more. Had the pancakes and sweet potato hash. Great latte.... Great everything. .

Yelp
I've been hearing so many great things about this place so I decided to give it a try. Maybe it's just me but I was a little bit confused on what to when you walk in. I stood in line for a few minutes behind some folks who said they were waiting for a table, what I didn't realize is that I had to order first and then get in that line for a table. Okay lost my place in line. I guess not a big deal. It was busy but I really wasn't in a hurry. Once I made it to order, I had to wait, I believe because all the tables were full, not sure but I waited. Then I ordered. Blueberry French toast and a blood orange mimosa. Maybe I just had too high of expectations. It was just average to me, not something I would rave about. I will however give it another try but next time for lunch. Salads looked great. Lots of seating, workers constantly bussing tables and delivering food. No small talk from bussers. The desserts look delightful but I didn't try that either. They did have a Bloody Mary which after I saw it being made I was kinda happy I didn't get it. It was small and cost 12 bucks. Hope it was good cause that's a little expensive. Place was clean, everyone was constantly doing something. I'll try it again. And then I'll give it another review.

Yelp
Amazing!! You would never know how good it is looking at it but we're so glad we stopped. We got a breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, a side pancake and a side of sourdough. The fresh squeezed orange juice was yummy too! Perfect way to start the day!
google avatar

Yelp
Everything was delicious. Although crowded the line moved nicely. Great customer service:)

Yelp
This was a solid breakfast stop. For those familiar with the chain First Watch, this has a similar feel and menu. It does have much better coffee selections and great homemade style strawberry jam. Service is at the counter. My poached eggs were cooked great, the kale salad and sourdough bread were delicious. My husband had the fromage omelet and frankly he thought it wasn't the best. The omelet leaked oil from the cheese. Would we visit again? Yes we would.
google avatar

Lindsay B.

Yelp
I love this restaurant. The ambience is nice and inviting with an upscale feel. The food is delicious however a tiny bit pricey, but worth it. I would like to go back soon.

Ryan H.

Yelp
Great coffee. The menu featured at this restaurant is definitely not for picky eaters. The atmosphere would be fun if it weren't overrun by people waiting to order- usually both inside and outside of the restaurant. Very loud due the activity level. Pricey for sure.
google avatar

Hanna S.

Yelp
I still love this place, but on recent visits, I've had a mix of terrific dishes and okay dishes. My seasonal fall salad was fresh and flavorful, and the grilled cheese with caramelized onions was oozy and glorious. A chocolate crinkle cookie was a rich treat. The house-made dark chocolate almonds were exactly on point, with an ideal level of sweetness. On the other hand, the butternut squash soup and sweet potato hash were underseasoned. I shouldn't have to add so much salt at a place like this. Even adding the whole cup of green salsa to the hash didn't help that much. The kale salad that comes with the sandwiches is crisp but bland, almost like it's just tossed with lemon instead of a complete dressing. The apple cider snickerdoodle tasted like an ordinary snickerdoodle -- perfectly fine, but not special. The pumpkin spice cupcake was heavy, without much pumpkin flavor. None of these dishes was bad, just not up to the standard the kitchen is capable of. The staff remains sharp and professional. I'll keep coming back for the sandwiches and salads in a bright space.

Yelp
Really delicious brunch and our favorite brunch spot when we visited Albuquerque. The line was very long on a Sunday but we did come at the peak time, so that was to be expected. I ordered the classic Grove breakfast with sausage and loved my meal. My husband got the special which was some kind of smothered pork dish, also very tasty. Lattes were also fantastic and a highlight of the meal. The pastries seemed quite popular and would try to get one of those next time! Overall a really cute cafe with lots of seating and light, and a very upscale vibe.
google avatar

Irina H.

Yelp
This place is such a treat!! Flavorful food with fantastic ingredients, an adorable bright and airy atmosphere and friendly staff. Order in line, seat yourself, and wait for the smallish portions of fabulous, filling food, to come to you! This is my favorite breakfast place - don't miss out on the sublime English muffins or the fantastic potatoes! The hot tea comes in an adorable pot, and the place is also a bit of a shop, selling fancy, spendy things like cook books and posh salts and candles.
google avatar

Taylor S.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious! It was so good and felt so healthy and clean! Parking lot access and cute atmosphere both inside and outside seating!
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
Quality over quantity. Don't come hungry, but if you're into "locally sourced organically raised, $$$, you'll be thrilled. Sadly, I'm more into bold flavors and quantity. The beautiful small plate of chilaquiles with bland red chili sauce did not do it for me. SooooOooo, just return to the counter where you skip the line, refill coffee, and buy a cupcake. Yeah, better now. The restaurant makes an attempt at ambiance, with background music that cannot be heard above the incredibly loud crowd. I've been in very few restaurants where the decibels are higher. Unless you read lips, avoid.

Yelp
The Grove is an American fast casual restaurant in downtown Albuquerque on Central near Highland Park. The restaurant has a private parking lot, though it's not very large and you may need to search for street parking along Walter St. Be aware you will need a zone permit to park directly adjacent to the restaurant on Walter from 8am-5pm each day, so you'll need to park farther down and walk. The Grove has indoor and patio seating. The seating is metal chairs without sides, so large-bodied people will have no issue and will feel comfortable. Wheelchair users will have no issues either, as there are no steps and the chairs can be easily moved. Patrons order at the counter and get a table number, after which your food is dropped off. The Grove does not have table/full service, so filling waters, getting condiments, etc, will be the diner's responsibility. I had the Organic Egg White Frittata, which typically comes with cremini mushrooms, roasted asparagus, roasted tomatoes, arugula salad, and is topped with pecorino cheese. I had the arugula held off on mine just because of personal preference. The frittata was very good and the ingredients were high quality. It was cooked fresh (unlike quiche at some restaurants) and was a healthier selection. If having healthy options for breakfast/brunch food is important to you, The Grove will be a good choice and they are known for their well selected ingredients. Be aware their portions aren't the largest; you won't be getting a loaded down breakfast platter. The online menus do not list prices. My frittata was $16.11 (with tax, excluding gratuity), so somewhat on the higher side price-wise for the volume of food, but the food is well made and high quality. Overall a good experience and I'm excited to return to explore more of their menu!

Yelp
Wow wow wow I've never had an English muffin like that. Was referred by a resident here. The food was amazing...salmon with the English muffin to the granola. Come hungry and enjoy a unique and very fresh breakfast.

Yelp
Another 5 star surprise in abq! Coming from portland we have high standards and this place has even higher onesso amazing just look at the picture I took-doesn't get much better Passion fruit curd French toast - yeah for realzzzz

Yelp
Dined here today for lunch and the food was delicious!! Super fresh, tasted amazing, and friendly staff. Parking is a pain but that's downtown for you.

Yelp
Love Grove Cafe and Market, the food is so fresh and delicious their English muffins are scrumptious! And you can buy them to take home! I need to try other things on the menu but the avocado toast is delicious! I for sure prefer it on the English muffin, the whole wheat toast is good but just not as good as the English muffin!! The avocado toast comes with a side salad and is so delicious! The chai is also really good to be sure to stir it, they dust cinnamon on top, so good! Service has always been kind and helpful, today when I went they were especially busy but they came around to check in and also give out macaroons for the wait. Love and highly recommend! They also have quite a few vegetarian options as well.
google avatar

Tania M.

Yelp
Wow!! So many amazing options to choose from. Be ready to stand in a line. This place is popular and for good reason. It is a well oiled machine. There is a staff member circulating the inside and outside of the restaurant constantly to help customers get a table after they have placed there orders. Tables are bused immediately. We ordered the organic egg white frittata, the avocado toast, and the chilaquiles. All were spectacular! The avocado toast has a hard boiled egg, pickled carrots, beets, and sprouts. Probably one of the best avocado toasts I have ever had. We will definitely be back to check out more of the other awesome options.
google avatar

Melody M.

Yelp
Grove, pretty please double check the to go orders before they go out. Over the phone I was politely walked through a non-meat and non-dairy lunch salad. Only to now be picking out turkey bits from my lunch. And no sourdough toast as offered. I understand you do not feel the need to cater to plant-based patrons on your main menu. I could absolutely go elsewhere, I just thought I had a win here today. And yes you were all super busy. I get it. Just asking for better follow through so that the $44 I spent on lunch for two can actually be thoroughly enjoyed.
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
Ahh "The Grove" famous for the epic "Stevia" scene in Breaking Bad and for the amazing ambiance / vibe. This was where my team wanted to wrap up 2023. Variety of menu items, all were winners! I had the grilled cheese with a vanilla latte .
google avatar

Ben N.

Yelp
I've riffed a couple of times on this site about the all-too-common Yelp lead-in, "I really wanted to like this place," basically to the effect of, "Really? Don't you really want to like *every* place in which you take the trouble to spend your time and money?" In short, it seems a bit redundant. But with the Grove, I really wanted to like this place. For me, there was a bit of an ulterior motive: Like many Albuquerque visitors--and I'm kinda embarrassed to admit this--we wanted to check out a few "Breaking Bad" locations, and the Grove probably flies a bit under the radar on that score. Moral monster Lydia met psychopath Todd here, and Walter White set into motion Lydia's death here by tampering with her "Stevia crap." And besides all that, the Grove has a very nice reputation as an upscale fast-casual breakfast place. The food was actually quite good, if we could get past the fact that it came out at barely above room temperature. The "Fancy" Breakfast Sandwich, with couple of eggs over easy, gruyere, bacon, arugula, plus the "fancy" hot sauce, on an English muffin, really brought the flavor, and a little chopped kale salad on the side was a nice, fresh, and healthful counterpoint. But the sandwich was quite difficult to eat. Forget picking it up (way too messy for that); it was also challenging to assemble satisfying bites with a knife and fork because the muffin was firm enough that everything splayed across the plate when you tried to cut through the bread. Aside from its lukewarm-ness, the wife thought her Sweet Potato Hash was delicious, and it sure was a lot easier to eat than the sandwich. But the business model was much more of a problem than the food. We arrived just before opening time at 8am on a Friday. Of course, there's a little bit of a line, which is to be expected when you arrive for opening. But after the doors swung open, that small-ish line became a much bigger line when a group of young women with a slightly older chaperone or leader pushed to the front and then kept letting late-arriving members of their party cut the line. A couple of smaller parties did the same thing. (Of course, you could confront these people Larry David-style, but is it really worth the scene in this somewhat refined environment?) The restaurant does nothing to discourage this practice. And I realize that post-pandemic some restaurants are still short-staffed, but only one cashier was on duty to take orders. So we stood in line for almost 25 minutes before so much as placing an order. That's too damn long. And the ordering system meant on this morning that it was impossible to get a coffee refill (that one cup was high-quality) and once our food was brought to us, not a soul came by to check on us. That's not exactly hospitality. Despite a creative breakfast menu that employs very fresh ingredients, we didn't find it very enjoyable to dine here.
google avatar

Charlene G.

Yelp
Meh - Came here this morning for a mother/son breakfast. We loved the atmosphere. There weren't a lot of choices for breakfast on the menu. I ordered the banana French toast. It was okay. Way too sweet. It felt like I was eating a super sugary dessert. One son ordered the "pancakes" which were folded crepes. He said too much honey on top and with the syrup it made it way too sweet. The other son ordered the breakfast burrito and was satisfied. The only real complaint aside from the super sweet breakfast was waiting in line. We waited 35 minutes. As soon as it was our turn to order, a second cashier opened a register. That was ridiculous. For three breakfast items, a latte, lemonade and iced coffee came out to $63.00. A little pricy. Not sure I will come back. If I do it might be just for coffee.

Yelp
This place is great! So many amazing options to choose from and fresh! The only thing is it is crowded but the line moved quickly. Also parking is TIGHT! I had to park across the street. The food was delicious- can't wait to go again!
google avatar

Anna W.

Yelp
Love that they have nut free pesto (even thought that wasn't what I ordered)! Menu has a good variety and it is always a plus to be able to order breakfast all day. $70 for a party of 3; 3 entrees, 2 drinks, 1 dessert.
google avatar

StevenEryn P.

Yelp
Love the Grove! The staff is friendly, the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, the food is outrageously delicious, like homemade. So fresh.
google avatar

Jane B.

Yelp
I loved their all day breakfast. It's smaller portions and still super yummy. I liked the outdoor seating. You walk up and order, then it gets dropped off at your table. For who was taking out order and dropping off the food they were super nice! It's tricky to find parking if it's all full and the line doesn't go every quickly. Good spot to take your time at and walk around afterwards though.
google avatar

Jodi W.

Yelp
Food is fresh and homemade. Flavors are fantastic. Avocado toast. English sour dough muffins are so wonderful so we ordered a bag to go. Mmmm Delicious Sweet potato hash. Kids pbj was good. Pancakes are delicious. Great ambiance. Friendly servers.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
We definitely wanted to come here before leaving ABQ. The line was not as long as it would have been if it was the weekend. It was still busy, but the line to order moved fast. We the omelet du fromage, breakfast sandwich, and pancakes. The omelet had goat cheese inside, which complemented well. Everything tasted great and on the healthy side.
google avatar

Barb H.

Yelp
Friendly service and reasonable wait time for the food. It was too noisy inside so we ate outside. The music was still too loud for me but at least there was less sound from the other patrons. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich which came with a green salad. I really liked the sandwich but my salad was too salty. My daughter's supposedly identical green salad was not salty enough so I think it (the salt) just didn't get mixed in very well. She liked her prosciutto and egg toast and her latte. My husband liked his lentil soup and roll.

Sasha W.

Yelp
Delicious food, so happy to find some gluten free options. Good service. Positive dining room energy. Will be back. Thank you!
google avatar

Katrina E.

Yelp
I come here EVERY TIME I'm in town! Their food is consistent and so well done. The line may get long, but the food comes out quickly and the staff are kind. I've seen them give great customer service over and over again. The sweet potato hash is my favorite, with a mimosa:)

Johnny R.

Yelp
The food is of high quality and always fresh. service with a smile is an understatement, the service is top notch!!! The ambiance is amazing, location is in the heart of the city. (Near broadway and central). This place is a can't miss breakfast/brunch spot!!!

Yelp
Eclectic, different and suited more for Austin, Tx than Abq - but here we are. Drove past the parking lot, but found street parking. The dining room was full of people and shelves stocking towels, utensils, spices and other goodies. Placed our order and found a place to sit. Good thing we got here when we did - just in front of the next shift of diners filling the place up. We ordered Grove Pancakes & the Burrito. No soft drinks sold here so we settled for ice tea. No sweetener or straws either (good thing we bring our own). The pancakes came out looking like crepes, thin and battered with fresh fruit. The crème fraiche added a different flavor. The Burrito was also excellent - eggs, bacon, crème fraiche, potatoes, green chile and cheese rolled up in a flour tortilla. The salsa was fresh and definitely enhanced the flavor. A great breakfast.

Yelp
I have always liked The Grove Cafe & Market. I visit Albuquerque annually and I always stop by for breakfast. I've accepted that the line CAN be long (so come after the breakfast or lunch rush), but the food is ALWAYS good. The young lady (God, I'm old!) who took my order today was helpful and pleasant (and had cute moon "earrings"). Another young lady refilled my coffee twice (she jokingly threatened to cut me off after my third cup!). The sweet potato hash would never be something that I'd order, but I chose to live dangerously today. It was awesome!
