The Handle Bar - Review - Teton Village - Jackson Hole - The Infatuation

"Instead of spending your hard-earned vacation days pizza-french frying your way down the bunny hill, adventure lodge-side for a little hot toddy and duck fat french fry time of your own. The Handle Bar is Jackson Hole’s answer to gorgeous views, fancy bar snacks, and aprés ski cocktails without any of that pesky snowsport business." - Diva de Loayza

A First-timer's Guide to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

"Make your way to the base of the mountain and straight into the Four Seasons for a drink at The Handle Bar. It’s the place to be for a boozy hot chocolate and a lengthy list of domestic and international beers." - Travel + Leisure Editors

The Best Restaurants in and Around Yellowstone National Park | Eater

"A short drive from downtown Jackson, Teton Village is a posh alcove of high-end resorts at the foot of the Teton Range. A haven for hikers and skiers, the all-season town boasts a cluster of destination-worthy restaurants and bars, providing upscale sanctuary after a day exploring Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Parks. The Handle Bar, located inside the Four Seasons Jackson Hole and owned by celebrity chef Michael Mina, does a great job capturing that relaxing lodge atmosphere while offering a contemporary take on mountain lodge flavors. Elk chili nachos, plump duck wings, elk meatball parmesan sandwiches, and chicken roti with mushroom bread pudding are all on offer at this glossy pub, alongside craft cocktails and a deep wine list. The sprawling space is also ideal for outdoor dining, with its massive stone patio, roaring fire pits, and incredible mountain views." - Matt Kirouac

Located within the Four Seasons, we had a wonderful dinner tonight at the Handle Bar. The dining room is beautiful, and both the service and food were great. This is one of the nicer restaurants in Teton Village, and we would highly recommend it here!

Handle Bar, nestled inside the Four Seasons at the base of the gondola, is a fantastic spot for lunch. The location is perfect for a mid-day break, offering stunning views and a convenient setting. The food is delicious, and the drinks are expertly crafted and savory. #fourseasonsteton #tetonvillage #jacksonhole #jacksonwyoming #skilunch #trufflemacandcheese #aprésski #movingtosoflo #southfloridaliving #gracebucholtzexprealty #gracebucholtz #southfloridarealestate

This is a Michael Mina restaurant inside the Four Seasons. We went here twice and the food was good. The tomato watermelon salad is delish along with their Mexican street corn, the duck wedges (doesn't taste like duck) were good (their ranch sauce is amazing!), the pastrami sandwich was good too. The Caesar salad was tasty, each leaf individually dressed. Not so great - The pretzel was a little rubbery but the beer cheese was good. The cowboy cookie is nothing extraordinary it's like any other cookie baked with ice cream (think pizookie). The truffle mac and cheese was mediocre.

Google
We visited in March and ate here for lunch everyday. The French Dip is the best! But we also enjoyed the nachos, pretzel, potato soup, and pork tacos. Love the Mini Caballo and Jackson Mule for drinks. The view of the slopes is great. And Jordan was the best waitress!!!

Google
This cute pub within The Four Seasons Hotel is a fun place to meet and eat after a fun day of skiing. Lively bar that serves good apps. My favorite app was the ricotta spread with drizzled honey and red peppercorns served with crusty country style bread. The wings had a little kick to it that hit the spot. It’s a family friendly place too. We enjoyed sitting outdoors slope side.

Unfortunately as is reflected by a lot of low rated reviews … terrible management and hosting. They don’t take reservations so rely on 1-2 hour waits during busy rush hour where they prioritize four season guests (which I am fine with but for the tables that sit empty in anticipation of the guests that may or may not come but you have a full set of mountain folks). Food is delicious, drinks are phenomenal, understaffed but like most of Jackson the servers are phenomenal just limited to deal with sheer volume. FS, you can do better on volume / prediction management. Pretzel is a must, beer cheese is out of this world, beet and arugula salad is delicious, smash burger is out of this world. Ultimately food is not lacking.

Alexandra Golden

Google
Very good food and drinks but pricey. It's tough to get a table here from 11-1 so I'd recommend making a reservation online. The staff was accomadating and friendly, I would say a little slow for my taste. The other downside is the tap water is not very good, but that is being picky. The atmosphere is very chic and modern with a great ski lunch spot feel. Recommend the truffle Mac and cheese probably the best I've ever had.

Google
$16 for 5 onion rings. Whoever priced this menu is not tethered to reality.

Yelp
No better skiers break... Elk Chili at the Four Seasons #gluten-free is not something most ski lodges can be trusted with, but here first thing they ask, any allergies?

Yelp
We went here one late afternoon. We had the bison burger and veggie burger. Both were juicy, perfectly complemented by the bread and the fixins. We then got the profiteroles and ice cream for dessert. The texture and presentation were unique compared to a traditional profiteroles, but equally, if not more, flavorful. It kind of tasted like an ice cream cookie sandwich but better. I was so hungry so forgot to get pictures of the burgers, but I did grab a picture of the dessert!

Yelp
Decent bottom of the mountain food. Great for a drink if lines are long and you're waiting for them to chill.

Yelp
I would recommend coming here over the Mangy Moose. The food is better. The atmosphere is bettter. They pour a nice olde fashioned too.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of the more "high end" in Teton Village. I was quite disappointed after waiting for over an hour to get seated. The food was bland, overpriced and with small portions. The ambiance of the restaurant felt chaotic and had a strange, unidentifiable smell. Next time I'll be sure to eat in town or pack my own meal when visiting the resort.

Yelp
Honestly really liked this place and tried a number of dishes in the time we were there. The soft pretzel is so good. Fun too because it comes out in the shape of a handlebar. Loved the Cesar salad but it is quite strong. The side of chicken is very juicy too. The tacos were pretty solid as well. Others in our group liked the smashburger and the kids meals. I looked forward to coming here each day for lunch! It can get crowded to try to get in before noon if possible. Good vibes all around!

Scott W.

Yelp
What a mess. Put in our name. Told the wait was an hour. No problem! It is busy. We took the kids to play in the snow. My wife got a text saying our table was ready. Followed the instructions. Clicked 1. Was told the table was ready for us. I hiked all the way back up to the restaurant. My buns were burning. I get there and the hostess says there is no table for us because my wife didn't respond. See photo. To add insult to injury there were tables open everywhere. Terrible front of house service. Totally I equipped to handle basic stuff.

Yelp
Really enjoy the Handle Bar for a break from the mountain. It has an amazing view right in front of all the chair lifts. It gives cozy cabins vibes. The service was great and everything came quickly. The food was also delicious however what I ordered was ridiculously overpriced. I know this is the Four Seasons but I mean it was crazy. 19 bucks for a pretty basic salad and another 19 to add chicken. That's insane(see posted pics) . Despite what it was I've been back several times and will continue to go back. Especially since it's so convenient.

Yelp
I stopped in here to watch the football game and received great service! They have a good challenge that I didn't participate in but looks like it could be so much fun.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was fast and friendly. The pretzel bread was the best pretzel I've ever had. Everything was so good! Perfect spot to chill after or even before your day out in JH. Drinks were amazing too. Husband had 2 beers and I had the Kiwi Colada. So fresh and delicious. Also, if you love pickles, the pickled ketchup, AMAZING. I asked for extra! Great food stop and fun atmosphere! Also have a bar top to grab sloshies too!

Yelp
A Michael Mina place should be amazing right? Sure, but the service was bad. Came in for lunch after skiing all morning. We grabbed a booth which had handy hooks for your gear so they aren't in the way. There is outdoor seating with heaters which can be nice on a sunny day. 3/4 - handle burger with a side of fries - decent burger. 2/4 - Chili with steak - the chili was good but the steak was cold. Not warm, cold. We didn't send it back because we didn't want to chance them spitting in food. 4/5 - Bloody Mary - this was pretty good. You can get it extra spicy. The mix used was really nice. Our server wasn't nice, wasn't attentive, forgot what we ordered and had to come back and ask us again (he didn't write anything down), and just wasn't friendly. Wouldn't recommend, but only for the Bloody Mary.

Yelp
Amazing bar to come grab a drink and enjoy the scenery. The bartender was amazing and very knowledgeable her name was Larissa and she was amazing. The drinks were pretty awesome, I had the wildflower and also the Dad's Vacation and they were delicious! Def a place to visit.

Yelp

Yelp
I'm stunned at the rating this place has on Yelp. I'm a long time Yelper and have found reviews of places (with 200+ reviews) to be very reliable. I know this is a community of foodies and we take our food seriously. I (and two friends) had a great time at Handle Bar. The service was impeccable. The food delicious. Maybe more 4.5 stars on food, but really good. And their house special old fashioned while pricey was one of the top 5 I've had in my life and I've had them in the best bars all over the world. As long as you aren't turned off by the cost (come on it's at a ski resort) you should give this place a try. Another caveat is that it wasn't particularly crowded on the mountain. And I suspect they may have a tough time with big crowds.

Yelp
This bar is lovely and sits right at the base of the mountain. They have heaters outside to keep you cozy in the winter. The homemade fireball is delicious and everything we ate was amazing. The staff is all very helpful and kind. The only downfall is if you are looking for a bit more energy or up beat vibe this place stays mellow and there was no music. Otherwise it's great!

Yelp
If you can made the 30 min wait, then you are in for a delicious treat. Local elk meatball sandwich, bison burger and tender broccolini are so de I lois and great for body repaire after a day of snowboard. Super nice and popular here, inside the four seasons hotel, next the lifts.

Yelp
We were treated like trash and second class citizens at this establishment. We chose to enjoy our 11th wedding anniversary lunch after enjoying the gondola ride up the mountain. We were treated with such disrespect and contempt I have never experienced. The bar manager was so ill-tempered and could not manage the situation at all. Our food and drinks were wrong. Our waiter blamed us, said there were too many tables to wait on and that our expectations to have decent service were not valid. Ruined our day. Manager added insults to our injury. The pedigree of the Four Seasons Brand should have merited a fabulous experience, instead it was absolutely the worst. We will never be staying in a Four Seasons nor dining at any restaurant bearing this name. You have permanently burned your brand with us.
google avatar

Ariana M.

Yelp
Huge selection of whisky. Also, one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I have ever had. If you love passion fruit forward wine, theirs is a major winner. The broccolini side is wonderful-seasoned with lemon and garlic. I will say the protein add ons for the salads are a bit small. I ordered salmon with my salad and it looked to be about 2.5-3 ounces. The flavors are all their so totally worth it. Had the cowboy cookie and DAMN....it was to die for!! Hot cookie served in iron skillet with ice cream...drool!! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Fantastic location at the base, by the lifts. This is attached to the Four Seasons, with an outdoor patio with fire pits that make it seem perfect for après. Decently busy at 2pm, quoted a 30 minute wait that ended up being 10. Seated, and then noticed that there were plenty of empty tables. This was confusing because everyone was quoted a wait. Had to wait for a bit before a server came over, but a manager did notice and serve the water. Once the server came by they apologized for the wait and explained it was due to a billing issue with another table. Was hopeful given the service recovery. Ordered a few Jackson mules, made with huckleberry. Incredibly sweet. Also piled on orders for wings, the bison burger and the fish & chips. Food came out fairly quickly. Burger came with pickles even though I asked them to skip them. Shoestring fries were a bit over cooked or maybe held at temp too long, but the wedges that came with the (fairly good) fish were cooked well and satisfying. Buffalo wings were standard, heavily sauced. Flaw there was they were sitting in a puddle of cheese dressing so be warned. Our server was super friendly (had a good tip about bison burger blends) but the overall experience was uneven at best. Given the prices I expected more. With the fantastic location they don't need to be exceptional, and so they're not, but if you chill out on the patio it seems like it could be a good time. A valuable tip here would be, the bathrooms are quite nice, though a bit small. I had used it even before dining here so you can definitely shoot in here.

Yelp
Great service, great drinks. I wish I had more to say but this is the place where you want to go after a long day on the slopes.

Yelp
Got here at 11:30 am, ordered off of the bar, grabbed our drinks, cane outside and sat at one of the 5 free tables. Within 2 minutes one of the hostesses came out and asked us to get up because they had a (imaginary) guest list! We got up of course, it's been almost 20 minutes as I'm writing this review and no other guest has sat on these empty tables. #robots
google avatar

Miguel C.

Yelp
This was a great place to eat after shredding the slopes. I had their bison burger along with their elk chili, which was absolutely delicious. They have a great selection of beers and cocktails as well.

Yelp
Sat at the bar and met some new friends and had a great lunch. It's busy around lunch hour so outdoor seating fills up quickly. It's within the four seasons so you have a mix of hotel guests, and skiers. Food is okay, service is okay.

Amber W.

Yelp
Had reservations here for 14. They sat us quickly and had our table ready. Staff was very nice and attentive. I would give the staff a 5/5 for service and hospitality. The food was sub par for the price. I understand we are in a resort town, however it was underwhelming. We had the corned beef stew which was $42 and came out like a bowl of French onion soup, with one carrot, one potato, and about 5 small cubes of corned beef. It was sad to be called a stew. Another friend ordered the butternut squash ravioli and it came with 6 raviolis the size of 1"x1". Another person decided to get a bowl of chili and the Cesar salad. The salad was $19 and came with approximately 5 pieces of lettuce and was a disappointment. It was dry and we had to ask for more dressing. The appetizers we ordered came out with the food which was disappointing considering we asked for them first out. Others ordered the sandwich or burger and those were probably the better choice considering price and amount provided. I had a vanilla latte which was delicious and probably the best coffee I had in Teton Village. Overall, I would not come back here for the price and quality of food. Again, the staff was amazing. We had spoke to the manager, Blaze about prior reservations in order to accommodate a party of 14, as well as split checks. They stated this would be okay. On check out, they stated they can only split the bill 4 ways for $1,000 check of poorly priced food. The person helping us states it was not conveyed to them that the check would be split 5 ways and said this is not their problem and they will write 1 check and itemize it for us so we can just send each other money through the group. We have been waiting over 2 hours for this check to be finalized. Unacceptable. We are the last people in the restaurant while staff is cleaning up the dining room.

Yelp
Racist hostess!! We came Saturday, March 11th shortly before 5PM. DJ plays until 5PM and it's a cool vibe. They have an outdoor bar as well to service people. My (Asian) husband goes indoors and tries to get a table and gets turned down. I also try later on (I am also Asian) and am told the restaurant is fully reserved. We were seated a few days earlier without a reservation but we're asked to return the table by 6:30PM for their dinner service which is totally fine as we just wanted some drinks. So I asked if she could seat my party of 8 but we'll return the table by 6PM. She said no. At this point, the restaurant was 80% empty. Later on, the rest of my party shows up and asks why we couldn't get a table. I told my white male friend in a cowboy hat he should try his luck. He was immediately seated... It was my last night with my friends so we didn't want to make a scene but we were all very uncomfortable she wouldn't seat my husband and I but immediately seated the white guy. Never felt any racism from the wait staff but I can't believe the hostess refused to seat us. We were here a couple days prior and a different hostess sat us without any issue. When we sat down and when we left, it was still pretty empty. I can't imagine someone actually cancelled a reservation that allowed her to seat us in the span of 10 minutes. She wouldn't even take our names or put us on a waitlist. I usually have a good time here for apres as their boots and apps are good. I just hope management sees this and better trains their staff because racism is not ok.

Yelp
Bring your friends & order the elk chili nachos! The serving size is easily big enough for four people! Needless to say, the setting is superb, with views from the patio of the Teton Mountain range & ski slopes. Tried the bison burger & truffle mac and cheese, but nachos ultimately were my favorite! Ohhh, last but not least- the soft pretzel! You'll want to try that as well...

Yelp
[1060] 12/2019 We stopped to visit this bar due to the location in Jackson Hole. I'm glad we did as our meal and our service was top notch Check in for a free appetizer. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich which was so good he said I had to try his food. Wow it was good Kid had the chicken tenders which he enjoyed. It was a large portion so he took some home I had the nachos which were amazing. The presentation was great. They make it in layers and they cut the large tortillas in front of you. Very cool We also had the popcorn shrimp which was wow!!! So many tasty shrimp that we had more then half to take home. To top it off we had the baked Alaska desert. Sooo good. So glad we had it The guys had hot chocolate. It was so good that They had seconds. Sounds like they melt the chocolate from scratch. No powder mix here The manager and server were super nice and traded jokes with my 10 year old We are definitely going back before we lease Jackson. This is a must visit place for our next trip

Michael S.

Yelp
This place was amazing. I saw some poor reviews, but we had a great experience. Aaron was fantastic - the drinks were very good - best old fashioned I've ever had. And the food was exceptional. Our party had a burger - short rib tacos and a salad with barely cooked salmon (as requested). All very good. Not cheap, but wonderful.

Jil Y.

Yelp
This is a great bar/ restaurant. We were there during the summer season, restaurant has great ski mountain ambiance. Patio with live music and the bar service was very good. We tried the nachos, there were shareable size for at least 4 people. And the sweet chili wings were worth going back for!

Rob M.

Yelp
Great view. Good vibe. Often slow service and very busy apre vous. Be patient and enjoy

Mary L.

Yelp
Always great Elk Nachos! Drink choices good! The atmosphere was fun to people watch and patio was toasty even in the snow
google avatar

Yelp
If you don't mind spending a little extra for satisfying drinks, then check out The Handle Bar. The drinks were good, they just felt a little over priced for what they're worth. Now, the nachos were freaking awesome. My family gets nachos at every opportunity and I can say that these were some of the best we've had. I can't give 5 stars because I felt robbed by my chicken caesar salad...

Mar R.

Yelp
It's fine. The menu is weird... the flavors of the various dishes don't go together. There's a number of Asian flavors (lemon grass and sesame) which really doesn't go with the more American food like a burger or short ribs. The salad came fast and 5 minutes later the rest came out before we finished the salad which was weird. Nothing was super hot, so the food got cold fast. Beet burger -- it was fine. The flavors were good but it was all the same slightly mushy texture. It needed some more crunch, even like a romaine slice would have helped. Short ribs -- the horseradish grits were a little overpowering. Large portion of veggies, but an avg size meat portion ($59) Broccolini - large portion. Pretty good. Heavily Asian flavors. Simple green Salad - VERY Simple. A large portion of lettuce and lettuces was fresh and tender. The shaved veggies is a few slices of carrot and radish and one slice of asparagus. A few tomatoes. Could have used a few more slices/toppings. Mac and cheese - it was decent. Wish it was hotter.

Mary P.

Yelp
Service was exceptional and the attitude of our waiter was great. Food was really good and fast Salad add ons were very expensive. For example to add salmon cost $26, kind of ridiculous even for mountain
google avatar

Rich Z.

Yelp
This place is obscenely expensive. Beware if you are on a budget. $130 for lunch. Four meals, one beer, two seltzers, two 7ups. Waitress was hopelessly inept. Kept disappearing to serve her other tables. Interestingly, this was after the lunch hour and the place was not busy. Maybe a quarter full. Meal took 20 mins to arrive. I had fries, waitress didn't bother to bring ketchup. I went over to the server station to retrieve as she had totally disappeared. Bussers were milling around doing busy work instead of checking the tables to see if water needed to be refilled, ketchup, etc. we ran out of water several times. Note to waitstaff: diners with kids should be a priority. They're there for food, not ambiance. They're also not there for a two hour lunch. We were dining with two hungry children. She outsourced a request for a different salad dressing for my eight year old daughter. Took 10 minutes to arrive. The food is quite good. Kudos to the kitchen. Well done. If the service had been good, would have rated four or five stars. Get some new servers.

Benjamin C.

Yelp
Food was amazing and the service was even better, A bit pricey but so is everything else in Teton village
google avatar

Kristen I.

Yelp
Absolute FAVORITE place in all of Jackson! It's pricy, yes. However, it's worth every penny. The burgers are big and juicy. The nachos are to die for! So big and filled with stuff. The salads... amazing! Seriously, can't go wrong with The Handle Bar!

Jenn R.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years and it is always great. Yes, we have to usually wait a bit because it's always busy, but who cares we are on vacation. If you want to be seated immediately make a reservation somewhere. Best pretzel hands down. Service, food and drinks are always wonderful.
google avatar

Andy C.

Yelp
We jumped in for a quick snack at 6:30 this evening. Had the truffle Mac and the sweet potato fries. The fries were really good. The Mac was fine - needed salt and pepper in the worst way. Get ready for the $6 bottle of Mexican Coke tho! The vibe was fine - felt like a slow night. They had televisions tuned into March Madness. Might be more of a vibe with a few more people? Service was blah. Zero personality. Could barely hear her speak she was so lacking in energy.

Yelp
Love Handle Bar especially for its golden location! An ideal spot when you want to take a break from the slope. The outdoor fire place is the best. I came here every time on every JH trip, food has always been great. My favorite is their pretzel bread but their burger will not disappoint either!

Wes B.

Yelp
Buyer beware! Though the appearance of this restaurant would have you believe you are eating at your typical base area restaurant, in fact you are eating at a Four Seasons hotel restaurant. I met a friend there for lunch today, this was our experience: We both ordered a meal salad and asked for grilled salmon to be added. When our salads arrived at the table I commented that the portion was that of an appetizer. The salmon was literally a half portion as compared to any time I have ever ordered this same meal at another restaurant. It was as if they were short on salmon so they split a portion between the two of us. The food was delicious, however; when I tell you the price, the value was as diminished as any restaurant I have ever eaten in. $18.00 for the salad, that's fine, $24.00 for the half portion of salmon, so $42.00 for what amounted to an appetizer sized portion. I also ordered an Old Fashioned cocktail. I had never seen a cocktail billed in this manner, $18.00 for the well whiskey plus $6.00 to mix it into a cocktail, $24.00 total. My friend and I travel three weeks a year to ski at the finest resorts in North America and have been doing this during the last four years, never have I felt like such a sucker having bought lunch at the base of a ski area! Good news, I'm not going to miss a meal because of it, I just really don't like being taken advantage of. With tip the salad with salmon and one cocktail was just over $85.00, just my half of the bill. We didn't punish the server for our experience, still tipped 20%, I'm certain he had no control over the pricing and he did a fine job of providing quality service. My recommendation, look elsewhere for better value and portions, you will likely enjoy the feeling of not having been taken advantage of, as both of us believed was the case today!

Scott S.

Yelp
Be prepared to bring a big stack of cash...the price of a whole bottle of whiskey for a single drink and $17 for a pretzel...wtf? I expect a ski resort to be a little expensive but this is a whole new level. These prices don't even buy you anything in terms of exclusivity or easy seating. Be prepared to wait to pay for the mediocrity. The place is packed full of unsuspecting people that you can hear also complaining about the prices and the food. Skip unless you are desperate or you like burning $$.
google avatar

P.C. K.

Yelp
A+ food and friendly staff. It's nice to ski the slopes and then stop for food at The Handle Bar. I highly recommend! It's in the Four Seasons Hotel and you can then shop in many of their inhouse stores. So fun!
google avatar

Jonathan D.

Yelp
This is the casual restaurant in the four seasons and perfectly good for a quick bite. We had the ramen and steak frites a few nights ago which were both good. The overall menu has a lot of choice and everything is in the middle of the fairway--you may not write home about it but it is more than above the bar.

Yelp
Grab the bars and go for it! I was very positively surprised by The Handle Bar. What at first looks like it might be the bar/restaurant version of a Bass Pro Shop located at the bottom of a ski hill turns out to be a very exciting place to eat and drink. The menu is full of unexpected items and free of uninspired resort hotel staples. While that might put off the crowd looking for a choice between burgers, a couple pastas and a chicken dish, get your game on and jump into what this place offers: * Smoked trout in a bahn mi sandwich * Little gem Caesar with polenta croutons * Bison and bean chili * Quinoa burger with avocado & tzatziki *** ...and many more wonders like that. The salad greens are local, organic, out-of-the-field flavorful and dressed perfectly. They also serve a 30 oz. burger that is free if you finish it in 30 mins...$49 if it takes 31 mins or more and the help of two hungry friends. The Handle Bar is definitely set up to quench your thirst too. The enormous bar station is stocked and ready with everything from Huckleberry Moscow Mules to quad-lift shotskis to a dozen local draft beers and another couple dozen served from the can or bottle. The front of The Handle Bar has enormous disappearing doors and an outdoor area that provide spectacular views of the upper mountain as well as the activity at the base of the hill. Prices are fairly reasonable too: 7 people for dinner cost $140, including drinks/beers. ***This quinoa burger was by far the single best food item we found during a week of mostly eating out in Jackson and Teton Village. In fact, I'd declare it the most unique and delicious serving I've encountered all summer. Kudos to the kitchen for both the idea and the execution. So crispy and yet light and crumbly, perfectly complimented with avocado, red onion, sprouts, tomato and accented with tzatziki!!

Yelp
Overpriced, overcrowded. In our desperate state of hunger after skiing all morning we walked into the closest thing we could find at the base. Without looking at the menu, we put in our name for a table of 7 which took about 30 minutes around lunch time. This place is packed since it is right at the base and the bar is very busy. Everything on the menu is overpriced and my elk chili and cole slaw came out to $30 without tax or tip. The food is alright but definitely not worth the time and money. Definitely going to find something more casual next time!

Yelp
Great bar with indoor and outdoor sitting out of four seasons hotel oN the ski are oof Teton village. Very good food with great ambience. We sat outside with heating lamps and fireplaces. It was freezing in the middle of January but I enjoyed the sun and the fresh air. The view of the mountains is unobstructed and the service was very good. I had the coconut soup with a draft beer and my partner had the bison burger!!!!! Amazing food. Great whiskey cocktails too. I love that place and I would be back. Very busy inside but no wait time outdoors. I can only imagine sitting here in the spring with a cold beer.

Yelp
Happy they were open. Server was wonderful. Limited menu is sad. The elk meatball sandwich was 27$. They put 3 whole meatballs on it. And they didn't really taste like elk since it was buried in marinara anyway. And the bread was so hard it tears up the top of your mouth. The $5 subway meatball sub beats this thing 10x. It was just so mediocre. Also had nachos. Creative how they cut the chips table side, but within a few minutes it's all mush. Way too much happening and not enough chip. Half eaten because i generally don't like mush. Overpriced. Skip it. Not worth the price tag in any way.
