All the donuts I have had here are delicious. The Creme filled are so good and have a good amount in them. They have three different flavors of donut holes and they are all so good. Maple bars are great as well. The larger cinnamon bloom donuts is a whole meal and delicious. Great place to get your donut fix

Google
Cute spot off the 5. Easy access from freeway. Covered parking, open parking and a convenient drivethru. Per sign 4 am to 12 noon are the drivethru hours. Donuts are good and don't taste over fried or greasy. The boxes are so cute the donuts came in. I had to take a picture. Staff very nice as well.

Google
Wonderful fresh made doughnuts. Picked them up at the drive through window. Our favorite doughnut stop.

Google
Great little place off the I-5. Freshly made donuts by this wonderful lady. I had a maple bar Monday with bacon crumble on top! I really don't know how to make it sound any better. I had a small coffee it round up to about $ 4 something it is worth the price very tasty and fresh. It is one of the best Donut business in Oregon. Definitely will be back!

Google
The location is just above everything in this little truck stop town and you can enjoy a view from a nice window seat. Good music plays quietly. They have bathrooms and a respectable selection of donuts. Looks like coffee is self serve once you pay for a cup. The staff was friendly enough and the donuts were good. I think this place is likely to reach the expectations of any reasonable donut enthusiast :)

Google
We usually don't pass by here til sometime in the afternoon but this time I had an early dental appointment..lol. Ya, not were I should go after a dentist appointment but did it anyway.. tried a few types of donuts.

Google
This is a cute little donut shop right off the highway. Their blooming donut was huge and super fresh! We will definitely make this a normal stop when we are in the area.

Stephanie Green

Google
We had a great time here. Definitely try the apple fritters. My spouse and I got the regular size ones, which are massive, but our friends did the challenge. Wonderful food and staff.

Yelp
For someone who has traveled alot and tried different doughnuts from across the country and even in international travel, this was some of the best tasting donughts, light and fluffy as they should be and rated as my favorite now :) will stop by every time when traveling through the area :)

Yelp
Good donuts. I think they are worth the stop if your on I-5 and have a sweet tooth. Recommend the blueberry fritters.

Dianna S.

Yelp
Their donuts are amazing. They also have delicious biscuits and gravy that are a great value.

Yelp
Randomly saw the Happy Donuts sign on a road trip, stopped to take a chance and now a car full of happy kids. The sweetest people and the cutest interior. As amazing as those two things were, they don't come close to how amazing the donuts were. The donut holes were like mini honey buns. The glazed donuts were perfection. The cinnamon roll was to die for. And they have a drive through. Perfection.

Yelp
Fresh & delicious donuts!! A quick turn off the highway and you'll have some of the best donuts in the region!!

Malia E.

Yelp
They don't exist!! Don't waist your time!! We tried to stop here to get a donut on a road trip and it was a colossal waste of time, the building is not there, they do not exist!! Drove up and down the road 8 times and nothing no donut shop anywhere! Don't waste your time!!!!!!!!!

Terri S.

Yelp
The service was nice, a little dumbfounded when I used a coupon from yelp, the donuts were just ok , nothing special, the apple fritters were horrible I would stay away from them,

Yelp
My favorite donuts! I come from Bandon when I need to go to Medford. Always stop! I highly recommend these donuts. Great selection and always fresh. They do sellout early though.

Christy S.

Yelp
I stopped in to get some donuts and the Donuts are delicious. But my issue with this place is the service that I received. I was helped by an older heavyset lady ( I wish I got her name) who was impatient and rude and it totally effected my whole day. I told my husband all about it when I got into the truck, well actually he didn't stop hearing about it all the way up north then as we passed it again heading south lol poor guy. Even if the donuts are really good the service was so bad that it ruined the whole experience! I thought it was called "The Happy Donut" Nothing Happy about going there that day. Sadly I will miss out on good donuts because I won't go back.

Yelp
Awesome food, the biscuit and cheese was so good after taking on the 1 pound apple fritter challenge. The service was awesome and the customers were so cool during the challenge, especially the two little kids. Really good donut holes too, highly recommend for the good customer service, good family atmosphere, and good food!!!

Yelp
Yes, all 5 stars! How's the coffee you ask? Flavorless, but what's your point?!?! You didn't come here for coffee. You weren't born yesterday. My travel buddy said he heard L.A. was the world's donut capital. Right! And it never rains in Hilo. The folks at The Happy Donut know their stuff. They know that lovely critter in the case is a "Bismarck", not a "jelly filled donut." And believe you me little sister, they know how to make 'em. My podnah, Doug had a bear claw. He didn't comment until it was too late to share. Doug's no fool. The coffee was hot and vaguely brown in appearance, but the donuts .. mercy! Picture of coffee cup attached, no Bismarck photos available, but you knew that. THD! THD! THD!!!!

Cassie J.

Yelp
Really good! On a road trip with the family and stopped by. Had the chocolate and maple bar. Loved the maple! Service was great:)

Yelp
Stopped on our long drive for a quick coffee and donut! Awesome donuts and great customer service!!
google avatar

Kurt P.

Yelp
Stopped here yesterday and bought a box of donuts. The donuts were truly wonderful. Would have given 5 stars, but did not try the coffee so not able to verify how good it is. The donuts hold up very well. The next morning they were still very good, especially the apple fritters. The people here are super friendly. Enjoyed our stop. Very easy on/off the freeway, makes for a great short stop!
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
Well I changed my tune...good donuts. Quite getting their donuts from coffee shops and other places and bought them from the Happy Donut, made a world of difference.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
Cute little drive through. Great service from the lady at the window - super nice and Genuine. Glazed donut was good. They're a bit flat? Must be the way they make them. The apple fritter was just okay. Coffee was good. Following COVID guidelines.

Yelp
This place was an unexpected delight. It's a legit old style doughnut shop. They also have a drive through. My favorite doughnut is maple bar, when I asked if they had any she replied "of course and its maple bar Monday so its buy one, get one free". She also gave a hole to our dog in the back seat. And it didn't disappoint, great quality doughnut. We will be stopping here again on our next roadtrip. Doughts = delish Service = exceptional Price = unbeatable (2.50 for 2 doughnuts and 2 cooffees)

Debbie S.

Yelp
We were have a bad day and decided to stop by on our drive home. We bought 9 different pastries to enjoy. OMG enjoy We did. All the pastries were fresh, moist, and delicious. We ate the two fritters the next day and they were moist and fresh as well. I cannot wait to enjoy more of their pastries!!! And thank you for making a bad day great!

Yelp
A happy accidental find. Coming back from California we stopped by a nearby gas station. We proceeded back to the highway but accidentally missed the turn and thought about making a U-turn in The Happy Donut Lot but decided to stop in since the wife loves donuts. The Happy Donut did not disappoint. We ordered a cinnamon twist, an original glaze, and 2 glazed twists. All donuts tasted fresh and the dough just melts in your mouth. Sitting in the car writing this review right away. Highly recommend 10/10! (Forgot to take pics of our donuts because we ate them too fast)
google avatar

Cara R.

Yelp
The best people and yummy yummy food! Quick stop off the freeway. This place is a MUST. Their biscuits and gravy are on point and their maple bars with bacon YUM!!!

Alex L.

Yelp
The lady who helped us was so excellent! She perfectly described all the different options and set our expectations, and they were not let down! We settled on the butter milk bars (marvelous) Apple fritter bites (scrumptious) and lastly, maple rings If we pass through here again we have to stop!! She really put the happy into happy donut :)

Yelp
I had passed by this donut stop many times before I finally got them when they were open and still had donuts (I guess those two things kinda go together). Located on a vista point which has not much of a view, The Happy Donut is sorta out there on its own. The donuts are just fine, nothing more, and with all the fancy donuts that most of us are now used to, this place seems rather mundane. It's got more parking than it could ever use, even if there was National Donut Day and they were the host. I do have to give it up to whomever writes their ad board sign slogans, kudos! Should you stop here? sure, why not, there's literally nothing else around for miles, so if you're looking for some mainstream donuts and a great view of the highway, The Happy Donut is your place.

Yelp
Delicious assortment of fresh donuts, twists, fritters & bars! Friendly service, pleasant dining area & clean restroom. They even offer a drive-up window, but I suggest going inside to see the selection. Conveniently just off the freeway. Easy off & on.

Annie J.

Yelp
We stopped by Happy Donut on a whim on our way up to the Oregon Coast and we are so happy we did. The donuts are delicious, best donuts I've had in years, and the woman working there was friendly and upbeat. Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, yummy and friendly establishment. Thank you!!

Yelp
Amazing little surprise stop for us! What a great atmosphere! Staff is super welcoming! Amazing donuts and great coffee! Place is busy!!!

Yelp
Nice quick stop on the way north on the 5... The drive through was great! The donuts were really good!

Yelp
With its location and easy access to Interstate 5 highway, it's definitely worth a stop if your passing through the area Its parking lot is huge and offers easy in and out access for large vehicles. I like view from the lobby, even though it's rural and overlooks I5. Their donuts are of top quality and decently priced. In fact, their buttermilk bars were the best I've had in quit awhile. I recommend this business.
google avatar

Jacqueline J.

Yelp
Cute place! Great view! Awesome customer service! And most importantly the donuts are one of the best and freshest I've had!! Added bonus is their coffee is delicious and the perfect balance for donut eating. I'm from Cali and I know donuts and these are a must try! Thankful For this cute place. Great work The Happy Donut!! My belly is happy :)

Yelp
This is really 3.5, the doughnuts they do have are 4's, but due to lack of variety and service sneaking in extra doughnuts, I had to knock it down. This hole in the wall shop has quality doughnuts, despite looking a bit drab from the outside. Just be sure you're specific about your order. Despite my boyfriend telling me, "I don't like glazed doughnuts, but get one if you want," and me telling the employee, "I'll take A glazed doughnut," we ended up with two. We figured they were just expensive, until we got to the car and realized the mistake. They have glazed doughnuts, vanilla cake, and cinnamon rolls. If you're looking for variety, you better keep rolling on to Portland. No chocolate with nuts, sprinkles, or chocolate cake doughnuts, or any other "extras," like cinnamon, blueberry, or crunch type options.

Yelp
SUPER friendly service, tasty doughnuts, and very good biscuits and gravy! Stop on by! You won't regret it.

Yelp
The blueberry fritter was amazing! Glad we stopped here for donuts. Nice happy people greeted us early Saturday morning.

Zack A.

Yelp
I love Happy Donut, the donuts ate delicious and the staff is very friendly. I have to stop when I am in in Oregon.
google avatar

Yelp
To sum it up: A really nice stop in an area of I-5 with not much else on it. Fresh, tasty donuts. It doesn't look like much from outside (or inside even), but we tried 4 different kinds between us. 2 types of fritters, a chocolate old fashioned and a cake. All tasty. They also have an eating challenge here for those who are so inclined. Basically, if you can eat a fritter that is about the size of one of their trays (probably at least 2x2 feet) you get it free. There are lots of pics of previous contestants on the wall.

Yelp
They moved...but we found them! Yes great donuts!!! 684 S. Main St., Myrtle OR Fresh soft & tastiest donuts I have ever had.

Erica A.

Yelp
I've heard so many great things so I drove 30 min to try and they were closed when online it said open... I was driving by another time and oh surprise, they were open! They were ok, not great, not bad... not worth driving 30 min for though.

Traci B.

Yelp
Wonderful customer service and the donuts are amazing. I highly recommend this for homemade and great tasting donuts.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
Less than 30 seconds off the highway, great donuts and fritters and a high turnover so everything is always fresh. If you're driving by at any time of day you owe it to yourself to stop by, trust me you'll be glad you did. I loved the buttermilk bars, the blueberry donut holes/fritter things and the old fashioned cake donuts. In fact the blueberry thingies were so good we got a bag to take with us for friends back home. Sadly for our friends, but happy for us, they didn't survive the drive home.
google avatar

Susan T.

Yelp
We had good donuts here a few years ago, so stopped while traveling on I-5. No donuts for us today though, as we did not feel safe to go in. Imagine posting a sign welcoming guns in a community that has suffered so much from the same. Will not be stopping by again.
google avatar

Jordan C.

Yelp
We try to go here on the weekends for a treat for my kids and when we go we're never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the donuts are amazing! Having just moved here we wanted to keep our outings the same and I'm so glad I found the Happy Donut they remind us of home.
google avatar

Angie R.

Yelp
Best donuts ever! They are always fresh, soft and absolutely delicious! This is a must stop for all. They even give you a small bag of donut holes for your dog as a doggie sweet treat.

Yelp
Used to stop in there at the old place least once a week. Since moving to Costa Rica in 2013 I have discovered what good coffee really tastes like. I now live in San Marcos de Tarazu in the heart of the coffee growing region/ Even Starbucks obtains the most expensive coffee they sell from here. Britt coffee is another but fact is the real source of the best coffee is known as Dota selling to the rest. Should the owner of Happy Donut be interested I can hook him up to by directly from the owner of Data. along with the authorization to have the coffee labeled under his own name. No charge on my part, I am retired and have all the income I desire. Enough that I have homes in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua and travel Internationally one month out of three. Most often to Ecuador and Peru. I fly to the US about twice a year. Chicago is $413 round trip, Phoenix and Tucson both under $340 round trip. Hostels here are $6 to $14, hotels $24 to out of site high if you go to to a Hilton. In 2004 I had a root canal and crown done in Roseburg. The same procedure here costs $170. But I have medical insurance covering 100% including dental for both wife and self for $60 a month that replaced my Medicare B covering maybe 80% and costing $318 a month. That covers the $220 a month rent for my 3 bedroom/2 bath house and electric of $10 monthly and $3 water bill, with a bit left over. My other home is Leon Nicaragua where I rent an 8 bedroom/6 bah house fully furnished and including utilities for $300 a month. Its in a gated community in the best part of the city and includes a club and gym with Olympic pool, 18 hole golf course and skeet range.

Yelp
This place is great... they have the great old fashion doughnuts. ....way better than Crispy Creme doughnut. Good plain coffee.. no need for foo coffee the doughnut are great.
google avatar

Yelp
The Happy Donut has melt in your mouth donuts and the best apple fritters around. Friendly people who treat their customers the best. Stop by... I go there once a week on my way to Medford.
google avatar

Yelp
Great, FRESH donuts. The service was friendly and the bathroom was clean. A great pit stop on the drive back to the Bay Area.
google avatar

Kelli J.

Yelp
Not to be missed! Best glazed twist I've ever had! Soft and not too sweet! Two sweet girls waited on us on a Sunday morning. Happy Donuts = Happy Customers!
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
Love! Sometimes they run out of my favorite early in the morning, but still a great place. Clean. Great service. Delicious donuts. Wide variety available.

Randy C.

Yelp
Great donuts! Get there early as they purposely will be low on stock as closing time approaches to ensure we get fresh ones each day! Living only a few miles away I am unsure how I do not weigh 500 lbs. I enjoy the daily specials as do my coworkers when i surprise them on occasion.
google avatar

Daytona S.

Yelp
Hope you're in the mood for a glazed doughnut because as plain as it is, it's delicious, very good, but one of the five or so doughnuts offered here. My first thought was, "Are they not open yet?" There's plenty of counter space, but only one case of doughnuts. It's a big store! Where are all the doughnuts!? Are they hiding somewhere? Your other options are glazed maple, glazed chocolate topped, glazed maple bacon topped, and a crispy baguette. There are a few filled doughnuts, but they are of the glazed variety. There's also vanilla cake with the above mentioned toppings. Cinnamon roll, and frosted cinnamon roll are also available. Asking for anything else may get you a blank stare, like these doughnut options have never been heard of. I wanted a chocolate cake doughnut. I might as well have just walked into the store naked after getting out of my hot air balloon. Then had to explain there are doughnuts in this world that are made of chocolate cake. Maybe because it's a small town, they don't want the extra expense of adding variety, which I understand, so they carry the local favourites and the locals in this town are strange, not like the Hills Have Eyes, but definitely along the lines of Deliverance. This town had some goofy locals. If you are a cute single girl, you may want to carry an uzi in your purse. If you're of the not-cute, attention seeking variety, who likes being stared at while she eats and licks frosting, definitely get off the exit here.

S B.

Yelp
They are NEVER OPEN!!!!! Both times were during their scheduled hours of operation. Nobody there:(
