"When you sit down for brunch at The Hattery Stove and Still, you’ll be treated to sweet and savory starters, such as crab beignets, a chicken and waffle offering, tiramisu gnocchi, and short rib onion soup. When it’s time for the main course, the shrimp and grits, huevos rancheros, and eggs Benedict special may pique your interest. Order your favorite cocktail or zero-proof beverage from the full bar for a complete meal." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

"It might be inside a historic inn, but this is no fuddy-duddy restaurant. Inside, it's stylish with loads of natural light and big windows; it's also a prime spot for people watching. The menu swings between a couple poles: there American dishes (barbecued chicken, chicken pot pie) as well as French-accented plates (bone marrow escargot, mussels marinières). It's the kind of place that is made for weekends when you a little extra time to linger over your plate and absorb the scene around you." - Nancy DePalma

Practically perfect. Food was excellent. Surf and turf was excellent. Good beer selection. Service was attentive. Ambience is classy but not still casual and not uptight at all. I love this place. The only downside is the menu doesn't have much of a selection, but at least it seems like everything on it is really good.

A great find. Nice staff, great food, relaxed quaint, turn of the century vibe. Lots of wood, brass, and a plethora of chandeliers! It is connected to the Doylestown Inn. Nice beer selection, with sparkling wine on tap. The wine list is small but well curated. Will need to visit again.

We had both Dinner and Breakfast here while staying at the Doylestown Inn. Both were excellent !! The staff were polite and helpful. We both had great meals each time, and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great place to start or finish your day in Doylestown. The Hattery Stove & Still is in the Doylestown Inn whate we stayed for the weekend. Super friendly staff and great drinks and food. Breakfast was one of are favorite's. Stop by for a drink or tidbit while walking and shopping in town. Will definitely be back for more great food and atmosphere!!!

The ambiance is delightful and the food is pretty good. Quaint little spot on the main thoroughfare inside the old hotel. The staff was friendly but seemed to be a little inattentive during our visit. The biscuits and gravy starter was spectacular. The serving size was perfect, and the gravy was particularly well seasoned. We had Huevos Rancheros which were well proportioned, but the black bean mole was a bit overpowering at times. We also ordered the pork belly Cubano which was overall not bad, but could definitely have improved with a little more acidity from some added mustard. Worth a trip in for sure.

Tasty, fancy pants food. I had the fried chicken thigh sandwich topped with bacon and egg. Good fries! I'd like to stay in the old hotel above the restaurant on a weekend getaway, if only to have more time to peruse the used bookstore across the street that we browsed through while waiting for our table to open up. #SitDownStandOut Visited 5/26/25.

What a cool place. The atmosphere is really nice with so many chandeliers. The wait staff and bartenders are all very nice and knowledgeable. You mist get the deviled eggs. The Dijon cream is so good.
