We came here before a few minutes closing, and every single cart was closed, except for fresh and funky, which was absolutely delicious, do not sleep on there next level veggie burger. It’s homemade! The bar was open, but only beer and shots were available. We totally understand and we were not made to rush as we enjoyed ourfood and drink on the patio while they close up around us. Tons of space, both indoor and outdoor and lots of great options.

Google
This place had been on my list to check out for a while now and I wish I had gone sooner. Plenty of outdoor seating and a massive indoor area with a bar serving beer, wine, and great cocktails. We went on a Friday and there was live music. The band was great. The food options are amazing. We ordered 3 things just to share/try and there were still 4 other carts we want to try (next time!). One of the best parts?! While you're eating at tables we had servers come to us and take our drink orders instead of us going inside to the bar. So convenient. They were very attentive.

Google
Namo Buddha hands down has the best vegan dumplings in town. I’ve tried nearly every spot that serves Nepali/Himalayan-style dumplings, and these are my favorites so far. The quality is consistently excellent, and they use high-quality ingredients with a unique flair. The tomato sauce that comes with it is incredibly tasty. They also have an excellent noodle dish worth trying.

Google
Great atmosphere! The character of the old US Bank is retained with a wonderful bar and good seating, inside and out. There is even a good coffee bar where the old ATM was. Excellent food choices! The Greek cart is what we enjoyed.

Google
Excellent food carts and fun concept. We tried the burger cart and the sushi cart. Fantastic service, food was delicious and the atmosphere really clean. There were so many great food cart options that we definitely have to come back and try: waffles, churro desserts, crepes, BBQ, thai, and so much more.

Google
Visited The Heist for the first time this past Saturday and it was so nice to see it super busy! There’s a ton of food carts to choose from, including Bake on the Run, Don Bigote, Golden Triangle, Ali’s Hot Chicken, Bark City BBQ, and so much more. We took our dog and were happy to see a few dog water and poop bag stations. Highly recommend this food cart pod.

Google
This food cart pod was designed well. They have a large interior section with garage style doors that can open up as well as outdoor seating available. They also have a pinball room for people to play as well as a little Vault room to explore. They also have a good variety of carts here as well as an indoor bar.

Google
Great food cart pod with bar in the Woodstock neighborhood. The main building is an old bank and they've kept that as a theme. I had the beef Gyro from the Shwarma Spot and it was delicious and from the bar, I had a vodka, cucumber & lime drink that was delicious!

Yelp
This place is epic!! Great atmosphere and lots of choices. Tons of seating and dog friendly! Live music and the inside is amazing! Will def be back! Pod owners are so awesome too!

Yelp
OMG! The referb that they did is pretty impressive. An ex bank branch in Woodstock is now a nice, comfortable, classy place to have a meal and drinks. It should be a must for all seeking a warm and dry place to enjoy a plethora of delicious food and drinks

Yelp
This is a specific review for Premiere Hibachi. I went up to the window to order a beef bento box. The young woman taking orders was completely overwhelmed. She seemed to be having a hard time with the credit card reader and was not able to figure it out. Customers were waiting, and could see that she was VERY stressed. I had complete empathy and tried to see if I could help, but there was a communication breakdown. I went back to my table and waited 15 minutes and after that, returned to the truck to find another small group trying to order and the young woman continuing to struggle, I felt SO badly for her. Eventually, I was able to get back to the window and my order was there waiting. Phew!

Yelp
How can we make ALL food cart areas this cozy? Brilliant canopy setup to protect against the elements. We had the absolute best time here. Food was amazing. The wait was about 20-30 minutes for food but worth the wait. Very kid friendly. Some dog owners let their dogs off leash and roam. Not ideal when folks are trying to enjoy a meal and young kids are running around. Dogs were jumping up and being a little pushy for food. To be clear, I have three dogs and LOVE when areas are dog friendly. We love dogs I just don't think letting them roam around food and young children is the wisest/safest choice...

Yelp
A great food truck pod in a great neighborhood. The food was excellent and fairly priced, but I wish there was a cooler seating option and better control over who was coming into the space - being panhandled to while eating was not a great experience.

Yelp
This may come This may come as some surprise But I serve food I could indict you Culinary crimes Sentenced to serve you She takes the loot But it doesn't feel like crime He tastes cuisines Her dishes are sublime They're sublime He makes Surely she can give what I'm feasting on She makes Surely she helps us chow down Is it The Heist Is it The Heist? Where I still want food And I want you to want food too My Pod is wider Wider than Crater Lake My Carts are cultured Cultured chorus with Sade It's crime and it's love And it ripples like the Willamette I can give Woodstock tourists Or an intimate tête-à-tête Is it The Heist Is it The Heist? Guilty pleasure food Pardoned by gratitude Tell me Is it The Heist?

Yelp
This pod is very comfortable and we love being able to conveniently stroll over for a beer and some food. There are plenty of nice seating areas, covered with lighting and heat. Great drink selection and many trucks to choose from. The kids love it as well.

Yelp
This is a review of Premier Hibachi. The truck was in good condition with no observed issues or concerns. We ordered the orange chicken bento, spicy chicken bento, vegetable gyoza and vegetable egg rolls. The gentleman who took the order was all business and took my order and gave me a beeper. We waited a reasonable amount of time and we were given our food and o drove home - 10 minutes. I'm used to an orange chicken with a sauce that is sweet and orange flavor. This didn't have a sauce but maybe a slight orange flavor to the chicken. There was also a crust to the chicken that was a little tough to bit through. The inside of the chicken was tender and tasted good. The edamame and salad were both good and the ginger was great. The spicy chicken had the same tough outer layer and spice was ok. The gyoza was really good as was the veggie egg rolls. The food truck pod space is great and seating covered now that the weather is getting drippier. This food was ok. I would eat other food coming back here.

Yelp
This place is completely fine! Food trucks are balanced, perfect for groups with different tastes. The seating area though is very jammed so if you have bikes or strollers you want to keep safe it's gonna be tight. My huge complaint is w the bar. They have cocktails and beer and wine. I get wine wherever I go, and glasses were $11 which is steep but ok for something random not something I'd really thought thru and picked out. Just $11 for the wine option (house wine ... every other bar anywhere is 7-8 for house wine in PDX). Then Of course I can see they are draining it from a bag. Bagged slappa the box wine for $11. I mean I don't hate box wine, there are plenty of good ones, but you can't just charge a high price bc your cocktails are 14 and it seems you have to charge more for wine. Just give ppl a deal. Like 8$ max absolute max if you are pouring me wine from a box. Come on. You can't just randomly charge that much if the wine isn't anything real. Ugh will pack my own (lol) if I come back here - shh don't tell but also just be aware the bar is way overpriced!

Yelp
Incredible place to lounge and have dinner. I've taken family and friends here for lunches and dinners, and it's relaxing and cool in the shaded areas. The barbecue and the sushi vendors remain our favorites!

Yelp
Tasty - have tried out the Indian , Himalayan, Waffle cart... ingredients good just that the portions-to-price ratio not the greatest... we don't mind the pricing so much as small portions .. Pictured is the Nepalese thali plate ( chicken curry option) paired with garlic naan from the Indian cart )

Carmel S.

Yelp
Food at Premier Hibachi was overpriced for what I ordered. The fried rice was mushy and not at all what I expected, and the vegetables in it tasted boiled rather than fried. Food looked entirely different from the pictures on the food cart. Shrimp was okay, but the rest wasn't at all what it was marketed as. Disappointing.

Yelp
Well, they were brand new from what I could tell (the food pod JUST opened) the guy working the truck was super nice! I liked him a lot. The food wasn't bad, our problem was that we didn't eat it right away. We were overwhelmed with all the options within the brand new entire food pod. Needless to say we ordered from more than one place. That being said, we shouldn't have reheated the protein we bought. The sides were 3.5 out of 5. Protein was 3, however I think it would have been a lot better fresh. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time but the recommendation is that it is worth trying but eat there or soon after. I will try it again.

Yelp
The food choices are excellent, from a smash burgers to poke bowls to waffles and It's always clean with plenty of seating choices. Good beer selection too.

Yelp
My favorite addition to Woodstock in a long time! A beautiful cart pod with warm outdoor covered dining, nice bathrooms, and lots of delicious options. Favorites: smash burgers from Fresh 'n Funky, tacos from El Jefe, and corndogs/fries for the kiddos from the Philly cheesesteak place. Oh and the green papaya salad from the Thai cart. Honestly haven't had a miss and have eaten at nearly every cart by now!

Yelp
Hello! Here's my constructive feedback ~ What's Great About The Heist: 1) Attentive cleaning staff! 2) Fun theme, shaded space. 3) Great location! What Could've Been Better: 1) It would be great if a veggie combo platter & meat combo was offered instead of $15. 1 item plates at some of the places. & $8. for a cider :/ ...Happy Hour anyone? 2) Speaking as an ally, Your private, clean, *one-person restrooms are great! but it doesn't feel inclusive. Here it feels more dog-friendly than people-friendly :/ Your toilets are designed for all genders, not these door signs. Please change. 3) And we could use more wiggle room in between picnic table seating. ~ Looking forward to seeing some improvements.

Yelp
The Heist: A cool new food cart pod on Woodstock with lots of variety. 15 Food carts and a bar.

Yelp
Great food cart pod in an area that had few to no food carts before! It totally is filling a need in the neighborhood! I've tried the Waffle cart and P53 so far and both have been an absolute delight, and reasonably priced. One thing I love is how many vegetarian options the pod brings to the area. I was overwhelmed with options, which is a luxury! The environment was super clean, felt very welcoming, and I look forward to checking out the inside area once it's open. I enjoy this food cart pod so much that I am writing this review on my birthday, and will be bringing my family to check out the pod for my birthday dinner later. Cheers! Excited to see this place grow!

Yelp
I've not been much of a food cart guy - until I tried The Heist. High quality food, clean area, excellent range from vegan to BBQ. Full bar and beers, great seating area. I had spicy Thai vegetable stirfry with basil and shrimp and rice. It was $16 but enough for two meals and the fact that I did not have to deal with the expectation of a 25 to 30% tip was nice. A great addition to the neighborhood. Thanks!

Yelp
I went to Wasabi Sushi and got a beer at the bar. I had the Spider B-Ritto ($15), the Tuna (ahi) and Salmon donut, filled with crab ($8), and the Sea Breeze (seaweed) Salad ($3). It was a 92 degree Saturday at 3pm, so there were plenty of tables free at Heist. I ordered an excellent beer (Gigantic's Cloudberries Hazy IPA: $7). The bar counter said they're hoping for indoor seating by January 2024. The softshell crab B-Ritto is like a roll, but bigger and just split in half, so you eat it with your hands. There's a little wasabi and pickled ginger, and soy is available. It was also rolled in popped rice, which improved the texture, IMO. I appreciated that, as there was surprisingly little crunch from the softshell crab itself (though there was also surimi crab). The portion and amounts of ingredients were good, and everything really fresh (avo/cuke/lettuce/eel sauce), but I wanted more tempura crunch, and more eel sauce, so I'd get the regular roll next time. The salmon and ahi on the donut, and surimi crab inside it, were also as fresh as could be. It's served on a sheet of nori, but there was no wasabi or ginger(!), they didn't put the red cabbage on it, like in the picture--NOR was the donut made with imperial black rice. Disappointed about all that. Still, it was worth $8. FYI, because I know you all want to know, like I did: why are the two fried donuts called "sushi" donuts, if, as it appears on the menu, they're just fried rice in a donut shape? ANSWER: because you can ask to have either (the regular or the Cheeto dusted) *filled with crab or spicy tuna* (or not) for the same $7! I'll do that next time! I only didn't because I was already getting something fried. The best deal there was the $3 seaweed salad. A bigger and more flavorful portion than you'd get for $3 anywhere. I mean anywhere. Really tasty and well balanced recipe! Bottom line: Wasabi Sushi puts to bed the stigma of unfresh food truck sushi. Friendly counter service too. I give it 4.5 stars (lost .5 for everything missing on the donut), but always round up on Yelp. I also appreciate the Heist space, with several trucks I want to try, and look forward to indoor seating in 2024.

Yelp
Oh I love this place. So many flavors in so small an Area. Check out the Himalayan cart. Speaking from the perspective of a person who is not accustomed to eating vegan the vegan curry bowl here is amazing. It is one of the very rare places I have had vegan fare and found it to be 100% satisfying. It is an amazingly intricate curry, that blends textures and subtle flavors in such a way as to be unique and completely delicious. It tastes amazing and truly satisfies oh and your arteries will thank you. For those of you that like little blue pills and early onset diabetes there are many carts that cater to the American tendency towards poor health and bodily acceptance or whatever we are re branding excessive consumption of dessert themed breakfast cereals this week. I cover most of a half marathon a day and I eat this at least three times a week. It is loaded with protein and healthy carbs, plus that much needed rounding out of a wide selection of both fresh and stir fried vegetables. Also the stir fry is amazing. Absolutely perfect every time with no mushy vegetables. Every single bite is a mixture of savory with slightly sweet hints and delicious fresh veggies for crunch amidst the other textures. It fires on all cylinders and is one of the very few things that can keep my appetites out of the animal realm for long. For those of you that are looking forward to erectile dysfunction however, there are also many places that will happily shill for that grass fed health beef nonsense also.

Yelp
I really want to love this pod, but most of the food options are overpriced for the likes of my wallet. If I'm going to drop this kind of money on a meal, I would probably just hit up a full service, sit-down restaurant instead. I'm very disappointed because I was so excited for it to come to our neighborhood.

Yelp
So many great places to eat. We have been to the cheesesteak cart, the cart that has the gyros, and the cart that has the bento boxes. Each of them were good.

Yelp
Horrible service but great atmosphere Took my entire lunch break to receive my sausage dog and fries . Fries came out soggy and sausage tasted old !
google avatar

Dun G.

Yelp
Wow this is the worst ramen I've ever had!! The broth and noodles were mediocre at best. But the meat? HORRIBLE. It isn't chashu at all. It was little, hard, rectangles of basically jerky. Horrible. I threw it away.
google avatar

Yelp
My girlfriend and I have been to many pods in Portland and find this one to be the best! I was pleasantly surprised with the exceptional range of cuisines. Seating, with umbrellas, is ample, with plans to provide indoor seating in the future. Really amped over the quality overall!
google avatar

Yelp
Great carts in Woodstock. Some of them are mediocre but there are a lot of great options, and the beer selection is great.

Yelp
Good location, live music, lots of seating area, some food carts are good, some offer a questionable quality. I wish Korean or African food carts park here!!! Please!!

Teddi C.

Yelp
Lots of good choices and some of the better seating choices of ay cart experience. They are supposed to soon have indoor seating. I highly recommend the Heist food cart scene.
google avatar

Mark H.

Yelp
Ordered from hibachi cart. Ordered shrimp and scallops, got home and it was beef and scallops, the beef was all grizzle and so tough, I fed it to my dog. The cut of meat they used needs braising, so I basically got a container of rice, with a few chewy scallops for $20. Felt cheated
google avatar

Garner M.

Yelp
Great collection of carts and a fun atmosphere. They clearly spent some time selecting good food cart vendors. We liked the theme of the pod with the armored truck next to the eating area.

Yelp
Shawarma spot was awesome food it's one of the most amazing food places I been too Ahmed made the food it was really good compared to other places I been too

Yelp
Many food options! Lots of seating too. A bit sad that they close pretty early for summer time :( other than that I am definitely going again!

Teddi C.

Yelp
It was a hot day so we wondered if it would be comfortable and also if it would be crowded. if you go around to the back of the bank there is a very nice shaded seating area, that is quite cool. There was only a moderate amount of people, I think because this is a new place. Great choice of food. It was hard to pick. My husband had the brisket and raved about the flavor and tenderness. What I wanted from one of the carts they were out of, so I had chicken stir fry and gyoza. Very good, especially the gyoza. Our friend had pad Thai. He asked for Thai hot, but he said it wasn't that hot, however it was tasty and a very generous portion. He will had leftovers. There are so many things to try. We can't wait to go back. Indian food will be my next choice.

Thatcher L.

Yelp
Good food, excellent service, and a variety of foods, great atmosphere for people and dogs. My favorite was the caterpillar sushi roll.

Chris P.

Yelp
Great addition to Woodstock. We tried the Indian Rasoi Food Cart. Ordered Chicken Korma and Lamb Tikka Masala, both meals came with rice. It was amazing, will definitely try everything else on their menu. We will also try the other Food Carts over the coming weeks....Chinese, Thai, BBQ, Waffles etc

Holly D.

Yelp
Ok. Ok. I ordered from six carts on a Thursday afternoon so the tables were mostly empty but I certainly wasn't alone. First. The grounds were spotless(so it's new... Let's keep it up everyone). Very pleasant background music. Plenty of shade and clearly prepared for Oregon weather. Everyone was friendly?! What is that about?! I'm so used to people being grumpy I forgot what it was like. Menus are clear, big with great pictures. Carts are beautiful and conveniently arranged. Every vendor has a hand held buzzer system when your order is ready . Yep. I had six of them at one time. Most were labeled on the back so I could tell what was ready . I found the prices very reasonable. I mean, a Chicago Dog WITH a bunch of great fries for $8.00. Spring rolls for $6.00 the same size as my regular place which charges 9.50. Cucumber salad, Vegetable Tikka Masala, churro banana split, tofu bento box...and plenty of options for drinks.... It seems the Heist has taken the best of the food cart world and rolled it into Woodstock. It's a good thing too. Lots of new people moving in. Oh and that is another and most important feature. I felt safe the whole time I was there. Not a small issue these days. Well done everyone! I'll be back!
