The food was good enough overall, without many highlights for me to say that they were exceptional. Some of the dishes had minimal stuff in them that my friend felt the need to ask for additional sides to make them complete plates. We also tried their passionfruit and mango mimosas, and we both agreed that the mango and passionfruit flavors were not potent enough.
I ordered the huevos divorciados, which had pretty good salsa roja and salsa verde. Everything else was pretty standard, with black beans, over medium eggs, pico de gallo, and queso fresco as some of the other ingredients. Overall the flavor was there for sure, albeit not much beyond good. My friend enjoyed her French toast, which had challah bread, whipped butter, and maple syrup, which are some classic ingredients that are used for this dish. Once again, it was conventionally good with not much to highlight.
We shared an avocado toast as well, and it was okay. The poached egg was a bit overcooked, and there were too many mixed greens and not enough avocado mixture. In general, we enjoyed this place enough to recommend it to people and to return here if around the area.
