15 Best Charlotte, North Carolina, Coffee Shops | Eater Carolinas

"The Hobbyist is a coffee and bottle shop, and while right off of busy North Davidson Street in a modern shopping center, it’s leisurely and etched with character inside. It’s situated like a long corridor, with draping plants, local knick-knacks and tables at the front, bar stools and wine racks in the middle, and cozy couches and vintage art in the back. The coffee drinks here are made from specialty Boone roaster Hatchet Coffee. The salty-sweet black walnut latte and brown sugar pumpkin latte are must-trys this fall, and the abundant local tea selections from the Memoire are blended beauties. Also, the mugs to stay are a generous size and there’s free wifi — two little wins. On Mondays, get $1 off drip coffee, because every dollar counts in the costly coffee world. The Hobbyist is open until 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. on weekends, which means when the caffeine craving hits no matter the time, this is the spot." - Kayleigh Ruller

Google
What a great coffee house, wine, beer and cocktails. Such a lovely aesthetic and cozy comfy and neighborhood (Noda)atmosphere. We loved it and the huge ‘Cinnamon Roll’ plus a perfect ‘Flat White’ ♥️☕️♥️ what a great start to this day !!

Google
I always judge a coffee shop off its iced oat milk lattes, and unfortunately this one was a bit on the weak side. The espresso itself seemed to have a good flavor, but I felt like it was just one shot short of being well-balanced with the oat milk. I’d love to come back and try it hot or with an extra shot to see if that improves it! Aside from that, I had a fig & orange muffin (crazy delicious), and the bottle shop and atmosphere was fantastic! It had lots of folks hanging out even on a monday evening, and their wine and beer selection was very impressive. There was a great mix of folks working on their laptops and just hanging out, so the environment is definitely a blend of work and chill. Shoutout to the super friendly barista as well! The whole cafe really was lovely, so I do wish the coffee had followed suit. Maybe next time!

Google
Really good whole milk latte. Beautiful latte art: a swan! Barrister was very welcoming. The music wasn't too loud. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside. There is a parking lot behind the building.

Google
A Cozy Gem That’s Perfect for Work & Catch-Ups** I’m definitely in my coffee shop phase, so finding The Hobbyist was a total win. I stopped by to meet up with a colleague and chat through some work, and the **atmosphere was so inviting** that we ended up staying well past our planned hour. We both ordered lattes, which were smooth and well-crafted. There’s plenty of seating, but I can see how it might get crowded during peak hours—so don’t be surprised if you end up sharing a table. The **staff was friendly**, and the overall vibe really sparked creativity and focus. The Hobbyist has officially been added to my coffee shop rotation. Whether you’re working, meeting a friend, or just want a quality cup in a cozy setting, this spot delivers.

Google
Vanilla Flat White and Cheddar Biscuit are a must - 5 stars all around!! Tons of indoor and outdoor seating and staff are great as well!

Noel Fichtner

Google
I get a cappuccino every time I come in, and it never disappoints! The quality is always consistent, and the espresso has such rich, smooth notes. It’s genuinely delicious every single time. Easily one of my favorite spots for coffee.

Google
I’m slowly starting to love the hobbyist. They have unique lattes, great aesthetic’s, drinks, and very kind staff. Just beware, it gets really crowded in here, sometimes to the point where you can’t find somewhere comfortable to sit. Also keep in mind there might not be an outlet where you are sitting, or the seating arrangement wont be comfortable to do work (like use a computer or write something). I loved the black walnut latte. I was really not a fan of the butter sage latte.

Leigh

Google
I love the atmosphere but it was packed so wasn’t able to stay, and that’s OK. Not their fault. I gave the low rating because the cinnamon roll isn’t as advertised and was hard as a rock, cold and no icing. And they also don’t have silverware if we were able to stay and eat. Coffees are tiny.

Yelp
This was my first time back here in years. I thoroughly enjoyed it this visit. I came by with a friend to catch up over coffee, it was late in the day so I decided to get their decaf lavender latte. It was as beautiful as it was delicious. I also ordered a topo chico. We sat outside on this gorgeous day, until it got too chilly and we moved inside. Their inside area is super cute with funky seating and long couch type chairs. This was super fun and comfortable. It's shared sitting style so there were some folks sitting nearby that we didn't know and it was so intimate you couldn't even tell. There was a really great musician playing the guitar and singing live. They were doing an amazing job with various genres and music selections. It really helped to create a ice vibe. We stayed here for like 3 hours. It was a great time!

Yelp
Cute spot for hang out, work, or a date. Their coffeehouse can get pretty crowded on rush times so definitely carpool since parking spots are limited Their seasonal drinks always hit the spot. Recently favorite is their black walnut. For evening, they always have great wine and beverage selections

Yelp
This café is cozy and perfect for hanging out with friends. The atmosphere is nice and makes you feel comfortable. You can come here to work or just chat with friends. On Fridays, they have live music which adds to the fun. I recommend trying their Irish coffee--it's delicious! Their chocolate muffins are also really good. Another tasty option is the black walnut latte. It's a unique flavor that you might enjoy. They also have a good selection of craft beers and wines. So whether you're into coffee or alcohol, they have something for everyone.

Yelp
This cafe was not busy, though it had an interesting industrial ambiance. The pastry selection was small, and my partially warmed danish was fine but didn't impress. Neither did my chai, which didn't hit any particularly noticeable flavor note. They had some more creative seasonal drinks, so maybe I missed out, but what I ordered out of a smallish selection was just okay and I wondered if I could have done better.

Yelp
I love this place so much. I've visited here multiple times over the years when I've come to visit my sis, but I'm here for a bit now, and I've loved the service, ambiance, and taste of my drinks and food (yummy pastries) whenever I come here. So, this is def my go-to place for mimosas and getting some work done, particularly on the weekends. It's awesome that (at least currently) they have a deal of $3 mimosas on Sundays. Will keep me coming on Sundays, because I def only came back on Sunday because I was there Saturday (will make this my weekend place if they keep this up). Plus their coffee is so yummy and worth stopping by for on the weekdays. You can work on what you need to and grab a coffee or something, and no one will bother you other than to check if you need anything once in a while. Make this your go-to work place if you are more of a nomad like I am currently! Great coffee and pastries and reliable wifi! Also, the service has been nothing but great. Every person I've dealt with has been nothing but kind, and honestly, a lot of them go a little over the top of what they have to. Many times they bring my drink directly to me even though they could just call my drink order from the bar. And they have a very fair proportion of sparkling wine to orange juice at this place. My number one irritation with mimosas is when they are mostly orange juice, and this place is not like that at all. You will get a fair proportion of wine and orange juice in your mimosa that makes this place worth coming back to again and again. For ambiance, it's mostly pretty quiet, which is great for working. When it's at its busiest, it can get a little louder, but I always bring my Bose quiet comfort headphones in when that happens. It honestly only seems to happen during the busiest times that you can see on Google (e.g., today on a Sunday, it's been busiest from about 2:30 PM to currently 4:42 PM), but I've had a grand time still, particularly with my headphones. But even when I don't wear my headphones, you can always sit closer to the back where people usually don't sit. It's much quieter there. Overall, such a lovely place to get some work done or read, get some coffee or mimosas, and just chill with a relaxed feeling that you're so very welcome here. Come and stop by!

Yelp
The hobbyist is such a vibe! It's the perfect little coffee shop and super cozy! The music is great. Wi-Fi is free with a purchase! You have the options to purchase wines, cocktails, coffees, and pastries. Their matcha is sooooo good! & honestly ...for it to be a "coffee shop"... don't shy away from getting a cocktail!! The Aperol spritz was amazzzzing. It was more on the sweeter side and honestly made perfect! The only thing that I do suggest is that you bring your computer charged. Seating in the middle obviously has no access to outlets..and it was pretty packed. Nonetheless, 10/10!

Yelp
Absolutely adore this place - it's always a treat to visit! Ambiance is great, service is friendly, and I've enjoyed everything I've tried. On more recent trips I've ordered their espresso and espresso martinis! It's fun to get a drink and shop around. They have a great selection of beer and wine to go, a selection of coffee, and other trinkets like mugs, snacks... there are a lot of options here. It does tend to be busy during the day time with people working or hanging out in groups. It's always worth it to squeeze in and find a spot. I wish we had more spots like this in Charlotte!
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
Back because I still love this place and I forgot to mention that they have the absolute best seasonal coffee items. There are always about 4-5 seasonal options on the menu. One of my favorite year-round options is the lavender vanilla. It's like drinking a freaking hug!
google avatar

Amanda G.

Yelp
So cute! I've only been twice: once for a coffee to go and another to hang out and chat. What a cute place to relax and chat with friends or do some computer work! The baristas are so friendly and the coffee is delicious. Service was pretty quick both times! Definitely recommend if you're in the area
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot for coffee. Cool atmosphere and lots of great items to choose from. Came to get some work done and was really happy with my experience here!
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
Coffee was 5 stars, but the scone I ordered bumped it down. I got the black walnut latte with macadamia milk and it was lovely. Would order again any day. The berry scone on the other hand... looked amazing, but dry as a bone. Skip the pastries and just get coffee here!

Yelp
I really loved this coffee shop for the vibes! It has an earthy, vintage style with lots of plants and antique decor mixed with trendy and new furniture. There are lots of spots to sit and hang out. It had a very large wine and beer section (slightly over priced) and a nice coffee bar with a few bakery items. I wanted to love the coffee so bad because I really loved the shop itself. Sadly, my latte was overly milky and it was hard to taste the coffee. I will give them the benefit of the doubt though that it was an off pour, because I'd love to check them out again. The staff were nice and friendly.
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
Coffee drinks were pretty good, but it took a reaaaaaally long time for our drinks to come out--we were done exploring the cute little market area, the cool decor, finding a place to sit and taking silly pics/chatting and not even one drink was out yet. They also clearly forgot about our poptart, but they stuck it in the toaster oven when we mentioned it. In hindsight, the poptart was not a good decision as the pastry was very bland and the texture was powdery/crumbly. We had a debate on whether this was a vegan pastry or not, but honestly, I've had vegan GF pop tarts way better than this (I can name you at least 2 places off the top of my head right now) so no excuse there. We weren't wow'd, but the coffee did the trick and gave us enough umph to continue with our day.

Yelp
Delicious drinks with A+++ vibes inside. Quality coffee and great bottle shop selection of wines and craft beers!!
google avatar

Angie C.

Yelp
Came here as I was waiting for a friend to pick me up. This was such an adorable and cozy coffee shop! The furniture and decor were modern and trendy. The menu was simple, yet offered a variety of the main coffee types. I went in late September, so I of course ordered a seasonal fall drink. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. The ratio of espresso and milk was perfection. The flavor mixed with the espresso beautifully complimented each other. I have nothing bad to say about this place!
google avatar

Chelsea R.

Yelp
This coffee shop has it all! They have the vibes, the coffee, the wine, and the goodies! I, of course, got a honey lavender latte bc I can't stop, won't stop. Thankful for a sweet friend for bringing me here when I asked for a cool coffee shop first thing in the morning.
google avatar

Hunter G.

Yelp
Also a solid choice. This is "coffee shop" is definitely on a louder side so come prepared if you're looking to be work done. Very lively for a Friday afternoon with not much available seating but 2 open seats at the work were perfect
google avatar

Iwona A.

Yelp
Ambiance is great. One of the few cafes in Charlotte that open until later. Great place to study and work. Drinks are overpriced though. They have parking in the back, which is nice
google avatar

Stef L.

Yelp
Most underrated coffee shop in Charlotte. I might be bias because this place is in our neighborhood. Went there on a Friday night, there was live Jazz music and tons of drink options. If there is nothing on tap for you, you can choose from plenty of bottles and cans in their bottle shop. Everything was 10/10 and we are definitely back for their $3 mimosas on Sundays.

Deanna M.

Yelp
I've been to a lot of coffee shops and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I immediately took note of the vibe; great place to chill, have drinks, and get some work done. The staff is so nice and attentive. I'm traveling from HTX for the weekend and came straight from the airport with my luggage & they looked out for me when it was time to close. Knowing I was from out of town, they made sure I got in my Uber and off to my next destination. Great espresso martini & wine recommendations. I'll be back :) *Cheers

Yelp
Hello Yelp fam!! I wanted to give love to this local coffee/bar shop in NoDa! I was blown away by the atmosphere, prices and staff. Nate was even kind enough to bring my boyfriend his cortado after we forgot about it (Fresh's and remade!!!!). SO happy to have stumbled across this treasure. Even walking in just now to say goodbye, he's talking to each and every customer. Will absolutely be back!!

Yelp
Great ambiance, a great vibe and atmosphere than any coffee shop in Charlotte. I would rate the latte the 2nd best in Charlotte but 1st choice for overall experience at atmosphere. I would definitely recommend here, service was super hospitable as well. Great location !
google avatar

Yelp
This previously was my favorite coffee spot in Charlotte but a couple months ago, something changed. We can in on Saturday morning and found a completely new staff. When we inquired about what happened to all of our old baristas, we were just told that things change. This wasn't a huge issue however, since then, I feel the quality of the coffee and the consistency of the offerings has gone downhill two out of the last three visits had them out of the only sugar-free syrup they offered, as well as the food choices seemed to have diminished greatly. One of the visits, the coffee machine was down, and they could not even make anything we wanted. We really used to enjoy the spot, but four of our last five times have been very subpar.
google avatar

Myiah H.

Yelp
Didn't get the warm and fuzzies, like I heard it would be. They treated me like I'd been there before and a bit like they didn't understand why I was asking certain questions. Overall the coffee was really good but unfortunately there is no hazelnut syrup here. The alternative black walnut is great! I ordered a vanilla iced latte, and ordered a black walnut iced coffee for a Doctor next door at Ivy Rehab. The vibe here is really nice, but depending on who your barista is, you may feel less inclined to inquire about newbie questions. By the way straws, and napkins are at the door. Didn't eat here, but would return. I love coffee and theirs was tasty while visiting NoDa.
google avatar

Heather Rose M.

Yelp
This coffee shop is an absolute vibe. They have their own wine cellar inside, what is there not to like? The latte was delicious and the music they were playing made me so happy. I spent hours here and don't regret a second. Service was kind, friendly and quick. Come check if out! I went on a Wednesday and had a hard time finding a place to sit so I can't imagine a weekend- only downside. Although, they have tables, couches, and various places to sit, this place is a hot commodity!
google avatar

Mandee P.

Yelp
Scoped this place out for their lattes (and other options too). My husband and I were looking for a change of scene periodically for our remote work. We came from another location that was cool in theory, but coffee wasn't great and no food options. We walked in and this place is so nice! There is bar seating where you can plug in your laptops, a back area that is more quiet and secluded, and a very wide variety of wine, craft beer, and bites. But we came for the coffee - so let me get to the point. I ordered the Black Walnut Latte and my husband got the Crème brûlée. The very first thing we noticed is that they didn't use generic syrups. They appeared to have their own house-made concoctions. It certainly paid off, resulting in a delicious, delicate latte that was not too sweet and the espresso could still shine through. This is an elevated latte! We will certainly be back for caffeine and a change of scenery.
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Wonderful coffee. Unique menu. Relaxing cozy atmosphere. Great bottles of wine for purchase. Need I say more?
google avatar

Sharon M.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop/bar in Charlotte. Love the environment and all the drinks they have there. Espresso martini was on point! Definitely one of my favorite drinks. Great place to hang out and study on your own.
google avatar

Angie P.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere, friendly baristas, & an amazing caramel brûlée latte...what more could you ask for? Oh & they sell beer & wine. This lovely coffee & bottle shop is really nice. I love the "hideaway" in the back of the shop. However I think others love it, too! You gotta be quick to snag a spot back there. My caramel brûlée was ready quickly. It tasted so good, I didn't want to be done with it. And the latte art...perfect! They have several coffee & tea options to choose from. Prices are reasonable. Don't forget they have parking in the back!
google avatar

Yelp
Been on my radar for awhile to try, and I wasn't disappointed. We just wanted a nice cool coffee place on a Sunday and this was perfect. Was surprised to see so many people working on laptops on a Sunday though !! Very organized spot with seating and outlets for those working everywhere. Then lots of casual seating indoors and out for us looking not to work ! Great menu for coffee and tea. Also a bottle shop where you can buy to go. They also have stuff on tap. Lots of variety in wine and beer . I got a cappuccino which was just perfect. Beautifully presented, in a real cup, with the lovely foam decor and the coffee was nice and strong. Great Sunday morning caffeine fix! My friend went with the lavender vanilla latte. Again great presentation, nice big cup and lavender on top of the foam ! It was also another perfect tasting cup. They carry alternative milk too. But I have to say I'm partial to places that serve in real cups. Sign of good coffee usually. Hobbyist is a bit of a hidden treasure but seems to be popular in this area. Certainly will be back to try more and buy wine ! Loved this modern and chill spot.
google avatar

Valerie A.

Yelp
I ordered a wine. They poured my wine and then I paid. My sister sitting next to me ordered an Expresso Martini. They said she had to pay before they can make it! What??? We were told it has to go through the machine. You can't just tell your coworkers to make the drink?!! The manager was an arrogant ass and his explanation was ignorant! I live in NODA and NEVER have had this type of stupid process!! *UPDATE* Thank you for your response but will not return. We voiced our dislike to the young lady behind the bar. She offered to get the manager and he approached us with a serious attitude. I had yet to ask him anything and he was very closed off and rude. The young lady made one of my sisters her coffee and didn't make the other sister her coffee. Just ignored her order. Rude begets rude!

Yelp
Cool atmosphere. Black walnut coffee was very good, seemed a little overpriced for the size.. Fun place to hang out thou
google avatar

Lexi L.

Yelp
5 stars !!! I went to the Hobbyist after trying to hit 8am morning yoga so it was about 9am when I made it. The atmosphere was very calming and inviting. This is a very artsy. There is art for sale on the walls. There is a variety of wine for sale which I love (lexi the wino). I got the maple clove latte , iced of course, along with a pumpkin cinnamon roll and a regular cinnamon roll. I am super indecisive so the barista did help me choose and was very patient. We made a great choice with the in season, maple clove latte. They also warmed up my cinnamon rolls. There was of a pastries to Choose from. Everything there was pretty cool. They also have a section of plants that they sell and of course I had to purchase a money tree stump. The plant vendor is very nice and helpful. For us, who don't have a super green thumb and would like to have some cute plants she leaves plant care notes on the plants. I texted her and let her know that I would like some tips as well and she responded quickly. There is a patio where you can sit outside which is great for beautiful days. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Rain W.

Yelp
Cool little spot. I was expecting some breakfast options, but the pastry case was super limited. Didn't matter, though. They made me one of the best matcha lattes I've ever had. My partner's latte was delicious too. Overall, chill vibe and good drinks. Seems like a good place to work or hang. I'd just eat before or after going!
google avatar

Sini B.

Yelp
I was looking for a chill coffee shop in Charlotte with a nice vibe and good music. The Hobbyist checked all the boxes and more Location Near the city. Easy access with plenty of parking around. The menu There are plenty of options for coffee and alcohol. This combo appeared weird at first but it definitely works! The black walnut latte and lavender vanilla latte were standouts! Nuanced but punchy flavors. The vibe Plenty of people working on their laptops, reading, or hanging out. The music was on the louder side but nobody seemed bothered by it. Overall One of the best coffee shops in Charlotte. Whether you want good coffee or a chill place, I highly recommend them!
google avatar

Alicia R.

Yelp
A cute coffee shop tucked away. I walk by this shop almost daily and finally decided to get a coffee to go. It was much bigger than I thought! Lots of seating in the front, middle and back of the shop. I love that there were people playing games, studying, reading and just catching up. I browsed their wine bottle selection and it looks very good, though I think some of the prices are a little high. They also had a large selection of grab and go beers as well. Perfect for a date night spot or if you have friends/ family visiting. They had plenty of people working so my coffee was ready quickly. I will definitely be coming back to try one of their wine selections
google avatar

Jillian M.

Yelp
Nice, quite to place to enjoy some coffee and do some studying or reading. I come to this little plaza it's in quite often since there's also two other restaurants I love to visit. It's clean, friendly, and they can make a mean matcha. Although, we did also order a cronut and it wasn't very good. Got it heated up but came out kinda tough, like it wasn't fresh. Not a big deal but I probably wouldn't order pastries from there anymore, but will definitely be back for the matcha/lattes
google avatar

Michaelah P.

Yelp
I really wanted to start off liking this place. I came in and requested an expresso martini opting for tequila instead of the classic vodka. The bartender immediately looked at me with hesitation and let me know she would have to ask for permission to make the drink as I requested. She went to the back and got the manager I believe. Who came up and let me know that it wouldn't be allowed. The excuse that I received was that they just got their liquor license and are "doing everything by the books". Which didn't make any sense to me considering they have a fully stocked bar already at this moment. I understand wanting to keep the uniformity and integrity of their product, but to tell the consumer they're wrong and wants won't be accommodated at a bar is completely asinine. Furthermore I'm not a vodka drinker but decided to see what their hype was. The Martini was not anything spectacular, the expresso was basic and coffee flavor wasn't the best. 6/10

Yelp
One of the more "Hip" coffee places I've had the pleasure of visiting. Everything in this place screams we take our coffee and drinks very seriously. I literally watched them weigh each part of my iced latte, from the cup with ice to milk to the shot of espresso; quite impressive. And with all that effort, my coffee was top notch, just the right balance of coffee bitterness and creamy whole milk. They also have a huge selection of wine and beer, and good sampling of options on tap. This place is definitely an upscale, yet relaxing spot to have a coffee or a drink, whether you're trying to get some work done or just meeting a friend. I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Annie C.

Yelp
Coffee was amazing. Definitely get the black walnut latte! Super relaxing and chill vibe, they have great music and tv playing by the bar and lots of seating for doing work or hanging out. In the back, there are also board games for you to play! Good place to study/ work as long as you don't mind some background noise. They also offer beer and wine in addition to coffee and they have ice cream. Really nice place!
google avatar

Guusje M.

Yelp
Found this delightful coffee and craft beer shop on a visit to Charlotte. It is obviously a very popular local hang out and work from home destination. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. It's very laptop friendly - I've never seen so many electrical outlets. It's adjacent to one of the many green space trails so it's an excellent place to meet up for a walk.

Yelp
I have been to The Hobbyist a 3 times now & I keep coming back. Each time has been an absolute delight. The employees are great & go out of their way to be kind & offer options if you're uncertain. The matcha is wonderful & the fact that they had a vegan/gluten free donut made my entire month.. the environment & interior of this shop is warm, welcoming, comfortable, yet industrial & hip. I would indeed drive 30 minutes just to come to this beautiful space over & over again. (PS, & they carry JuneShine!!)

Yelp
WOW!! I ordered the Iced Black Walnut Latte with half of oatmilk & almond milk. It's very unique and delicious. This place is definitely a good place to work and study. Surrounding music isn't too loud and here has very calm vive. It reminds me of SF. The interior was nice as well. Everything was good. It took almost 40 minutes from my home. But I am glad that I moved forward to visit here :)

Yelp
Atmosphere: first of all, great parking situation with some street spots right in the front and a whole lot in the back! No parking always stresses me out so this was pretty great. You can enter from the front or the back, they have a very long section where they serve alcohol (beer/wine) as well as an area for the baristas to make your coffees. Plenty of seating at the "bar" with some spots throughout the actual venue and even outside (dog friendly!). The lights, aesthetics, plants, and just the mood is relaxing and very hip. They have a large section of shelves filled with beers and wines to choose from which is amazing. I can totally see this being a great study spot or a cute coffee date. Drinks: Had their lattes since we still had to drive back 4 hours to Atlanta but wish we found this place sooner so we could have enjoyed some beer/wine. FYI their latte art is so pretty! - Pistachio mocha latte: deep rich mocha flavors with a beautiful crushed pistachio rim on the cup. We got this hot and subbed the milk for almond milk. If you love mocha and chocolate flavors then you will love this! - Black walnut latte: I was in between this and the lavender vanilla but you can honestly get lavender anywhere now so I thought black walnut was something unique. I subbed the milk for oat milk bc they had oatly (MY FAVE brand) and it was so smooth and creamy. It has almost a cinnamon taste. I think what really makes this great is the bourbon salt they sprinkle on top, the mix of the salt and sweet balanced out the latte wonderfully. Food: they have a small section where they have pastry options including things that are vegan! As well as some refrigerated items, but didn't take too close of a look at that. TLDR: great lattes, aesthetic vibes, easy parking

Yelp
Visited the Hobbyist one morning and also on a Saturday evening. Both times I had coffee and could not be more pleased with the quality of their drinks. I had the crème brulee latte. It was by far one of the best coffees I have had. In the evening their espresso machine was broke , but the girls offered to create a special drink with their drip coffee. It was an amazing latte. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and an overall friendly vibe. They are a wine and beer shop . They have bar seating , tables and couches. A little bit of everything. There are spaces to play games, work or just visit. An outstanding experience.

Yelp
Love this place! The staff is very easygoing, & unlike other coffee shops they are open @ night hours so perfect for a late night study session!

Yelp
Always enjoy the hobbyists! Multiple options for fun lattes or a great place to get a black coffee. Typically come multiple times a week.

Yelp
Really nice atmosphere. One stop shop for wine, beer or coffee. Only downside is the food is very limited to go items. Wi-Fi and outlets available.

Yelp
Wow, this place was actually mildly impressive. Service was friendly & top notch. They truly have some amazing folks on staff. Not to mention their orange clove latte was out of this world. Full of flavor and spice without an overpowering sweetness. I appreciate how well crafted the latte was and the care the barista put into the drink.
