"The new parking lot patio at The Holloway is covered in Dodger Blue from the moment you walk in, so you know exactly what you’re getting at this excellent Echo Park sports bar. They’ve got Dodgers, Rams, and Chargers games, and some great micheladas." - Brett Keating

"Between the black vinyl booths and the standard tacos/wing/nachos/burgers menu, this simple American diner doesn’t have a ton of personality, but neither did Tim Duncan. And he won five NBA championships." - Kat Hong, James Montgomery

The beer selections are fine but the food can be a bit pricey. For their burger, you're paying $11-12 with NO fries. I repeat, NO FRIES. While the burger is on the good side, it's not fantastic or something I'd recommend to someone who was requesting a "great burger recommendation." But I was expecting at least fries to come with my burger. Was so disappointed when the plate came w/ no fries. They have shuffleboard, which can be fun if you're into that. This has become the hang out spot for dodgeball players Tuesday evenings after their games end. It's a nice space but gets a big crowded. The decor could change a bit. Definitely missing the old bar sponsor, which was at Little Joy.

I've been to this bar now 2 times and the food is disappointing to say the least. It's clean, hospitable, and the service is good however the food and the portions are sub-par. You order a burger and it comes with no sides (fries or other), just bun and Patty. Another time I ordered a brattwurst which was basically half of a normal Dodger stadium hotdog. Although the atmosphere was ok, I could never recommend this place to anyone for anything other than to grab a beer.

I love this place because of the proximity to my apartment. The food uses quality ingredients and is prepared well, though I'm sometimes annoyed by the high-ish prices because of how cheap other places in the area are. The atmosphere is great though, and the bartenders are usually friendly, so I always get over the sticker shock. The patio allows dogs, which is another plus in my book. The jukebox has fantastic music, and there's always at least one beer that I want to drink on tap.

I have not been back since opening week. However, my experience, left a good impression. Good bar and food service. At that time there was no Happy Hour - beers were full price. The sandwiches are quite delicious. I had the Crustacean and the name sake burger. The Crustacean was my favorite, however, at $13 no sides it is an indulgence.

The Holloway captures a strange aura in Echo Park to say the least. This establishment embodies the definition of gentrification attracting a strange crowd. I did try their food and it was good. The burger was not invasive nor poorly cooked. I had a wonderful time. Their fries are top notch but are greasy to the touch when you first get them. Holloway does a good job of being a bar.

Small to Medium size Bar. Great location to get good tasting craft brews and has a full bar. The food is good, especially the Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup. The big plus for me is they have a small patio in back, smokers haven.

This place is the bomb...I am not a fan of buying hot dogs when I go out to eat but these are a huge exception. They have different styles and even a veggie dog. The green dog was so good. A mix of so many flavors I forgot I was eating a hot dog. We split the elite and fries which were good although o wish I had just ordered elote fries...next time. We finished it off with the horchata ice cream which was killer. I was in food coma heaven after that. Don't let the questionable location fool you this place is a diamond. Great food, service and prices.

We just had my friend's birthday there last night and it was great! Affordable drinks, great bartender, and we even played some shuffleboard. This will be my new hangout, I love the vibe and the staff.
