What a solid spot for brunch! We love the bottomless deal and the food is phenomenal. We had the pleasure of having Manny as our server who was awesome and kind and easy to talk to. The hostess Haley was also amazing and loved the fresh roses she curated for each of the tables, We shared the breakfast burrito and the avocado toast with a sunny side egg on top! We look forward always to coming here for a leisurely brunch among the stars! The Rock, Zendaya, Leo, Will Smith, ScarJo and Marylin Monroe all are waiting for you with the biggest and royal star of them all BETTE DAVIS!

Super fun with several wax figures to hang with, sunshine. Eggs Benedict and breakfast burrito both delicious. Our server Cayla was super attentive and sweet.

After visiting the Madame Tussaud Museum, we decided to have dinner at the rooftop. It was relatively empty and had some additional wax figures of Will Smith and others. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. And the food was surprisingly good. I honestly went in with low expectations but was happily surprised with the food and service. And the pricing was affordable. Highly recommend.

Nothing like sitting down with Marilyn Monroe for a quick cocktail and some salacious celebrity dish. This rooftop respite feels far removed from the tacky souvenirs and drugged out street people on Hollywood. Chill vibe, wax sculptures that are head-turningly realistic. Best of all, when you go during Happy Hour you can get a filling appetizer and a cocktail for around twenty dollars. This place is really a hidden delight. The service was top-notch , the ambiance casual and entertaining and my ahi tuna nachos were delicious and nearly healthy.

The Hollywood Rooftop Restaurant & Bar by Madame Tussauds, ok that’s a mouthful! Ok Madame Tussauds Rooftop is a more than worthy visit. Where else can you have a drink at the bar amongst “The Rock” and “Leo DiCaprio“ … fine … likenesses :)? Wax statues from Madame Tussauds have always fascinated me. I’ve never gone inside because when you’ve been in LA like I have for over 32 years you think you’re just too cool for tourist attractions. Well the roof top bar is 1000 times better than just a tourist attraction. The museum is fantastic by itself but The (long name) Hollywood Rooftop Restaurant & Bar by Madame Tussauds short name Madame Tussauds Rooftop… is such a cool place to grab a bite and a drink. Whether you’re a local or tourist. When you come up the elevator to the … Rooftop you can be seated at the bar or table where you can eat, drink and see a-list celebrity statues. It’s a win-win. I’m sure they rotate the statues but on my visit Leo was by the bar, The Rock was by the bar, Will Smith was chilling, Scarlett Johansson was ready for a selfie and guess who had an empty seat next to her? Zendaya! Check out the photos… It was such a unique vibe the figures are so lifelike and you’re there eating and drinking amongst them, even if they’re wax representatives it’s still amazing! I often say people come to The Hollywood Walk Of Fame to see “stars” on the ground. To tell everyone back home they saw “stars”. But in this photo friendly experience you can eat and drink with life-size masterpieces of some entertainment giants. I sat at the bar with no time for food but I studied the menu and it looked plentiful. They offer regular bar fare but some specialties that caught my eye in the dessert column. I will bring a friend back to explore the “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend”. A look around and I saw a HUGE burger for another guest. The burgers come with wedges and can be made with impossible beef, the menu said, for those so inclined. I’m not inclined. I’m trying to eat cleaner as my other reviews explain but I need my burger to burger. I decided on the Mai Tai and waited patiently for it to be made. Is that an ice crusher… wait is that a mason jar… wait is that fresh mint… ok they had me at ice crusher. Fantastic drink, good pour and the bar tender was super attentive! Let me spell it out… If your in Hollywood and you can get a $20 burger and wedges, Mai Tai $15, plus 20% tip that includes music, Hollywood cool vibes, actual celebrity statues, and an attentive staff to cater to you… should you go? It’s rhetorical, just get yourself here. Matter of fact sign me up too, I’ll be back!

The salmon flatbread and the Ahi tuna nachos are without questions.... Superb. Sage and Nate the waiters were awesome. I highly recommend, especially for happy hour.

This was a great place to eat. Not only was the food delicious, but you get to meet celebrity wax figures. Staff was awesome and nice. Fun place to hang out in Hollywood.

The food was absolutely great—every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Joshua and Yasmin were a 10 out of 10: friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

I had such a great time at this rooftop spot! The moment you step out onto the terrace, the view and atmosphere immediately set the mood for a relaxing afternoon. The space feels open and vibrant, with plenty of comfortable seating that makes it easy to just sit back and enjoy. The menu has a nice mix of drinks and bites everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The cocktails were well balanced and refreshing, and the food came out quickly and tasted fresh. Welp, I had a similar experience to Raina C. Was looking forward to going to such a cool looking rooftop spot in such a booming location while visiting L.A.! Conveniently right across from our hotel (Hollywood Roosevelt). After looking at photos of this place, I thought it might be better to make a reservation. I'd assumed it would be packed on a Friday night. Anywho, when I made the reservation, there was a question asking if we're going there for an occasion. Yes. My birthday. So, we arrive. All was well. We're led to the elevator & once at the rooftop, we're greeted. I mentioned that we had a reservation. The gentleman asked if we'd like a "table or a couch." Whoa. Couch, please and thank you! My daughter and I ordered drinks. We'd eaten at In n' Out before coming to the rooftop so we weren't hungry. We don't have In n' Out in NY and I couldn't wait to try their "double double animal style." Did not dissapoint! Back to the rooftop, I had a Mai Tai. It was strong but didn't taste very good. After reading reviews here on Yelp, I was aware of the 19% gratuity (thank you, Yelpers!) My daughter wasn't impressed with the service (or lack thereof). Okay, so back to my birthday... Fortunately, we had a full day of a laundry list of nothing but unbelievably wonderful things! Best birthday ever! Thank you, Hollywood!! So, the slight from this place didn't put a damper on anything. I'd forgotten all about this place celebrating birthdays until I saw a waiter with two massive slices of cake walk over to a table behind us and Happy Birthday was sung. It was then that I remembered that I mentioned that it was my birthday when I made the reservation. It was also then that I recalled Raina C's review. I'm Black. The table presented with the two slices of b'day cake, caucasian. After finishing our drinks and since no one came back to check on us (why would they when the restaurant includes their tip in your bill?), we walked over to the bar to pay the bill. I'd mentioned to the lady working the bar that I'd expected there to be more of a crowd. She explained that October weather (a very comfy 70s that evening) is cold and folks don't go out as much. Or maybe too many folks are disappointed by a past experience here? Not vibing with the 19% gratuity? Heard the drinks and food aren't all that great? I dunno. Word of mouth and reviews travel fast. I took some photos and we left. I'm giving two stars for the ambiance, wax figures and decor. Go elsewhere if you're melanated and want to celebrate your birthday and/or if you want delicious drinks, or service worthy of the 19% tip that you're gonna pay regardless, lol. Will I return? Yeah, nooooooooooooo, it's a one and done for me.

(Better late than never) We celebrated my hubby's birthday here before attending a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The service was exceptional--very friendly, attentive, and the birthday touches were amazing (champagne, card, and cake)! The food was pretty good; just a little salty for me. Since it was pretty quiet on a Wednesday evening, we enjoyed selfies with the wax actors without any trouble

This is a rooftop restaurant and bar of the Madame Tussauds wax museum. I'v bookmarked this place for a while. Glad we were able to come in to have some drinks and snack food before late night dinner nearby. This is a beautiful outdoor lounge, the couch seatings were so comfy and relaxing. The wax figures made the experience even more fun! I have to say that Scarlet Johansson and Will Smith wax figures looked so real. The menus were big for a museum lounge. We decided to try a very pretty specialty cocktail, a couple grey goose martinis and Vesper martinis. We shared chicken nachos and steak flatbread which were very tasty. The services were excellent from the host girls downstairs, upstairs to our servers. We had a great time at this fun lounge in the heart of Hollywood!

I've been an LA resident for a year now and I generally don't care to visit the overly tourist areas, but my wife and I ended up taking the metro to the Hollywood Marshall's and figured, why not stop and get some food at this rooftop restaurant after? Now, I had no idea this place was a part of Madame Tussauds's so when we got seated and had statues of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Scalett Johansson staring at us, It was a funny experience. The menu here looked pretty solid and my eyes went straight for the Roasted Chicken Dip. This sandwich is described as "Chicken on a Dutch roll, pickled slaw, tomato, cucumber, watercress, and garlic aioli, served with roasted tomato au jus". Let me tell you, for a place attached to a museum, this sandwich was really freaking good. The chicken sandwich itself was on the bigger side, stacked, and once it was dipped into this sauce, it definitely won me over. I was a big fan of the bread used and the chicken itself, while the french fries on the side were pretty dang solid as well. Overall, I was a huge fan of The Hollywood Rooftop Restaurant & Bar and have nothing bad to say about it. The staff here were very friendly, the food was very good, and you can't really beat a rooftop table with great views. If you find yourself checking out the area, this place is a great choice for lunch.

Terrific service!! I also highly recommend the "mystery drinks (see photos) you just name your liquor and poof a concoction is created. We loved our specialty drinks. We had appetizers to share and split the spicy chicken sandwich. All of the food was fresh and tasted good! We were attending a musical at the Dolby so it was an afternoon visit. My only drawback is that getting to this spot was kinda hectic as its prime tourist destination. Also the rooftop IS a rooftop - but doesn't necessarily offer any views etc. so I was kinda warm at my table! But would highly recommend if you're in the area for an event.

Definitely a cute place to bring out of town guests. Even for a local like me, I thought it was really cute. Happy hour was great...we dropped in just for a quick drink - $9 wine and 1/2 off appetizers. The ahi nachos were absolutely delicious & had legit spice to it. Make sure you request no jalapenos if you don't enjoy spice. The restaurant is part of Madam Tousouds, it's right past the chinese theater where they have the foot/hand prints of the celebrities. When I first entered the restaurant, I noticed they placed a few celebrity figures around the restaurant. Some looked so real I didn't realize it was a prop. There are many tables to dine and also plenty of comfortable couches setup where you can get a small group together for an outing. Overall, the prices are reasonable, their happy hour was great but it's only from 3 to 6pm. This place is right smack in the middle of hollywood so there will be a lot of tourists everywhere. Street parking would be hard depending on the day. My suggestion is to park at The Ovation (formerly known as Hollywood and Highland). Most of the businesses located with the ovation will provide you validation with purchase and it'll be an easy 5 to 7 min walk. Max parking is $20 so much cheaper to park here then most of the lots in the area. An even better option is to take the metro redline in - leave your car elsewhere. Service, food and ambiance were all great - if I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely stop by again.

The sandwich I ordered spicy chicken was fine. My GF ordered the salmon flatbread. Way too many onions on it. Heartburn for hours! I asked for an old fashioned but made a point that I didnt want it to be sweet. Guess what. It was like candy. And then the waitress was like "oh yeah that's a sweet one" Also the IPA beer was like dishwater. I sent that back after one sip. The ambiance was cool. Nice couches dispersed among the tables. Wax statues of actors scattered around gave it an interesting vibe. No views of the Hollywood sign-just brick walls. I would not return and do not recommend. There are way better places to eat.

It was a vibe! We came here with a reservation after walking through the museum downstairs. We just had kite bites and cocktails during happy hour bc we had dinner reservations. We tried the pretzel bites and the chips n dips. We also had the mystery (bar tender's choice) drinks. You just tell them what type of liquor you prefer and they make a custom drink for you. The ambience is really nice. I'm taking one star away bc they advertise 1/2 price appetizers (8$) but you're only getting less than half of the original sized and priced food. That's not really a deal. See pics for HH sizes.

The service wasn't good. That ambience was decent. The food was OK. It's definitely not a restaurant that I necessarily have to go back to as far as food quality goes, but if you're looking for an ambience and a vibe it has that for you.

Decided to try this restaurant out instead of eating at the usual chain restaurants offered around Hollywood Blvd and the walk of fame. I brought my family here after what I'd assume to be peak hours on a Sunday lunch rush. There were only 2 other parties at the time so I assumed service would be quick. From the time we got our order in to when our table received the food, we had waited around 50 minutes for a party of 6 (5 adults + 1 kid). This alone made my parents really upset due to it being not busy. I tried not to be too upset because I know some places can be understaffed but I do wish there could have been something our server could have offered us for waiting for so long. You also get charged an automatic gratuity for being over a party of 5 which pissed my parents off for the service they received. Aside from the wait, I thought the food tasted really well. I ordered the buffalo chicken flat bread and really enjoyed it. I liked that the flatbread didn't taste stale, it was chewy and crispy even with all the toppings on it. We also ordered the Wild Mushroom Gnocchi - which was perfectly cooked, not super mushy and addictive to eat, the Grilled Steak Flatbread, and a kids Flatbread pizza. I would recommend trying this place out if you are in the area or visiting madame tussauds, maybe you'll receive a better experience than my family did! Food is solid and being able to take pics with the figures was cool. I hope in the future they would add fans, misting fans, or more shade because LA tends to get hot and/or humid during the warmer months. Possibly also try to get rid of the urine smell around the restaurant.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this rooftop restaurant! I typically avoid Hollywood Blvd, but had a guest in town and decided to go to Madame Tussaud's. We added on appetizers at this restaurant and absolutely loved our experience. We got the ahi tuna tacos and pretzel bites and both were delicious -- the tacos portion is massive, and the tuna is really fresh. The pretzels come with cheese and mustard and were piping hot. We also enjoyed getting to take pictures with some of the wax figures like Marilyn Monroe and James Dean. Our server, Abby, was one of the best I've ever had -- checked in on us frequently and was so friendly and helpful. I would say they need some more umbrellas or shaded areas, especially on days when it will be crowded (we lucked out with a fairly empty rooftop so we could pick a shaded table). Otherwise, though, I loved it and would absolutely come back!

The restaurant is hidden away so there isn't much crowd. We went during happy hour. The atmosphere is very laid back with good 2000s music. The staff were nice and service was quick. The food was great. We only did appetizers and drinks but you got to dine with the stars!

Stopped by to kill an hour before dinner reservations and the drinks were great. The service was fast and very friendly and the setting was nice and comfy. Can't wait to go back again.

Had a reservation at 8:30 was given 3 minutes to order before kitchen closed at 8:45, for a party of 5, only 3 of us ended up ordering, on the menu the mushroom pasta was 24$, I never asked for chicken and was given chicken and charged $34 plus 19% automatic tip, food was meh, not very customer friendly like, and I'm not sure why take reservations 15 minutes before kitchen closed and be rushed to eat and get out? would not recommend.

The ambience is delightful. The summertime vibes are wonderful. The service is timely and the servers were knowledgeable and friendly. The food is excellent. Try the Wild Mushroom Pasta. Also, the Garlic Cheese Puffs are top tier. Just get two orders right off. Another great item is the Box Office Buger. They pour the skillet bleu cheese tableside. If you don't like bleu cheese, then it's not for you. Otherwise, it's a must try. Drinks are delicious also.

The server was cool and gave suggestions on drinks and I'm glad I listened because I really enjoyed my drink. I had a burger it had good flavor I just wish the texture was better. Also the bread was quite thick. I did like the potato wedges. The waiter did forget to put an item in. He did admit that so he went ahead and canceled the item. Overall if was pretty decent and worth a try especially for drinks.

Campy and ridiculous and I loved it...This atmosphere is so silly and fun. Eating pretzel bites and guacamole next to wax figures of Leonardo DiCaprio, Zendaya, and Scarlett Johansson? I'm IN. The experience was made even more wonderful by our server Abby who was genuinely so hilarious. Abby, if you read this, you're the shit and we loved you. She had us cracking up every time she would check in. And for what some might label a "tourist trap," the food was solid! I ordered the mushroom gnocchi which was actually bomb and I would totally order again. Plus, the drinks were delicious. I will absolutely be back!

Welcome to Hollywood, where the view is nice (not really very good here!) but the business model is pure entitlement. This place doesn't just charge for food and drinks they've added a mandatory 19.5% "service charge" because apparently, it's my job as a customer to make sure their employees get a living wage. Newsflash: I already did my part by showing up, overpaying for mediocre food, and sitting through service that barely clears average. It's basically a Hollywood cover charge for mediocrity. The lazy and entitled owner gets to pat himself on the back for "supporting staff," while in reality it's just a sneaky way to inflate the bill and shift payroll costs onto the people eating here. And yes, they even tax the service charge so you're paying sales tax on the privilege of being overcharged. There are too many rooftops in this city with better food, better service, and no entitled gimmicks. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. Unless, of course, you enjoy paying extra for the privilege of subsidizing a business owner who can't be bothered to run his restaurant the right way.!!

I love this place! Recently had a big birthday party here and the staff and bartenders couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. We reserved a spot in the bar area, with couches, and it was so nice to hang out outside with friends -- and a few celebrities standing around to cheer us on! The drinks and food were also terrific. The staff gave me a card, piece of cake, and glass of champagne for my bday. Will definitely be back and next time would like to buy a ticket to the full museum to see all the wax figures!

An automatic service charge of 19.5% is this even legal? Calling some attorneys too see if this qualifies as a class action. The bartender said they do it because it's a tourist location and the Europeans do not tip. Um so I can't leave a 15% tip nope automatic 19.5% is this legal?

Fun place to eat on the rooftop of Madame Tussaud's wax museum. First, make a reservation on the Open Table app. When you arrive, the host at the ground floor entrance will guide you to the elevator to the rooftop. Lots of fun mannequins to pose with on the rooftop among the tables. The service was good and so was the food, but it's pricey and they automatically add 19.5% gratuity to the bill without saying anything. We read it on the menu, but it was a little conspicuous when they failed to deliver the itemized receipt initially -- had to ask to see it. Also got overcharged for wine, but everything else was so good, I let it slide. A good time and was convenient since it's across the street from the Jimmy Kimmel show. The flatbread pizza was delicious! Restrooms are decent, but it's all unisex.

Came in by myself after running errands and was welcomed warmly. Sometimes dining alone feels awkward, but here it didn't at all. The server checked in just the right amount and gave helpful recommendations. The food came quickly, but I didn't feel rushed to leave. It's nice when a restaurant can make solo diners feel comfortable.

Had a disappointing experience after really looking forward to coming here for during my birthday trip with the fam. Definitely a cute spot with some wax statues. The real problem I had was top of that our server forgot to bring out our app (ok honest mistake, he told us he forgot) no worries. He said he would bring them out and take it off the bill, perfect right? Only we finished our entire meal and waited and still nothing, then I reminded him again and it came out after while after that (he forgot twice maybe? That's not cool!) He also mistaked my son's side order or sweet potato fries for potato skins (ok again understandable. Similar items, it happens) but again the correct order didn't come out until well after our meal was consumed in full- it was not busy (which if it was I get the kitchen being backed up.) just a handful of tables. To make things worse. Earlier my family sang happy birthday to me, loudly and the waiter even walked by as they did that. And then we had a table that got sat next to us and as soon as he sat them he asked them "are you guys here celebrating anything? Would love to bring you a glass of champagne or a dessert for you to celebrate" Wait what? We were literally in ear shot of that and it made me feel uneasy that he not only didn't ask us but ignored us (vs being overly forward and asking the Caucasian family if they had anything the celebrate). All in all the entire situation left a very sour taste and made me sad that they treat their patrons of color differently.

From first arriving and being greeted at the rooftop, we felt very welcomed. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. Service was extremely exceptional, our waiter was very attentive and answered any questions we had...should've got his name They were playing some good music and the vibes felt like we were in Palm Springs on a mini vacation. I had a Mai Thai, and this was the first time ever that it wasn't too strong where all you taste is alcohol. It was perfect with a hint of a little sweetness. All of their food was so good ! But their chicken flatbread was my favorite, it was packed with soooo much flavor. A must try for an appetizer! For my entree I had their steak sandwich with fries and that meat was so tender and flavored! Fries were crispy and bomb.

We decided to go out to The Hollywood Rooftop Restaurant from The High Desert and so glad we did ! It was phenomenal ! Food is to die for & five star Michelin service . Ambiance is romantic great for dates family fun to girls night out. Tonight it was all about friends however three gentlemen picked up my tab for dinner and all my friends drinks but me being Miss Independent turned around and gave them their money back with a polite Thank you but No thank you. So y'all this is definitely a place to try & guarantee you'll be taking a menu to call out for takeout

I frequent hollywood at least 4 times a year and I've eaten at quite a few places. I heard some good things about this newish spot so I went in today and was happily surprised for a touristy area. Food: Poke nachos: 5/5 - the taro chips were so good and the sauce was yum! Box office burger: 4/5 - my friend ordered this so I just had a bite, but it was really good and juicy! Drinks: Tsunami: 5/5 - not to sweet Service: we were served by Jon Michael and he was attentive and quite a hoot. He made the perfect recommendation for my drink and he also gave us the scoop on some activities in the area. Overall 5/5 - will recommend to my friends and family!

It's a cool vibe and especially for out of town guests. The food was average and I wouldn't make a special trip to return. Is it a place I would intentionally go back to? Probably not. We still had a good time.

The worst experience you can have with a cocky wait staff Joshua very rude and a control nut. Management couldn't retain their employee. Gentleman was rude and not for for the hospitality industry. Restaurant didn't have all the ingredients on their menu just basic ingredients. Tourist trap for sure 19% tip with ride service.

we loved our visit to the Hollywood Rooftop Restaurant & Bar. The waiter was attentive , the food was delicious, the open area was nicely decorated and the movie stars present added a fun, hollywood touch. We will be back!

Food was delicious, but the service, location and setting were underwhelming. There is no view, so don't expect that. The wax figurines were few and far between. The overall ambiance felt slow and dull... but again the fold was delicious. We went at 6 pm on a Monday.

Hands down one of the best meals I've had in Hollywood. I ordered the pasta after Judy described it.  She checked in just the right amount and made sure we had everything we needed before we even asked. We left full and happy! We'll be coming back here for our next visit!
