"Looking for a market you can shop at during your lunch break? Mark your calendar for this Downtown weekday farmers market at the Allen Center. Starting on May 7, the Allen Center’s green space, the Acre, will host a public market from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month. Stalls will be filled with locally sourced produce, grass-fed meat, cold-pressed juice, baked goods, jams, and specialty products, in addition to fun activities, giveaways, and fresh lunch options that can make any lunch break feel like a getaway. Best of all, during hot summer days, the market migrates indoors to the One Allen Center lobby so you won’t be shopping in the heat." - Brianna Griff
