"This neighborhood gem has an industrial-chic dining room and deck overlooking the red rocks of Sedona. Mark and Lisa Shugrue opened the Hudson in 2015 and brought on chef Jeff Storcz to create sophisticated comfort food. Pick three bruschetta, which ranges from house-smoked salmon, fresh mozzarella and basil, or one with Brie, apples, and fig jam. Thai scallops, barbecue-braised pork tacos, and chicken scaloppini are some of the favorites here." - Jamie Killin, Eater Staff

This place is a must, must-visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with stunning views to match. The food is exceptional and beautifully presented. Kudos to the kitchen staff, they deserve a raise. The drinks are also delicious. Our server was super friendly and sweet. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We tried a few of their signature cocktails and I’d recommend the Lavender Blueberry lemon drop! The whipped feta was excellent and was our start per the recommendation of the server. The entrees were where we had a hard time with meal quality vs cost analysis. The pot pie is a large serving, but lacked flavor and seasoning. The steaks were excellent quality, but the quantity for the cost was lacking as well. We didn’t try dessert but the options were a nice variety. I would have definitely ordered the bread pudding if I hadn’t spent so much already.

Our first time here and it was wonderful! We went for our anniversary and they were so accommodating. We sat outside but got cold so we moved inside, which still had a nice view. Our server Sarah was excellent. Staff was great. The food was delicious- especially the chicken pot pie. It was the best we've ever had. We also loved the kale salad they had, it was very different- the perfect mix of spicy and sweet. They even gave us a free dessert and the chef came out to talk to greet us. Overall a wonderful experience. We will be back next time we stay in Sedona.

My girlfriends and I decided to try here after an afternoon hiking in Sedona. Upon entry, the hostess was warm and friendly and got us seated right away. Nick, our server was prompt, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He provided favorites and suggestions for us first-timers and every recommendation was delicious! The food was fresh, colorful and flavorful! I would absolutely visit the next time I'm in Sedona!

Atmosphere was very loud. Almost couldn't hear my husband talking. Food missed on some points and hit on some. The chop salad, we shared, was perfect for fall. Our entrees included the butternut squash ravioli, which was delicious but the spaghetti vegetables were too salty. I had the blackened swordfish. This had way too much going on. The crispy shrimp could be an appetizer on its on. The corn on the cob, pepper and over cooked carrots weren't necessary. The swordfish, whipped potatoes and the cauliflower was enough for the price. I love a wrapped lemon for squeezing on my fish. But it was way too hard. The cactus margarita was exceptional as was the deconstructed banana pudding. Our server, Asher, was very personable and attentive!

We had lunch at The Hudson since dinner reservations were unavailable, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The daytime views of the red rocks from the restaurant’s outdoor seating area are absolutely stunning. The food was of excellent quality, served in generous portions, and left a great impression. The Hudson is truly a must-visit restaurant in Sedona!

Google
First night we were in love and had an amazing dinner so we decided to come back the next night. The food was all good but we've been very sick for 3 days now... It's really sad to write this because the pot pie I could eat every day. The steak was amazing, really everything was. The service is exceptional as well. I'm sure it was just a one off and just sorry as is left both of us just get sick. Pepto isn't even working... Hope this helps. I would recommend highly trying the chicken pot pie.

Based on a recommendation from a website, we went to eat lunch at The Hudson. We had nice lunch and the waiter Nick was attentive. We also had no problem moving from outside to inside since it was cold. The place is a bit pricey for lunch, there was four of us, and the bill was $160 including tip. There is a bar area there where you can watch games.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Prime Ribeye was amazing! Cooked to as ordered (Medium rare), was fantastic. Literally left no meat in the bone on the plate. Mashed potatoes/veggies were excellent! Staff was great. Views are incredible!

Anne H.

Yelp
We came here twice, dinner and lunch, following multiple recommendations from locals. The first night we split a ribeye ($6 up charge for the kitchen to split it, which was more than fair given that we each got a full serving of potatoes and veggies). The steak was cooked per request. I thought the veggies could have used some extra cooking time; they were pretty crunchy. We split a GF brownie, which received good reviews from the non- GF in the party. Service was excellent. We went back for lunch with friends and all enjoyed. I can recommend the steak and blue salad, and was told the pastrami was very good. I had a taste of the coleslaw and would not hesitate to have it as a side. Again, service was very good. Parking is up the hill and behind the shopping center, if you want to avoid the stairs.

Yelp
Found this restaurant on Yelp, thank you reviewers, if visiting Sedona, don't miss out on this gem. Ambiance- fun, trendy, vibrant, beautiful large windows in the main room giving amazing views Food- excellent, not one single compliant from the 4 of us ( and teenagers can be very picky). Every single portion was extremely large and we all ended up sharing with each other. Loved the beer battered calamari with the marmalade and chili paste, unique compared to the standard calamari we are used to. The Meatballs were also nice with homemade touch. We shared the steak and blue chop salad , absolutely delicious, amazing combo. Crispy chicken sandwich was excellent especially with the added tomato. The boys raved about the BBQ braised pork tacos. And to end the meal, the chocolate chunk skookie avalanche is something you can't walk away from. Unfortunately I have a nut allergy so the added pecans didn't work for me, but the family said that is what differentiated itself from the rest. Must have! Service- prompt, friendly, knowledgeable- Rebecca was the perfect waitress, had a lovely smile and helped us pick the perfect options for our family. Very welcoming. Overall, if you have one restaurant to go to in town, make this your spot. We travel and try a lot and this raised the bar... a monsoon didn't stop this restaurant from making this an amazing experience for us. Thank you for topping off our experience in Sedona!

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Front patio is dog friendly. Overall the front patio ambiance isn't great...every person going in and out of the restaurant stopped to make a comment about my dog. The high foot traffic, along with the waitress not refilling my water or checking on me after I got my food, really makes the dining experience average at best. I had the Thai scallops and the scallops were cooked nicely but the noodles were very overcooked. Perhaps dining without your dog would yield a better experience.

Yelp
Food dinner service on patio fast hot and delicious! Best evening views with landscaping. Strong drinks and excellent pours! Huge salads with protein. Calamari not so yummy- not crispy... chewy... server very kind and took off our bill. I liked my medallion beef. Excellent! Made me wish I got the Steak actually. Next time- I'm getting the full version haha!!! Lots of parking and pretty people here. I am glad I looked okay meaning I did not show up after a hike or after cycling. Air conditioning inside the restaurant. But the views so pretty we sat outside. We went here since the other place by the airport had a 45 minute wait!!! This place only 5 minute. Yayyyy! I will come back on my next mtb trip and order the steak. Salmon was excellent, per my bestie friend. She ate it with relish and nodded in silence. All good signs, since she is chewing and happy!

Yelp
We just stopped in for an early cocktail and a small snack before a dinner date. This place is cute and has fantastic views. The service is laid back but good. Cocktails are amazing and they have a unique selection. Food was also pretty good!

Sandee L.

Yelp
HUGE portions! The two of us could have easily shared one lunch entree and been good. My bf got the croque madam ($20) which was way too salty with the multiple layers of ham. The egg atop was medium well and not runny at all. I did like the coleslaw. The grilled portobello mushroom sandwich ($20) was a winner. Loved the beefy portobello, the creamy avocado, the bright tomato and crispy onion strings. I usually order meat but wanted something with veggies and this was perfect. Fries ok. Cactus fruit margarita ($17): just sweet tasting. Service was good and the view of the rocks was awesome. If it were cooler and less windy, we would have opted to sit in the patio area.

Darcy D.

Yelp
The views from the patio here were gorgeous. We didn't have a reservation, so sadly, we ended up inside. The service was great. The restaurant was nice inside. We ended up getting a plain cheeseburger and the mushroom burger with fries. I loved the fries. We found the burgers to be very greasy. I LOVED the mushrooms on my burger, but the bacon, sauce, and fried onions just added to the greasiness. We decided to give the burgers maybe a 3 on a 1-5 scale. I'd come back to try a salad or another sandwich. There were a lot of good looking meals coming out of the kitchen!

Yelp
This classy restaurant is located in the heart of Sedona, Arizona and has great views of the mountains, friendly and fast service, and some of the best appetizers I've ever had at a restaurant. It was crowded when we arrived around 5 pm but since we opted to sit outside, got seated right away. Our server was wonderful and did a great job of fulfilling our food orders along with topping off our water glasses since we were all dehydrated from the heat. Stand-outs: Meatballs with garlic bread, corn chowder, and fresh mojito drinks (virgin). Pretty good: BBQ ribs, Southwest Pasta, chicken pot pie. Skip: Tacos with fries. Parking is easy as the restaurant has a shared lot (free) with a clothing shop and a couple other establishments, including a bar (featuring live music). Chill classy vibes both in and outside of the restaurant and the views while eating were pretty breathtaking. The portions are huge and we had plenty of leftovers the next day.

Linda R.

Yelp
We found this restaurant on Yelp, but it was a little hard to locate it in the back of the shopping center. Hubby and I arrived for an early dinner, and were seated fairly quickly at the table next to the bar. This area was loud and lacked the magnificent views others rave about. I ordered the ahi tower and Hubby had the $26.00 bison burger. Hubby loved his bison burger. The rice in my ahi tower was not fresh and was grainy and hard, which was disappointing given the $24.00 price tag. Service was spotty, and we had to ask for drink refills. It was a pretty pricy meal for my mediocre dish.

Elaina R.

Yelp
If I could give this 6 stars, I would!! The meatball is so good. This place was recommended to us by a friend and it did not disappoint. You will want a reservation, or show up early. My girlfriend now goes there each time she is in Sedona. These are the places that stand out and stick in our memories for years to come!

Yelp
The Hudson is a fun trendy more upscale bar/restaurant located in the upper portion of a nice centrally located high-end strip mall in Sedona. I enjoyed the overall ambiance and vibe of the Hudson -- especially, the diverse menu options, the classy modern decor, and the music (they were playing a lot of reggae/ Bob Marley, while we dined there). I would recommend reserving one of the very comfortable large booths, or sitting outside in the deck patio area to enjoy the views (if it's not too hot outside). You will likely need reservations if you want to dine here, and keep in mind that both the bar & restaurant close at 9 PM. The presentation of the food was on point! The food itself was good, but neither the pot pie or tenderloin were out of this world when considering their price points; hence the mere 3-star review. The two main course dishes and one cocktail cost approximately $100. The Chicken Pot Pie looked amazing and most of the filling inside of the pot pie was very tasty. However, ironically there was actually very little chicken inside of the "chicken" pot pie, which was disappointing. Further, the small amount of chicken in the pot pie was dry, over cooked, and tough. The filet mignon and cocktails were good, but nothing to brag about. This place is fairly expensive for the average quality of food, but it is one of more classy hip spots in Sedona to grab dinner and drinks at. Would I return again? Maybe ... I think I would prefer to come here for lunch to try their pastrami rueben sandwich, while seated on the deck patio enjoying the views and a cold one. At the end of the day -- it is one of the cooler spots in Sedona to grab a bite and a cocktail at, especially if you want to dress to impress. Therefore, if you are looking for more of an upscale "Scottsdale" type scene w/ overpriced average tasting food and decent service, while in Sedona, this is definitely your spot! ;)

Hard W.

Yelp
Fresh amazing food! wonderful views! great customer service. We really enjoyed ourselves here. would definitely return next time in town. Great portions of food as well. Southwest pasta so yummy!!!

Victoria A.

Yelp
Food was delicious, the fries were a bit salty and I think of myself as someone who doesn't mind salty. The service was okay considering it was busy. Luckily they seated us even though the sign said 2 hour wait. If you make reservations I bet you can get nice seats with a view. The server was sweet and we were happy for a last minute spot where we were shopping.

Carly M.

Yelp
We stopped into The Hudson for lunch because the weather was not cooperating. We got right in and we were seated next to the window. When the clouds cleared we were able to see the beautiful red rocks! Great views! The cocktails were decent and they had a good beer selection. The food was also decent we had the bbq pork tacos and the roasted beet salad. The servers were also nice and helpful. Honestly it's a good lunch spot to stop in with good views. I was expecting the food to be a little more upscale for the price that we paid, but over all it Was very nice!

Yelp
This is now my second visit in five years and I will say from the last visit, it's still 5 stars. The service has improved since my last visit which was probably their only chink in their armor. Our server this visit was Alex. He was amazing in his approach, his check backs were perfectly timed & his willingness to share his love of their food was very helpful. We indulged in two signature appetizers & they were delicious. The whipped feta & bread, was a mouthwatering delight. The pistachios & honey added to it add so much depth to the flavors. Now the ranch chicken wings were Texas sized for sure & perfectly crusted along with a fresh made ranch that brought the wings HOME. As for entrees. Alexis chose the portobello mushroom sandwich & it didn't disappoint, in fact it was so much food she only finished half. Michael chose the Chicken Pot pie, this serving was enough for three people let alone a hungry 8 year old! It was because I sampled it delicious. Imagine thanksgiving dinner with turkey all wrapped up in a pie. I will be ordering that upon my return! I order the bison burger because the server said it was one of the signatures & boi! All my peeps know I don't enjoy spice but this burger cooked to medium, with crispy jalapeno bacon & onion strings was a balance of flavor & a hint of spice that was enjoyable every bit. I only had a few bites as it was a larger burger & we were saving our tummy's for dessert! Now I wanted the deconstructed Banana Cream pie again, but we also order their chocolate chip pan cookie, it had its own identity that separated it from the poozokoi family it stems from. It is a chocolate chip vanilla ice cream lovers dream. Again the food, the service & location make it a must visit when in Sedona!

David W.

Yelp
The Hudson was a great dining experience in Sedona just before you get into uptown. Right away I could tell it was more of a local spot because it is kind of tucked away off the main drag. There is a nice bar before you get to options of indoor or outdoor seating. The layout is contemporary and of course there are amazing views all around. The menu is modern American cuisine and everything we had was very good. We didn't get too elaborate, but had a few bison burgers, calamari, and whiskey buffalo wings. The presentation was very good and the bison burgers were cooked perfectly (these are very easy to overcook). The wings had a nice crisp and the chipotle ranch dipping sauce was fantastic. Service was very good and the waitress was nice. We had outdoor seating during sunset and it was a perfect ending to a day of hiking. I would go back in a heartbeat and try some of the entrees such as salmon and steak as they looked great passing by. Highly recommended!

Lawrence U.

Yelp
The place is highly recommended by fellow guests. The place is hip and a mod wait time for walk in- 40mins. Server was friendly and fast. Corn chowder was heavy and tasty. It is a popular appetizer. The meatball appetizer is huge and enough for two. The best was the Brie. It was balanced and filling. The peanut butter pie was heavy and the house made cream was not fluffy but tastes heavy and buttery.

Kylie M.

Yelp
Fantastic views and about 5-10 minutes from the downtown Sedona area. Fairly small restaurant, but large open windows all around for you to really take in the views. The feta appetizer was UNREAL. I can not express how delicious this was.. I wanted to get 2nds and 3rds of just that. WE got the Steak and then the Teriyaki Steak salad. Deliciuos, but the Teriyaki steak on the bleu cheese salad threw things off a little and made it almost too sweet, but still good! Service was attentive and professional. A great dinner date out for a vacation to the Sedona area or for a birthday.

Wendi K.

Yelp
45 minute wait for 2 on a Sunday evening but we were lucky enough to snag seats at the bar. The food was absolutely delicious. Ahi tuna tower ($24) and Butternut Squash Ravioli ($26) both hit the spot and were sizable. The patio looked nice but looked like it would have been hard to get a spot at. Staff was super nice.

Michelle E.

Yelp
This was a fantastic dinner! A friend who lives locally recommended trying The Hudson during our visit to Sedona and it lived up to expectations! The interior is beautiful, the portions are massive, the food is delicious, and the service was great! We visited on a Friday night at 7:00 pm without a reservation and had to wait about 25 minutes for a table for 2 which wasn't bad at all! We were able to give our phone number and received a text when our table was ready. FAST FACTS: * Reservations - Available online through OpenTable * Parking - Free lot in front of the restaurant with plenty of spots * Happy Hour - Daily from 3 pm - 6 pm in the bar and lounge * Portion sizes are MASSIVE! SERVICE - Our server, Brooks, took great care of us! He didn't have a ton of personality but he checked on us to make sure we had what we needed and the food came out quickly. PRICING - The total was $143.52 after tax and before tip for an iced tea ($4), four pieces of bruschetta ($6 each), bison burger ($26), chicken pot pie ($28), baby back ribs ($36), and brownie sundae ($12). At first glance, it may look pricey for a dinner but considering most of the entrees are large enough to split I think the pricing is reasonable! BRUSCHETTA (8/10) - I love that you can choose different flavors and each piece is cut in half so they are perfect for sharing! Here is our ranking for the four we tried: 1. Street corn - the cilantro aioli is absolutely delicious and the flavors balanced each other so well 2. Blackened shrimp - you get a good amount of shrimp and the smashed avocado is the perfect base for keeping everything attached to the bread 3. Brie & apples - this was a nice way to get some sweetness between savory bruschetta but I wish the pieces of Brie and apple were smaller so each bite was more balanced 4. Funghi - this one was good but needed more flavor since both the mushrooms and ricotta cheese are pretty mild BISON BURGER (10/10) - This was a phenomenal burger! The patty was thick and cooked perfectly... it was juicy and flavorful without being too salty or overly seasoned. The brioche bun was fluffy and held up throughout eating the burger. The jalapeño bacon was one of my favorite additions because you could really taste the jalapeño flavor and paired well with the pepper jack cheese! The BBQ sauce added a sweet element and the shredded lettuce and garlic aioli were great as well. The crispy onions were kind of an afterthought but this burger had a LOT going on and somehow it all worked together! You get a side of fries or coleslaw... the fries were delicious! CHICKEN POT PIE (8/10) - Talk about MASSIVE! This is basically a family size pot pie and could easily feed 2-3 people. But the best part is the flavor matches the size! The crust is flaky and soft and came out perfectly brown. The filling with the chicken, peas, carrots, onion, celery, and potatoes was seasoned well and delivered that classic pot pie flavor! The only reason this wasn't a 10 is that there isn't much unique or special about it... it's a chicken pot pie in the classic sense. PRICKLY PEAR BBQ BABY BACK RIBS (8/10) - Again, a massive portion of ribs plus you get both fries and coleslaw... it's enough for 2-3 people. The ribs were super tender and flavorful. They were definitely on the fattier side which is expected with baby back ribs. The prickly pear flavor didn't really come through in the BBQ sauce but it was sweet and tasty. The ribs were a little too saucy for our preference but if you like a saucy rib, these are for you! GLUTEN FREE BROWNIE SUNDAE (9/10) - I don't eat gluten free but a brownie sundae is one of my favorite desserts and this one was incredible! You'd never know it was gluten free (meaning it tasted every bit as decedent as a traditional brownie). The brownie is cut into two triangular pieces so it's perfect to split. The whipped cream is PHENOMENAL and the vanilla ice cream obviously makes it that much better! I would definitely return to The Hudson and recommend it to others! Definitely come with an appetite because the portions will fill you up and prepare to take leftovers home!

Holly R.

Yelp
We were seated outside in the most perfect spot, the table closest to the railing, in the corner. It was pretty busy but the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bruschetta was the perfect appetizer. The bread was crispy and light, the Olive tapenade bruschetta was by far my favorite. The apple and Brie was delicious and satisfied my sweet tooth. The Funghi was savory. The mouthwatering grilled pork chops had caramelized apple and candied pecans. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, each bite was a symphony of savory goodness. The perfect blend of seasoning with the buttery mashed potatoes made these pork chops an absolute delight. Definitely going to come back and try it. My date got the butternut squash ravioli. It was like a taste of autumn wrapped in pasta. The delicate pillows of ravioli were filled with creamy, flavorful butternut squash, and each bite melted in my mouth. The sauce was rich and velvety, complementing the sweetness of the squash perfectly. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Danielle H.

Yelp
Had a wonderful birthday dinner here last weekend. Very quaint restaurant with comfortable seating and a very nice outdoor patio. We started with cocktails are the bar which were a bit pricey but delicious. Service at the bar was not great but they were busy and I'm sure they had lots happening with guest and dinner service. Dinner itself was delicious. I had the mushroom burger. First of all, it was huge. It was perfectly cooked and came just the way I asked for it to be done. The table was happy with their food. Two in our party ordered steaks and said they were very good. For a special night out I would certainly recommend. Everything was certainly good enough that if we return to Sedona we would make a reservation.

Jessica M.

Yelp
This place was pretty good. The food was great and the drinks were good. I got an old fashion and a mock tail for my kiddo. The service was good. They do allow dogs inTheir front patio but be aware there are only two tables.

Nicole D.

Yelp
We visited for a late lunch at 230. The hostess brought out to a patio table with a large umbrella. The views were stunning on the patio. Our serve Kayla was very helpful and attentive. My friend ordered a local lager and I had iced tea that tasted house brewed. We shared a Kale Salad and a Chicken Caprese pannini with mayo coleslaw. The food items were fresh and delivered very quickly. The interior has a polished and modern aesthetic with a large bar and lovely banquettes. The parking is limited because The Hudson shares a strip mall space with several vendors. We shopped after lunch at a wellness CBD mash up spot and a boutique.

Soncerae M.

Yelp
Everything was great; from the hostess to the waitress to food and views! I made reservations as soon as they opened (around 60 days out) for 6pm at sunset was for 7pm. We got a notification our table would be ready when we arrived and were able to be seated on the patio (which was the main factor of booking). They have a lot of variety on their menu and every cocktail sounds delicious! So if you're looking for amazing views of the Red Rocks and wonderful food, this is the restaurant for you!

Kruti P.

Yelp
The ambiance, customer service, and food are all wonderful and delicious here. We ordered the artichoke dip for appetizer and the crispy chicken sandwich for entree. Both were delicious. The portobello mushroom sandwich, chicken pot pie, and house salad were also great. The portions are definitely a shareable size.

Jordan S.

Yelp
Get the chicken pot pie! Yes, I said it. The chicken pot pie. This is not your mother's chicken pot pie. This is not your grandmother's chicken pot pie. This is better. And everything else was great, too. Unique setting, clean, open, inviting, great waitstaff and just a fun, relaxing place to dine. You won't find it by driving by. Use a map app because it's tucked away. But definitely seek them out. You won't be disappointed! When back in Sedona, we'll be back for sure. Yes, we'll try other items on the menu, but did I mention "Get the chicken pot pie"?!

Athena B.

Yelp
Great spot with awesome windows for a view of the red rocks. Came on a Monday night and they had no room for 3 for an hour, definitely a popular spot so make sure you reserve in advance! We ended up sitting at the bar and it was delightful. Great service and delicious food!

Andrew C.

Yelp
The Hudson will get 4 stars all day long because of its enviable location and spectacular surroundings, with an outdoor deck built to maximize the views of the red rocks ringing the area. And man, it's 180 degree scenes of stunning red bluffs, especially magical at sunset. That said, it's a slightly-above average restaurant in a spectacular spot, so temper your expectations. It's a good solid menu, with everything from burgers to steaks to salads and pasta. For our order, the food was good, not great - my Ahi Poke Tower brought a nice volume of tuna to the table, but the soy sauce was lacking and the rice, just a clumpy mess. Still tasty, but rushed. My Dark Rye Manhattan, also, very delicious but also very weak, which matters when you're shelling out 18 bones. The service, too, was good, but not great, but I will give major props to the bus boys, who were beyond attentive all night long. Inside, it's a modem vibe with nice high ceilings and a large rectangular bar, but outside is where you wanna be because...again, you're paying for the views, which in my estimation, are worth it.

H M.

Yelp
Food tasty. The drinks were delicious. Service was ok. Server spent a great deal of time on other tables.

Krista V.

Yelp
We had an early dinner here to celebrate my spouse's birthday. I ordered the prime rib slider and it was amazing! It was stuffed with tender prime rib on a pretzel bun with a side of horseradish sauce. Yum! I also ordered three Bruschetta's: street corn (my favorite) red pepper hummus, and blackened shrimp. All were fresh and piled high and were bigger than I thought. (I had leftovers) The blackened shrimp did not taste like it was blackened. My spouse got the baked shrimp which was done well, tasty, had balanced flavors, garlicky but not overpowering. The staff were nice. They have outdoor seating and Mountain View's.

Lorraine B.

Yelp
We didn't have a reservation, there were 6 of us, plus a small baby, the host let us know it was going to be 90 minutes wait :( The host mentioned that the bar was a possibility and he checked with the bartender, it was a perfect! Gorgeous place with a spectacular view of the Red Rock Mountains of Sedona. Fantastic selection of wines by the glass, beers on tap and a full bar. Menu options were spot on, delicious sandwiches, soups and desserts, try their Corn Chowder! The host and bartender were extremely attentive and always there to make sure we had all we needed. Prices are on the higher side, but with the view and the fantastic food, it's totally worth the extra dollars!

Christine M.

Yelp
After a visit to the Chapel in Sedona (gorgeous but very hilly climb!) we found a local restaurant on Yelp with great reviews. The ambiance is stunning as you're surrounded by the beautiful cathedral of mountain peaks and a good dose of natural lighting. We started with one of several options of brushetta- the fresh mozzarella. Very nice and light! We ate during lunch so my daughter had the chicken wrap and I had the bison burger. I ordered medium, but feel it was more rare, but still quite tasty! Staff was very friendly, service was quick. Did not feel like we were attended well. Definitely worth a visit!

Evette S.

Yelp
It's Friday night dinner time, I'm with a local friend who recommended The Hudson. Although, it's normally a bustling busy time, he warned we probably wouldn't get a table...we did! Score! The salmon, wild rice, colorful cauliflower, asparagus & monster of a Brussel sprout were delicious! The salmon had the perfect crisp sear, just how I like it.... Score! And lastly the ambiance was nice, tastefully decorated and clean and our server (Courtney?) was professional, friendly and took great care of us. Score Again! The bottom line, everything was fantastic and I'd say we hit a home run at the Hudson! No pictures this time but we'll be back and I promise to let the phone eat first and maybe even splurge on some dessert. Cheers!

Tanya A.

Yelp
The view was incredible, La La lemon drop was amazing, and we really enjoyed the kale salad. Very chill ambience. Super nice staff

Allyson M.

Yelp
Definitely a five star experience at The Hudson. From start to finish, every single thing was delicious!! We loved the bruschettas - tried the fungi and the elote options - and the whipped feta was garlicky and flavorful. I shared a couple dishes with my mom and they were kind enough to split them for us without us even asking! We had the steak and bleu salad per our server's recommendation -- not something we would typically choose but glad we did. It was excellent. Also enjoyed the Thai scallops! Cocktails were wonderful as well. Server was helpful. A spot we would definitely return to!

Yelp
I travel quite a bit for work and it's not often we have a locations that every course was on point. Do not pass up the deserts! The only critique we could say was the calamari was a little tough but the topping was exquisite! The service was very good and accommodating along with a great view! I would not pass this location up if you have the time. Family friendly as well.

Yelp
Went to The Hudson for Sunday brunch before heading out of town. They were very busy, even on a snowy day. Reservations are highly recommended. We didn't have one and were told our wait would be over an hour. Fortunately, the bar is first come, first serve so we opted to sit at the bar instead. Our bartender was pleasant and attentive. We ordered the following: Coffee Salted soft pretzel bread $16 Sesame seared rare ahi tuna salad $24 Roasted beet salad $19 + chicken $9 The coffee was solid; nice and strong. We started with the pretzels which came with brown mustard and Guinness cheese sauce. I'm a sucker for pretzels and will almost always order it if it's on the menu. Theirs did not disappoint. I ordered the sesame seared rare ahi tuna salad for my entree. It had mixed greens, Napa cabbage, rice noodles, snow peas, carrots, bean sprouts, red peppers, crispy wontons, soy ginger dressing, and of course, rare ahi tuna. The salad was amazing! It had lots of flavor and textures, which I love. The tuna was seared perfectly. My husband ordered the roasted beet salad and added chicken. It came with arugula, roasted beets, shaved radish, marconi almonds, granny smith apples, Vermont goat cheese, and honey Dijon vinaigrette. Another flavorful and textured salad. He thoroughly enjoyed. The space is open with tall glass windows offering stunning views of the red rocks. They also have a large patio, perfect for enjoying the views. It's a bit pricey, but what restaurant in Sedona isn't?

Yelp
Very disappointed. Salad was good. The four of us ordered the Chicken Scallopini. it was overcooked, unseasoned, very bland and sadly lacking. Very disappointing. Too loud and overpriced. .

Yelp
This was our chosen lunch spot for the day since it seemed hard to get reservations for dinner. It seemed like they have the same menu for dinner and lunch and we have the view of the mountains while dining so it was still a win/win situation. The highlight of the food we ordered was probably the appetizer. We ordered the three cheese and artichoke dip and chips. Everything was good. No complaints

Yelp
Amazing food and service with beautiful view of the Red Rocks. Get the Chicken Pot Pie, it could possibly feed a family!

Yelp
Visited Sedona for a few days and came across the Hudson. We didn't have a reservation and the hostess was somewhat rude, told us she couldn't seat us but another guy took our number and called us within 30 minutes. Aside from that, food was great! We were seated outside during sunset, the view was blinding but also gorgeous. Bring a hat and sunglasses if you come at that time. There were 10 of us total, we order drinks, steaks, hot wings, charcuterie, salad, chicken sandwich and burgers. Everything was spot on. TBH the ribeye was better than expected.

Yelp
We went here for the views but forgot about sunsets. Outdoor dining is still great and friendly service. We started with apps as we had snacks before we came. Chose bruschettas which were huge and asked to be split so it's easy to share. Then also got feta spread which was so addicting with honey glaze. We even asked for extra bread to finish it. We ended with beet salad and shrimp as we were full but wanted to have more and chicken was nice and creamy. Go here before sunsets and make reservations and you won't want to leave.

Yelp
Everything about this place is top notch. It was so good that even though we only had a few days in Sedona we went there twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The view from the back deck is wonderful. The food is outstanding and plentiful and the service people were joyful, enthusiastic, and engaging. Highly recommend you get a reservation. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A RESERVATION FOR THIS PLACE !!!! when you first pull up to the it does not seem like much, but when you walk in the view at the back of the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. Because we made a reservation we were immediately sat. Our waitress came over immediately and got us beverages. TRY THE spicy peacharita. The glass is very small but it tastes amazing. We ordered bruschetta which was so darn good - I wanted more ! The chicken Cesar salad was okay but everyone else said their food was to die to.

Yelp
Tried to come for dinner, but the reservations were full, so we Came for lunch. Had À reservation and we were seated immediately. The view is beautiful! And we were able to get a booth. The rib sliders are DELICIOUS! I had a Manhattan and prickly pear cocktail and they both were good. My entree was the fried chicken sandwich and it was flavorful and fried perfectly. And I did dessert to go... IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The strawberry banana butter cake was decadent and delicious. I definitely want to come back!

Yelp
Great place for happy hour and dinner. Southwest Chicken Pasta, Chicken Pot Pie, and the Thai Scallops are excellent choices. All of the salads are also huge and a solid choice for something lighter. Views are good and even the bar seats are nice.

Yelp
Made reservation a month in advance based off a friend's recommendation. First restaurant we visited in Sedona for spring break. It was perfect for lunch as we rolled into town from Phoenix. Perfect mix of ambience, friendly service and great food. Now that we've been here a few days everyone wants to go back...but they're so popular they're booked lol.
