Rarely do I give 5 stars across the board. This place is close First, we're in Abilene, not Dallas, but the food, service and band made it feel like we were a big city (in a good way). The burgers were great. The fried pickles were just ok. The southwest egg rolls were almost as good as Chili's. My only knock was the Shiner sponsorship of the taps. With so many good local beers this feel off.

Excellent spot downtown for a cold drink and food. The hog wings might be one of the greatest creations on the planet. Live music almost every night too. This place is awesome 👌

Really cool place in downtown Abilene. Queso was awesome. Burger was ok. Service was spectacular and the bartender had a great attitude. Very good bourbon selection. The place is run by really nice people.

Lexi was beyond pleasant as a waitress during our time here. I don’t care what anyone else says this is the place to go for a cold beer and good food with even better service

Bad experience.. the bartender “forgot” our drinks, although he didn’t charge them, in the end, but we felt that he ignored us every time we tried to get his attention, my partner felt that the bartender was a bit racist and that was the reason why he attended to others except him, but remember that appearances deceive Ice House.. and we are in Abilene, a diverse community, because of the Air Force base.. I hope I’m wrong, and that the bartender that day, was just having a bad day!!

What a cool place, we were there in the middle of the week and mid day. Had great service, awesome beer selection and I had the Fried bologna sandwich and it was great.
