The Imperial Treasure宝藏: Dim Sum & Authentic Chinese Cuisine

This is by far the most authentic Chinese restaurant we’ve visited since moving to Charlotte two years ago. Most places we’ve tried have been more Americanized — delicious, but not quite like home. This one, however, truly stands out for its authenticity! It’s definitely going to be part of our regular family dinner rotation. The customer service is outstanding, the dishes are perfectly seasoned with generous portions, and the prices are very reasonable. I especially appreciate the thought and care the owner has put into the décor — from the beautiful artwork on the walls to the lush live plants that make the space feel so welcoming. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this gem to our friends. Keep up the amazing work!

Amazing! Wish they kept the name SIZZLE, but the food and the atmosphere are way better than the other spot. The menu is extensive with both China/American and more destination origin dishes like pig intestine and ect. We ordered tons of everything and it was great! The timing is better aswell here, with food coming out quickly and together. Definitely a place you can come back to multiple times to try something new each time. All the dishes were hot to temp, savory and delicious! The prices are astronomically great for the CLT area. The portions are larger than take out and cheaper, but the quality is 1000% fold better. This place could easily be in NYC/San-Fran or Boston china town and be a local heavy establishment! On your way IN OR OUT say hello to the ladies making the dumpling/DimSum and noodles behind the counter!

🥟 Appetizers The spicy wontons were a standout dish with a bold, well-balanced flavor profile and just the right amount of heat. Easily one of the highlights of the meal. The pork soup dumplings and king shrimp siu mai arrived warm and were both very enjoyable, with good texture and flavor. 🍲 Soups We ordered the hot and sour soup, and the portion size was definitely family-style. It was hearty, comforting, and perfect for sharing. 🥢 Mains The Chongqing-style fried diced chicken was another dish we enjoyed; crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. The beef chow fun was delicious, well-executed, and full of savory flavor. The braised pork belly in clay pot was tender and rich, though the garlic was a bit overwhelming and could be toned down for better balance. Unfortunately, the short ribs were a letdown. The quality of the meat was questionable, and we had to send the dish back, which put a bit of a damper on an otherwise strong meal. 🏮 Service Service was attentive and understanding throughout, especially when addressing the issue with the short ribs. It was a busy evening so the dishes did take quite some time to come out. ⭐ Overall Rating: (3.8/5) The atmosphere at The Imperial Treasure is warm and inviting. You’re welcomed by an open kitchen where you can see dumplings being made, which adds to the experience. The menu is well thought out with plenty of pictures. While the misstep with the short rib dish held it back, it is reminiscent of a home-style, authentic kitchen.

We tried Imperial Treasure in Matthews and most of the meal was truly phenomenal. The rainbow dumplings were beautifully made and packed with flavor, the pork and crab soup dumplings were outstanding, the beef short ribs were incredibly tender, and the pork pot stickers were excellent as well. The thousand layer crispy beef dish was also very tasty. The only item we didn’t enjoy was the duck egg yolk pumpkin dish — it had a very strong egg aroma and was a bit off-putting compared to everything else we tried. They offered to remove the item from the bill without us asking when it was barely touched and moved to the side. Overall, though, the food quality and execution were top-tier, and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I am soooo glad I gave this restaurant a second chance.Thefirst time I went it was on a Monday and the food took a long time to come out. This time I took my mom there and the food was absolutely delicious. The food did not take long to come out. Our server Ying was the best. She often checked up on mom and I. Great customer service!!! My mom ordered sesame chicken and it was delicious. I had braised tofu and vegetables. They also have the best pork soup dumplings. The dumplings were big and the porks inside were juicy and delicious. I have to say they have the best Chinese food in Charlotte and I have been in Charlotte like a dinosaur since the late 80s. This place got my mom's approval and I am planning to take my dad there soon. He is a former chef ,and I believe he will love this place. Thank you Imperial Treasure for bringing authentic Chinese food to Charlotte. Also thank you Ying for your excellent customer service. You bring a lot of smiles to customers. Imperial Treasure was fine, but honestly underwhelming—especially for the price and reputation. It’s definitely on the expensive side, and most of the food landed squarely in the “mediocre” category for me. We ordered shrimp rice rolls, which somehow had zero flavor. Like… none at all. We also ordered white rice with one of our entrées, which they forgot to include, along with any utensils or condiments. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize until we got home—25 minutes away. I called, not really concerned about the $2 for the rice, but the response was pretty indifferent: “You can come back and I’ll give you the cash.” Not worth the gas, and not great customer service. It was New Year’s Day, so we ordered early. We were told 30 minutes, but it took almost an hour—and there was no one dining in at the time, which made the wait even more confusing. I grew up spoiled rotten in New York City, a 10-minute walk from Chinatown, so my expectations might be high—but when locals say this is the best Chinese food in Charlotte, I was expecting more. Maybe for a Charlotte palate it hits, but for me it missed. The sesame chicken was overly sweet and soggy, and the honey walnut shrimp (a hefty $27) was gummy and disappointing. The one standout was the pork soup dumplings—they were genuinely good and the best thing we ordered. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but between the prices, food quality, wait time, and service, it’s not a place I’d return to.

Pretty tasty dim sum. Crab Rangoon was good, cooked perfectly, right mixture. The green beans we ordered non spicy, large portion but good. Egg tarts were available so that made me happy. Thicker than I’m used to but great flake on the crust, and custard was decent. The Black Golden Lava Custard buns were pretty! Tasted a bit lemon on the custard, a little gritty but over all pretty good. Spicy wontons were fairly spicy but mostly chili oil spice.

Good dim sum and great entrees with a mix of plenty of traditional dishes with some less-traditional / more American style. Been 3 times so far and the service was great! Will be back to keep trying the menu

I really enjoyed Imperial. The true star here is definitely the dumplings I thought. They make everything fresh, and you can even watch the staff hand-rolling dumplings right in front of you--it really shows how much pride they put into their craft. We came with a large group, and the service was great. The staff was patient, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. The rest of the food was great too, and the overall experience made this spot an easy favorite. I'd definitely come back from time to time. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving quality, fresh dumplings.

1st time here! Amazing place food is delicious and service was excellent, The setting of the restaurant is dope, and makes everything feel open ‼spicy Wongtons are by far my favorite dish here FOOD WAS SO GOOD I ATE EVERYTHING LEFT NO CRUMBS !!!

So yummy the rainbow dumplings, also try the spicy wonton. Authentic Chinese cuisine, not standard American Chinese.

I was doing errands near Matthews, so stopped in for a super-late lunch, around 3 pm... First of all, the place was very nice. Loved the space, with plenty of seatings. It could have used some overhead music though. I also loved the pictured menu...though it was disappointing that Dim Sum was not provided in carts. I figured I'd do Dim Sum on a weekend with my family or friends, so I just ordered Singapore Noodle with Scallion Pancake for my first time here. The foods arrived fairly quickly...but here's where things went wrong. The Singapore Noodle was just WRONG. There were only about 3 shrimps...and the rest were these chunky, crudely cut SAUSAGES in its place! WHAT?!? Also, the noodle was soggy. Frankly, I was shocked that a place as nice as this delivered such a cheap version of Singapore Noodle! I had to point out the abundance of gross SAUSAGES in this plate (instead of the Shrimp and perhaps other veggies even??). Well, she brought the issue up with the kitchen...and I was given a 30% discount. Sadly, even that didn't feel fair...as I absolutely hated this dish, and ended up not eating most of it. What I got was NOT Singapore Noodle...but some cheap variation of it. Again, made mostly of these gross SAUSAGES. Possibly the worst version of Singapore Noodle I've ever had...and this includes all of those cheap take-out places! Both the waitress and the Manager was nice about it...but frankly, I felt it should have been taken off my bill altogether. The Manager mentioned that the kitchen was out of ingredients (or something to that effect...I couldn't understand him fully). I wish they would have let me know that when I placed the order, and I would have gladly ordered something else. Again, I appreciate the discount...but I still felt ripped. I was only able to down maybe 10% of the meal. It was terrible. On a better note, the Scallion Pancakes were good...although I prefer them a bit thinner. Honestly, I was positive that I'd love this place...but the foods basically convinced me otherwise. All I know is that I definitely will not be ordering Singapore Noodle from them again. I don't want to judge the restaurant on this 1 bad dish, so maybe I'll like them better on my future visit? Hopefully I can upgrade my ratings if-when I return to try something different. Surely, their Dim Sum items can't be this bad?? For this meal, however, 2 stars is the best I can muster.

This place was a very pleasant surprise The outside of the restaurant makes you think it's old time, cheap but once you go in it looks so clean and modern. Decorations are really nice Service was great and we got so many different dumplings and stuff. The sake options were very good. The fried taro sugar coated dessert is GIANT. Beware! Would definitely go back again!

I drove 1.5 hra to try this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The siu mai, stuffed tofu w shrimp, honeycomb trip and dragon egg were among my favorites. I went w a group and the service was great. They checked in w the table frequently and we didnt have to wait. The food was flavorful, ambiance was cozy. I will drive the distance for this restaurant.

This is a very fancy looking restaurant for it to be pretty affordable! The fried rice was delicious as well as the noodles we got. The spicy dumplings were really good. The sesame chicken was good but my personal tastebuds do not like sweet and I should've read up on that. I would love to go back one day and try the other meats! Plenty of parking here as well.

Back for a repeat visit. Me and my two Sons, Ben & James were joined by Isla for an early Dim Sum lunch on a Saturday around 11a. Our waiter, Taylor did an excellent job explaining some of the Dim Sum options. We went with some of our previous favorites, the Shrimp Shiu Mi, the Har How and Char Siu Bao. This time the Jasmine tea was fresh and hot. Unfortunately no sugar free sweetness for the tea, only rock sugar which wasn't really that sweet anyway. They now have Diet Coke!

I was excited to try dim sum here, but it just fell a little flat for me. The food was okay, but nothing felt particularly fresh or special--it honestly tasted like it was just reheated. The only dish I'd recommend is the skewered meat; that was the only thing with any real flavor. On the bright side, the service was really good.

We stopped by on a Sunday early afternoon and were promptly seated in the very large dining area. Our server Ana was so friendly and helpful. The menu is huge and authentic, I was thrilled to see durian on the menu. We ordered many items and they each were delivered hot and were so delicious. The restaurant is great for large groups or even for two people who ordered enough food for a large group.

Excited to have a restaurant here in CLT that offers dim sum. To preface, heard from family and friends that the service was not up to par when they recently came to try them out but this time around everything came out fast and efficient. Our server Taylor was great and made our experience better. When I say, everything we tried was delicious... I liked everything that came out. The king shrimp shumai is definitely a favorite of mine. We ordered spicy dumplings, soup dumplings, chicken feet, spare ribs, and a full order of the roasted duck. The duck entree came with another dish that was highly recommended, as well as some scallion pancake 'wraps'. These can be eaten and wrapped with the duck. It comes with a side of julienne cut cucumbers and green onions (scallions). As well as sauce (hoisin). This was actually quite tasty with the duck, even though I've never ate with it before. To end dinner, we tried the chocolate dumpling dessert which oozed of rich, decadent chocolate.

The honey glazed char siu changed my life. I didn't try as much as I wanted to when I went, but it's on my list to return.

The ambience is very nice and elegant decor. The waitress was efficient and extremely helpful. I loved the menu w pictures and the food was delicious very well made handmade dumplings. Prices for lunch are very affordable and great quality and price. I pass by often and never entered. Happily surprised. Will be returning.

The Imperial Treasure is a great Dim Sum spot! On my first visit, the table tried the salt and pepper tofu, spicy wontons, and pork soup dumplings. The tofu was delicious, light, and paired well with a little of the table soy sauce and chili oil. The spicy wontons had great flavor and texture, but the pork soup dumplings were perfect. Great texture and ratio of meat to broth plus the dipping sauce was a great addition. I will come back for those alone. Not pictured was the vegetable lo mein - tasty but nothing special.

This restaurant has a lot of promises and hopes for the Authentic Chinese Food scene in Charlotte. When it was open, it had mixed reviews. A lot of the bad reviews are usually, they went out of items or waiting for too long. Well guys it is opening time, they are not going to be perfect. This review is mix of three times that I went. First this place is pretty, the decor is awesome. They have some round tables for big families and looks like private room for party. It has a very welcoming feel. Also they have great choice on their dishes, plates, and cups. It looks great and made with plastic that it is easy to pick up to share food. Then the services also amazing, the last three times that I was there, the service was excellent, the staff cares about their job and talks to everyone very nicely. I also like that they have iPad to put in the order, makes it fast and simple. The food also tastes excellent. I enjoyed their Soup dumplings and mostly their Dim Sum dishes. One of the times that I went here was during the Christmas holiday, they were really busy, I can tell that the restaurant didn't have enough time to marinate the meat, if it was marinated longer it would has better taste. Lastly I made reservations for this place two times, both times it was on point and the front desk staff took great care of us. Overall great experience, I think it has room for improvement for better taste. Looking forward to come back again

I am so happy to be able to update this review to a 5 stars. We went back Saturday afternoon so I could try Pork Congee with Century egg that I could t order last time. We ordered house special fried rice, fried green beans, pork char sieu steam buns, pork soup dumplings, and shrimp Hargow. All were delicious. The best improvement was service. Tom, our server was attentive and friendly. Our foods came out promptly and I'm looking forward to adding this restaurant to our regular night out rotation for Matthews.

Yum!! A delicious dim sum in Charlotte? I've been waiting for years. We came in and there were about 6 parties ahead of us. We did ask to sit at the bar and we got seated soon after! It's not the cart style dim sum that I've been used to growing up in Vegas, but you order from the menu and they make it all to order. The place is so clean and smells great. Bathroom is also clean! The food was all delicious! It took a bit to come out, but if they're making them all fresh, I'm okay with this! We got the green beans, pork steamed buns, pork soup dumpling, shrimp shu mai, shrimp rice long noodle (I can't remember the name!), beef in black bean, and sesame balls. 7 dishes for less than $80! Everything was delicious. Stand outs were the green beans, soup dumplings, and the sesame balls. When I ordered the sesame balls, our server said "these are my favorite too!" They were HOT and soooo flavorful. I can't wait to come back

Stopped in for dinner after craving Chinese food and was incredibly satisfied. Menu is expansive, and includes an awesome dim sum selection. Space is large and bright, and server was sweet and attentive. Absolutely intend to return.

We came in from Raleigh to meet my family here that lives in Charlotte. The green beans were fire! The fish dish was spicy, yet delicious. Most of the dishes that we had were excellent, but our favorite hands-down was the shredded pork and garlic sauce. Lick the plate clean!

Today was my first time coming here and it is still their soft opening period. They do not have the dim sum carts yet but will have them once they officially open. The place was open, very nicely lit, clean, and had a good amount of seating options. For a party of 2 we ordered many of the quintessential tapas. Everything was made fresh and was hot off the stove. I really enjoyed the seasoning of the foods and their own spins on classics. We especially loved the lava bao bun! The service was great and the food came out as it was cooked. We even got a treat on the house which was lovely. It's a little pricy, but it's a pretty good dim sum option for the area! I can see my family enjoying this place in the future.

Super excited that a new dimsum restaurant is opening up in Matthews! Since we came on their grand opening weekend, they're still trying to figure out their flow, so expect slow service. When coming in, make sure to scan the QR code at the hostess counter to get put on the waitlist. We started off with the hot tea and it took forever for them to get hot water and even when it did come out, it was lukewarm but the second pot was hot. Overall, taste for all food dishes was delicious! I loved the chili oil, which was also spicy and flavorful. I will return when they get all situated and they bring out the carts, which they said will be in two weeks. As of right now, they're only doing ordering service. Interior was clean and decorated well. Would recommend if you're looking to try dimsum or other Chinese dishes, just be mindful that they have slow service right now.

Is the health rate changes ugh 90 is bad that means they don't do enough cleaning. Putting customer in danger.

Came here for the lunch specials and was pleasantly surprised by hot and fresh food! The interior is very clean and I hope to come back to try more food from their menu!

Must Go! Be prepared to wait but just know it is absolutely worth it! Best Chinese in Charlotte, hands down. I cannot wait to go back and order new items! Between two of us, we ordered so much food (felt like half the menu) and the price was extremely reasonable! The restaurant itself is cute and has an area where dumplings are hand made and our table was in a little nook. The bathroom needs some work. Tom the server also deserves a shout out! Just go. Go next door and grab a drink while you wait (no alcohol in restaurant)!

The quality has declined. If someone is hungry, yes, they taste good. But very upset that most of the food that I normally like to order were not even meet the normal standard. Yet, we leave enough tips to the server Who's not the cook.

SOOOOO GOOD! Another Asian restaurant that is spot on in the CLT area. Dang that dim sum was out of this world!!! The beef chow fun came recommended, and it was delish. The shrimp with vegetables and chicken fried rice were also great dishes to share. I of course loved the spicy sauces available at the table and didn't have to ask for anything extra. I would most likely come back for that dim sum and hot jasmine tea. Lots of space inside and nicely decorated.

First time ordering from Imperial Treasure. i was pretty excited but it was squashed when i got my order. 3 Items we had General Soos Chicken -- Very good Lots of meat ! Pork Fries Rice - Flavorless - and old rice -couldn't find the Pork Beef and Scallions - Some of the meat was too chewy and some was just okay - very stewed and not much flavor ! No extra sauces or white rice entrees were over 20.00 a piece Very disappointed!

I need to go back again asap. I just got a general Tso's lunch special, and it wasn't anything amazing, but I have high hopes for their dim sum and more traditional dishes. I looked at a lot of the reviews and it seems like they have quite a few fans that set up accounts just to give this place a really good review... Hmmmm...? I was thoroughly impressed with the decor as soon as I walked through the door. A whole area dedicated to in house handmade pastries!? Yes please! As per service, there was nobody up front when I walked in, so I wasn't quite sure how to pickup my food. I had to use the rest room anyhow, so I did that and when I got back there was a man there. He was on the phone, but he still helped me out promptly. As per the food... It wasn't as good as I was hoping for. I wanted this to be tied with the only 2 other good Chinese places in town (Cherry Blossom/taste of Shu and Lam's Kitchen). I blame me for what I ordered though, not them. I need to go back and I need to do it soon. I want pork soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, beef short ribs, Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce, beef with jalapeno, braised pork belly in a clay pot, lamb with cumin, all the fish dishes, XO sauce chow fun, and some duck. If anybody wants to go in and order everything family style pm me! Let me know! If it doesn't tickle my pickle let me find out now so I can go back to my other go to's!

It has been a while since Charlotte has seen a full service dim sum restaurant, so I was excited to check this place out. The Imperial Treasure opened up a few months ago and offers dim sum and other Chinese food. There is a really modern and clean ambiance inside of the restaurant. I also really like the wall art and decor. There is an area near the front of the restaurant where you can watch some staff make pastries in real time through a glass window, which is pretty cool. It can get busy during typical popular dim sum hours, so just be mindful when you come here with a large party. My server was also really friendly and nice! There are so many options to choose from on their menu. They have dim sum and regular Chinese food. My friends and I ordered a lot! Mostly from the dim sum menu as that was what we wanted. The food arrived in staggered times as expected, but it did not take as long as I thought it would with the amount that we ordered. We got the Crab & Pork Soup Dumpling, Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce, Dry Sautéed Green Bean, Scallion Pancake, Beef Chow Fun, Hong Kong Egg Tart, Rainbow Boiled Dumpling, Steamed Crystal Shrimp Dumpling, Honey Glazed Char Siu, and Black Golden Lava Custard Bun. I will say that I did not see a dim sum cart when we went (around lunch time on a Sunday). The Dry Sautéed Green Bean could have been cooked a bit longer as I thought that most of the green beans were still a bit too firm and I prefer Chinese style green beans to be cooked more thoroughly so that it looks almost shriveled, haha. I think that the green beans could have had more sauce on them as the sauce was mostly at the bottom, but overall, that dish was not bad. I love chicken feet, but I did not think that their Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce were marinated in the black bean sauce long enough. The Scallion Pancake was different than the ones that are usually at Chinese restaurants. These pancakes were thicker and fluffier, unlike the usual thin size of scallion panes. It also tasted a bit undercooked inside and I think there should have been more scallions, but I was able to eat it. I liked their Beef Chow Fun; however, it was not seasoned enough for me so I had to add soy sauce and chili oil to the dish to make it taste better. I thought that their Steamed Crystal Shrimp Dumpling was fine, as well as their Hong Kong Egg Tart, although the egg custard itself was more flan-like than I expected. My friends ate the dumplings, which they thought needed more flavor, specifically in the Rainbow Boiled Dumpling. They also liked the Honey Glazed Char Siu, but noted that it tasted a bit greasy. I would say that the best dish for my friends and I was the Black Golden Lava Custard Bun. Not only was this an aesthetic dessert, but the custard inside was salty, sweet, and runny (hence the word "lava" in the name of the fish) and the bun itself was soft. It was perfect to eat and definitely the highlight of my visit here. Obviously, people have different preferences for how they prefer their food to taste and I can see that a lot of people like this place so far, so please take my review with a grain of salt. In reality, I would give this place a 3.5/5. I would say that the dishes here were just fine enough, but there could be more seasoning and flavor to better the food. I think that this place can definitely improve in the future! Also, another option for dim sum that is not necessarily close but definitely a feasible drive from Charlotte is going to Atlanta. There are a lot of dim sum restaurants there that I prefer more.

So, a couple of weeks back I tried coming here on a Sunday around lunch time and of course there was a wait. They told us 40 minutes or so and we were about 20th in line. I wish there was a way to check in before you got to the place. But instead you can only get on the waitlist when you get there. They need a better system for busier time. The inside is beautiful. Love the koi dishes on the ceiling. The table decoration and bright lighting is also awesome. So pretty. I like the area where you can see the workers making the dumplings in the front. The food was decent. My most favorite was probably the chicken feet. Shumai was too big, I like it better when the shrimp are smaller pieces. The congee want the best, it needed salt and pepper and it was bland. The veggies with tofu was good, flavorful. Portion was decent too. Parking , they share parking with other businesses. can be hard to find if it's busy time. The stuff are nice and informative. Nothing else to complain. Could say the price is a little overpriced for the quality. But excited to give it another try.

White lights at night are too harsh which makes it unenjoyable. Maybe it works during the daytime but not at night especially for customers wearing eyeglasses. The kitchen was so slow that we cancelled the last dish. The main dish we ordered was fried diced chicken n it was just fried breadedness which I couldn't even distinguish any chicken in it. Luckily we ordered dry sautéed green beans which at least filled me with the white rice u hv to pay for. Don't think we'll be coming back.

We went during soft opening week on a Friday, you scan the QR code at the desk to get on the wait list. The wait was about 30 minutes at around 2pm on a Friday. So they're pretty busy. Food was great!! The menu is extensive so there's lots to choose from. We ordered the soft opening lobster special, thousand layer beef batty, beef chow fun, and the sweet and sour shrimp. The chow fun has that wok hay taste which I like but can use a little more soy sauce and sweetness. Lobster was live and fresh but they didn't have any noodles that day but the dish was supposed to come with noodles. The beef pancake was crispy and good. The sweet and sour shrimp are good too but didn't come with rice. Overall, we would definitely come back again. The only negative is it's a little pricey! Highly recommended the soup dumplings!! So good!!

For only being open two weeks kudos to Imperial for having a line nearly out the door. No wonder why, because the food was delicious. Reminded me of any top notch spot in Chinatown in NYC between flavors and quality. Regrettably only took one picture because I was too busy diving into the soup dumplings and spicy wontons. Beef chow fun was great as was the crab Rangoon. While I wish the skin on the duck was crispier the meat was tender and delicious. You can tell they designed this place very meticulously and beautifully. Very authentic and traditional

What a delight! This new dim sum place is in a word delicious. The interior is cool and hip. We arrived early before the lunch rush and we're happy that we did. The food options are tremendous, the service was very good and the food was hot, fresh and made to order. We asked the manager about food carts which I have seen at other dim sum restaurants but they probably will not have them there as they are very concerned about the quality of their food and don't want something to sit for too long and not be as good as it should be. I respect that. We had five different types of dim sum and all were pretty tasty. The soup dumplings were awesome as was the beef pancake which was crispy and filled with beefy goodness.

This is my second time back, Food was absolutely amazing ! Service was outstanding. Glad this place exists, every time I'm in town I'm will be back.

Amazing! Food is so good. The real deal, a wide variety of choices, including dim sum. Charlotte needed a quality Chinese restaurant. The place is large, clean and tables are not too close together. Ambiance is neutral, not high end, trendy or super cosy, nor is it fast food or low end. You can take your family there or a date. Service was great each time we went.

I had the pleasure of attending their soft opening for dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We had pre-ordered the Peking duck, which was carved tableside with finesse. The skin was perfectly crispy, and the duck itself was bursting with flavor. An added bonus was the winter melon soup they made using the duck bones after carving, a delicious and comforting complement to the meal. In addition to the duck, we also sampled a variety of other dishes: Cumin Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Lobster Noodles, Snow Pea Leaves with Garlic, and Pan-Fried Dumplings. Every dish tasted authentic, and I appreciated the traditional approach of bringing out each dish as it was ready, rather than all at once, just as you'd expect from a genuine Chinese restaurant. The service, while a bit slow, was understandable given it was their first day, but the food was worth the wait. I'm excited to return soon to explore their dim sum menu, which is served until 4 p.m. Overall, a fantastic first impression, please go and support these authentic restaurants that are popping up in Charlotte so that we continue to get more.

Really enjoyed the beef rice noodle rolls. The generous portions were appreciated by my hungry companion. Service was prompt and attentive, no complaints. Love how clean the restaurant was but the decor leaves something to be desired. Overly bright fluorescent lights blinded me during the entire meal. Wasn't relaxing after a day of staring at the computer.

As for the food it is massive servings. And absolutely delicious. As for the service, you can't get any better they are absolutely friendly absolutely very sweet and nice.. The ambience is off the hook. The place is absolutely clean and beautiful. Everything looks absolutely gorgeous. today is my second time going there the first time just blew me away. Second time I was able to sit and take everything in and it's just nothing I ever seen in a Chinese restaurant especially the lighting. I can't wait to go back again.

If I could give less than a one star I would. After purchasing multiple dim sum items and ONE entree to share with my partner for take out, they handed me the bag and said good night. Great! Well I've learned to double check items when getting take out especially places that are 20 min away. Turns out they only had dim sum items and no entree. When I came back inside to ask, they said oh whoops sorry and started getting cash from the register. Why would you not call the customer (who provided multiple forms of contact info in the restauran's own online ordering system)? The hostess told me she didn't have my phone number... even though it's printed literally on the taped receipt on the bag. When I asked if there was any comparable dish available I was told no. However when asked directly if the beef version was possible (I ordered pork) they said yes but that I would be required to pay the $2 difference in price from the pork version I ordered 45 minutes before. Now I get to sit here and wait another 25 minutes while the rest of my food gets cold. Candidly I hope this food is amazing, but man the service was BAD. We're new to area and have been looking for a good dim sum place that we can make a regular spot. This place had great reviews and we had high hopes. All I can say is make sure to check all your items before leaving the restaurant when ordering takeout!

Great experience everything we had was delicious. Favorites were the sweet and sour chicken and the dumplings. You must end your dinner with the golden lava buns, they are so good! Our server liv was very nice and helpful will be back soon!

Food: frozen, thawed and cold dim sum. Not at all fresh! Service: was there one? Spent 30 minutes before getting our order. Ambiance: short-staffed and small facility. It seems that Asian people were prioritized. Bad impression!

Food was good and for Charlotte, its good enough and wouldve given it a 4 if I was only comparing it to location in the state only. I rate it 3.5 stars as I have had amazing dumplings and dim sim before specifically California so in a way its hard to beat that. This place has tons of options to choose from. The prices are reasonable as well. Service was good and the restaurant does have a semi fanciness to it. Overall I would recommend this every once in awhile. The drive is too far for me so I prob wont go back unless Im passing by and craving dim sum.

Everything was excellent! I went on Father's Day as a goal to try a new restaurant. They did not disappoint the space was comfortable, clean, and well decorated. The waitress was prompt and sharp. The food was delicious. I'm definitely going back.

Authentic Chinese cuisine for sure. Amazing service. Maggie and Taylor were awesome. Chinese food with southern hospitality.

We arrived before noon on a Saturday and there was no wait and parking was a breeze. A decent dim sum restaurant. Some dim sum plates were not what we expected. Pictures can be deceiving. The taro "pancake" was unusual and not what we expected. Average dim sum plate=$7.95. Good customer service and friendly staff.

What a hidden "Treasure" this was! Authentic cuisine with a very customer friendly menu. Friendly staff and very clean/unique setting. My favorite dish was the Garlic Pork. It was fantastic.
