Absolutely love this place! Drinks, besides having any kind of tropical drink you could think of, were fabulous! The food was all really good! Don't be fooled by small food menu! All the food they have is great, large menu not necessary! Atmosphere is Awesome and lots of really different and cool places to sit. Really cool decor to look at all over. Would definitely recommend trying it!

We enjoyed our tiki cocktails. Probably not our all time favorite for the style but very respectable. The Rangoon appetizers were very tasty. Unfortunately both entrees we ordered, the pineapple rice dish and the noodles, were very underwhelming. They seemed more appropriate for carryout, frozen meal; or college dorm quality. Our dishes also came out around 10 minutes apart, and the service overall was slow and spotty. The food and drinks were all overpriced as well, particularly for Indy. We would return for cocktails and possibly apps, but not for entrees.

Have been waiting over a year to visit the ambiance of this beautiful restaurant. And it is truly stepping into another world in the small fountain square town. But thats all it was for us unfortunately. The food needed so much flavor and heat. It was dull and boring. Spent close to $100 for one drink, pineapple rice, mushroom pho noodles and crab ragoons that didn't seem to have much crab, not to hot and dipping sauce that tasted like it came out of a bottle don't know what it was. Disappointed and wont be back unfortunately.

As a professional in craft cocktails this place BLEW ME AWAY. The balance and creativity on this menu was insane, the presentation was gorgeous, and the atmosphere was super cozy yet upscale. I cannot rate this highly enough, one of the top 5 bars I've ever been to. (Also, try the painkiller, it's nuts.)

This was our first time & we didn't regret it. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, vibe, drinks & the food. It was our 11th year Anniversary & my husband's birthday. The hour & half drive was worth it. Service was great. It was crowded in a good way I loved the way our seating was made, it was more romantic & enjoyable moments.

Google
This place really is funky. Crazy masks all over the place, low lighting, exotic looking cocktails. We went on a random weekday and it was packed. We got the last table right by the bar and got to watch as waitresses lit cocktails on fire and delivered them to many oohs and ahs. The service was slow but it was really busy. The food was surprisingly good and flavorful. I got the deep fried tofu and it was one of the best I’ve had. Great crunch, served with sticky rice and some sort of delightful sauce. My boyfriend got the noodles and ate every last bite.

Google
This was our first time. The style of decor was unique. It was so dark in there and the red lights didn’t make it any better. We didn’t get an explanation of the menu so when we ordered and told the waiter that we would be sharing the chicken wings to be exact, he never explained that the particular dish we ordered was actually a chicken sandwich and not chicken wings. We looked at the menu again and noticed how the chicken wings were at the top and what we ordered was under a category Label sandwiches. So I didn’t have a dish to eat, which made me anxious to leave some I was getting hungry and didn’t want to keep waiting since everyone else had their dishes. There were five of us and only one person liked their dish which was the rice. I tried it. It was good. The chickpea dish was not good. The drinks are cute, I ordered the painkiller with extra strength. It was juice and not as starting as he said for $17 + $4 extra for extra and I tasted no extra. Oh there was extra ice tho which I specifically asked for light ice since I’m anemic. Finally, once we left our eyes were burning cause of the bright sunlight. If you visit this place maybe night time would be better for your eyes.

Google
My friend and I stopped in for a quick drink before a concert. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere was so fun - we enjoyed it for sure!! Fun fact - majority of their artifacts are real and super old!

Yelp
This was THE best bar I've visited while in Indy and I hit quite a few of them. Amazing vibes, beautiful art and great service, please do not miss this place!!! Kendall was awesome and pulled out all the stops for us. I mentioned I was from Guyana where they make El Dorado rum and she pulled out all of the various years they had. It was quite special and made me feel like we were at the right place at the right time. A moment I'll never forget, thank you Kendall! We got some food to munch on and it absolutely hit the spot! Cannot say more about this place- thank me later!

Adrianne B.

Yelp
Fantastic tiki bar with multiple sections, two bars, and a second floor. I visited as part of their annual Makahiki event and was wowed by the decor, theming, extensive cocktail menu, and the overall vibe. The tropical bread pudding was deliciously rich and sinful, and the cocktails were spectacular. I adored all of the details, from the pufferfish lamps, to the octopus toilet paper holder in the ladies' room! Bravo to Inferno Room for curating such a cool space. Their employees deserve major accolades for managing such a high volume over the busy event weekend and for nearly 12 hours' worth of service!

Anna L.

Yelp
The ambiance is fun for a date night, but a little dark when you're out with friends. I love the drinks, and the food I've tried is good, if slightly overpriced for what it is. Service was standard. This is a go to for a Fountain Square date night drink with my hubby.

William P.

Yelp
My favorite bar in Indy. The drinks are so fun and they have many options. They are a little pricey but it's worth it. Lots of ice in the drinks. Food is also good. The atmosphere alone is enough to make you visit!

Bonnie B.

Yelp
First dinner in Indianapolis as a temporary resident and it met every expectation, even at 11pm! Vieited on a Saturday night at around 11pm but was greeted and seated upon entering with no wait. Drink menu, dinner menu, and dessert menu all provide unique Hawaiin options that all taste fantastic! The decor and atmosphere are a bonus! (:

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Perfect tiki themed restaurant First time at The Inferno Room and it was amazing! We went during a First Friday and got right away. So many drink selections! I loved the mocktail 'Coocoonut Grove'! I would go back just for that drink! We also got the chicharrones which were so tasty with the kimchi pimento. The service was so kind and fast! We'll definitely be back for drinks and apps!

Amy M.

Yelp
This place is so interesting! We came for the fancy cocktails and they did not disappoint. They have fancy mocktails on their menu, which makes me want to come back even more! There are two bars on the ground level and more seating upstairs. Highly recommend taking a look around at all the Papa New Guinea art. The owners put a lot of effort into the decor giving this place its own vibe. We had excellent service and will definitely come back!

Tessa F.

Yelp
The atmosphere here is unmatched! This Tiki Room has great drinks and food as well! The pineapple rice (add chicken) is fantastic and we always have to get the crab rangoon! They have very unique drinks and I loved the Painkiller because of the unexpected dash of nutmeg! The Inferno Room is such a fun experience if you're near Fountain Square!

Greg W.

Yelp
TIR like a must go to spot while out in the Fountain Square area. Whether you need a rally moment or not I think nothing gets a night going like a good tiki bar. This spot is expansive so you will usually find plenty of room for your party, tons of cool seating. You can order the traditional drinks or go for exclusive fountain square drinks - all are good.

Alesha M.

Yelp
The Inferno Room is Fountain Square's go-to Tiki Bar, but the food is not to be missed either. The atmosphere is laid back, dark, and mysterious. There are lots of little nooks and crannies so all the dining feels private. The servers are casual and it's a great energy for introverts alike. The menu is a rotating fun, creative menu that boosts in-season produce and sources local when possible with a fun Tiki twist. Most of the items have some heat, just keep this in mind. They do not have a separate fryer for seafood, etc so if you have allergies double-check with your server on what's safe. They also have a lot of veggie options. They have a wide variety of rum including locally made 18th street distillery rum and Three Floyd's rums. I finally found a daiquiri I liked, Three Floyd's Rum - honey simple - lime. Absolute perfection and doesn't taste like an artificially flavored overly sweet gas station drink. Perfect for date night or a casual burger at the bar.

Steven William M.

Yelp
A phenomenal and immersive tiki bar and restaurant experience. You do pay for what you get, but I can highly recommend the mid-century zombie in Hawaiian chicken bowl. The bread pudding was amazing but changes seasonally and Ican only speak toward the summer/pre-fall version with pineapple. One of the best bread puddings I ever had. The wait staff are attentive, but also know when to leave you alone to just enjoy the ambience. Pound for pound a must see in Indianapolis.

Cindy K.

Yelp
I've been to The Inferno Room before but it is ALWAYS a hit with me! The drinks are pieces of art, and they are generous with their liquor pours. The staff is always attentive and I've never had to wait for a private, fairly secluded table. The atmosphere is fun and transports you right out of Indiana, amazing attention to detail. And now they offer more of a menu instead of just appetizers, which I am here for! We just had a basket of fries this time but they were PERFECTION! Hot, crisp...not oily. All in all a wonderful night!

Ari K.

Yelp
For sure one of my top favorite bars in Indy. This cozy spot crafts tropical and show stopping drinks. The ambiance is classic tiki bar and the staff was very cool. The drinks take time to prepare, but a lot of them have like 10 components, so patience is needed, but well worth the wait in my opinion.

Sophie O.

Yelp
Monchiko Chicken 8.4 (mochiko chicken tenders / bbq sauce / corn~pineapple fritters / mac salad) - delicious! Dark meat chicken tenders went kinda cracra. Came with a very strong pineapple sauce. The corn-Pinneapple fritters weren't good but love everything else Shrimp Rangoon 8.2 (shrimp / cream cheese / sweet & sour sauce) - prefer a crab Rangoon but still flames. Came with a very fruity sauce, not sweet and sour. Mac Salad 7.3 - I've had better but still good Banh Dog 8.75 (all beef frank / passion fruit mayo / pickled veggies / crispy shallots / cilantro / fries) - this hotdog was fat. Loved all the topics, definitely was in flavortown. Blue Hawaii (Vodka / Blue Curacao / Pineapple / Lemon) Midcentury Zombie (rums / lime / lemon / pineapple / passion fruit) Cursed Vision (vodka / rum / blue curacao / chili liqueur / allspice / lychee / honey / vanilla / lime) Overwater Bungalow (rum / aloe / melon / kiwi / pineapple / honey / lemon) Painkiller (Rum / Pineapple / Orange / Coconut / Nutmeg)

Christa N.

Yelp
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I wish I had seen a review like this before I went here. Sadly, the food had no flavor. I got the poke bowl with spam and I was still lacking flavor. It was also very expensive. The atmosphere is fun and I enjoyed my drink, so I would recommend just going for drinks and eating elsewhere.

Christina B.

Yelp
I did not fully understand what I was walking int to. My friend suggested it and said it was a tiki bar so of course I was down. The outside is very nondescript. We actually walked past it the first time. But the skull-themed border around the door is a giveaway. I expected a few palm fronds and theme-y drinks but when we walked in we were transported to the islands. Their website says they have the largest collection of Papua New Guinea native art outside of a museum. The drink menu is a little overwhelming but I'm sure you can't go wrong. I had the Coocoonut Grove mocktail and it was definitely the best mocktail, cocktail, beverage of any kind I've ever had. I wasn't sure about cinnamon with coconut but it definitely goes together. The table next to us ordered the firewalker drink and it was a whole tableside experience. We just ordered an appetizer since we were going to dinner later. The disco fries were hot, salty, and delicious. The staff were friendly and we got our foods and drinks quickly. I truly felt like I was on vacation, so I'll be back!

Holly S.

Yelp
We tikiphiles came here from FL. It's a must see if in Indy. Great tiki bar decor. Great food. Great tiki drinks. Brent and staff were very gracious. Would definitely return

Sarah G.

Yelp
There wasn't any sign on the door so had no idea what I was getting myself into. We walked in and I was totally knocked out by how amazing the whole place looked. I was blown away. It looked a bit imposing but was so exquisite. We were seated upstairs, overlooking the entryway. Everyone was very casual. The seating in the corner had a low table and high back chairs. The cocktail drinks we ordered were absolutely beautiful with edible flowers adorning the tall glass. It was filled with too much ice and not enough drinkable drink for the price. Not sure I'll order any of those again. The main course was a poki bowl of sushi with shrimp chips... which was a lot different than what I expected. I doubt I'll order it again but it was fine. My SO ordered the Szechuan green beans which were so delicious that I'd go back just for that. It was not as spicy as I feared but packed with flavor. I'm excited about going back again with more friends.

Ayla N.

Yelp
Stopped in for celebratory birthday drinks this weekend, loved the tiki vibes! This place has a unique history, courthouse/ jail turned tiki bar... took a mini tour before leaving, the tiki vibes continued to an outdoor patio(not yet set up) - looking forward to summer cocktails! Need a mid-week, faux-cation... this place will make you feel like you're on an island!

Kecia B.

Yelp
The ambiance of this place cannot be beat! Transport yourself to mid-century Hawaii by just walking through the front door. Tiki masks, shrunken heads, lighting to simulate sunsets and fires, cocktails that are on fire...literally! Food and drinks were delicious. A few minor complaints... They don't take reservations. There seemed to be a miscommunication with our order. Someone took our drink order, but then our server came and took our food order. I think our drink order got lost as a result. Our entrees arrived before our cocktails which was disappointing as I prefer sit and enjoy my cocktail before my meal arrives.

Daviana C.

Yelp
I really liked this place for drinks out with friends while in Fountain Square. We were hopping into various spots for a girls night of fun. After getting a meal at another location, we came here for drinks. -we were carded so I'm not sure if kids are allowed. It was also 11pm at night so that could be a reason. -they have a simple wait service, no phone call, text, or buzzer when your group is ready. Just be by the door to hear your name. -can't comment on food because it wasn't my priority while there. -drinks are all cute and instagramable! They even have one they light on fire! It had coffee which I'm not a fan of or I would've gotten it.

George R.

Yelp
A legit tiki bar in the heart of Fountain Square. Beautiful decor - someone who really cares to make things look good took their time with this place. Significantly better than that other place around the block in every aspect. Drink specials were delicious. You can also just get a simple mai tai because they'll get it right. Staff was friendly, professional, and fast. The food was on point. Try the pineapple fried rice with chicken or the egg rolls.

Josie M.

Yelp
This is my second time here and all I can say is - the only thing working harder than the decor is the ice machine! The amount of ice in the drinks results in ~3 oz of drink for $13-14. The drinks are tasty and tropical, but VERY underwhelming. I wish they were worth getting. You walk in and it feels like an entirely new world, but they took it a bit too far. Every wall is covered in bamboo, palms, or fishing net and puffer fish are used as the lights. Another con: the music put me to sleep. My advice - put more time and effort into the drinks and service than the decor.

Jen S.

Yelp
The Inferno Room @ Indianapolis was an AWESOME end to the Indy leg of our anniversary tiki tour 2022 Open late! They've got this right! Delicious and showy and powerful drinks, absolutely stunning collection of Papua New Guinea art, cozy booths. Classic style with touches of neon -- dark with dangerous red lighting, grass mat textures, half-boarded-up windows. Music was perfect. Food was kinda meh; we tried Rice (too salty) & Crab Rangoon. Drinks and atmosphere are definitely the focus here! I'd return for sure, a little earlier in the night so I can appreciate more fully! Small swag store (where we scored some clearance plantation rum mugs for $15). Proprietary mugs are pretty pricey but saw plenty going out the door! We sampled: - Singapore sling - Jet pilot - Chicha colada - Painkiller (we had regular style, NOT extra strength), our favorite of these tasty treats

Laura M.

Yelp
I'm probably one of the few people who's never been to the Inferno Room before. Will be there more often now! The decor is amazing and it's a nice size venue. The drink menu is very creative and drinks are delicious. I had the Margarita Tropicale which I know isn't what people think of at a tiki bar but hey it has mezcal and prickly pear. They have a nice varied menu. The Pacific Southwest Chips similar to nachos were terrific! The Szechuan Green Beans with garlic and chili had a nice kick. I tried the Bikman Burger with the beyond patty which was nicely done. The fries that come with the meal are some of the best I've had. I normally pass on fries but wouldn't do it here. Our server Nathan was very helpful. This is a fun place when you want something different.

Ellen F.

Yelp
I always love a mocktail friendly restaurant but Inferno Room does a great job with helping the flair factor! The ambiance is super cool and I really like the patio, it feels very comfy and intimate. The portion sizes for meals are a bit closer to appetizer size, and then our appetizer (Disco Fries 10/10) was closer to meal size! Overall, our food: Disco fries - with gravy and cheese curds (10/10) Mochiko chicken - dark meat tenders with a really good barbecue sauce (9/10) Corn-pineapple fritters - something wasn't quite right. They're like hush puppies. As a native southerner I am very picky about my hush puppies (5/10) Kebabs - oddly small? No rating, i personally did not try them Antivenom mocktail - fruity with just the right level of sweetness (10/10)

Stephanie S.

Yelp
There are so many interesting drinks to choose from!!! It's hard to pick just one! I chose the love potion #9 and the tropical margarita. They both pack a punch since I took part in dry January. I thought both drinks were really good. We also tried the meatloaf and wings! The wings are a must, the meatloaf is good.

Austin C.

Yelp
The smoked wings were beyond good and I felt bad because I didn't use any of the sauce that came with them! The bartender was very helpful and recommended some off the menu drinks that make it well worth coming back for. And the tiki vibe is a lot of fun and may be the only place in Indy to have this look. Also they do a drink that they set on fire in front of you. Makes it fun for everyone sitting next to you.

Seth M.

Yelp
Inferno Room was a pleasant surprise for me! I'm near it all the time, but never ventured in until recently. The ambiance is fun, and they have the largest private collection of artifacts from PNG, which is an odd fact. Drinks are a little pricey (most range from $13-$15). Sadly, the food we ordered wasn't great. The crab Rangoon tasted like it was from the freezer section and the other sides my friends good seemed fine, but not exceptional. I would definitely come back for a well-made colorful cocktail, which is their specialty. I would give it a 3.5 if I could. Ambiance is great, drinks are great, food wasn't great. It's definitely worth checking out!

Emm M.

Yelp
This bar is amazing. They do a great job of nailing the tiki aesthetic. Every drink I have ordered there is delicious. They all taste great, and I've had several. And the presentation of the drinks is good too. Some of the glasses are very aesthetic; every drink has flowers, fruit, and mint to garnish; and for a couple of the drinks they have a bit of a show when they serve it. The food is pretty good too. Lots of unique food. I got the slam slyders and loved them. The ONLY drawback is that the drinks are expensive. But they are really great. You get what you pay for. And there are so many options. It's definitely worth the price. Friendly staff and great service, too. Definitely check this place out. It's another must see in Indy.

Rita V.

Yelp
Excellent service. Fun decor and ambiance. Great drinks and food. I had the mixed drink that is set on fire. Before you enter, you think, "This can't be it, can it?" But you push open the only door you can find on the corner because others have described this, and, voila!, you are in another world.

Dipali P.

Yelp
The minute you walk in, it LITERALLY feels like you are on vacation. I love coming here for all the beachy tiki vibes and the drinks are pretty great! My go-to is always the Antakarian Fire Dancer (drink is great plus it's on fire?!) I LOVE that they have their own parking lot in the back as well so you don't have to keep circling to try and find parking on the street! Came here with a friend and it was everything we hoped for plus more!! We ordered the Yuca nachos and it was delicious! Docking one star because they NEED to bring back the jerk chicken kebabs! Those were my favorite!! Overall great service, food, and drinks! Will be coming back whenever I need a little getaway.

Christina M.

Yelp
They do not take reservations. Walked in to an empty restaurant with a group of 10, got turned away because they do not accommodate parties larger than 8. Lol We even said we could be split up into two groups. They still said no.

Kendall R.

Yelp
Horrible service every time we come to this establishment. I wish I could be lying but the only good thing going is the atmosphere.

Joel Y.

Yelp
Location was closed on 6/6/24 when we tried to go there. Not a sign of life anywhere. Unable to see what happened and they don't answer their phone

Jayne G.

Yelp
Best cocktails in Indy! The unique chic Indiana Jones meets Tiki Bar lounge atmosphere makes me feel like I'm on vacation. They now serve full meals which are excellent.

Brianna T.

Yelp
One of the coolest restaurants I've been to in Indy! It's a tiki bar themed restaurant. Came here on a Saturday night with a group of friends and we had a great time and the service was great. The food and drinks are reasonable priced. and they have a rotating menu. I've never had Szechuan Green Beans before and let me tell you they were amazing and only $8. I also had the pineapple fried rice that comes without a protein but you are able to add one. I added chicken as my protein and it was delicious and full of flavor, the chunks of pineapple added a great taste. All drinks are served with curly straws and we were so excited about that lol Please try this place if you haven't already, it's amazing

Austin C.

Yelp
This is the coolest bar I have visited in Indy. Kendall is a fantastic bartender and very friendly. I highly recommend you try the Phantom Paradise.

Lenisha L.

Yelp
Was randomly out and about with my boyfriend for drinks and told him I'd been wanting to try this place for forever so we caught an Uber from Mass to Halloween town (that's what I call fountain square lol) so we could check out inferno room! When we got there he said it doesn't look open lol he didn't know it was tiki themed and dark and dim. We hopped at the bar and were the only two sitting there, but that didn't last for long the bar quickly filled up to capacity! The bartenders were nice and attentive and made great recommendations (always a plus). I had the bazooka beach which was a fruity rum based drink with banana and also the midcentury zombie which I got because it had passion fruit in it, but I didn't taste any. The food came out and my rice was soooooo good, but just a tad bit salty and I never complain about a well seasoned dish but you can tell they got a little heavy handed on the soy sauce. I tasted my boyfriend's fish tacos, it was cod and not seasoned at all! The black beans that came with the tacos were the best black beans I've ever had I could just eat a bowl of those! The chips and salsa that accompanied the tacos were also good! They seem to have some food specials throughout the week from what I could see on their digital bar menu. The bartender let me get a picture with the Beetlejuice doll that was sitting on the shelf lol I am obsessed with Beetlejuice and it matched my bag so well. I would definitely come back! Definitely explore around and check out the cool artifacts and artwork on display.

Sitav E.

Yelp
Legit the coolest interior you've ever seen, somehow in Indianapolis you walk right onto a tropical island! As a vegetarian I was worried about the menu, but they killed it, orange tofu, and the best veggie wrap I've had in a long time!

Montana T.

Yelp
Omg!!! Ruuun to this hidden gem! It's a vacation in the middle of Indy. I would like to say I loved the mystery of finding how to get in, it looks abandoned on the outside during the day, anyway, until you try the doors, exciting! As soon as you walk in the setting is, WOW! The Tiki design is head on and the darkness of the establishment adds the feeling of sitting outdoors, on an island with great food and drinks! My girlfriend and I ordered quite a few items and enjoyed them wholeheartedly. I would say my only disappointment were the wings, while the presentation was nice and there were flavor options I was in awe in the lack of flavor. The wings were crispy and fresh as the rest of the food, but no attention was given to season the meat, the flavorless sauce didn't make it any better unfortunately so I had to send them back. The drinks we ordered were very good, and pretty, just a ton of ice. Our server was quick and attentive, I just wished he'd given his name when he approached our table. Otherwise he was nice, friendly and accommodating. I will be returning, very soon!!

Andrea P.

Yelp
What a FUN place! We met friends here and it was a cold wintry night but being inside a tiki bar made it feel like a mini tropical vacation. Service was great and the food and drinks were just as good. They have a nice variety for drinks as well as food. This place has a perfect laid back atmosphere and perfect for a night out with friends.

Claire M.

Yelp
I don't know why it's taking us so long to visit this place, but we definitely been missing out! We started off with the Galileo seven to drink and I was and I was dead. For dinner we had a duck sandwich and the Bahn dog. Both were very good. The only thing we didn't really enjoy was the coleslaw that came with the duck sandwich. It was missing some acid. For our last drink we had the corrupted blood and it was definitely my favorite of the night. It was refreshing and not too sweet.

Hunter S.

Yelp
Amazing vibes! Wow this place is incredible. We got 3 drinks to start.. Blue Hawaii, Painkiller & corrupted blood. The decor here is actually legit from PNG. Plenty of room and great seating outside the bar area. Quick service so far!

D L.

Yelp
The best drinks in my opinion! It was great to celebrate my birthday here. And the food was very tasty. Service was great, very attentive staff. I really loved the decor and the island style. Would love to go back again and try other drinks and food!

Jastina C.

Yelp
You are absolutely paying for the atmosphere so know that first!! The drinks start at around $12 and it's probably best to stop there because otherwise you'll leave with 2 drinks and a mediocre appetizer spending $50. Ordered the yucca nachos and they were absolutely terrible. The chimichurri tasted like nothing but vinegar and we forced ourselves to eat what we could. Service was also mediocre equivalent to being served by a robot. However if you want to feel like you're getting away from Indy for a minute with some tropical drinks just come sit at the bar and move on

Sarah M.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I needed a nice date night in a new casual atmosphere and had considered this place before. We decided to go and ended up loving it! The drinks are awesome, albeit pricey, but I think worth it! We also ordered food, which was amazing. The fried chicken sandwich is mouth watering! Different flavors added in (I think) every menu item, but nothing too far off to kill the dish. Service was great as well, very cheery and bubbly. Our drinks came out rather quick as well as our food. We loved watching others order some special drink that is on fire! Next time we come we will definitely be trying that drink because it's a show in itself! Definitely recommend if you want a higher-end casual themed experience!

Emily M.

Yelp
Such a fun spot! Maybe the best cocktail spot in the neighborhood and the ambience is unbeatable. Hard to get good photos because the inside is a little dark, but its so cozy and nice in there. It's a great special occasion spot.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Outstanding decor and crazy vibe - check. We used to have a Tiki bar where we live that we loved, so I wanted to like this place. We were one of only two parties dining when we walked in at 5:45 on a Wednesday night, so a bit worried. Hostess seated us just inside the door, which was fine, it's not a big place. Hubby had a tropical margarita in a fun coconut glass, and we had some shrimp rangoons to start. They were fine, a little on the greasy side, and you needed the sweet and sour sauce otherwise bland. I had a special steamed dumpling that was OK, but the dumpling part was too thick and difficult to chew. Flavor overall was OK, but not great. Hubby had kabobs, a side of rice, and a salad. The kabobs he noticed after the first bite the chicken was way undercooked... sadly he took that bite before realizing (It's quite dark.) We pointed this out to the waitress who did take it off the bill, but he paid the price later that night with an upset stomach. I don't know if it was empathy or something in my dumpling, but the next morning I was sick as well. So while it's cool and the photos are neat, no, we won't be back. They've got some issues to address.
