Where To Dine in Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral, Florida | Eater Miami

"Nearly 35 years old, the charming 50-room Inn at Cocoa Beach is boutique at its best: I was impressed by reception desk reminders for scheduled shuttle launches visible from a privately accessed beach, the European-styled property with a stone fountain, a parrot perch, and pineapple-shaped statues framing its salmon-pink exterior, and a stellar complimentary breakfast of homemade quiche and freshly squeezed Florida orange juice; other perks I appreciated include a nightly wine-and-cheese social, an honest lobby bar stocked with top spirits, a recently renovated pool with cruise ship–sized shuffleboard and hammocks, and a highly hospitable general manager, Larry York, who is a Ritz-Carlton alum." - Tierney Plumb

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this charming, retro-style property. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, with beautifully maintained grounds and a lovely pool area. Our first-floor room opened right up to the pool, which was incredibly convenient. We especially enjoyed the rocking chairs outside our sliding doors – perfect for morning coffee or evening unwinding.||The staff here truly stood out – every single person we interacted with was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Housekeeping was fantastic, always leaving our room spotless and making sure we had everything we needed. The grounds crew worked hard to keep the property in great shape, especially around the pool deck.||Beach access is excellent, and having both the pool and the ocean just steps away is a huge plus. The chairs and umbrellas provided are a bit dated and clunky, but still functional. During our stay, there were rip current warnings the entire time – nothing the hotel could control, but it did limit time in the water.||There were a couple of inconveniences:||No refrigerator in the room, which made storing snacks or drinks tricky.||No coffee maker.||The room above us was under some kind of renovation for two days, which brought extra noise, and our water was turned off for a few hours.||No closet in the room, so plan to live out of drawers or your suitcase.|||On the positive side, the air conditioner worked perfectly and kept the room very comfortable. The shower was spacious, and the beds, while just okay in plushness, were a nice size. The TV worked well, and we could sign into all our streaming apps without issue.||We enjoyed trying restaurants in the area – Long Doggers was our favorite!||Overall, this is a very relaxing, quiet property with a charming vintage vibe. Despite a few small hiccups, we left happy and would gladly return.|Bonus: We were able to have a great view of the night Cape Canaveral rocket launch!

Wow, what a gorgeous property! This boutique hotel feels like visiting old friends. Cheese and wine in the afternoon, happy hour, on the beach, beautiful sunrise. Rooms were beautiful, great bed, lovely deck and viewing area for launches and stars. Breakfast was quiche, muffins, fresh fruit, eggs. We will definitely be back ♥️🙏

This is a family-owned inn and better yet, has the look and feel of one. The staff was very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Our check-in was easy. The inn is a short walk to the beach. They provide a beach umbrella, chairs, and even beach towels so don't bother to bring those. Breakfast is delightful and served in an equally delightful dining room. The inn is located a block off of the main highway and away from its associated noise and congestion. Parking is free and readily available. The grounds are well-cared for. We welcome the no-smoking policy-and it's enforced!||The rooms are on the small side (especially the shower and bath), but most important to us, they are very clean and comfortable. As others note, they lack a fridge and microwave, so bring a cooler. Drinks (bottled water, soft drinks, beer wine, coffee, etc.) are available off the lobby and are very reasonable priced. ||Check-out time is the usual 11:00 a.m. --a possible issue for those wanting to spend some extra time on the beach. However, the staff made an extra shower room available to us that enabled us to enjoy much of the afternoon at the beach.||Some reviewers have complained about the inn's value, but when compared to the prices of the nearby chain hotels, I found the value to be quite competitive. It was certainly less costly than most of the big names up and down the beach.||Overall, a very enjoyable get-away for us!

Starting off the people working here are amazing very helpful and always willing to answer questions!! The nice gentleman at the front desk gave us a recommendation for dinner at it was amazing 10 out of 10! The rooms are very clean and very simple! They have a nice little pool as well! It’s quiet and cozy! They even have beach chairs and umbrellas they let you use! We took them to the air show this weekend so they saved us money having to rent some! They even have a path to the beach directly behind the Inn maybe 100 feet!!! All around good place and good people we will be back 100%

Stayed two nights here, staff was amazing. Loved the rooms. My favorite thing about the place was it didn't have that typical corporate hotel feel. It had a more homey feel. Definitely coming back here again. Access to the beach was great and easy. Overall a great experience.

We were so happy with all the little details, quirks and amenities here. The Honor Bar, cheese and wine hour, and hot breakfast made for a great experience. Pool was clean with lovely seating areas. Our room had a patio with seating and a path to the pool. I noticed some negative reviews mentioning they didn’t know it was adult only, or that they didn’t have refrigerators. But these things are listed on their website. If you know what to expect, it’s a quaint, unique and memorable experience!
