"Nearly 35 years old, the charming 50-room Inn at Cocoa Beach is boutique at its best: I was impressed by reception desk reminders for scheduled shuttle launches visible from a privately accessed beach, the European-styled property with a stone fountain, a parrot perch, and pineapple-shaped statues framing its salmon-pink exterior, and a stellar complimentary breakfast of homemade quiche and freshly squeezed Florida orange juice; other perks I appreciated include a nightly wine-and-cheese social, an honest lobby bar stocked with top spirits, a recently renovated pool with cruise ship–sized shuffleboard and hammocks, and a highly hospitable general manager, Larry York, who is a Ritz-Carlton alum." - Tierney Plumb
