My friend and I were looking for a restaurant that is the halfway point between the two of us, and decided to give this place a try!
I love how the restaurant was decorated for Halloween, so so cute!!!
The restaurant was busy (I assume because we went out on Day 1 of the Phillies World Series). Thankfully, my friend was able to make a reservation/be on the waitlist so we were seated right away.
The only downside (and why I give this 4 stars rather than 5) is because the tables were VERY close together (in order to accommodate the large crowd) but I felt a little confined. The table was also a little small, so when we ordered our French Onion Soup and appetizer, we were still eating when the waiter brought over our actual meals, so we were trying to make room for everything.
As for the food itself, I thought everything was pretty delicious! We tried the Apple Cider Sangria (ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!), the French Onion Soup, the Onion Rings, and the Crispy Bacon Brie Grilled Cheese. The french fries that came with my sandwich were so crispy and delicious! I saw on the menu that if you want to substitute for sweet potato fries, onion rings, or potato chips that it would be an additional cost, and I meant to ask for sweet potato fries, but I forgot. If my waiter asked if I was fine with regular fries or if I wanted to substitute for the others, I would have remembered. But I ended up loving the regular french fries, so it was all good!
We had the manager come up to us towards the end of our meal to ask how everything was, which we said was delicious (which was very nice!) I even saw him helping to clean/move a table next to us which I thought was great.
After we finished eating, my friend remembered that she used to come here back when it was under a different name!
I will definitely be back!
