Goa, India Dining Guide to the Food & Drink Scene - Eater

"This 300-year-old luxury hotel in North Goa’s Anjuna sports chic, white interiors, a communal courtyard, and a veranda dimmed with moon lighting. It’s also particularly great for hungry guests, as it hosts suppers with traveling chefs from across the world. Though the menu changes often, it always features fresh, organic ingredients from the Goan coast and nearby farms. Visitors can join curated cooking classes or private food and wine pairings hosted by the chefs. Doubles start at $230 during the high season." - Zinara Rathnayake

Fantastic rooms. Very well maintained, clean and high hygiene standards being followed. Great service by all staff at the hotel. Special thanks to Nyron for helping us complete our check in formalities. Great professionalism! The google photos of the hotel are an exact match of the actual rooms. Superb! Overall, a great stay. Suitable for families, solo women travelers and bachelors. Value for money!

The hotel offers a value for money stay at a good location. There are many convenient stores and small restaurants within walkable distance. It is approx. 10 mins drive from Vagator & Anjuna pubs. So it's a good location. This is not a beach-front property, however the pool is serviceable. The upper floor rooms has common balcony connecting 4 rooms at a time, which is wonderful if you are travelling in a group and taking those rooms. Not so much if you are taking just one room, since it hampers the privacy. Staff are helpful. The restaurant serves okaish food, especially the lunch. It's better to try having your meals outside where there are far better options. Breakfast though, was tasty was and a regular fare. Overall, a good stay.

Thank you to the entire team of Ivy Anjuna for making our stay so comfortable. Unlike other places, everyone here are so caring and cooperative and are willing to help in any way they can. They ensure to check in with you from time to time and make sure everything is in place. The personal touch makes such a difference. Ms Mary was one of the most kindest ppl we met who took out time from her schedule to check in on whether we needed anything and any help. Also the management and staff are supportive and go leaps and bounds to make your stay memorable and comfortable. The rooms are clean, tidy and have all the amenities needed to stay comfortably. The prices are reasonable for the location, cleanliness, comfort and service. The place is kid friendly and has access to a pool and room service with proper sitout and ventilation. Thank you Ivy Anjuna for making this trip enjoyable. Looking forward to many more stays!!

If you plan to stay in Anjuna, this location is ideal for families and couples. The rooms are pleasant and clean. It is reasonably priced and well worth it. The staff is courteous and service-oriented. We requested an extension of a few hours after check-in time because our flight was planned for the evening, and they were pleased to oblige. You will not have a beach view because it is a little further away from the beach; on a bike it takes 3 to 4 minutes, and by walk it can take 15 minutes. They have a resturant which is outsourced however, food is good and they are very friendly. Most of the restaurants like Mayan, Purple Martini are very near, other places like Lollo Russo, oh Lalala, Tanjavur Tiffin room are near by to visit. And in short it is worth a stay.

We stayed there to attend the Sunburn and celebrate new year as our daughter had come for Christmas holidays from London. It is a treasure if you are planning to stay near anjuna. The place is very clean with great attitude- from house keeping to managers. We were upgraded to a suite room which was amazing. Rooms are very tidy and clean where you can get a good nights sleep. There is a pool which is well maintained. The restaurant is outsourced; but, we used it for lunch other than the breakfast which was included. The food quality is very good; the breakfast spread is adequate- you can order your choice of egg variant. In my opinion, more breakfast spread you have, more food is wasted! Lastly, I am thankful to the team for our late checkout on the last day. That gesture will be remembered by my family for the rest of our lives!! Thank you for providing a wonderful experience🙏🏽

Nice hotel, but distinct shortage of sun beds and umbrellas. Friendly staff, room cleaned as and when you requested it. Never ate there so not sure of the food. Close to the centre of Anjuna, but a 15/20 minute walk to the beach. All in all, nice hotel for the money.

This hotel is really average and good.If you have the plan to chill at hotel and stay for long times at rooms, it’s really not a very good option. For us it was just a place to sleep and nothing more. Our service was not breakfast included so i don’t have any idea about breakfast.

We had whale of a time during our two day stay at the Ivy Anjuna .The moment we entered the ivy Anjuna we had that feel good feeling .The front desk ably represented by Mr Alric(manager) Chandan and all were very cordial and helpful and made us feel at home. The housekeeping was excellent with Mary doing a good job.Platini was a live wire in the restaurant and left no room for complaint. The front desk was 24/7 open and so was the WiFi .The outdoor pool was clean with a good looking pool bar. The free flowing six fountains were a treat to the eyes.Location is excellent being near the Anjuna beach ,opposite the market and near to popular pubs like Purple martini(about 8 min by car) and Thalassa(20 min)by car. We strongly recommend the stay here in the Ivy Anjuna
