The Ivy Victoria

We visited here to celebrate our anniversary and thankfully they got us good seats. Nicely designed restaurant with good atmosphere and vibes. However, when it comes to the food taste, we didn't think it tasted that good. Just mediocre or below especially the courgette linguine (I liked the tomato sauce on the side but the creamy sauce under was not for me at all. And barely any courgette inside) We had five different servers with mixed level of hospitality and one of the young guys was not very kind at all. To sum up, I liked the design and atmosphere but that was pretty much it for us and not sure if we would visit again.

I have always wanted to visit The Ivy and on a recent visit to London, had the opportunity. I certainly wasn't disappointed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with service second to none. Shame this isn't still a value in other establishments. Menu was extensive, with a wonderful choice, plus specials available too. Food was delicious and presented well. You were not rushed, but Kieran, our waiter was very attentive. Couldn't fault a thing. Would definitely recommend and would love to return again. Thank you for making my trip to London perfect.

Always an amazing experience at the Ivy, it was my first time at this branch in Victoria and it did not disappoint. The view inside and out was just spectacular. The space were polite and friendly. The food was scrumptious and succulent and the wine devine. We went to celebrate my friend's new job and what better way than to celebrate in style. Absolutely love the Ivy. Definitely always a 5***** for me and would definitely recommend a visit for luxury fine dining at its best without breaking the bank.

I loved the place. I traveled to London just after Christmas from Canada and decided to check out this fancy looking bar considering how close it was to my hotel. The inside is beautiful, with a refined air and professional staff. Drinks were delicious, and I enjoyed them thoroughly, however despite only getting 4 drinks we had a bill of $100 CAD (Just over £50). I was expecting high cost but I wasn't expecting it to be that expensive. Enjoy responsibly.

The Ivy is a very good place to have dinner! You must reserve before arriving, it’s almost always full. I ordered a curry duck that was pretty pretty good, then as an starter an onion soup and for desert an amazing chocolate bomb, the ambient was pretty good and the service was amazing. Regarding the price, are good, not the cheapest place but totally worth it.

Had a fantastic lunch time at the Ivy yesterday! We were attended by a great waiter who deserves a big shout out for how welcomed he made us feel (cannot pick up the name but had a tattoo :"since"). We will definitely come back to this location. Great set menu, the steak was perfectly cooked.

Great restaurant. Very good selection of drinks and cocktails, delicious starters (fried zucchini is good!) And a really good selection of mains whether you're in a rush or if you wanted to take your time to savour... I thought the fish 'n chips was really good with the truffle cream as dip. Topped it with an espresso 👌🏼 All of this with good service, that's attentive but not overbearing. Great lunch experience overall, thank you very much.

We (my partner and I) visited for brunch one weekend and were so happy. I was nervous about the cost but we ate so well with great portion sizes, the cost is comparable in volume with other places we enjoy. A positive surprise! The staff are welcoming and friendly, fairly efficient although it can be quiet if you sit upstairs when it isn’t busy. Try the candyfloss cocktail which comes with actual candyfloss and you can dissolve this into the drink.

Such a great experience for my first meal in London when visiting. The restaurant overall is adorable, and has such a great cute aesthetic. Would be perfect for a calm, but cute meal. The service was also incredibly kind. They allowed us to store our luggage in their coat closet. They also gave us quick, efficient service. The food was great! We loved the teas, and our smoothies. The breakfast was also very well made and gave us a more elevated experience trying a traditional English breakfast. The prices were also, in my opinion, very affordable for the quality of the experience and atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely place! The decor is cute and classy at the same time, service was great and so is the food. I'm no expert in tea but I had my fair share of tea growing up in Asia, I love the Ivy's own afternoon tea and was hoping they actually sell that to go as I don't live in England but unfortunately they don't the server was super sweet and got me two extra tea bags and wrapped them in the napkins for me Would definitely visit again next time I'm in London~

We also got an order of the Breakfast Pastries since we needed something sweet for all that hardy that was coming our way. As we waited for our food I went to the bathroom. On the way there I realized that this place is massive and had an amazing bar upstairs. Once at the bathroom I will say this was the nicest bathroom of the whole trip. Don't even get my stated on the ladies bathroom (Ashley showed me pictures) because it was even more amazing. Once our Full English came out it looked amazing and it was. Plenty of meat, eggs, hash browns, beans, toast and the other fixings. As I said a good Full English has plenty of food to split with someone. I could never finish one on my own. The Breakfast Pastries were also great and the Chocolate Croissants we just the right amount of sweet after all the salty. If you are in London you have to check one of there Ivy locations but since I can't speak for all of them this one is a must.

Stopping by The Ivy on our way to Westminster Cathedral was definitely a highlight of our day. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a charming ambiance - classy yet cozy, with lush greenery all around, creating a serene indoor garden vibe. Now, let's talk about the food - oh my, it was simply divine. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And can we take a moment to appreciate those mashed potatoes? Sure, there was a slight hiccup with the timing, but hey, mistakes happen. The manager, ever the professional, personally came over to apologize and make things right. Honestly, it wasn't a big deal for us, especially since we weren't in a rush. Overall, our experience at The Ivy at Victoria Street was nothing short of delightful. Delicious food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service - what more could you ask for? I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try.

Easy five stars! From ambiance to food to service I loved the Ivy! My husband and I were looking for a place to grab some breakfast before meeting up with family and going site seeing so we turned to Yelp to see what was near by. It was mid morning on a weekday and no wait, they took my jacket and seated us right away. First off my metaphorical hat is tipped to the person or people that created The Ivy's aesthetic, it is beautiful. The restaurant is huge and when I went to the bathroom it gave me a chance to explore. I highly suggest exploring and going to the bathroom it is incredible! I ordered the pastries and Mike got the full English Breakfast both were fantastic! This is on my list of a must return restaurant, I really loved everything about it!

My daughter and I had a delicious breakfast here while visiting London. The portions were not large, although adequate for us. The service was not quick, although we were seated right away. The decor is lovely. Check out the restroom!

Food is very delicious. They know how to mix and match different ingredients to create dishes that is so tasty. Price is reasonable, but once you order each course separately and that adds up. Service is good. Great setting and location.

What a wonderful place to come for a beautiful setting very close to Victoria station. We arrived without a reservation to have lunch and were seated outside. Although it was a bit cool, the restaurant had patio heaters which made it really perfect. We ate Shepard pie and salads with a bowl of the tomato soup with feta cheese and pine nuts. All the portions were perfect. We did try the chocolate mousse for a shared dessert and it was also very beautifully presented! We did get cocktails and I would highly suggest something from the bar- just makes it a special occasion. We highly recommend this lovely spot!

This place is gorgeous. That is for sure. The have an amazing looking menu. We came here in December, so they have the festive Christmas menu. For brevity, the food is incredible, the service is less than rad despite how nice everyone was. Here's what about it was not so great. Sat down, someone came up immediately, offered suggestions, said he would come back with waters. Dropped off water with no point to allow us to order. About thirty minutes later, I was able to flag someone down to request some food. The food came, and it was delicious. It's beautiful. Unfortunately it was missing a side. Also a misfortune was when my empty bottle of sparkling water was taken away and I was asked if I'd like another, that one never showed up. Food being delicious and beautiful doesn't overshadow underwhelming service. But that's not to say the evening was ruined, by no means. It was rather busy, I can say, the Christmas Pudding for desert is what absolutely redeemed the not rad interactions and lack of water/missing side. That pudding is the embodiment of Xmas. All of the spice, and the insides, and topping. Wow. Epic AF.

Popped in for a quick lunch while visiting London. The good was delicious but still had traditional British twist. The staff was kinda and accommodating to our baby seating needs and well as pray storage. It's a very ornate restaurant with beautiful decor.

Beautiful little Gem we found around the corner from our hotel for a friends dinner. You would know what it looks like from the outside and inside was amazing. Two level with bar and private room. Will certainly return on a fruitier trip To London!

Cutest restaurant- upscale Food was AMAZING! as a tourist I loved their fish and chips. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside- the fish was flavorful and good portion size. Even the peas were good and I'm not a fan. Chocolate bomb dessert was yummy

4.5 stars rounded up. Food at The Ivy was one delicious surprise after the next; amazing flavors unrelenting on my unsuspecting tastebuds. We started with spicy & lemony green olives, addictive truffle arancini balls, & a basket of zucchini fritti that were floppy little vehicles for the delicious yogurt dipping sauce. The halloumi salad I ordered was from their seasonal specials & was possibly one of the best salads I've ever had. My companions were equally captivated by their orders -- an incredible albeit petite portion of scallops & Shepard's pie with a side of nicely-cooked peas. At any other restaurant, I would've been thrilled with the taste & quality of the crème brûlée & cheese plate with which we ended dinner, but because neither was unexpectedly excellent, I have to call both average, yet still very good. The Ivy set such a high standard for itself that I'm perplexed by anything that isn't perfection. If this is their "worst," they got a fan for life in me.

Beautiful restaurant. The bathroom makes you feel like you transported to somewhere else - stunning. Food was so good. I had the iced peach tea and the poached eggs on top of smoked salmon and toasted muffins. The tea was very smooth and went well with the meal, citrusy and filled with flavor. The rest of my family had the full English breakfast. What a delicious breakfast and cozy ambiance! Service was ok, I heard that they were a little short that day, and with limited seating, they were running around a lot.

Ambiance was made for the instagram! Bring your crew and your camera! In gloomy London you feel like you're in Palm Springs The English breakfast was so delicious! Great amount of food and very fresh! The service was friendly, attentive, and quick! Really can't wait to go back!

Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, a bit pricy, but not overpriced! The food looked very very good, but did not taste as much good. The food was okay, not more than that. Overall we really enjoyed the restaurant and we recommend it.

It's hard to go wrong with a place as iconic and gorgeous as this and we soon felt like family to any staff member that came near our table. Blame it on my jet lagged 6 year old that fell asleep in his chair and everyone was so kind and engaging. They treated us to the most experiential dinner and it is marked on my heart. Thank you to everyone who that had a hand in making the night so incredible!

Who says London is t know for there cuisine! The decor and food are amazing. Got to check out the bathrooms. A must if your in London.

Great spot. The salted caramel espresso martini is delightful. The steak was ehhh. I'd probably skip that next time. Sea bass was wonderful. Crème brûlée is the perfect end to this beautiful restaurant.

I wanted to like this place and I did, in some ways. The food was good and came quickly, and the atmosphere was awesome. Festive, great for a date or nice dinner. But the service was some of the worst I've ever had. The waiter didn't brink half of our drinks and it took three separate asks -- and until after our food came -- for the drinks to come. It also took three asks to get more water and a side of ketchup. If they can figure out the service it'd be a gem, but right now it's nice but a frustrating place to dine. The table next to us had similar issues. The wait staff was rude about it too. Disappointing

Absolutely delicious! From the food to the drinks everything was yummy, but the ambiance won me over! Shepherds pie, fish and ships and the chicken Marsala. Check out the bathrooms they are WILD.

Upscale-- or at least beautiful -- bar-restaurant with delicious food. Try the scallop appetizer: glorious sweet scallops with a celery(?) foam--yum!! Fish and chips really good, and the shepherd's pie even better! Service v attentive and quick.

Fantastic dinner, restaurant has different rooms that are all nicely decorated. We started upstairs at the bar for drinks and appetizers, then moved down stairs to the enclosed patio. Wonderful atmosphere and great energy in the crowd. Service was good but the highlight was the food. The shepherds pie was recommended so tried that, best I have ever had. Wife got the truffle chicken Milanese with a fried egg on top. Wasn't sure about this one when we ordered but it was spot on. Could have used a little more salad on top but flavor was a 10. Looking forward to going back. We showed up a 8:00 Saturday night without a reservation but they got us in within an hour. Staff was friendly. Beautiful dinner experience.

Loved it here! We didn't have reservations however we were quickly accommodated. The aesthetics are beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff are attentive. I prefer this location to the one we have in Los Angeles. It's not as over the top snooty here like back home.

Went here for a quick dinner while in London as it was close to our hotel. The place has a cozy setup with a dining room in the front and another in back of the building. We had a French salad and the Shepard pie. The salad was great, but the pie was very heavy and not very tasty. In addition, the service was slow.

I would recommend not going here ever. Had a steak that looked like a hockey puck, probably cooked for 30 seconds. Bought a $35 bottle of wine that was probably the worst wine I've ever had in my life and they wouldn't even let me take it home. So awful. Spent $150 for one of the worst meals in Europe. Please go anywhere else.

Wife and I went here for a our anniversary while in London. Steak was ok. The chicken was great. Service was excellent. The ambiance was also pretty cool...although the music was a bit loud for conversation.

We made reservations at The Ivy for our first night in London. It's a very nice restaurant and reservations were a good idea. Unfortunately we were sat in a side area and right next to the waiters water station. This also meant the waiter was not one of the veterans but did his best to answer our questions and served us well. The food was very good. We ordered the fried zucchini starter with crispy duck salad. For dinner my husband had the veal and I had the filet. We shared mashed potatoes and string beans. We highly recommend this place.

We love the Ivy and while good, this wouldn't be our first choice of location. A few detractions include very loud and spotty service which is unusual to the Ivy. The food was as great as always. We love the non alcoholic beverage choices, mocktails rock!

Swanky, upscale restaurant and bar. Lots of bar space. Extensive cocktail menu, bottled beer, many wines and spirits. Great for groups and business parties. Enjoy!

I walked in solo today during a very busy lunch rush. They were able to find me a table very quickly. The restaurant is very, very pretty. I ordered the 1/2 roasted chicken in a mushroom gravy, served off the bone. It was delicious. It comes with green beans and I ordered a side of mashed potatoes; again delicious. I loved this simple meal. I'm in London for another 6 days and will make it a point to go back. I may just order the same meal again.

Fantastic place. The staff treated us like kings. Now I have to go back to see if we're still kings. The food was delicious, properly prepared, hot and well proportioned. The bathroom although clean was a climb and a long walk, that's about the only complaint I can think of.

Gem! Incredible atmosphere! This is a very reasonably priced restaurant that feels like it should be more expensive. The service was great! The food was amazing! The decor is inviting and unique! I highly recommend!
