Had a fantastic second line parade with Darlene leading the charge of 70 guests for my 70th birthday in the Quarter. We hired The Jaywalkers for a second line parade in the French Quarter for my husband's 75th birthday. Our group of 20 family and friends ranged in age from 25 to 76. Everyone agreed it was the best party they had ever attended. The band is excellent. They play great dixieland music and everyone along the parade route comes pouring out of the bars and into the streets to watch or join your parade. We must be in thousands of people's videos of their vacation in New Orleans. Our parade Grand Marshall, Denise Embree, literally danced to the music for the entire length of the parade route. I would recommend having a second line parade for any special occasion. You will love it and your guests will love it. Denise will take care of all the details, parade permits, the police escort, and answer all your questions. You just show up ready to party, and they do all the rest.
