Very nice lady who helped me out today. She even threw in an extra donut for me at no charge. The donuts are delicious! Truly an indulgence!

Great donuts. Probably my favorite in the east bay! I've starting coming here since I moved here. These donuts are really fluffy and the quality of the donut really is among the best. Other places I've found to be old or too thick, or the consistency of the dough was off in some way. Here, the sweetness isn't overly sweet for a donut and just amazing when fresh. I used to wake up/stay up till they opened so I could have one fresh and nothing beats a fresh donut from the Jelly Donut. Super friendly staff, always say hi and always sneak in an extra donut~! Great place!

This place is a Pleasanton staple, it's been around at least 25 years. A family-owned and operated business, the donuts are unmatched (seriously) and the service is friendly and prompt. Come in, get your donuts and beverage (highly recommend the martinelli's apple juice- they have sparkling now too!!) and say hi to Dina who can usually be found behind the counter. Cash or credit is fine (credit minimum is $5) and don't forget to tip!

Love this place. Donuts are so fresh and beautiful. I love that they can put custard into any donut - fresh and right on the spot as you order them. Nice and friendly place. Love supporting local businesses.

Donuts are fresh and tasty. Tried almost all the flavors and and found delicious. Folks here are good and quick, never waited for more than a min to get served with one of the staff.

Standard donuts. There are several in this area. The donuts are good. They are open early as always. The sad part is they "auto-add" tips. Not a suggestion, not an offer, just simply add it and then give you the total. What the heck?

This donut shop has the best tasting and quality donuts I have ever had. I go hear every morning on my way to work for several donuts and coffee. Some days a take several dozen donuts to work for my co-workers who all say these donuts are great.

Let's just say I'm in love. Fast service , a wide selection of fresh donuts - we came in at opening and there were a few people already waiting - I'll be back. Nice staff and a wide selection- I'm there ... again and again.

Grabbed 2 dozen assorted donuts to take to a client I was visiting. $40 for 2 dozen assorted donuts was a bit steep, I'm from OC and don't typically see those prices from a mom & pop shop. Also, I noticed she filled the box with mostly glazed regular donuts, hardly any sprinkle or cake donuts. Service was good but next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to checkout some other donut shops in the area.

The donuts were fresh, soft, & light. We tried the glazed, jelly filled glazed, Boston crème, original, blueberry cake, & an apple fritter. Our favs were glazed & the original cake. Only complaint was the jelly filling wasn't our fav- maybe it was mixed berry flavored, but I would've preferred strawberry.

Their donuts are fresh and delicious. I think they have the best donuts between all of the livermore and pleasanton donut shops. Stopped here on a weekday morning and they had a large selection of donuts and not a long wait. The staff was friendly and efficient. A raised donut is $2/each and they accepted credit cards ($5 min. purchase)

They were out of two donuts I wanted that was supposed to get delivered but they were placed them with different donuts these donuts are huge and delicious and fluffy and fresh I will definitely order from here again they're a bit overpriced but they're delicious

The jelly donut is the best donut shop in all of Pleasanton and Livermore Hands down. This small business has been around, and just have one of the best recipes ever!! Try that blueberry donut cake as well as their filled donut holes you won't be disappointed!

I came here based on a recommendation and was not disappointed! I was doing a staff appreciation event and had a lot of donuts to order. I asked them to attach signs to the donut boxes and put flags on the donuts so that people could easily get their donuts without touching anyone else's donuts. I realize that this was a pretty unique request but they had no problem fulfilling the request exactly how I wanted. I would definitely use them again for a large event and their donuts were so good. I would definitely go there again for donuts.!!!

Best donuts ever! Jelly Donuts us the freshest donuts. Can't name one that I do t like. The people are very friendly. Kelly Donuts is located at the corner of Valley and Hopyard. They are too close for comfort as I want to go there everyday. Can't do that!

I have been searching far and wide for a Cherry icing donut in the Bay Area. Not cherry-filled, but cherry iced. Countless donut shop owners are either curt or give me the stink eye when I see they have strawberry icing donuts and I ask if they do cherry icing because it's so hard to find. And unless I'm out of my mind, I don't believe that cherry and strawberry are too far off from each other. And then if everybody is so gung ho to do strawberry out here, is it a crazy idea to ask for a cherry iced donut?​ There are few places who do it, and this is one of them. I love how early they're open and the early birds do get the worm. Donuts are a little pricy but well worth the visit.

Pretty wide range of donuts that this places carries. Since I knew I would be in the area, I scoped this place out for its rave reviews and got one dozen with half normal and half of their fancy donuts including plain glazed, sprinkle donuts, sugar coated, custard-filled, cinnamon roll, apple fritter, and jelly-filled varieties. The filled donuts had a minimal amount of filling and the dough for all of them except for the cinnamon roll (maybe because it had a lot of glaze) was pretty dry. The lady that helped us was very attentive and friendly, but I would not come back here if I wanted a good donut in the area although the people I got the donuts for would disagree.

This is our go-to establishment for donuts. We go every few weeks - when we have friends over for brunch, when we want to celebrate a good soccer game, or just because on some days there is nothing better for the soul than sinking one's teeth into a perfect donut! The missus prefers their crullers and maple donuts, our younger one anything with sprinkles on it, our older one the chocolate eclairs, and I go for the jelly-filled ones - the gooier and drippier the better! There's lots of parking and the prices are reasonable. They are super friendly and the lady who runs it usually adds in a complementary donut into our box! We will be back!!

How do you show someone you love them? Buy them donuts. Valentine's Day calls for, sometimes, special things. Today, I needed this. And, for sure, I'm not the only one. A line 15 deep tells all. The one negative is that they don't have too much variety. Give me MORE. I've never been before, but what I experienced at The Jelly Donut is FLUFFY, good oil, and very fresh. My love and I tried a cinnamon roll, a special heart-shaped donut, and a chocolate custard. Score.

I stopped by here for a quick pick-me-up on my way to pharmacy at Rite Aid, and boy these doughnuts were just what I needed!! So many options to choose from and so prettily decorated! Our mouths were watering just looking at the selection displayed! I was craving a lemon filled one which they didn't have, so the server offered to make one for me!! So kind of him! The doughuts here are always fresh, soft, and delicious! Not too sweet which I really like Hard to have just one! Coffee was really good too! There was steady steam of patrons. Neat and well kept place. Friendly staff. Ample parking outside because it's in a shopping centre.

Just stopped in to get a cinnamon roll donut for my grandmother. She was thoroughly pleased with the taste and really everything about the donut. Service with a smile to say the least, as it was a pleasant experience ordering the item. Everything was clean and the people sitting and dining were very calm whilst noticibly enjoying themselves. I've been coming to The Jelly Donut for 30 years and have never experience anything less than stellar service and delicious taste.

I was in the area and wanted to try a new donut place and came upon this one. I love that their donuts were fluffy and big. You can also get your donuts filled and that's what I did. I got my 4 caramel glazed long johns filled with custard cream and boy it was one of the good ones I had. I also got me some chocolate glazed donuts. The sweetness was on point, not too sweet that you can make yourself sick but sweet enough that you can finish 2 in one sitting (of course with a cup of coffee). The donuts I got costs me a bit on an expensive side. I came right when they opened so the donuts were fresh and ready for me to devour. People kept coming in when I was there so I knew that their donut was legit. Family owned and very friendly.

I never thought there could be a bad pizza or bad donut. It's more that it's just not the BEST you've ever had. And that's the case with my experience at The Jelly Donut. I've had this bookmarked on my list cuz of its high 4.5 star rating. I got my typical fave, glazed twist and an Apple fritter. I could taste the oil and fried-ness of the donuts and personally that's not my preferred taste when eating my donuts. I like a light yet thick fluffy doughnut. Later I tried the Apple fritter and again could taste the oil and fried batter. There wasn't much cinnamon or apples inside. I did end up throwing the rest away because I had to cut my losses of calories vs enjoyment. From the wise words of my bf - "Was the juice worth the bite?" And my answer unfortunately would be No, not worth it today. So sorry Jelly Donut.

Had a craving donuts this morning so I figured to stop by a donut shop to bring some in for my coworkers. Love that this place is literally minutes away from where I work. The lady who helped me was helping another gentleman. And she seems to know who her regulars are. Loved the service that she provided the man before me. And when it came to my turn, she was quick & efficient. I ordered a dozen donuts & she gave me one for free. her customer service skills was definitely A-1!

No better donut spot. Went for an apple fritter and donut holes this morning. Nobody makes apple fritters like they do. It was still hot and melted in my mouth. The perfect texture, flavor, and size- ie. Big enough to pretend you'll share when you have absolutely no intention of doing so. They always sneak in an extra surprise donut so you can try something you wouldn't normally. So happy to support my favorite family owned donut shop

The blueberry... If you like eating blueberries this donut is delish! They do have a wide selection of donuts here including buttermilk donuts which was also good but between that and the old-fashioned I got and the blueberry, the blueberry hits. Only thing I would say are that the donuts could be priced a little bit lower but nevertheless they are satisfying indeed. I would have attached photos but I honestly ate everything before I thought about taking photos

The donuts are fresh and they had a great selection for it being so late in the morning but the woman who helped me seemed a little out of it. As I was selecting donuts I was counting on my fingers, at some point she changed the box to a bigger one. It wasn't till I got home that I realized she didn't transfer over my first 5 or 6 selections into the new box. She also had the sniffles and touched her face a lot but was using tongs to pick the donuts. I'd come back but pay more attention because I didn't get everything I had wanted because she messed up the count and wasn't paying attention.

Nic from Fairfield Tire Center suggest I go across the street to the best donuts in tow. Being a diabetic I jokingly refused. When I got there I couldn't resist and got a donut and coffee. He was right! After I ate, I bought a dozen to go and gave them to Nic. Told them I found these lost donuts wondering around the parking lot and asked if he could find them a good home. They're delicious. I really enjoyed that piece of heaven. Will take my family there so they can enjoy.

This place gives me all those nostalgic feels that I had growing up around doughnut shops. The food is great and the person often tending the shop in the mornings is really nice! Doughnuts are great, light fluffy and doesn't overdo it with the glaze. Highly recommend the filled doughnut holes!

Absolutely fantastic donut shop. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming; they make an effort to get to know you make the shop welcoming. Exceptional donuts, especially the jelly filled, but you can't go wrong with anything. Good coffee, good ambiance.

Doughnut have to be made a certain way for me to enjoy them! These do not disappoint I enjoyed these donuts twice while I was in Dublin and both times I thought they were super delicious. For me if you doughnut is cooked and I can taste the grease on the top of my mouth that classifies it as disgusting. These were perfectly cooked myself and my classmates enjoyed them. I was particularly fond of the glazed and the sugar glazed donuts they tasted really good and I'm glad that I got them. A little less than $13 for a dozen sounds about right!

I am admittedly behind on finding this gem of a donut shop but I will never pass it again without stopping in! The chocolate glazed old fashioned was the best I have ever had. Service was very friendly in this cute corner store. Keep it up!

Every two years, I have to recertify my Advanced First Aid and CPR credentials. This means I stress over performing essentially the same skills I've certified for over the last 37 years. What better way to relieve my anxiety than to bring some donuts into class? On my way in, I checked Yelp to see who made decent donuts in the Pleasanton/Dublin area. The Jelly Donut seems to have its shares of fans and positive ratings so that's where I went. Two people working the front counter and at least one more frying more donuts in the back. The two worked efficiently and independently. There was a small but constant line of customers waiting to order or pick-up an order. I ordered 1-1/2 dozen assorted with 6 Jelly's and the rest assorted. I guess I haven't bought donuts in awhile because I was surprised to see that plain cake donuts were $16 a dozen. My 18 cost $34 plus the tip I put in the tip jar. The donuts were very fresh and flavorul. I had 1/2 Cruller and 1/2 Jelly Donut. Both were pillowy and delicious. I ended up with powdered sugar all over my dark blue t-shirt and a bit of a sugar rush that helped me plow through the day. The only disappointment is one that comes from greed. What? No free donut holes or a bakers dozen?

Fresh and delicious donuts!! A friend brought me here because it's her family's favorite place for donuts. I was impressed with the variety of donuts available in the early afternoon. There were some really pretty decorated donuts. I bought a few for my family and they were delicious! The donuts holes were light, airy and sweet. I'll definitely be back!!

I gave this place a five stars because not only the donut's good also the staff. They accidentally gave us a wrong donuts the other day. We called them they apologized and delivered the right donuts to our house. Never seen that kind of services before there very nice and professional people. They will do above and beyond for there customers. That's why we prefer to go to Jelly donut when we can for good tasting donuts! We highly recommend this place to everyone.... Instead of thinking about work, I began to ponder how a donut could be so perfectly delicious and fluffy. I wondered when I could try another one. I contemplated how many I would want next time. I often come here on Friday to buy our team 9 dozen donuts at 530 am . The owner knows exactly what to put in the mix and is always so friendly. Our team loves The Jelly Donut. The best donut shop in Pleasanton. This week she was out of town and when I called the owner had left a note for the opening crew of what to put in our mix of donuts. 10/10 service. What a cute donut shop in Pleasanton! I live about half a mile away so I just walked here on a Friday morning. There were a couple customers in front of me which gave me the chance to take a look at their donuts. They do have a $5 minimum spend for credit card charges, otherwise it's cash or 50 cents additional charge. As for the donuts, they have pretty much all the typical donuts - powder, glazed, donut holes, chocolate, sprinkles, etc. I got their blueberry, glazed, and chocolate donuts and boy were they yummy! Also it was a nice surprise to see when I opened the box that the kind lady added a couple donut holes for me in the box! Definitely will come by for more donuts in the future.

This is one of the best donut shops in the area. Always good fresh donuts and a great variety. They do close at 2pm so don't be late. I love the cake donuts with sprinkles or the cinnamon ones. They do it right here. The only one close in quality is Donut king down the street. Either is wonderful!

I haven't been to this donut shop for at least a decade. After running past it every other week in the mornings, I became accustomed to seeing the queue lines of those with a hankering for donuts. Finally one day after my morning runs I broke down and got a variety to taste. Overall the donuts were good. The only thing I would note is that the cake donuts had more of a soft, springy consistency compared to a crisper exterior (which I am more fond of). The crumb donuts were very tasty though!

Came here for nutrition, been craving a jelly donut and didn't connect that this place was called The Jelly Donut until after I ate the most amazing jelly donut of all time, powdered raspberry. I don't like jelly donuts because they tend to be super sweet. The raspberry filling was the right amount in quantity, but what got me was that the dough was light and fluffy. I could have eaten it without the jelly, it was like a beignet from Cafe du Monde, it was the perfect amount of saltiness. I'll be back...

First time working in this area and this is the Friday before we shutdown for holiday so why not add to all the yummies in the office already? Yelp brought me to Jelly's. The woman at the counter made a nice selection of treats for me which totaled $12.50. Really reasonable for a dozen of these delights. When the box went down in the table, the admin was very happy. A good sign. I just grabbed the pink frosted cake doughnut. Pleased to report that it is great. I think there is strawberry in the frosting and the doughnut is crispy on the outside and light on the inside. Glad to have found this spot because I live a good doughnut in Fridays!

Is this the best donut place in the tri-valley? I can't say for sure, but I do know they are pretty much what a donut should be so I don't seek out other places for donuts. The dozen comes with a great variety of types, flavors and shapes and the donuts are always delightfully puffy and fresh. Never oily or greasy. What more can I ask of a donut? If you have a taste for just a great classic donut, this is a solid choice.

We received a box of donuts as a gift, So I can't comment on their in store service. I will say that the donuts were very tasty, and pretty too. I will pick this place next time, and if the costumer service is a great as the donuts, I'll switch donut spots.

I've been coming here for over a decade and my kids know this is the best spot in the area for donuts. We come here at least twice a month or more and have always had super friendly service.

Yummy donuts and service with a smile. It's about $24 for a box of a dozen big fancy donuts and they usually throw in an extra free. Before Covid I would go in to get donuts for the office and there was usually a bunch of old guys sitting in the corner drinking coffee and talking, it clearly was their neighborhood hang out. I hope it will get back to that soon.

Probably one of the best Donut shops of the East Bay. I've actually never stepped foot inside the building but have been regularly door dashing donuts from them for over a year. They are ULTRA fast with delivery. And almost every single order I place, I am delightfully surprised when they had 1-3 additional donuts at no charge. I've tried almost all of the donuts they offer. They never disappoint my family; Fresh, fluffy, and warm. My favorite is probably the chocolate with custard filling. A close second is the French donut, which tastes like a crepe! My husbands all-time favorite is maple bars. My kids love the sprinkle cake donuts. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by.

Visiting my son and family thought I would treat for breakfast and gotta say excluding the door dash prices the donuts themselves were wonderful, some of the best donuts I've ever had and the jelly donut itself was the best jelly donut ever.
