Google
I was skeptical because they have 4.1/5 rating but I was pleasantly surpriced. Their best roll is the og anda roll. Don't miss that. The tea is also really nice.I tried the chicken and another kebab roll and those were also good.

Google
Nice place to enjoy Rolls of various delicious flavors. Taste is Ok seems good to be a snack but should not be considered as a meal. Also, seems overpriced considering other food in this price point have more quantity. Regarding this store, overall nice place, limited seating capacity. When we visited, they were out of the Paneer rolls, they must be creating sometime of the day and serving it heating it up, so not freshly prepared which disconnects me!

Google
If you crave the Indian style kathi roll, this is the place to be. We tried mutton egg, chicken egg & achari paneer roll. They were cooked to perfection and all three of them had distinct flavors. The chai here is okayish honestly. But I would still recommend this place as a must visit.

Google
You gotta try them all (unless you have dietary or religious restrictions). My favorite is the chicken tikka but, trust me, you’re not gonna have a bad kati roll. Outside of the food quality, price is reasonable, employees there are polite and courteous, and the ambience feels nostalgic (especially for South Asians like myself). You just can’t go wrong!

Rudi Patel

Google
Good food, fair price! It was quickly made and everything was neatly put together.

Google
This place is consistently delicious. All halal meats. Great atmosphere and decorations. The music is tasteful and not too loud. Very authentic and fresh. Actually worth the price, the Kati rolls are always stuffed with ample meat.

Google
Today I went to this location and tried the unda chicken roll. It was very delicious. The place was neat and clean and the service was excellent. The playlist was boring and I was expecting more Indian music.

Google
The Kathi rolls are good, but I’ve seen better ones. But for the price these Kathi rolls are really good value and they have a decent menu. They barely give you much sauces , and when I asked for a second one, they said no. I told them I would pay for it. After some time they eventually gave it to me for 49 cents. But the issue is they barely give you any sauce to begin with, and they make it a big deal to give an extra sauce or give adequate amount.

Yelp
I gave this place four stars because I haven't tried it during regular business hours; I've only ordered through TooGoodToGo. The wraps are small but tasty, with tender meat and flavorful seasoning, though they can sometimes have a bit too much onion. My least favorite is the vegan wrap, which didn't quite hit the mark for me. Overall, a good spot for a quick bite!

Michael N.

Yelp
This place is very culturally centered. From the food to the customers. Very clean and well cooled establishment. The rolls I had were flavorful yet way too oily and the rolls were tight and the insides were falling out as I took each bite. The wrap the put around it to hold it together becomes saturated with oil and serves no purpose. A good place to try something different if you work in the area

Yelp
Another TGTG order and this time i asked even though i know it's suppose to be a surprise! I really wanted to make a decent review, i got the Chana w/chicken and the steak on partha they were both stunningly amazing. I can't gloat about this place enough. I wish i lived closer.

James H.

Yelp
I wasn't sure what I wanted for lunch but knew it had to be relatively small and fast. I always wanted to try krc. Ok - let me cut to the chase - I really liked the tikka masala Kati roll, but ordering and watching orders being fulfilled while I waited was painfully slow. I think my face may have suggested that I was not pleased as the person completing my order did not ask if I wanted my order to be double bagged (they typically offer a plastic bag in addition to the paper one). Slow motion. The sandwich itself was good but dry. They seemed to have various dipping sauces - none were offered. Maybe ordering on line would make the experience better - the less time watching the slow fulfillment ballet the better

B T.

Yelp
Rolls were delicious! Achari paneer was best, as well as aloo masala which had more kick. Good vegetarian options. Arrived well put together and on time. Dumplings weren't clearly labeled so it was not possible to eat, since the inside ingredients weren't able to be confirmed.

J R.

Yelp
The food is exceptional - I love it. The service is a disaster, especially on the weekends. There's usually one person working -cooking, taking orders, and managing all the to-go business, and if the place gets crowded, you can wait over 40 minutes for your food. You may wait 10 or 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. I always feel bad for the one overwhelmed employee, this place desperately needs more help!

Avery D.

Yelp
I got two rolls. Achari paneer and Chana masala. The Chana masala was not the best. The chickpeas weren't super flavorful and were kind of all lumped in a big mass. The achari paneer roll is really good. I've had it before but this time was the best. The peppers in it had a lot of flavor and the paneer is always so firm and good. Sat in the covered outdoor seating which was nice but traps the heat I think so it for pretty warm.

Andres D.

Yelp
Good cheap wraps made really fast! Yeah it's not one of the best restaurants in Manhattan but it's a great option! I tried the chicken tikka and the chicken & egg rolls, and most recommend the later!

Jasmine S.

Yelp
One of the best places in the city to grab a small (but very filling) bite. The restaurant is more of a take out place and not a sit in but they still have some seats available if you want to sit down. The outdoor seating is closed right now but I believe they open it for larger parties. The rolls are authentic and amazing. This is family and POC owned so definitely come support this place because their food is to die for. It's proper Indian street food that you don't want to miss out on. Run don't walk.

Jacky C.

Yelp
I've been to their location in midtown, so it was a pleasant surprise this was an added option for food in the WTC area. I got three different rolls, which may have been too much for lunch. On this visit, I ordered the Chicken Tikka Roll, Shami Kabab Roll, and Aloo Masala Roll, which were their top three sellers I think. I enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Roll and Aloo Masala Roll. Not soo much the Shami Kabab Roll.

Evan R.

Yelp
I stopped in here and only had time for the premade potato chips. They were spicy and great.

Christian F.

Yelp
Food was right on the money. Fast, spicy, salty, acidic, fresh herbs. Best spot down in FIDI in my opinion.

Mandy K.

Yelp
Better than the McDougal Street location that I remember as the rolls were less greasy. Plenty of vegetarian or vegan options. The paratha rolls were nice. Super fast service food was ready in no time which was great as we were in a rush. The vegan momo (dumplings) were nice and unlike Chinese dumplings, Indian ones have no sugar added in the filling! The masala chai was also good.

Prashanth N.

Yelp
Excellent flavors. Tried the paneer and chole Kathi rolls with chai. I would definitely visit again

Muhammad D.

Yelp
It doesn't look like much when you past by, but this place is a perfect lunch to eat at. You can eat on the go and the prices are very fair. I really love the Chana masala and the shank kabab roll. I would highly recommend eating here and I will come back again. The staff is also really nice.

Nabeal G.

Yelp
This place is delicious and delightful. Easy to quickly have a bite of culturally accurate food with a very nice and affordable price. The seating is very casual and the food is made fresh and very quickly.i love coming here and today won't the last time I do.

Megha D.

Yelp
Great food in the restaurant. I highly recommend their Kati roll. It's the best. I wish they opened earlier instead of noon but it's fine.

Kera S.

Yelp
3.5/5 I ordered the unda shami (lamb+egg) and chicken tikka roll as well as a masala chai and mango lassi. Portion sizes are on the smaller end but still enough to feel satisfying. The rolls were well seasoned, and the mango lassi was delicous. The masala chai was bland. Minus 1.5 stars for service. One of the women preparing my food was rude on 2 occasions. First was when I was making a request to remove onions from the roll. Second was when I didn't immediately respond to my number being called. I go to places with queue numbers all the time-they always say "your number is ___" after I'm done ordering. They didn't do that here. It also was NOT crowded, there were maybe 6 customers in the place total. How hard is it to keep track of an order for 4 minutes? It has all the makings of a good spot-the food is great, there's aircon, and you'll be able to snag a seat if you're not going during lunch hour. But I wont come back.

Lili T.

Yelp
First time at location, I expected roll to have more ingredients inside quite thin and small, the manho lassi excellent, the carrots cake is quite small and the spicy chips were good. I may return as the Tikka chicken is very flavorful.

Keyur K.

Yelp
Well it's obvious the Kati roll franchise isn't what it used to be when it was a single location on mcdougal and bleeker... but this location is awful. Let's forget the increase in price which is arguable but quality is not good, food is bland, no seasoning. They don't even give you a side of chutney or have it in the wrap. Paid like 40+ dollars for 5 rolls and not one was good. I think this place went from going slowly downhill to nosediving to the bottom! Rest In Peace!

Ayesha A.

Yelp
i was skeptical to try this place as the reviews aren't great but i was pleasantly surprised!! got the anda chicken roll with extra chutney and it was really good! it was ready in less than 15 minutes which was super convenient. there was seating inside but i think it's more of a take out spot. i'll definitely be back!!

Anamika K.

Yelp
I don't know what happened to this place but I've always gone in the past and bought their paneer rolls. The rolls used to be good but lately the paneer is incredibly burned and dry and the veggies are either over cooked or undercooked. I also don't know how they process their food and orders because the place is always hectic. Today when I went, there's literally a strand of hair intertwined within the roll. I couldn't even take it out. This restaurant really needs to do better.

Anna S.

Yelp
Love the Chana masala roti wrap. The Maiden Lane branch is very popular. Attentive staff and food is made fresh on order. The space is small but comfortable, and there is some outdoor seating. I'm very happy this is an option for me for a work lunch.

Honghui Y.

Yelp
The food here is great but the biggest problem I have is with their portion sizing. One roll is never enough food (I'm always hungry 3 hours after having one roll) and two rolls is always too much! I have the same complaint about pricing - one roll makes for a cheap but unfilling lunch and two rolls make for an expensive and overwhelming lunch. I wish there was a happy medium.

Kern C.

Yelp
Kati Roll continues its expansion throughout Manhattan with this new location . They also seemed to have recently added some dumplings to their menu which you can get fried or steamed . Sadly I didn't try their dumplings this occasion as I wanted to play it safe and and get their chicken roll . Some locations make it better than others but I'd say this location made it really well . Perfect amounts of sauce , great sauce and well cooked meat . I actually ate it straight from the refrigerator without reheating because it was that good . This location is small at about a 8x8 indoor sitting area but was very clean and well maintained . Service was also nice . This is easily one of the best cheaper eats in this area with this new addition and I'd highly recommend checking it out .

Remon S.

Yelp
Came here after a coworker suggested it and it was the perfect quick lunch. I ordered the Unda Paneer roll and the Chicken Tikka Roll and I enjoyed the Unda more.

Mehak C.

Yelp
So if you google kathi rolls in nyc this will be the number one search result. I've had the rolls at the NYU campus years ago but since we were in financial district it made it easier to try one of these franchises instead. My chicken tikka kathi roll was pretty average The egg parantha mutton roll was a lot more flavorful. The rolls aren't too bad but I just feel that given the fact that this is NYC, the haven for great food, my expectations were a lot higher.

Jessica K.

Yelp
Meh. My office just moved from Chelsea to the tip of Manhattan and I took a hard loss moving away from Indikitch. Was wandering around and saw this place and popped in hoping to find a replacement for my beloved chicken Tikka dosas. Ordered a chicken Tikka roll and then proceeded to stand there for 15-20 minutes for one food item. Customers are given numbers on receipts but they make the food not based on customer number but just however they want to. I had people who ordered well after me walk out with their food well before me. Watched one of the cooks basically eat with his mouth open as he was preparing people's food. Opened it and took a bite and it was lukewarm as if it had been made 20 minutes prior and then just left to sit somewhere. Roll was mushy, insides had only ok flavor, some pieces were legit burnt, it was super dry, barely any filling or sauce. Not anywhere I'd run back to. The hunt continues. Indikitch, I miss you. :*(

Yelp
Food is decent (the paneer was way too dry but whatever), but the "service" leaves too much to be desired. I've never seen such a complete mess in the kitchen/order processing. I was told to expect a 15-20 minute wait and ended up spending my entire 45 minute lunch break waiting for the order. All the while the line of inpatient customers kept growing, orders kept coming out wrong and the chaos behind the counter kept escalating. It was one of those Kitchen Nightmare situations where the celebrity TV chef would typically storm in and shut down the restaurant until everything was fixed from scratch. That's probably what this place needs - total overhaul in management.

Jane D.

Yelp
Extremely slow service and staff is not knowledgeable about the food they are selling. I asked multiple times if it is not spicy and said it is for the kids and was assured that it is not unless I ask for it. One and only guy who cooks food is taking his sweet time. I ended up leaving without a part of the order as I was already very late (even though I was told that it will not take more than 10min). When I brought food to the kids they could not eat it as it was all smeared with spicy sauce. Dumpling soy vinegar sauce also had chilli's in. Kids are screaming hungry but I get to eat all of it and food is awesome! 2 stars for the service 5 stars for the food

Lily D.

Yelp
The food is absolutely amazing! So many flavours and options. I am a bit sad they got rid of the rice bowls but the kati rolls and parathas are really nice. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the staff at this location are very rude and not friendly. It has happened everytime I am in town. Today the chef/cook came to take my order and left the grill for a few moments, he was very nice and I decided to include a 10% tip. The other lady who normally is on the register was preparing for kati rolls and was very rude, meanwhile she could not even remember my order which was on the ticket. It would be really nice if the staff were as pleasant as the food.

Fatoma R.

Yelp
I came here for a quick lunch as I'm used to the Kati Roll on McDougal who *quickly* serves up their great kati rolls. This location seemed to be new- but I was terribly disappointed with their service. They weren't attentive and we were standing their waiting for at least 5 minutes before we ourselves had to usher the person over telling them that we want to order and then had to usher him back so we could put in a second order- we were standing next to each other and nothing, no response from them. They took forever to prepare the food. One of my rolls was also over cooked so the meat was a little burnt- not a good taste. Didn't take any photos of the interior as I was annoyed with trying to just get my sandwich and was too annoyed to bother taking a good picture of the rolls. I'll stick to the Kati Roll on McDougal and hope this one gets better because nothing but disappointment from me for this location.

Halal I.

Yelp
We were STARVING when we decided to go here, and goodness, did we satisfy every single one of our picky tastebuds. We ordered a Chicken Tikka Kati Roll and a Aalu Channa Bowl. The Kati Roll was so so good, it was so filling and it didn't feel heavy at all!The Aalu Channa Bowl was our favorite amongst the two. It included 2 curries, Rice, Paratha (Bread), Salad and 2 different chutneys. What we liked the most was that the curries were a perfect blend of savory and sweet and the rice were made differently so not at all basic! Everything was served fresh and we loved the casual, cosy ambience!

andrea p.

Yelp
I was exited about trying something new (to me) in my hood . I waited a few minutes while they prepared my roll . Unfortunately I saw the gloveless lady that put my food in the paper bag scratching her scalp a few rimes . I basically lost my appetite and ended up throwing the whole thing away .

Colin C.

Yelp
I ordered via Ritual for pickup in the evening. Never had this before but gave it a shot and ordered what was most popular from other Ritual customers. I ordered the Kosha Mangsho Roll (paratha) and the Unda Chicken Roll (paratha). The bill came out to just over $15 after taxes. I arrived at the restaurant to pick up the food 10 minutes after placing the order and ended up waiting another 10 minutes once inside. The restaurant was clean. The Mangsho Roll which was filled with spiced goat meat was overly salty and the Unda Chicken roll was much better but for some reason resembled the flavor of chicken found in a loaded stuffed burrito from Taco Bell. The paratha roti (dough) that the food was wrapped in was extremely greasy as can be seen in the picture. The food wasn't anything close to being good and for $15 it wasn't close to being worth it. Wouldn't recommend this place for anyone in the mood for this tho of cuisine.

Huong H.

Yelp
This place is in absolute chaos. I preordered 40 minutes before pickup but when I got there they didn't even make the food yet. I ended up waiting for 10 minutes to get my food. I also specifically asked not to put onions in my roll. Guess what, my food came out filled with nothing but onions. What's worse is that the person preparing the food didn't wear mask and she was arguing with her coworker over some orders the whole time I was there. Regardless of covid or not, this is so disgusting. Honestly this will be my last time ordering food here.

Rudi S.

Yelp
The food tastes good, but waiting for two rolls for 20 minutes during my lunch break? Seriously??

Mike J.

Yelp
Waited 25 minutes for a single kati roll. Gets very crowded and it's hard to stay out of people's way when you're waiting. I'd come here more often if it didn't always take so long to get my order, during both peak and off-peak times.

Arpana P.

Yelp
I like the chain in general, but this location has been terrible both times I've been. The most recent time, there were only 3 customers in total but only 1 employee both taking orders and making food. We all waited 35-45 minutes for our food. The owner/manager was at the store and was extremely apologetic to the customers although she was visibly frustrated at the employee. When I got my order, I came home to find that they were missing one item. I don't blame the employee/server at all as she was doing her best for handling all the orders by herself but it's clear that they need more staff since only one person was working. The other time, I ordered for delivery, and after 1.5 hours of waiting and trying to call, we walked by and saw the location was closed. It's fine if you're closed randomly but don't accept orders if you're closed. Seriously mismanaged and needs more staff. Would like a refund for my missing items but don't want to even go there again.

Nora M.

Yelp
Never left a review before, but the situation here was really one of the worst waits I've ever had. Only go here if you want to have a hour+ wait for your take out food at 1 pm on a work day. Truly it was heinous how little was able to be made in the amount of time I waited. No explanation was offered, seems like a normal occurrence

Erica S.

Yelp
Loved the Kati rolls I got - chicken tikka roll, Chana roll, & aloo anda roll - but it was a 30 minute wait for them. They did have a sign that indicated a 15-20 minute wait at the register when I ordered but it just seemed like a super long wait for a quick non-sit down spot. I hope they get more help and can speed up the wait because the food is great!

Saralyn R.

Yelp
I Looooove this place!!!! You must try the chicken Kati roll I only ever had this one but I'm sure the others are just as good. I love it so much I must stop every time I enter or leave the city!! Mmmm it's so good !! I wish there was in in Pennsylvania!!

Binita G.

Yelp
I absolutely love Kati Roll Company -- it's one of my favorite go-tos, and as a Kolkata native, a kati roll is truly the peak of good, greasy, late-night street food. KRC is the place that I've found that makes kati rolls so authentically and so well. When in doubt, always get the unda paratha (with egg), because a true kati roll would be remiss without the layer of egg in it. Docking one star because I was super disappointed to see that this location doesn't have the kosha mangsho roll, which is unparalleled, but that roll is available at the East Village location. Thankfully, the chicken roll does in a pinch, but I do find myself missing the richness that is unique to the kosha mangsho roll. I've seen other reviews of long wait times, but I ordered on a Sunday afternoon, and luckily only had a 15-minute wait time when I placed the order online, so I really don't think there's any issues of wait times, especially at this location. Also note: this location does not take orders over the phone, so make sure to place your takeout order online only. Don't forget to have a side of masala chips while you're at it. Definitely recommend very highly!

Hanna T.

Yelp
Really good, everything I've had here so far I've really liked. The rolls are snack size, two makes it more of a meal. But be prepared to wait. Today it took 20 minutes for 1 roll. Everyone else in there was waiting just as long, too. And it's a pretty small space, too so it's not a comfortable wait.

Farooha H.

Yelp
My college days, I frequented the one in MacDougal as it wasn't as expensive. 15 years later, one branch opens near my office and a small kati roll cost almost $8.00. I can honestly make this myself with using frozen Malaysian Parathas. I haven't visited the MacDougal in years. So maybe I'm thinking that Kati Roll is organic like Honest Chops, hence the expensive meat. But there was no veggies inside, so the Kati was really small. Next time, I will just go down the block to the Kati Truck for $3 each if I am really craving for one.

Paarin M.

Yelp
This place does not live up to the Kati Roll Company name. I am used to going to the ones in midtown and on Macdougal and was thrilled to see one opened by my office. I have gone twice now and both times were a hugedisappointment. For starters, they simply just forgot to make my order, and finally after several times trying to get someone's attention they realized they messed up and made mine. The paratha was cold and dry. It was so dry that it was actually difficult to chew. The filling was cold and almost entirely flavorless. Almost zero spice. I am used to the chicken tikka roll being spicy enough to make you reach for water from other locations. The chicken also seemed slightly undercooked, and i had to discard a piece that was especially questionable. The lamb roll was slightly better flavor wise, but was still cold. I ate at the restaurant so the food had been given to me 1 min before eating, so there should be no excuse. There was also a line out the door so there's no reason food should be sitting around and getting cold. To make things worse, 2 rolls and a can of coke ran me over $15. That sealed the deal for me and I wont be returning. You can get 2 rolls and a soda for $7 at many of the local biryani/halal carts and have a much tastier meal. I just can't understand how this location can be so much worse than the others, especially when there is so much similar food for half the price at the carts.

Roger P.

Yelp
First time stopping into this place and it was great! The smell is actually what bright me through the door so I checked out the menu and had to try. If you like Indian you'll love this place. I had the chicken tikka Kati roll and the lamb Kati roll. Bother we're amazing but the chicken tikka was the star!

Mona V.

Yelp
When I was in college I used to go to the MacDougal St location every time I craved Indian food. Sadly this location is not the same standard. When I went they were very disorganized. The rolls themselves were okay, but not as good as the other locations.

C L.

Yelp
Glad to see a Kati Roll in FiDi and probably one of the better ones in the city. Very clean looking and great food.
